So the Harkers are probably catching up and spending some good quality time together. Lucy hasn’t written anything, which means nothing interesting has happened, she isn’t picking up the diary habit, OR she can’t write anything. (Us book veterans know the answer.) Seward and Renfield? Probably nothing new there. Renfield’s still “waiting”.

Thinking about it, wouldn’t it have made more sense for the “missing week” in Seward’s diary to have shown up around this time instead?
