The thing about Leverage is it prioritizes what it takes seriously exactly right.

It's a fun, pulpy, goofy show but it has the most nuanced, thoughtful, and lasting character development.

A love story unfolds between a socially inexperienced thief and a hacker who doesn't hesitate in his willingness to be patient and understanding as she works out her unfamiliar feelings.

Wil Wheaton gets electrocuted and you can see his skeleton like a cartoon.

A grifter has an identity crisis and embarks on a lone journey of self-discovery, to return better and more certain of herself than before.

The team invents the Holodeck so they can hack into the dreams of off-brand Steve Jobs.

It's ridiculous. It's silly. It's brilliant. I've watched every episode over a dozen times.

do u guys ever think about all the hitters with impractically long hair and how they are DEFINITELY copying Eliot. Like, maybe not all of them but definitely this guy who does Moreau's wetwork now lmao. and he tells himself its to blend better with crowds but its not, its bc he watched shaky footage of eliot spencer taking out five triad guys with his hair fluttering in the wind like a loreal commercial and it was a formative experience

I made a compilation of all of the scenes of my second favourite long-haired hitter-type Leverage character with no screen time, the unnamed sniper Moreau sent to scare Vector off from testifying.

This one with even less screen time! (38 seconds + 15 seconds of Eliot looking for and/or talking about him)

I love how in his first scene he comes off as this lanky, timid dude with a guitar, but they staged it so you can definitely tell that there's something else going on. And I love how he's so calm and unemotional. I don't know, I just think they did a great job with this character with 38 seconds of screen-time and literally zero lines.

(Of course, mostly I just love the hair, lol. Possibly more than Quinn's hair, though that may just be because they kept Quinn's hair in a bun the whole time which was very unfair of them, if you think about it. Those curls deserved to be free.)

Nate “Hardison dies in Plan M” Ford for some reason creates a plan to take down Damien Moreau in San Lorenzo that requires Eliot Spencer to spend the entire time there doing side quest tasks with Parker or cuddling with puppies. For some reason.

Re: your post about ghost general lwj, May I introduce you to the fic "Over the Rotted Bridge" by vailkagami on AO3? Lwj dies not at qiongqi but later (cql canon, trying to protect the Wens when when they surrender) and wwx indeed does not take it well. Featuring: yllz wwx, and a-yuan not quite understanding the concept of death because wen Ning and lwj did come back so there's nothing to worry about as long as Xian-gege is there! (Lxc is suffering.)

Hi! I love this place and check for new stuff at least once a week (or once a day same difference) and was hoping you could help me re-find a fic I lost. It was a time travel fic everyone went back in time and all I remember is that LWJ is a kid and he's listening to the cultivators make a plan to go after WWX (who is also a kid now) and he stands up and demands that the Lan's do something and when they don't he says something about how he's not surprised that they're still all cowards.
