"Treachery, Faith, and the Great River" (S07E06, Stardate UNKNOWN) introduces the element of a contagion among the Founders that will leave Odo the last of his kind, and a heroic Weyoun clone. Plus we get a fun B-plot with O'Brien and Nog. Loads of good stuff in this hour that is worth the viewing.
There was so much I could have used, but odo’s realization at the end is just too haunting and captures everything he went through in the episode.

"Chrysalis" (S07E05, Stardate UNKNOWN) walks the line between scifi and melodrama and balances pretty well. It is a quiet piece that explores Julian's sense of isolation and loneliness - something many of us can relate to - and casts him in the role of his own villain, driving his companion away.
How do you convey loneliness and isolation in a poster? I feel like I locked into that emotion in my episode poster.

As comedy episodes go, "Take Me Out to the Holosuite" (S07E04, Stardate UNKNOWN) ranks right near the top. Baseball, genuine humor, character moments, one-liners and some real growth moments for Ben amidst all of the chaos.
I modeled this episode poster after the Niners’ uniforms.

"Afterimage" (S07E03, Stardate UNKNOWN) is a solid (almost) bottle episode that welcomes Ezri to the fold and addresses some of the tension we will see with Worf. The mental health angle is a little simplistic, but it was the 90's. A nice hidden gem in the early seventh season.
I went through a few ideas for this one, but Garak and Ezra on the ledge was just too good to pass up.

"Shadows and Symbols" (S07E02, Stardate 52152.6) ties up a lot of ends nicely, bringing Ben back to the station after a pretty hefty trial. The inclusion of the Benny Russel vision was genius, and the Kira conflict was near perfect. All around fantastic way to start the final season.

"Image in the Sand" (S07E01, Stardate UNKNOWN) is a solid beginning to the seventh season, giving us a thoughtful continuation of the storylines from season 6, and a hopeful look forward. There are several subplots that are engaging and I look forward to seeing how they play out.
We get to meet Ezra Dax in my episode poster for Image in the Sand. I considered the face in the sand, but this moment felt more impactful. I did keep the sand-colored background though…

"Timeless" (S05E07, Stardate 52164.3) is an appropriate Voyager 100th episode. It has high concept, time travel (of a sort) big action and a little moral quandry thrown in. And making Harry and Chakotay the central figures was an interesting move that I enjoyed.
For my episode poster I wanted to capture Harry’s attempt to send a message back through time with some echoes.

"Nothing Human" (S05E06, Stardate UNKNOWN) is a high water mark for Voyager. High concept Sci-fi, Ethical quandry and moral dilemmas all wrapped up together. All this and a solid guest performance make for a fantastic hour of Star Trek.
My episode poster has the starfleet medical Caudecus dripping blood, echoing the moral dilemma presented in the episode. Is the cure worth it if there is blood on the hands of the research?

"Once Upon a Time" (S05E05, Stardate UNKNOWN) offers Neelix the chance to rise to the occasion as a godfather, and he continually makes the choice to shelter rather than parent. There is something to learn in there, but I often skip this one.
I kept this episode poster simple in concept, and featured Voyager and the Delta Flyer as pieces of a pop-up story book.

"In the Flesh" (S05E04, Stardate 52136.4) wraps a nice bow on the Species 8472 arc and allows us to explore a cold war of sorts from the 24th century. Janeway's solution is daring, but right in line with the Federation's values and Chakotay gets that second kiss.
My episode poster for features a Stafleet officer… or does it? That shadow looks conspicuous…

"Extreme Risk" (S05E03, Stardate UNKNOWN) is a decent character exploration for B'Elanna as she deals with the loss of one family. But it does a disservice to her character growth and pretends she has not already adopted Voyager as her new family along the way. Her pain is real, but there are issues.

I really like the depth that "Drone" (S05E02, Stardate UNKNOWN) gives Seven to explore, and the introduction of One as a new face onboard Voyager. The pacing could benefit from a shorter intro to One so the finale could breathe more, but the heart is all there.

"Night" (S05E01, Stardate 52081.2) is a solid start to season 5 for Voyager. We get Janeway reflecting on past choices, Chakotay being a friend and good XO, Tom being Tom and some real exploration that mimics a human condition. It breathes where it needs to and paces well.
Voyager feels lost and alone in the Void, so I wanted to try to capture that sense of loneliness for my episode poster

"Tears of the Prophets" (S06E26, Stardate UNKNOWN) is a nearly flawless season finale. The only real misfires are in the B-story with Julian's pining. We finally see what it takes to break Ben down, not just losing his connection with the Prophets, but losing a good friend as well.
I knew at the beginning of season 6 what I was going to use for my episode poster for "Tears of the Prophets." I wanted to mirror my poster for "Call to Arms," but have Sisko's baseball be missing, with the reflection still on the table. He isn't planning on coming back...

"Hope and Fear" (S04E26, Stardate 51978.2) brings back Janeway's treaty with the Borg but doesn't give the effects the weight they deserve. She gets some great moments as a Captain, but the writers short-change her in other areas. And Seven's development feels like it took a backseat for the sake of drama.
"Hope and Fear" gets a simple LCARS poster to close out season 4 featuring the Dauntless.

"The Sound of Her Voice" (S06E25, Stardate 51948.3) is a solid Trek reminder of the importance of communication - on all levels. Especially in tough times when we are dealing with so many things that take our energy and focus. That it is couched in a simple sc-fi concept makes it so much better for me.
I had a clear idea of what I wanted to feature in my episode poster for "The Sound of Her Voice" early on. Captain Lisa Cusak's worn and tatterd badge and uniform, waiting to be rescued.

"Time's Orphan" (S06E24, Stardate UNKNOWN) does not deserve its reputation. I find it to be a rather poignant episode that hits me hard as a parent. It raises a simple, yet large sci-fi concept and some real parenting issues. Plus, we get to see a family dynamic that is too often overlooked in Trek.
I had a couple of ideas for my poster. I settled on Molly's drawing because I felt it captured so much of what the heart of the Obriens' struggle was.
