Oh fuck off, it ain’t a misspelling, it’s colloquial/dialect and perfectly valid in informal contexts. Source: I’m Texan. Not like I’m making it completely illegible like some writers do because they can’t trust their readers to imagine an accent without every bit of it being spelled phonetically.

Y’know, the suggestions weren’t this bad back when I was still using iOS 14. Since I was forced to update to 16, I’ve been getting shit like this more often, and it’s stopped liking me attaching an apostrophe S to Japanese names—whether possessive or a contraction with “is.” Instead of stuff like “Haijima’s gaze,” it wants me to put “Haijima gaze,” as if that makes any fucking sense. I hate iOS 16, I wanna switch back…

Aya is a friend’s or relative’s kid whom Kunikida looks after sometimes. One of the days he’s got her coincides with a tennis tournament, and she wants to go to see “Ryouma-san.” Kunikida figures she means Echizen Ryouma, the rising-star “Prince of Tennis,” but no. She means Shinjou Ryouma.

That’s all I’ve got so far, but I’m just imagining Aya sitting on Kunikida’s shoulders while they watch Ryouma’s match, cheering him on and oblivious (or maybe not so, after a bit) to how Kunikida’s mesmerized by him.

I need to figure out how they’d actually meet, because I really wanna write for this AU (idk I just really like the idea of Ryouma continuing to play tennis, though regulation rather than soft tennis). Aya probably has something to do with it; she’s the scheming type, ain’t she.

I’m enbyboiwonder or EBW, pen name Danny Bartosz, a hobbyist traditional artist and fic-writer in their twenties, as well as a collector of rarepairs and a lover of headcanoning my faves as trans/nonbinary/genderqueer. And letting guys wear skirts and dresses. I gotta learn to draw bodies again…

In years past, I’ve been known on this site as: wishing-on-the-moon, melsbancroft, actualkunikida, enbyspacemonkey, gaymalcolmreid, and enbyreid. (Possibly others that I’m forgetting; I used to change URLs somewhat often, though since I remade, I haven’t at all. And even if I end up picking a new chosen name again, my pen name will stay the same. This is my brand now.)

I’ll read/watch pretty much any genre of animanga, but my favorite is sports, and though I love a good sports shounen as much as the next guy, I particularly love sports dramas—like, to absolutely no one’s surprise, 2.43 Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get back into BSD, but I’ll likely still be drawing and writing Kunikida every now and then, interspersed with the other random fandoms my 2.43 hyperfixation will sometimes let me create for, because I will never stop loving him.
