As far as Jasper, I liked the idea behind his route. I think the route had a lot of potential, but I think it could've been executed better. Especially early on, since a lot of stuff could've been left up to the imagination - and could've caused a lot of shenanigans. I still like what he can be as a character, and I'll probably re-read his route as well - I'd like to see what's going on in that mind of his. Need to finish Knight, Rio, and Grayson. And then Tino when his route comes. I'm not sure which route I should get invested in next, but I have Knight's one up rn. Lol. 2/2

Honestly when I started Jasper's route... man... I was addicted to his route. I was extremely hooked on it and just wanted to keep going. I do think that his route isn't the best story-wise (after looking at it as a whole) and it is mostly because of everything you stated. It had the potential but the execution just wasn't it. Jasper as a character will still always be good to me (the problems I have in his route mostly lies with Guy (plus I hate what Guy did in the ending unless I'm being too sensitive about it maybe?).) Though overall I agree with you 100% anon. Knight and Rio are very good routes! I talked about Knight in the previous ask, but Rio I remember liking a lot! He's high up in my list (off the top of my head) and it was a very enjoyable route! Still so excited for Tino! I'm planning on playing his route right after Lance's and I'm so excited about it!

Lol. I'm really following in your footsteps for CoD. Staring on Knight's route now. Yes, for all the routes I've done thus far, I've chosen the sweet ending. I liked Fenn's route alright, though it did take a bit to get started. Roy and Toa's routes, I liked their routes too. I think I prefered Toa's over Roy, just because of how Toa went about it, and I'm very much a slow burn sort of person. The twist in both Toa and Roy's routes made my jaw drop. I absolutely enjoyed Lance's route - It's such a fun route, and well done. I want to do a second playthrough of his route. 1/2

Knight's route is sooo good! I hope you enjoy it! Also you're doing the exact opposite as me with endings, I've been doing Mischief this whole time since they can be more spicy. From what I can remember of Fenn's route it was pretty okay but not one of my favorites. Though I agree so much on Toa! I think his route is the best route (story) in my opinion! His route was so good and it was paced so well! I'm so happy you enjoyed it and enjoyed Roy's route as well! I can see where you are coming from with Lance, aaaaa his route is so good and I'm honestly just in love. I wasn't expecting to enjoy his route this much, but I'm definitely taken with it and him and I might have to replay Toa's route to see who really is first place on the route story spectrum.

Happy New Year Mod! (I'm not sure when you'll get this.) But I finished Fenn's route in CoD! I didn't expect that ending tho. It was pretty sweet. From there, I just started Toa's route. But I've also gotten distracted by the events. The events are making me want to do the valet's routes now. First Carol of the Valets, now Secrets from the Master? We're getting all the valet content and I'm here for it! It's so good!

Happy (late) New Year! How has the first half of your 2022 to been? Which ending did you go with on Fenn's route (I'm going to assume Magic if you're saying it's sweet, but I don't remember his ending really since it's been a year now.) Unfortunately these events happened during the time I wasn't playing, haha. The holidays can be busy so I don't really play and tend to stop playing till spring the next year. (Which is true I started playing again in March.) Though I'm happy you enjoyed them Anon!

JP Court of Darkness is having a collab with Sanrio and I am living for it. I'm so hyped and want to see the merch~ Fenn and Cinnamoroll are so cute! Toa's over there with Tuxedo Sam, Lynt's with PomPomPurin, Roy's with My Melody, and of course Guy is with Hello Kitty. I'm not sure how to feel about Guy with the flagship Sanrio character, but I'm very much looking forward to the merch! Have you seen it, Mod?

I actually don't keep up with JP CoD, but when I saw you send this in I was very excited and had to check it out!! I love Sanrio!! Aaaaa, Roy with My Melody is actually so cute! Though agree and don't know how to feel about Guy being with Hello Kitty also considering she's my favorite. Also Lance and Dia have Kuromi! Knight with Tuxedo Sam is very cute! (Also, thinking about how his va is Hiro Shimono and in the SL x Sanrio Collab Syo has Tuxedo Sam). Aaaaa, it's just all so cute!

MOD. THE TOKIYA EVENT. The Drama! I wasn't expecting that! I'm so tempted to write something again now because that was too dang good! How did you like the story?

Birdcage Tokiya was such a good event story! It left me a little confused, but how they did that plot and everything was very good! Tokiya drama event stories are always very good and this one continued to prove it! (Also if you write/wrote anything about it I would love to read it if you're willing to share!)

On a different note, Mod, I have to thank you for getting me into Court of Darkness. I haven't been able to put it down since I started playing it at the end of 2021. I've already made my way through a bunch of different routes - Toa, Roy, and Lance so far. I'm finishing up Jasper's one now. I keep wanting to throw CoD-esque scenarios for you to write on. Idk how it'd work, but it's a fun thought exercise. It's also funny to mention this with Tino's route coming out once again. Lol. 2/2

I recently just got back into CoD myself since the last time I played was Jasper's route last year, but I finished Knight's route and now am a 1/3 way through Lance's. Aaaaaaaa CoD is so good! I'm so happy I was able to drag someone else down with me! How did you like Toa's and Roy's route? How are you feeling/thoughts about Jasper's? Also loving Lance's route right now, if his route stays this good I might have to rearrange my CoD Route Story Ranking List. Also... Tinooooo aaaaaaa... I've been waiting for so longgggg. I'm super excited about it! I actually just reread the talks we had about Tino's route and also find it funny that the last time we talked about CoD was when we were talking about Tino, haha. Though also that is partly my fault since you did send it some CoD general stuff and I just haven't responded to it, which I'm so sorry about! I sent you down this hole and just never responded back! Your postings were nice to come back to, Mod! I enjoyed how you created the story for the Ren scenario in your Harem AU, and the Seiichiro story too where he and Ren had to share an S/O. I'm tempted to send you more Seiichiro stuff and more Harem AU. You did such a great job with it, and I'm excited that you're continuing to make stories. You take as much time as you need to make the stories. ^^ 1/2

Aaa, I'm happy you liked them/Thank you! Even though I deleted the Seiichiro one because of anxiety that struck me, but I'll repost it sometime in the future. Feel free to send in more asks regarding both! I love writing things in a more story/one-shot way since that's my favorite way to write even though it can take a bit and I can't/don't do it all of the time, but it was very fun for those asks! I hope to start posting more in the future but I'm just going to take it a little bit slow for right now. Thank you!

Thanks for clearing up the Harem AU, Mod! As thanks, a question for that verse. What would happen if the kidnapped S/O starts to open up to Ren first over everyone else in the Harem? (Ex. S/O starts to confide in Ren because they think Ren is sympathetic to their plight?)

    Walking down one of the many luxurious hallways on the first floor I look around. I’m keeping a sharp eye out in case I see any of the princes, but mostly to see if there are any ways to escape or leave this place. Amidst my little adventure, hoping not to get caught, a figure catches my attention from beyond one of the large windows. It’s Ren. His eyes are closed and it seems as though he is thinking to himself as he stands in the rose garden with a rose in hand.

    It makes for a picture perfect sight with the moon above him casting… almost a spotlight on him. I’m left thinking about previous conversations I’ve had with him. It started off with sweet words, but he ended up showing his genuine care. I… felt like he was worried about me in the current situation. As though he understood me in some way. So, it might not be a bad idea to go out and talk to him.

    I stare at his peaceful form for a second longer before making up my mind. Maybe if he understands… there might be hope after all.

    “Hey… Ren?” I call out to him with a little hesitance. His eyes open languidly as he moves the rose away from under his nose.

    “Yes? What is it, Little Lamb?” Ren stares directly at me and the words that fall out of his mouth beckon me into telling him all that’s on my mind. I take a step closer still leaving a considerable amount of space between us. Ren moves to sit on the stone bench by us and encourages me over.

    “Here, how about we sit together and you can tell me everything alright?” Ren’s voice is filled with warmth as he holds a hand out. I look at his face which holds a nice smile, and then back at his outreached hand. He doesn’t seem to be playing around, and he seems to be ready to listen.

    Giving him a small nod I take his hand and allow him to pull me into the vacant spot next to him. Once I’m seated and comfortable he removes his hand from mine and keeps a little bit of distance, which makes me very relieved.

     “Ask away,” Ren says with soft encouragement as his attention shifts to focus on whatever it is I might say. Giving him another small nod, I take in a deep breath of the rose scented air.

    “Alright then…” I start talking to him about what’s bothering me. The situation I was forced into, my feelings on it, and how in a way, I feel like I’m trapped in a cage forced into a relationship that I don’t even know if I wanted or not.

    “...and so… that’s everything,” I finish up as I stare at him. Throughout all of my talking and explaining, Ren kept his focus on me. The smile vanished off his face and took a slightly more serious expression. We sit in silence for a moment as he processes what I just told him. Then after a moment an understanding smile gets placed upon his lips.

    “I see… I think I understand where you’re coming from…” I look at him with a feeling of hope rising in my chest.

    “You do…?” I ask, my voice rising slightly higher as a little bit of relief washes over me.

    “Of course, it might not be the same… but I was also forced against my will to be somewhere I didn’t want to be at the time.” I tilt my head at Ren’s words, encouraging him to continue.

    “My brother ordered me to attend Saotome Gakuen and become an idol so I could be a poster boy for the family’s company. It felt as though I had no say in the matter and I was forced to follow it. …So if that’s how you feel right now Little Lamb… Then I completely understand.” Ren wears a serious expression. I didn’t know he had a past like that… but it also makes it so much easier for me. If he understands and was in a similar situation… then maybe he’ll help me to escape.

    “Then Ren. Will you-”

    “Ah, (Y/n)... Jinguji.” I hear Masato’s voice coming from behind me cutting me off, his voice was soft but then got stern seeing Ren with me.

    “Is there something that you need Hijirikawa? Little Lamb and I were in the middle of a conversation.” Ren dons on a suave expression as he replies.

    “We’re going to hold a meeting, everyone needs to be there.” Masato seems a little irked along with Ren, seeming to be annoyed at our conversation being interrupted. I myself am quite upset about this interruption, but I choose not to be too upset with hopes that in the near future we would get another chance to talk like this. If Ren understands me, then that’s all I need to keep going right now.

    I get up from my seat on the bench and with Ren following somewhat reluctantly behind me. I start to follow Masato as soon as he turns around to lead us, but get surprised by my hand suddenly being grabbed. I turn my head back and see Ren with a finger over his mouth and a wink. I give him a nod of my head accepting his hand as a pillar of support. I turn back around and start to walk with Ren at my side.

    When we get to the meeting room everyone else is already there. Ren slyly lets go of my hand before taking an empty seat on one of the sofas in the lounge. I am then quickly greeted by a puppy looking Otoya and a worried Syo.

    “(Y/n)...! I’m so happy you’re back!” Otoya wraps his arms around my waist unexpectedly causing me to go ridge as I’m still not used to him doing this when I see him.

    “(Y/n), haah… I was so worried! I couldn’t find you anywhere in the mansion so I thought something happened to you. If you’re not feeling well then just tell me alright?” Syo speaks nothing but care and it does warm my heart, but sometimes that care can go into extremes if I let him.

    “Ahem, Ittoki get off of them you’re making them uncomfortable,” Masato buds in making Otoya reluctantly let go of me.

    “I’m sorry (Y/n)...” Otoya apologizes with a pout like a guilty puppy. I let out an internal sigh of relief before hearing… 

    “(Y/n)! You can come sit by me if you want. I have some sweets for us to share!” Natsuki’s voice drifts my attention away from the three idols around me and over to where he sits at the opposite side of the room at a table filled with tea and an accessory of sweets. He has a happy look on his face, and as much as I wish to sit next to Ren, I figure it would be best not to show too much of a bias towards anyone and move to sit with Natsuki.

    “Everyone’s here so we can start,” Tokiya starts off. My attention is then fixed on Tokiya while Natsuki pours me a cup of tea. I jump at slight contact of my hand being grabbed from under the table and turn my head to see Cecil sitting right beside me when he wasn't before.

    "It's okay prince/princess," Cecil whispers with a secretive glint in his eyes. I let out a deep breath as I focus my attention back onto Tokiya.

    “This meeting is to set up appointed times so the time spent with (Y/n) is even amongst us.” I take a look around at everyone at Tokiya’s words. Everyone seems to be in agreement, but when I look at Ren he doesn’t show any particular emotion on it. I also can’t seem to place how exactly to feel about this either.

    “If everyone is in agreement then-”

    “How well do you think this is going to work Ichi?” Ren suddenly interrupts with an amused smile on his face.

    “It won’t be perfect but outside of the set times, (Y/n) may choose who to spend their time with themselves,” Tokiya responds sternly back. Ren hums to himself in thought before saying, “In other words it’s so everyone can keep tabs on the others right?”

    Ren holds a now cocky grin and all I can think to myself is “what?”. Is it because I spoke to Ren or was this in the works even before that?

    “So you think it’s a bad idea then?” Masato interjects. Ren’s smile never fades, “of course not. This also means that we can keep tabs on the Little Lamb too.” Ren glances in my direction and gives me a wink. My heart was about to drop at his words but hopefully his wink meant that he wasn’t serious about what he just said.

    “Right, if we all agree then let’s start.”

    The scheduling took hours. It was peaceful most times but sometimes there would be fights over what time someone got. Most times I’m with one idol and then I’m with two. I was hoping for a lot of gaps, but they took up nearly all the time I had and the small breaks I would get in between were hardly even breaks without another one coming in right after one left.

    All of me just feel so extremely frustrated at this whole ordeal. It makes escaping feel hopeless and even more so because every time slot I got with Ren also ended up being a double with someone else. Then when I spoke up about how I felt about the scheduling they said that it’s a placeholder for now and will adjust it accordingly, but part of me doesn’t even know if they will do that.

    I let out a big sigh not caring if Otoya, Syo, and Cecil hear it as they escort me back to 

my room. Then when we reach it I stay in the doorway.

    “Goodnight… I’ll see you all tomorrow,” is the only thing I can get past my lips without letting any frustration or disappointment show.

    “It’s alright (Y/n) things will get better okay!” Otoya tries to cheer me up while showing that he really doesn’t want to leave my side with how close he is.

    “Don’t worry prince/princess, your happiness is number one for us,” Cecil adds in with a pleasant smile on his face.

    “Yeah! We’ll make sure to arrange some things during our meeting!” Syo flashes a toothy smile at me. I nod my head languidly in their direction before closing my door where they rush to say their goodnights. Then in the darkness of my room I move myself to my bed and curl up into a ball. Tears start to prick at the corner of my eyes and all too soon they start to fall.

    Why… I was so close and now all hope seems to be gone. If only I had a little more time alone with him… then maybe I would’ve been able to escape or at least have something, but maybe this isn’t the end. Maybe Ren will help me out, but should I really hold onto that hope?

    “How were they when you dropped them off?” Tokiya asks the three that came back from the room of their shared precious one. When the trio walked in, Otoya gave off the impression of a sad puppy, Syo looks glum and Cecil doesn’t hold any particular emotion.

    “They don’t seem happy to be with us… are you sure this schedule is a good idea Tokiya?” Otoya says gloomy and uncertain as he looks at his older group member.  Tokiya lets out a long sigh and opens his mouth to say something.

    “Otoya-kun, of course (Y/n) is happy to be with us! They were probably just tired today, but tomorrow they’ll be just as happy as they always are!” Natsuki says with a bright smile on his face, cutting off Tokiya.

    “Yes… Shinomiya-san is right. (Y/n) will also get used to the schedule and be happy with it as well,” Tokiya says, regaining his focus after the interruption.

    “If we’re being honest then we wouldn’t have to have such a tight schedule if someone didn’t get too close to them,” Masato adds in, having a jab at a certain orange haired idol as the mentioned male continues to sit languidly on the sofa he was on earlier.

    “That’s right Ren. You have to tell us what the two of you were talking about!” Syo says, looking fiercely in his direction. 

    “Yes, tell us everything you know,” Cecil adds on with a serious expression. Ren lets out a short breath and then focuses his attention on everyone else in the room, a smile curving up out of its neutral position.

    “Of course, allow me to tell you everything I learned about the Little Lamb.”

As a token that I kind of lost my motivation, I decided to colour one of the scene- just a bit detail- I make the background (I tried) a little bit dark to give off a bit scary moment- the only completed one is the sketch xD

(even “she” awares that atmosphere around her suddenly feels a bit off so she feels uneasy somehow)

Hiatus

Hello everyone! Sorry for being kinda quiet on here lately, but I'm taking an offical break right now. I don't know when I'll be back it could be soon or in a few months, but I'm not quite sure.

Though as with how things are my creativity has taken a different turn. I'm working on a new Utapri AU and currently I've been getting into some other games that I either haven't played in awhile or are brand new. So I want to focus my attention onto them as well.

I know that I'm not the best when it comes to keeping the times I set for myself to come back and be active here, and I'm always so extremely sorry for that. Though I hope that you all can forgive me.

I'm still planning on being active on Tumblr just not posting, but if you want to talk then I'm on Twitter @/PZSkye so feel free to send a DM there and mention that you're from my blog. (Or you can DM me here if you're more comfortable with that.)

Hello! I do keep up with Shining Live! Though I'm not near close enough to the 350 bond level with anyone. I think my highest is with Ren somewhere in the 180s, but I just chose not to work on my bond levels. Though I'll keep an eye to see if anyone posts his line somewhere online, since now my interest is piqued!

Go Back to the Couch (2)

Beginning // Previous

    My mind made up, I hurry back over towards the couch. I lay in the same position I was in and right once I close my eyes I hear the door open with footsteps walking in. I try my best to be as still as possible as they approach me. I hear them mumble something under their breath a few feet away from me, but I can’t make out what they said.

    Then all of a sudden I feel a dip in the couch right beside my head. I dare not to move and continue to lay like this for quite awhile. It isn’t until I feel sleepy when I finally make a move to open my eyes. The first thing I see coming into view is the untouched glass of water still on the coffee table in front of me with the note I picked up earlier left wide open. A spark of panic flashes through me. The throbbing pain in my head is coming back but not as intense as before.

    “Are you up/awake?” Their voice causes me to jump involuntarily. I tightly close my eyes hoping that they’ll think I’m still asleep, but even I know I can’t sleep forever.

    “(Y/n) / (N/n), if you’re up then you should try to drink some water.” They encourage me to drink the suspicious glass, I also begin to notice their voice is starting to sound familiar to me. If I listen to it more I feel like I can place who they are just by how they sound.

    Though considering that my cover is blown I slowly move to sit up. I keep my eyes closed but jump at the slight contact of my hand being touched. They hold it for a moment before placing the glass in my hand. The dryness in my throat welcoming me.

    “Drink up, you must be thirsty.” They encourage me to drink it, but I don’t know if I should. If I don’t it could lead to bad consequences.

Attack with the Lamp (1)

Beginning // Previous

    Deciding to attack, I go ahead and grab the floor lamp. I move quickly to go against the wall where the door will shield me from view. I barely make it before the door opens and they enter in. I steady my breathing as I see the back of their figure. From my position I can watch them go over towards the couch. Now might be a good time to hit them.

    I can feel my anxiety almost freezing me to the spot. I take a big breath in and force myself to move. I might be starting to move a little too fast but as long as I get them then it should be fine. When I’m finally close enough to take a swing… it is stopped halfway through. They blocked it with their arm/hand. My heart starts to race and my body shakes. The throbbing pain in my head seems to increase and forces me to remember that it’s still there.

    I continue to hold on tightly to the lamp as it is the only sense of security I have. Even as they turn around grabbing onto the thin pole of the lamp tightly. I close my eyes before I can see their face. I can’t- don’t want to imagine what they will do to me after what I’ve tried.

    “(Y/n) / (N/n)...” They call for me. I don’t want to open my eyes. They take the lamp gently out of my grasp. I bring my hands to my chest and hold onto them. A second later they are met with another pair and are being pulled away from me. A thumb caresses the top of each hand.

    “It’s okay/alright.” They grab hold of one of my hands and drops the other. They lead me over towards the couch and we sit down together. I hear them grab something before placing it in my hand.

    “Drink up, you must be thirsty.” I swallow some saliva at his words. The dryness in the back of my throat and my pounding headache coming back to me. I’m still not sure what I should do. Should I really trust it? Maybe it would be best not to, but it might come with consequences.

    My head feels fuzzy, a slight pain making its way to the front. Slowly I open my eyes only to shut them tight as my head starts to throb. I move myself to sit up and try to look around me. Avoiding the pain my vision steadies and I notice a glass of water on a coffee table right in front of me. I’m laying on a plush couch and am in a luxurious living room.

    I take a look at the glass and realize how dry my throat is. Yet I don’t know if I should risk drinking it since something could be in it. I gave myself a quick rundown and there’s nothing out of sorts with my clothes, and I don’t particularly feel out of place anywhere, so I don’t think they did anything to me. Except for experiencing this pain in my head.

    Glancing at the water once again I notice a piece of paper folded beside it. I reach a hand down and grab it. I unfold it and read the simple line on the inside: “For when you wake up.” I look back at the glass and rationalize. I don’t even know who kidnapped me so should I trust it that easily? Instead I figure that I should be looking for a way out, not thinking about if I should trust a glass of water or not.

    Getting up from the couch I look around me to see possible exits. There’s a door to my left and one on the wall in front of me. I move to check the one in front of me first. I grab the knob and turn it, but it doesn’t budge in the slightest. Dropping my hand I move over to the one on the left. When I’m about to reach for it I can hear the lock starting to turn and the handle jiggle.

    A flash of fear shoots through me. I’m frozen for a second as I think of what to do. I probably only have a few seconds. There’s a lamp a few feet away from the door that could be used as a weapon, but if I’m fast enough maybe I should go back to the couch to pretend I’m sleeping?

Choice:

Attack with the lamp.

Or

Go back to the couch.

Hello everyone! I would like to say that today is this blog's 3rd year anniversary! I think this recent year was the best year for my blog but also because I was really happy with it too! I'm also so thankful for everyone here supporting and enjoying this blog! It's what continues my motivation and helps me to continue to write here! I know I haven't been active all December pretty much, but things are finally starting to slow down and go back to a steady pace so I hope to start posting again regularly sometime towards the middle to end of the month!
