It’s so easy to jump into a relationship if we are not careful. Hormones being what they are, if we do not have a strong moral compass, you will get swept up in the whirlwind of desire. When this happens, your future will be wholly dependent on how well you can navigate the emotional roller coaster of building a real friendship and developing a real commitment for a long term relationship.
Take your time in getting to know who you are interested in. In most cases, if someone rushes to sexual intimacy with you, they will most likely not be interested in you as much as they are interested about their personal agenda. Take it slow.

I have seen two extremely busy people find ample time to make it work.
.
I have witnessed two people meeting online and chatting for hours, and neither of them liked texting.
I’ve also watched two people who were terrible communicators work through conflict, personality differences, and insecurities to make it work.

I have seen two people on two different continents persevere through years of conversation and hopes and dreams to come together against all odds.
.
And, I have sat in amazement as I have watched two of the most unlikely, inexperienced, awkward teenagers spin out of control until they finally slammed into each other, got married and are still together 45 years later.
.
The point to this short essay? If two people want to be with one another badly enough, they will both make the time and put in the effort - no matter what - to make love happen for them.

Sometimes relationships are best if they just end. Most relationships end up failing because two people let their hormones drive the relationship instead of building a friendship first. If both people don’t realize the need to go deep with one another, the relationship will eventually dissolve. If you are willing to go deep and your love interest is not … for whatever the reason … it may be time to move on.
