This is a goodbye!

I just decided that this is the end and I won’t post stuff here anymore. It's over now. 

It’s been over ten years of my life and it’s been incredible and crazy and absolutely wild. I loved it and I will be forever thankful for the people I’ve met through this blog and the posts that inspired me in some way. But this doesn’t feel like home anymore and that’s okay. I’m happy and ready to move on to a new chapter.

Wishing you all the best and lots of love and happiness and sunshine and a good life because you are all incredible people and you deserve nothing but the best! I hope you always believe in yourself and hopefully you try to stay positive :-)

I’m proud that I was able to brighten someones day and to put a smile on someones face. That’s all I’ve ever wanted.

I won’t delete this blog, so feel free to scroll through it and be inspired and find hope and happiness in the future.

hey, I'm the person who sent post/113899145201 about 5 years ago. I wanted to say thank you for your words there. things are p much the same & it hasnt really gotten better, just barely; but i had saved that post & been reading your response to my ask every now & then because your kindness meant too much to me. So just wanted to say I'm still alive & thank you for being such a sweet individual. I hope life is treating you well, you deserve it.

Oh hi there! Thank you very much for your message! I think it’s so sweet of you to stop by and to share your story again and knowing that my word helped you in some ways and still have a meaning for you means really much to me! 

Also I’m very happy that you are still alive and even when there are just little changes, life isn’t the same as 5 years ago. Wow, what a long time..

I hope you don’t mind if I share some of my thoughts with you. The main thing that I want to say is still: Stay! Not because you should have a hard life or less money or exhausting work shifts - you absolutely deserve the opposite - but because life can change in a second. Sometimes life doesn’t work out the way we want it, sometimes we have to wait a little bit longer but there are always changes and the future will be different than we expect right now.

Sadness, loss, trauma etc. is a part of life and the days will never be just only filled with happiness and bright colours for the rest of your lifes. The sun always comes with shadow. And that’s okay. Sometimes we stand in the sun and sometimes we stand in the shadow. But during a very hot day you are thankful for the shadow. And sometimes we are just one single step away from the sun.

For me a good life isn’t the richest and happiest life. It’s the little things that count so much more. It’s super rainy here today, so I’m thankful for my warm blanket. For the birds chirping in the morning. For less traffic on my way to work. For a warm and delicious meal. For my friends and family. Look around and I’m sure you will find one or two things each day that are good. Focus on them. And keep fighting and hoping for a better future.

I hope life will treat you well, because you deserve it too.
