This is Marsha P. Johnson, a black trans woman, who along with others, took part in Stonewall riots and is one of the reasons for Pride and rights in some countries today.

P.S I am not American but I'm not blind to racism that happens in my country(India) and other countries like America. It was difficult to see the murder of George Floyd by Derek Chauvin, a white cop. I stand with all the blm protestors. RIP George Floyd and every black person who has been murdered because of their colour. RIP Marsha P Johnson and all the black people who have fought for their rights.

My Dream Last Night :

I'm on a family trip to a coastal place in the country. We are on a bus and I'm looking outside the window to see how pleasant it is. I notice a hotel at a distance located around a kilometre from the ocean. The beach behind the hotel is just like any other beach in the country, with coconut trees, colorful boats, and mildly clear water but I still get excited. The bus stops at the very hotel and my family tells me that this is where we'll be staying at.

I reach my room. It doesn't have the swiping card system so I use the door's handle to go inside. A boy sitting on the edge of the bed and reading a book. I'm a little confused and the thought of being in the wrong room doesn't occur to me. I keep moving towards the bed and see that it's Paul Mescal. He looks up from his book and nods at me.

He's still a celebrity in my dream and surprisingly, I'm calm. I place my luggage on the floor beside the nightstand and start searching for my phone to ask him for a picture. I realize later that my phone is with my mother. There is not a single word spoken between Paul and me, there is only the acknowledgment of our existence at this moment and it's beautiful.

I leave the hotel room to find my mother. As I'm looking for her, my surroundings are gradually changing. The plot of my dream has changed. I'm still on a family trip but it's a different place. I do find my mother eventually but something is keeping me from asking her for my phone. Its now not about the picture with a celebrity. I want to meet him again and talk to him because it seems like he's a good listener and will tell me that it's going to be okay. Paul is always in the back of my head during the remainder of my dream but it's impossible to go back . We are in different worlds now and can never meet again.
