The end of finals. And the year. 2023.

So, finals are finally over (pun 100% intended). It feels... surreal. 2023 has been an insane ride, but in a good way.

Fall 2023 semester just ended. My finals are done. And I got my results last night: As across the board. A 4.0 GPA for the semester.

In no particular order, here's some of the stuff that happened this year:

I started my own website (as a school final project, that grew and grew; no, I'm not going to link it here lol).

I started going to school FULL TIME.

I managed to earn enough scholarship $$$ to be able to go to school without loans for the foreseeable future. No Pell grants (I can't get them since I already have a BA to my name).

I... joined the honors program and I'm well on my way to be able to earn an honors certificate IN ADDITION to my degree.

I'm also a lifetime member of Phi Theta Kappa now, and that's opened up SO MANY networking, scholarship, volunteer, and travel opportunities! Listen, IF YOU ARE A STUDENT, AND YOU GET THE INVITE TO JOIN: DO IT! Seriously.

I finally finished an important immigration process (not for myself, but for my parents). So, they can MOVE to the United States, and we can be together again as a family!

I landed a job at the college where I'm a student at as well: so, I'll be working part-time while going to school full-time starting next year.

So, yeah. That's just some of the stuff that happened. Wild ride indeed.

Every time I see a post about dogs online, I intentionally make it a point to go pet my dog and spend time with him as soon as possible. Why? Because I know that there will come a day when I’m not going to be able to do so.

So, I recently ended up picking up a Nintendo Switch OLED, and I’m genuinely surprised at the SHEER AMOUNT of games on this thing. Like… what?! Isn’t this thing supposed to be outdated hardware in 2023?!
