Could you maybe do a Dean x reader where she's short (I'm unfortunatly just past 5 ft) and got teased really bad growing up so she wears heels even on hunts (boots) and mayby he gets rid of all her shoes cuz he's afraid she may break an ankle, que angsty insecure scene, pretty please with pie on top
Hi lovely!
It has been ages since I have written anything for the SPN fandom, and I'm not sure if I'll ever fall back into that headspace again. I'll have to pass on this one, but thanks for thinking of me to write it ❤️

I just reread Seeing the Horizon again, and it got me all up in my feels – just such a beautiful, powerful work. It’s perfect as it is, don’t get me wrong! But would you ever consider writing an epilogue/timestamp, even if it’s set years or decades later, where he finds her again? And maybe this time he comes to stay, or brings her to the bunker to stay? They’ve both been through so much, I would love to see these two get a happy ending. Anyway, it’s just a thought. Thank you for being such an incredible and emotion-provoking writer!
Thank you for the love for my words ❤️ It's been ages since I've written anything, and seeing people jump back on this story again has given me so much joy today.
As for an epilogue... I have thought about it. My brain has even begun to craft one several times, but I've only ever gotten a few lines in and then hit a wall. I think a large part of me likes that each reader can create a personal epilogue of their own in their mind, knowing that Dean didn't actually forever die like he thought he was going to at the end of Chapter 7 when he told her goodbye. There are quite a few paths it could go, and the open-ended ending lets each person decide what route they'd prefer to take. So even though there is a pretty solid outline of what happens a few years down the road in my head... I think I'll continue to let you guys decide how that journey ends.

Thank you for reblogging my story, lovely ❤️ I hope you enjoy it; this one was one of my all time favorites to write :)
Seeing the Horizon: Chapter 1
Overview: A friend you were never expecting to have helps you see things in a new light.
Characters: Blind!Reader x Dean
Word Count: 1,985
Warnings: mild language, blind character, fruit as projectiles
A/N: This series is different than what I’ve written in the past, and I’m really excited for all the potential this character holds :) It’s going to take me an eternity to write it all, but I’m thankful for all of you lovelies who are with me on this adventure.
Beta’d by my sole sister @wheresthekillswitch: “eeeeeeee…. This is so good!”
and my sunflower @deanssweetheart23: “UM YES YES YES YES YES YES YES * grabby hands * ”
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
“Hi.”
My head stays bent over my book, one finger skimming the page. My lack of acknowledgment is evident, a usual deterrent, but-
“Hey,” he clears his throat, and the chair beside me scrapes as he pulls it from under the table. I hear a small creak as he settles into the worn, blue plastic, feel his presence grow closer as he leans forward. “I’m-“
“I know who you are.” I nonchalantly flip to the next page of my book and resettle my finger there.

So glad you found your way back to my story! I hope you enjoy it, lovely ❤️
Bite Me (Part I)
Tumblr media
Characters: Reader, Sam, Dean (no pairings as of yet!)
Warnings: Minor character deaths, violence, the occasional swear word
Overview: You were raised in the hunter life. You fell out of it. It wasn’t your choice to get pulled back in.
Word Count: 1,436
A/N: This is my first ever fanfic. It’s a slow burn all around thanks to my inability to write without sounding like the opening of a biography. Thank you @wheresthekillswitch for giving me the baby push that I needed to put this out there. Received well or not, I’m four chapters in and have no plans to stop. These words, like everything else I write, are for me. Feel free to join me in the adventure.
What overloaded my senses the most was the drastic change from warmth to a harsh cold. Goosebumps were immediate in forming on my skin.
Had the power gone out again?
My arm extended towards the foot of my bed, searching for the soft fabric of my blanket. My fingers were met with a scratchy sheet right about the time that the smell of mildew and…was that sour meat?… hit my nose.
My brain kicked in.
This wasn’t my bed.
This isn’t my room.
Unsurprisingly, this wasn’t the first time I had been in a situation like this. What was surprising is that I couldn’t remember how I had gotten here.
“I think she’s awake.”
The voice made me freeze in place, and I stilled the shivers that had been slowly increasing in magnitude, cursing myself for not wearing socks to bed with a knife tucked into the side. That’s what my uncle had trained me do. In the five years that he had been gone, I had let the habit slowly slip. I had let myself start to believe that I was safe. Like an idiot.

had an absolute feral reaction to the idea of jess discovering that sam has very little experience of basic things.
ex: sam has never had homemade cookies, he’s never had a casserole, he’s never actually watched an entire tv show, he has never owned a bike, he’s never been in an indoor pool, he’s never eaten peaches that didn’t come from a can, etc and at first she just thinks sam had a rough childhood. it’s not that uncommon or weird for kids to live in household under poverty line and miss on some stuff.
but then she slowly realises it goes deeper than when she takes him to meet her parents for the first time and her dad tries to play alpha male by egging sam on when he mentions his father was a marine and they all watch, baffled, as sam empties the clip of mr moore’s alpha male handgun into the dead center of a paper target. and jess stars to wonder what type of life sam winchester might have lead, one where he’s never owned two pairs of shoes but where he keeps a silver knife in his bedside table.

oh and as said magic moment episode gets closer, I will jump/skip through scenes I don’t care about in episodes leading up to it so that I’m still in the know about the entirety of the plot but GOD I NEED THE MAGIC MOMENT EPISODE GIVE IT TO ME
one of my toxic traits is starting a new show that’s already released a few seasons, shipping two characters, googling if/when they get together, then relentlessly binging episodes until my shipped characters finally have their moment

Broken Heels (III / III)
Tumblr media
Request: “There’s a protective Dean and Sam some kind of thing. They’re friends with fem!reader, a shy and graceful girl. A long time ago the brothers took her in and a deep friendship was born. She only helps with research because she suffers from a heart failure, which leads to her being often dizzy nauseated and breathless. The brother care for her and always keep an eye out on her. Dean is secretly in love with her and vice versa. But neither of them admits it. One night Dean brings home some of his flings and the girl is really cruel to the reader…. Reader spirals into a rabbit hole, taking the things the bitch said to her to heart…. And shit hits the fan?! Some angst, drama and fluff, protective Winchesters.” - by anon
Word Count: 2,120
Warnings: language, negative self-talk, heated/arguing conversation, angst, fluff
A/N: I broke this request into two three parts because it ended up being much longer than expected. This last part took me forever to finish, still not sure I love how it turned out but here it is. No beta, all mistakes are mine, please message me if you see any! Watercolor heart from the header image credit.

xxxxxxxxxx
You’re not really sure where he’s driving you, because it’s not back to the town you were hunting in, and it’s not towards home, either. It feels aimless, like he’s picking turns at random for the sake of the familiarness of being behind the wheel, like it’s the only thing that’s grounding him right now. The sun has made its venture into the sky, climbing with each passing minute and painting the wisps of clouds in orange and pink. The quiet in the car is becoming unbearable, the inevitable conversation that’s about to take place encroaching with each passing second.
You decide to just go for it, like that first jump into a cold pool. Just get it over with. It’s either that or tuck and roll out the passenger door. Though…the latter option might prove to be less painful when all is said and done.
“So…” you start quietly, “where’s Sam?”
“Oh, Sam’s still working on the case.” Every word is wrapped in frustration. His jaw is tight, fingers gripping the wheel with more force than necessary. You don’t have to check for a speed limit sign to know that he’s exceeding it.
“You left Sam?”

Does anyone else ever get really caught up thinking about how in the very first episode, there's a scene where Sam dives off of a bridge to duck out of the way of an incoming possessed Impala charging at him and Dean? And Sam's limber and youthfully agile, and deftly maneuvers onto a ledge, and it's clear he'd planned on doing that. That he'd mentally calculated that, before taking the spiraling leap. But Dean just saw Sam jump, and then jumped right after him. And a woman literally committed suicide springing herself from that bridge, so presumedly, it was one nasty tumble of a fall that had the potential to be fatal had Dean not been so robust (or likely practiced in falling). But Dean just hauls his mud-soaked body to shore and hollers up to Sam that he's okay. And walks it off like the champ he is with a pain tolerance only seconded by that legendary heavyweight liver. Like. It was the very first episode. The writers did that. In the pilot.
They literally said, "If Sam jumped off a bridge, Dean would jump right on after him without a second thought." And they really set the tone for the rest of the show with that one scene, didn't they?

Hello lovely,
I saw (with great excitement) that your requests are open. Maybe I'm lucky and you like my idea 🙏🥰
Dean and fem reader are on their way back to the bunker, after a hunt. From the beginning Dean was in a bad mood, cause he couldn't drive with baby, because his beloved vehicle needs an urgent repair, but the hunt couldn't wait that long, so they rent a car. On their way home they get into a bad snow storm, to that point that another car run them down into a ditch. So they have to wait for help. Because of his bad mood and him constantly snapping at her, she doesn't tell him that she was hurt during the hunt (a concussion). Due to the accident on the road she has now also a bleeding wound at her ribcage.
So they need to survive the cold night, but Dean in his bad mood doesn't notice at first that she's severely hurt. We see a grumpy and unfair Dean who constantly snaps at his normally beloved friend (friends to lovers trope?! 🥰 I know I know, there are a lot this stories, but I can't get enough of it xD) who develops to a care taking and worried friend, who tried everything to protect his injured girl.
What do you think? =) thanks for your writing ❤️
Hey there!
My requests are indeed open, but I'm currently a bit swamped with life and don't think I have the time to give this request the detail it deserves/you requested. I think it's a super cute idea and I love the combination of angst/hurt reader/snuggles/caring Dean/fluff. It's my kind of word burrito, for sure. It does sound like you have a good hold on the plot you're looking for...have you considered giving it a go? I would have never written and posted my first fic if it wasn't for a dear friend encouraging me to do so. You might surprise yourself with what you can write, and I'd love to read it if you do post (tag meeeee). Sorry I'm not available for this one, love!
