When I'm looking for an entertaining story, whether it's written, filmed or a podcast, I could care less about how inclusive it is. I don't give a shit about a character's sexual identity if that character has no personality, if the story is riddled with plot holes, and/or if the writers need to demean one group of people to raise another up.

If your media's strongest characteristic is its diversity, you've failed as a writer and you've lost most of your audience, which is why most recent media gets review bombed while being white knighted by a vocal minority who don't even watch or listen to it, just defending their ideology without participating.
