even with the warning the weight of the chest plate causes her to stumble , but assuredly omega catches herself . it’s really not THAT heavy ; she’s simply unused to the extra weight unlike them . eyes sparkle with excitement looking down at it , then back to wrecker . armor had been something she always dreamed of her entire life . to her , it was almost a sign of FITTING IN .

                    New   equipment   was   always   exciting   for   many   reasons,   but   the   one   that   took   the   cake   was   painting   it.   Wrecker   took   pride   in   doing   so   when   it   came   to   his   armor,   or   anything   on   the   ship.   It   gave   it   personality,   and   well,   Wrecker   didn’t   fall   short   in   that   category.   So,   he   wanted   to   make   sure   she   got   the   chance   to   do   something   of   the   sort,   make   it   feel   more   part   of   their   family   than   she   already   was.

            Seeing   her   excitement   exploded   his   own,   and   a   booming   laugh   slipped   through   his   lips.   His   one   hand   on   his   hip,   and   the   other   on   her   shoulder   to   steady   her,   “   We   can   do   whatever   ya   want.   It’s   yours!   I’m   sure   we   got   some   paint   ‘round   here.   ”

                Wrecker   was   quite   excited.   Why?   Well,   mainly   he   was   speaking   with   Omega.   That   alone   was   enough   to   set   joy   in   his   chest.   Speaking   of   body   parts,   it   was   time   she   needed   to   be   protected.   Slowly   place   armor   on   her.   Wrecker   was,   in   fact,   in   fear   of   her   safety,   “   I   gotcha   a   chest   plate.   Somethin’   to   keep   you   safe   while   we’re   out   doin’   are   stuff,   ”   he   started,   “   Why   don’t   we   get   it   painted?   ”

A gloved hand rested on the clone’s arm. Though they had clashed before (no hard feelings there), this time they were on the same side and he did her no good if he went supernova. Wrecker reminded her a bit of a rancor. A creature that could be both docile and destructive. He was worried about his brothers, of that she could relate (though hers were long gone).

“Eyes on me, Wrecker.” Her voice muffled but firm behind her helmet. “You know they can take care of themselves. We’ll be of no use to them if we get caught, too. I need you to focus.”

                    He   felt   the   touch   to   his   arm,   body   tensed   even   more   for   half   a   second.   Wrecker   needed   to   take   a   moment,   letting   out   a   soft   breath...   now   he   was   calm.   Well,   more   calm   than   he   had   before.   Fists   unclench,   the   nails   of   his   fingertips   cut   deep   into   his   palms.   His   brothers   were   everything.   He   couldn’t   allow   them   to   get   hurt.   He   had   hurt   them   once   before,   granted   it   was   because   of   his   chip,   but   it   still   damaged   the   larger   clone   more   than   he   will   ever   tell.   Though   she   asked   for   his   attention,   his   eyes   shifted   away   from   her.   Ashamed   almost,   “   I...   I   am   focused.   ”

                  He   was   a   destructive   force   that   was   easily   given   by   his   name   and   size.   He   wasn’t   easily   swayed   physically,   and   sometimes   mentally.   Oftentimes   his   brutality   was   turned   against   him   in   a   negative   way   either   picked   on   by   Regs,   or   the   cause   of   his   own   wounds.   Which   was   why   his   face   was   scared   with   burns,   and   one   functional   eye.   When   his   anger   flared   with   worry,   he   was   not   very   functional   mentally,   and   would   lash   out   until   the   point   came   across,   “ Make   it,   break   it,   take   it-   ”   he   hissed   rather   loudly,   jaw   clenched.

                    “   We   know   they   scared   of   us,   ”      words   were   hard   to   hear   from   his   modulated   voice   as   he   grabbed   the   child   in   his   strong   grip,   dodging   the   blaster   fire   that   came   from   The   new   Empire   that   grew   in   The   Republic’s   place.   What   he   said   was   true.   They   were   scared   of   them,   clones   who   weren’t   activated   by   their   chips,   scared   of   their   rebellious   nature,   scared   of   what   they   might   do,   “   Know   they   don't   care   for   us-   ”   he   once   again   mumbled,   sliding   on   his   knees   to   a   safe   spot   out   of   place.   Wrecker   placed   the   young   child   down   for   him   to   catch   his   breath.   Even   his   hulking   form   was   frightened   by   the   experience.

            Wrecker   straightened   up   with   excitement   when   he   heard   the   female   speak.   Lips   spread   upwards   into   a   wide   smile,   a   booming   laugh   left   through   his   parted.   There   was   triumph   and   determination   in   his   good   eye,   “   Yes!   I   was   waitin’   on   when   you   would   agree!   ”

          He   stood   to   his   full   height,   “   How   did   ya   wanna   go   about   it?   ”

My Opinion on;

Character in general:   I just have to say, without a doubt, that I am overly pleased with the way Wrecker is not only designed, but his overall attitude.  He’s childish, sure, but he’s also very caring and tender — emotional, I guess, which makes up for the lack thereof within the other batchers. I love that while he is incredibly strong physically, he also has strong attachment and emotion — he’s the most expressive out of all of them. And it shows. I think TBB made me love Wrecker a whole lot more because he wasn’t just limited to comedic relief. I think he got quite  few steps of development in and, even at his worst ( not his fault , it was the chip ), it was still a step forward. One of my favorite things about Wrecker is that while he’s not the sharpest tool in the box, he’s not entirely a fool ? I loved that they showed him being an explosives expert on Bracca and how his plan ( which Echo snapped at him about ), was actually the plan that saved them. So, he’s not entirely a fool — I am glad TBB highlighted that. I absolutely love Wrecker. He’s like a giant teddy bear, but can also definitely kick your ass.  How they play them:   Aaaaah !! I absolutely love your Wrecker ! You write him with such a childish nature, but not so much that it takes away from the fact that he’s a soldier. He’s powerful, strong, yet caring towards his brothers. I love the way you write his internal thoughts, because while they may be silly vocally, we get to see what he’s really thinking and how it really impacts his life. I very much enjoy him wanting to hang out with his brothers, just as much as destroying things, and I really find his affinity for chaos to be perfectly combined in your writing. I love the depth of his emotions and how you’ve written him to show them — especially after his chip issue. I really love the way you dig deeper into his past and growing up on Kamino ! And I love the way your dialogue just makes me hear everything in that booming voice of his — it’s just so vivid and lively. I want to write more with Wrecker, because I know you’ve got a ton of ideas and I’m excited to see what more you can bring forward from this character !  The Mun:   AJ !! What can I say , really ? You’re great ! You’ve always been very positive and supportive towards your friends and I’ve always really enjoyed seeing you hype about your boy Wrecker ( and man, people need to love this dude more ). I think you’ve been through a lot in life and you continue to fight, regardless of how tired you are. You’ve been a wonderful person to talk to and get to know over the year ( years ? Time isn’t real anymore ), and I look forward to talking more — even though I am super slow and rarely talk. I love discussing how all of our muses can interact and seeing your creativity shine through. And you’ve been nothing but a delight to talk to ! You’re a sweet, kind and caring person who has a great knack for making me laugh when I really need it. You’ve got such a great spike of imagination and you can create so many characters far quicker than I could ever — I admire that about you ! With your Obi, Kanan, Omega, your OCs, your Wrecker — just anyone ! You have such a passion for all that you do and I honestly hope life treats you well in the future. You’ve been through enough and endured so much — it’s time for life to give you a break !
