just a lil question i had, but with the new vyn event dropping, i noticed that his cn voice sounded kinda different?? idk if you know anything about this but is this because of the controversy surrounding his cn va or smth? i vaguely remember something about an ai voice akdslj (or maybe im tripping and his voice hasn't changed haha)

yep that's right, they're currently using an AI for vyn's voice! the cn VA went to jail for a bit and I think he got charged for some pretty major stuff (supposedly), and it looks like he might not be coming back to his jobs for a while.

(seeing the weibo posts list his VA like "Mo Yi VA: Mo Yi" will never get old)

hi! i unfortunately don't have any plans to go through the chapter again and write up a summary, however here is what i can remember from it in the vaguest "summary" ever:

investigation partner Artem

the scientist guy who died actually locked himself into that place that he died in to force himself to... (i don't remember but i think it had to do with research). so he was his own murderer effectively. also he used to work at the lab that jerome works at

i think this might be the chapter where vyn's uncle comes in and acts sus

Even though you do not do translations anymore, I really love reading your thoughts on the story (and/or cards) themselves so I still check in incase of Story Summaries and/or just you talking about your thoughts, regardless of spoilers (honestly, with anxiety, the story spoilers are welcome so I can work up to it anyway and it feels like most story opinions are vague and people mainly focus on the characters so yeah)

honestly i'm SO flattered to hear this because i would've thought that, at this point, there wouldn't be many people checking out what i've said about themis things with 99% of what i've translated having already been added to the global server. really happy to hear that you enjoy reading about my thoughts!!

yeah they're still going, updates are just fairly slow since there aren't that many chapters/themis is more focused on events/date content

hey tira! ik you're more genshin focused rn (same tbh ajdfjkl off-topic but do you think you'll pull for alhaitham?) but what do you think of the new cn event cards and stories?

hellooo firstly i would love to pull for al haitham simply because he's hot and i love his personality. sadly (except not really because scara's worth it) scara scraped all of the primos out of me and rn i'm probably better off saving LMAO

EVERYTHING IN THE NEW EVENT LOOKS SO COOL!! all of them being angsty, partly because of the style of the period they're based on, makes me really curious about the stories. the aesthetics are also on point (but when are they not for 4ssr events tbh), i love the fashion this time! especially rosa's outfit in marius' card. like damn. (her outfit was also gorgeous in marius' card in the recent winter event)

i also really like the fact that the event story itself is actually set in AU (as opposed to the whole "hey all 5 of us got invited to this thing again and there just happens to be some sort of issue for us to solve... again), will be cool to see AU versions of the characters in an event setting! (actually was bakerlon like that too? idk)

unfortunately i have not read it yet :( it's cool that we finally get to see his parents tho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! his mother is particularly beautiful!! sadly i have not seen anyone mention any concrete details about his parents aside from their names (especially their jobs and the circumstances in which they died... bruh i am hungry for the LORE on them)

ja ton of people have probably asked you to rank the luke cards but you've probably gotten a few ssrs from the other male leads right? do you have a personal ranking on those ones? thought this might be fun haha

i don't really have strong opinions about the other ones tbh (and don't really read many even if I get them), howEVER notable good cards for the other three (imo) are:

marius: christmas noodles card (all through the night)... it's been a REALLY long time since i've read it though so all i remember is that it gave me a good impression

vyn: medieval suspense, love me some twists and turns

artem: not gonna lie, i have no idea what to put here bc i think I have the least of his cards 😔 his popular cards are all ones that i haven't read (e.g. the birthdays, qixi, snowfallen...)
