Hey Sonics!
How is everyone doing?  I had my first Pfizer vaccine yesterday so I'm taking it a little easier today.  The music production for the next single is done and has been sent to Wee Scots Poet for him to weave his words.
In today's quickie production breakdown, we're going to put together all the various elements we went through with the Acid Synth in the last few videos.

Hey Sonics!
How is everyone doing?  Has the week started well?   I hope so! In today's quickie behind-the-scenes production breakdown, we have a bit of a teaser for tomorrow's weekly Tobisonics episode; using the United Plugins Orbitron to add depth, movement, width, and some analog flavor to the acid synth in the breakdown.
Tune into tomorrow's weekly video for a more detailed breakdown of how I use the Orbitron in my new single, "All The Little Things" with Wee Scots Poet.

Hello, Hello,
How is everyone doing?  I'm running late.  It took a bit of time to dig out this week's 21; a lot of good tracks, but very similar in mood/feel, making it tricky to build a playlist of shifting contrasts.
We got there in the end.  We also passed 4k followers/likes this week.  A big thank you to everyone who stops by to listen to the playlist; in particular, our core of regular listeners that listen week in, week out.

Hey Sonics!
How is everyone doing?  I hope you all had a good weekend and the week has started well for each and every one of you.  In this week's episode, we're taking a look at the latest upgrade of Fabfilter's delay plugin, Timeless 3.
In honesty, although I have used Timeless 2 in productions, I find the interface fussy and difficult to work with; so, before I buy the upgrade, I need to know that the new Timeless 3 interface is intuitive and easy to use.  And I need to know what the Timeless 3 will bring to my productions that is different from what I already have.
In order to make this a real-world test, we'll be breaking open the production for my latest single, "All The Little Things" and seeing how the Fabfilter Timeless 3 stacks up in a direct comparison with the existing production.
If you'd like to hear the production in context, why not have a listen...

Hey Sonics!
Take a moment to read this interview I did with Indie Music Discovery.  I talk about the motivation behind Tobisonics, making sense of depression, the challenges of being a grassroots music maker, and the importance of getting involved with the independent music scene.

Hey Sonics!
How's it going?  Nearly at the weekend.  Just one more day to go.  It's been a busy week of submitting "All The Little Things" to all the radio stations on the planet - few more to go, yet.
Have you caught the new single?

Hey Sonics!
How is everyone doing on this fine Wednesday?  I was working on a new disco production this morning.  It's starting to come together.  I transposed the bassline from E to F# and that really helped to sit the bass right.  Hopefully, it'll be out in the summer!
In the meantime, have you caught my new single, "All The Little Things" with Wee Scots Poet?
In today's quickie production breakdown, we're taking a look at the synth panned-echo in the second verse of "All The Little Things".
