Israel went to Jenin today, in the West Bank, and kidnapped this 7 year old girl from her family. They do these things often but we rarely catch them on film [@/Carl0s_Vela on X.]:
Journalist Mahmoud Al-Awadia reports that the occupation has kidnapped a 94-year-old woman named Naifa Al-Nawati from her home near Al-Shifa Hospital. Regardless of whatever flimsy justification the IPF may put forward for this vulgarity, this act is clearly meant to terrorize, intimidate, dishearten, and further destabilize the community.
Exactly! This is why I hate it when she is deemed as "psycho villain". She is an abused 14 year old, what makes her breakdown at the end of the series even more tragic.
Azula was not spoiled.Ozai did not favor her because he loved her but because she made the perfect child soldier. It's canon that he never gave her genuine affection, only praise for living up to his expectations and just because her abuse wasn't physical like Zuko's dosen't mean she didn't have it 'as bad him as him'.It's also canon she's as scared of him as he was because she knew the second she slipped up he'd hurt her too and he's the reason she was isolated from her peers except the two he raised her to deem 'worthy' in Ty Lee and Mai.Call Ozai's treatment of Azula what it was, because he might not have done that to her but the term is not exclusively sexual:Child grooming
“Katara and Aang’s romance was one sided and the writers forced Katara into a relationship with Aang at the last second! She clearly didn’t have any feelings for him until the last episode!”
Small vent post, but why are the "eco friendly" options always the ones making life harder for disabled, old and very young people?
Brought to you by a nurse in training, that just learned that the free plastic water bottles going to be replaced with glass jugds.
This might not seem like a big deal, but next to the bigger risk of getting hurt (both patients on possible shards and nurses on getting hard things thrown on them), the weight makes drinking harder.
Because its not just the weight of the glass, but also the weight of the water.
Weaker Patients (old people, little children, people with disabilities that make it hard to grasp and hold things) have a hard time lifting them.
