Rodolphus Lestrange is a powerful wizard and dangerous foe, but there is nothing cold nor calculated about him. He is as wild and impulsive as his wife Bellatrix, though she possesses a sense of discretion that Rod has long struggled to imitate. He doesn’t want to hide or hold back. He wants the mad joy of the highs he experiences from the myriad of addictive potions and powders he takes, as well as the violence he exults in.
