Still Don't Think Adrien (or Kagami) are Sentimonsters

Quite honestly, I think Felix sees anyone that lives a life like his own to be like him, so he feels a form of affection for them. And cares about what makes them happy in life, or who makes them happy. Felix was controlled by his father as a sentimonster, he knew he was one and it made him feel awful and unlike everyone else. Alone. Adrien is just plain controlled by his own father, never living the life he wants to, forced to do things that make him unhappy unless it suits his own wants and needs. Used and abused. Alone. What Kagami told Felix today (and seeing her ring that symbolizes her family) let him know that she too is just like him. In her family, they take orders. Sounds like willingly, but I don't know about that. Kagami has been disobedient in the past though. But she spent her whole life up until very recently....Feeling different. Unwanted. Alone. Perfection covered this for a reason. All three of them are the same. Maybe they aren't all actually human, but that doesn't really matter, not to Felix. I actually think this shows that it doesn't matter where you're from, what you are, or if your family's wealthy. If you live the same struggles as someone else completely different from you in every other way, you have a unique bond and can be there for each other. I think this is really very interesting and want to see more of where this is going.

Well we're seeing the whole jumbled mess start to take place now, and honestly the reaction of these two in this scene versus how they acted in Determination just makes everything feel so different lol And it's only been a few months in-universe!

Jubilation

Since I didn't write a thoughts and reactions post about it when it first came out (it was subbed by that night but couldn't watch until extremely late), I'm just saying my thoughts now. My favorite ship has been Ladynoir for a veeeery long time. Which means this episode hurt pretty badly to finally see them both express love for each other, but can't be together. Not to mention their very clear pain. Oof ;-; But I'm a patient person. The cabbage patch dolls while creepy, really help you see this is just a dream and not to let you get too attached to the idea (yet). Also I've seen a lot of posts about how it's weird they got married when they're like 14. With 4 kids. Yes, that's kind of the point. For it to be weird and not seem real. Why would they give us a grown up Ladybug and Chat Noir which they've clearly been saving for us for something special in the future, for a fantasy moment? Yet those two being together in the end is their dream in that moment, so married in their fantasy they are! When you're a young teenager like that, you don't picture yourself married to your crush as grown adults, it's hard to considering you don't know what you'll look like after all! You picture the you now but in the future when you're an adult. It all makes perfect sense. As far as the kids go... we all remember Marinette was dreaming of having 3 kids with Adrien in season 1 don't we? There's really not a difference here besides those dreams having shifted onto Chat Noir now. Also it's very common for girls to dream of those things when they're that age, so I think a lot of people are seeing what's going on in this episode through some really weird lenses. At the end I was happy they talked about the dream in the end there. While it wasn't how we would've liked it to go, it's a start to what's needed to continue on from here. She's realizing how she feels about Chat but knows she can't do anything about it now. He's going to start realizing that he can't keep holding out this hope for her because it's just so painful, so he'll start to really open his eyes and realize how he feels about Marinette (which he's already started doing, thankfully). But we're sure going to be in for a ride!

It's always been impossible for me to avoid spoilers due to the fact on all platforms people can't mark their spoilers properly, so the past month or so with the intense amount of spoilers I've been hesitant to look at and ultimately having to see, has been actually painful. And kind of cruel considering how long we have had to and will still have to wait for the spoilers to air in an episode xD Now today we get another trailer where Adrien talks about how beautiful Marinette is and how he's in love, and tells her he loves her the way she is, and she says she doesn't love him? I mean we know the reason for this but geez. This poor boy's heart is gonna break! ADRIENETTE ANGST IS NOT WHAT I PICTURED HAPPENING IN THIS SHOW at least not before the reveal And then don't get me started on Luka. He's going to do what he can to help these two dorks since he knows who they are, but he's looking sooo shady doing so 😂 When I wanted Luka to make Adrien jealous back in S2, I wanted it for S2 and S3. Not when our boy's finally totally in love with her XD But I'm so going to enjoy this.

I didn't write a Thoughts & Reactions post to S5 E1 Evolution because I was still sick. Buuuut I might write one for E2 if you guys want it! It'll have to be tomorrow though, one downside to Gloob airing the episodes all the time is it's late for me when the subs finally come out. And by the time I've seen the episode I'm absolutely exhausted!

Hey, have you seen the season 5 premiere of Miraculous yet? If so, do you believe this is the beginning of the end for Gabriel?

I did! I also just saw Multiplication too! I do think it'll be the beginning of the end for Gabrriel, it looks like something will swoop in and take his current success away from him. I think Ladybug and Chat Noir will get most of the Miraculous back, but Lila and Felix will outsmart him and get the Moth in the end, so both pairs will be his absolute downfall, one out of greed and selfishness (and possibly evil is going on there too) while the other pair's working to protect and save the world. I've thought from the beginning that Gabriel will fail to wake up Emilie and Ladybug will come in with Chat Noir (though likely Adrien at that point will know who she is) and will find a way to save her. Now since Feast came out, I thought the monks would have the solution to it. Who else would be more knowledgeable on healing the affects of a broken Miraculous, likely having seen it all, than the guardians of all the Miraculous for who knows how many hundreds or thousands of years? So while Gabriel's goal will have been reached, he would fail doing so. He just wouldn't have all his deeds erased like I believe he's been hoping for. He's done despicable things, things that Emilie might not approve of, which would explain why he's so adamant about erasing their reality for a new one instead of simply focusing on ways to wake her up. Of course, not to mention his hatred for Ladybug and Chat Noir being a factor in his decision too. Gabriel seems to not want simple, and he doesn't want to settle. He wants it exactly the way he wants it, and thus he'll always fail.

Why Adrien isn't a Sentimonster Pt 2

I've been wanting to write this little post for a long time but I've been so busy I just haven't had time. I'm sure it's been said by now, maybe I've even said it before, buuut. After Risk and Strike Back, well, it's pretty much confirmed Felix is a sentimonster right? So let's look back on what we know of how Felix moves, acts, etc vs how Adrien moves, acts, etc. In "Felix", when we saw Felix dodge the attacks from Reflekta, Princess Fragrance, and Lady Wifi, literally the first words that came out of my mouth were: "Is that boy even human?!" because the way he moved was inhuman and creepy. Eugh. We all know humans don't move like that, real life or in the show. Have you seen someone else in the show move like that? Does Adrien move like that? No. And apparently he's had martial arts training, so that can't be given as a reason Felix can do it but Adrien couldn't. In "Gabriel Agreste" we saw Felix pick up a chair and toss it like it was nothing. While the kids in this show seem to be a bit stronger than real life kids (example: they can pick up, hold, or carry each other usually effortlessly) I don't think they can pick up a heavy chair over their heads and throw it like it weighs nothing. Have we seen anyone else in this show not suited up lift heavy things so effortlessly and toss them just as easily? Has Adrien done that? No. I get the feeling they were trying to have us make comparisons of Felix vs. Adrien so we'd suspect Felix was a sentimonster over Adrien from the start, to show us that something's been off about Felix more than just his personality and motives.

THOUGHTS AND REACTION TO STRIKE BACK

I was not ever going to be prepared for this episode. I ended up watching it at 1:30 AM like an idiot where I had to try to keep myself silent. That was unbelievably difficult. Also couldn't sleep after either. Never going to attempt again. But here's another really long reaction, enjoy! "I'm ready to risk everything to not lose Adrien!" Ahh, see that's what we heard in the synopsis for this episode months ago! Lesson learned: when they tell us something big like that in a synopsis, it's not going to be anything like we think it'll be, which is why they tell us something so huge ahead of time. "I hope so with all my heart" okay Lila, you know very well that Adrien doesn't say stuff like that to you. Not sus about it at all? Felix really wants that Peacock Miraculous o.o Everyone's taking risks for likes on social media. If that doesn't reflect the way people are in real life and how dumb it is.... Lol Chat Noir and Ladybug bickering like an old married couple.

"Oh yeah? Would you risk knowing who I really am behind my mask?" "You know very well that-" "Our identities have to remain secret, I know. So why do you know the identities of the other holders, why not me?" "I already told you! If I knew who you were, Shadow Moth would only need to akumatize me to get to you! I'm doing this to protect you." "I don't need you to protect me, we'll never be akumatized!"

Oh another one of those PTSD moments to show us that that episode had a huge impact on her, particularly her mental state. You just had to go there, didn't you, Chat? READ BETWEEN THE LINES, KITTY. SHE'S PROTECTING YOU BECAUSE SHE CARES ABOUT YOU. AND LOVES YOU. No wait, that's really true. AND LOVES YOU. Just won't admit it still. She's seen terrible things that would traumatize most people! I think we're getting to the point where she's going to have to tell him. If he knew, he would have a completely different look on the matter. If he knew how much Chat Blanc clearly haunts her, he'd stop pushing it. I mean, it seems every decision this season she's made that's pushed him away, where she got aggressive towards him and said things that were mean and she probably shouldn't have, including Glaciator 2 where everyone was pushing them being a couple... It was because she doesn't even want to think of Chat Noir in that way because of Chat Blanc. Remember, she never denied it when Chat Blanc was saying their love did this. Never once did she say, "That's impossible, I don't love you" or get irritated about it. It's because she knows it's possible, she knows she could love him. And she knows that that could lead to something like Chat Blanc happening where he's murdered everyone and is lost and alone in a crazed akumatized state. "You don't know what you're talking about!" "Maybe because you never talk to me about anything!" He's got you there... Can we really blame her though for not wanting to tell him? Oh hey Chat Noir, I just wanted you to know that I was brought to a future timeline where we were in love, you knew my identity and I knew yours, and something happened where you thought I didn't love you, so you got akumatized and ended up killing me, Hawk Moth, and really the entire global population because you also blew up the moon. And then were left akumatized, crazy, and alone overlooking everything underwater. But the current me managed to save you. Obviously when she tells him she may need to be a bit more gentle with how she words it, but I can see why she'd want to keep information that he murdered everyone from him. Saying he did get akumatized before, he'd ask questions or know she's keeping info from him about it. I think it's an all or nothing situation, and saying nothing's not working out well either. He's going to have to know. WAIT, her saying "Nice one, Rena!" was a risk? Hmm. Well for his sake, it's helping get secrets out that he needs to know... So technically there's still just one sentimonster, it's just been duplicated. However their "Strike back!" creeps me out. I remember watching Sentibubbler and how she told Nino anyway, and Nino asked if it was okay. I knew that'd come back to bite them. Ugh. Rena is such a good spy, figuring out that mark and all. She saved Ladybug and Chat Noir earlier when they were too busy fighting. "Blind! We were blind." That line gets me, it's intense. "She will doubt everything! And above all, herself!" He's figuring her out :O Ahh Chat Noir, that affect Risk is having on him. Things wouldn't have gotten so bad if it didn't steal his Cataclysm, which is what she was worried about. Of course she knows he can help, but you can't be giving Cataclysm to a sentimonster... Lucky Charm: Go back to the past! Ugh it's so sad. Adrien is a good person to go with, we all know this. Problem is, she doesn't know he's already there so the one she'd be giving it to is Felix. I've said before during Ephemeral that it'd be perfect if she knew about him but not also him about her. And if that was the case, this wouldn't be happening right now. But it has to happen this way as it's how it's meant to.... I'm over here proud she's talking to him perfectly fine while under the illusion it's Adrien she's talking to and not Felix, but at the same time I'm disgusted this is happening at all. xD ALSO PENYBUG IS SO PRETTY!!! "Hi I'm Barkk!" AND HER TAIL WAGS AND EVERYTHING ;-; I'm so sad rn. She's too smart and cute to have to deal with this. Ladybug all like, oh we got the

akumatized object, we've got this! Comes back to the present to everything on fire and destroyed. AND SEES HER KITTY IN TROUBLE AND BEGS WHO SHE THINKS IS ADRIEN TO HURRY FOR HIS SAKE ;-; "Awesome, well done! You did what needed to be done on your first try! I knew you were the one I needed, you really are the best Adri- I mean..." "Pound it!" Oh Chat, those words were intended for you, please remember them! That look she's giving Flairmidable, that's for you tooooo! "I feel like from now on, nothing can stop me!" GIRL, do you not hear how that doesn't sound like Adrien??? No? Ladybug being all "YES MY TWO FAVORITE BOYS IN THE WHOLE WORLD GET TO MEET AND WORK TOGETHER, I'M SO HAPPY! Come on, get along please! :D" is honestly so adorable and cute but like... wouldn't it be better if they were the same boy, Marinette? 👀 She cares so much about Chat Noir that it excited her that they get to spend time together. Chat Noir scooted away a little bit after that handshake I can't, he absolutely hates this XD "You're going to be spending a loooooot of time together now that he's joined the team...forever :D" Er...I can't blame her for being excited at all, but girl no, he's not who you think 😅 The other heroes be like: um, why is Ladybug acting like Marinette? LB: "I'll open a portal for the sentimonsters to fall into!" Flairmidable: "A portal where?" LB: "To some place they can never hurt anyone again." "Flairmidable: "Hmm" "I'm sorry" Sentimonster Felix. Except my brain still debating that fact. I mean it makes it so obvious right, however with what we know about Sentimonsters and how they pretty much obey the person that holds the amok, how is it that Felix turned out so...so... bad. So devious and selfish. I also don't understand his strong desire to have the Peacock Miraculous. If he's a sentimonster, the object his amok is in is what he wants to have in his possession, not the Miraculous. Ladybug could control SentiLadybug and Sentibubbler without the Miraculous. Unless he's afraid that someone will use that Miraculous to end him. Even so, he still needs that object in a safe place because it simply getting broken will release it. People think it's the rings, but he wouldn't be so willing to hand that over to him. I think I need more answers to these questions, things just don't quite add up to me so I don't know what to believe fully. Alya gave her Miraculous up. I don't know if this was a stupid move or a great move. x.x I'm leaning towards smart just because it'd make her such a horrible target now, but still she did so much to help! xPP Felix being a horrible person. You know what, if he's a sentimonster and he's unhappy with the way sentimonsters are treated, maybe just maybe, he should look at himself and realize people would like him and wouldn't think badly of sentimonsters if he didn't act like such a monster. He pretty much guaranteed that Paris and who knows where all else is going to be tortured relentlessly and maybe even worse. If citizens have died/almost died because of just Hawk Moth and his villains, what's he going to be able to do with 16 Miraculous and only 2 heroes going up against him? His only redeeming quality to me was how he seems to care about Emilie so much, but like Gabriel, that's not good enough for me at this point. "If I wanted to harm you uncle, I would've done it a long time ago." Er, okay how? o.o Ladybug's panic attack and her hyperventilating. I just. It's amazingly well done and adds so much to the show. But I was not prepared to have to see her like that, that hurt way too much! I'm glad it was with Adrien of all people, so he knows. This has all been so much she's had to deal with mostly on her own. She had Alya to help her, but now she doesn't really have that anymore but someone to talk to about things. "I don't know anymore! What if it's a trap? What if you're Felix?!" Well logically, he couldn't be because her yoyo was just stolen in front of them both, and only Felix could take it while transformed. But she's not thinking straight at all Dx ALSO HOW SAD IS

IT THAT IF SHE JUST IMMEDIATELY DETRANSFORMED, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE 😭😭😭 Ladybug sure left quickly o.o But I'm glad it worked out that way, she needs her Kitty more than anyone else x3 "From now on I will be attacking you relentlessly! I will be everywhere, probing your thoughts, stealing your dreams, harnessing your deepest fears. Whatever damage I can cause, I will not stop! UNLESS someone brings me Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous!" Scary as HECK but also I just hear that this means he's going to go totally insane with the overuse of all the Miraculous at once. Your choice, Hawky. ALSO I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY FELIX! HOW DARE YOU HAVE THE SAME FACE AS MY PRECIOUS CINNAMON ROLL! 😡I don't care his reasons, I really don't. He's no victim in any way to do this! "I've lost everything!" "You haven't lost me." "Why don't you just give up on me? I've lost all the Miraculous, I'm the worst guardian ever! I wanted to control everything, I didn't listen to you, I lied to you, I kept you at a distance! Every time you offered me a helping hand, I never took it. I really made a mess of everything!" "M'lady..." AS HE OFFERS HER HIS HAND! THIS IS WHY HE'S HER PARTNER! Because despite it all, no matter what she says or does or why she does them and whether or not he knows the reasons, he'll still be there for her without question. COUP DE FOUDRE?! It's the same kind of scene! THE SAME LOOK ON HER FACE! And she's accepting his help now! Which I hope means she'll tell him about the things she didn't want to before. Now it's just them again, she needs him! "We're going to get them back one by one, until the very last. We'll make sure this never happens again!" S5 plot right here! A lot of Ladynoir time getting those Miraculous back x333 "You...and me?" "You, the best superhero there ever was. Them, the people of Paris. ...And me, your loyal partner." I'm CRYING!!! THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL! This ending is just... beyond wow. It's beautiful, the writing's amazing, Chat Noir's so cool. IS IT TIME FOR SEASON 5 YET?! PLEASE?! The ending is very satisfying but also I need to see things get better because these kids have been through so much pain. I need to see Hawk Moth defeated because this is just beyond disgusting at this point what he's doing. I need to see Ladynoir/Adrienette get closer and finally end up together please. Here's hoping July really is the premiere of S5, if not sooner somehow!

Strike Back Trailer thoughts

Uhhhhhhh I- This looks amazing This apocalyptic scene is so cool and all the heroes! But the two things that make me go 👀 It looks like Adrien is getting a Miraculous. I see everyone being like oh it's Felix. And I mean it could be? BUT Marinette does go back in time. All her classmates, her friends, they're all there and suited up. All except Adrien. (And Alix but Ladybug knows who she's going to become later) She could have gone back in time before he leaves and brought him to her present. Chat Noir and whatever superhero he'd be could both exist. But lol that'd be so weird for past and current Adrien to be like oh hello... Adrien and Chat Noir are totally not the same person. I do prefer this over Felix getting it because he's pretending to be Adrien :/ The other thing... of course, is the ending with Ladybug and Chat Noir.

I want to see this as her finally realizing her feelings for Chat Noir, but I'm afraid to get my hopes up xDD But that is what I think is going on here. I mean she's insanely blushing and teary. We've seen the progression. In Ephemeral, she couldn't get used to the idea of Adrien being Chat without Luka giving her that nudge. That episode was a way of telling us, she's almost there but not yet. We're seeing Adrien starting to actually express his feelings for her more forwardly, and here we have Ladybug seemingly starting to realize those feelings for Chat Noir as well. This is how you know we're getting our Love Square soon. Not a reverse Love Square, but them accepting and loving the other side of the one they love without knowing that that's what they're doing. Just thinking about it...AHHHH 😭😭😭 Ugh what a beautiful shot. And of course, it's going to end on some kind of cliffhanger! Likely one that has to do with their relationship. :P (Oh S5 please get here soon lol) I'm both so excited and a bit scared too. It looks like things go well in the end there, but after so many years of watching these two dorks, them actually getting to a place where they will probably be together without any take backs... I'd worry about what all will happen that'll challenge their relationship when they've already gone through so much to get here. But it'll be so wonderful to see.
