It's been wild watching how far russia is willing to go to justify the genocide in Ukraine. They are willing to use the tragedy and the cold dead bodies of their own civilians to explain why they are killing us. They aren't even good at lying, but somehow it's always enough to make someone believe.
At first they said the terrorists arrived in a car with ukrainian license plates. Then disproved it. They said the terrorists were moving towards the Belarusian border. Then quickly changed that version to the Ukrainian border instead. Apparently, the citizens of Tajikistan recruited by ISIS worked for Ukraine. When putin shits his pants, it's because the Ukrainians forced him to.
Not even a few hours had passed before the russians got to writing on the shells with which they bomb Ukraine that this is their revenge for the Moscow's Crocus Hall. "To the pigs (that's what they call us) for the Crocus Hall"
Tumblr media
This is not surprising is the slightest. But it is still wild to see. Russian society is sick. There is nothing sacred for them. No empathy even for their own. No respect for the victims. Everything revolves around one goal: to justify their hatred and their crimes.

There is a defunct mall in my city. Last summer, they turned it into exhibition grounds, every couple of weeks there are new exhibitions.
Right now, there is a small memorial for young Ukrainian students who will never receive their diploma.
Tumblr media
Right behind that is another exhibition about the German minority in the Soviet Union and how russia sent them to labor camps or just let them and their Ukrainian neighbours die in the Holodomor.
The mall grounds are huge and half of the first floor is just about russian atrocities.
And then there's also an exhibition of art by Ukrainian and Russia-German artists.

Hey!
I remind you that I live in Ukraine and feed cats (and sometimes dogs), who have no home and no family. They live in basements, garages, and other non-residential buildings. Some of them were thrown out on the street, some were born already on the street.
I thank you for your help, but again, please, share this post or donate. I cannot leave them for a long time, they are waiting for me. They need food, care, and attention. Because they have no one but me and you.
There is almost no food. There have been no donations for almost a month. So, please, reblog or donate, if you can, here:
buymeacoffee
pp [email protected] (for the cats)
Thank you again!❤️

The general store in Velyka Komyshyvakha, Kharkiv Oblast, is a chilling monument of the invader's mind.
The writings left on the walls by russian soldiers who occupied the town reveal their cruelty and genocidal beliefs.

they deserved it
Both of them are correct"

Russian troops destroyed the local school, kindergarten, town council building, and hospital, turning a once welcoming small community of 800 people to an inhospitable ruin.

You know how that thought process goes: 1) I'm gonna die; 2) but what will happen to my 1000+ days Duolingo streak? 3) I better do a lesson now, before I die.
To think about it, my 24.02.22 experience was as tragic, as it was comical. Yes, I had a mental breakdown and cried for two days, but one of the first things I did that morning? My Duolingo practice, then Wordle.
