I love how Katara burst into Zuko's room but because she saw him deep in his thoughts she decided to stay at the door holding a pose and propably thinking "I might want to murder his guts but I'm not rude I can wait"

Do you think Katara should have apologized to Sokka for accusing him of not loving their mother like she did?

Not really. I mean, it was a harsh thing to say, but I'd argue it was accurate. Sokka himself has admitted that his younger sister supplanted his mother in his memories. Also, for Sokka to take Aang's side for the reasons he did was also harsh. I think they deserved to have a deeper conversation about that whole situation. .

Tbh I don’t understand how ppl say giyushino is just a fan made ship (hello?? “the moon is beautiful tonight” anyone?) when the gaidens and light novels exist and are canon. In Giyu gaiden, it’s clearly shown that Giyu is much more talkative around Shinobu (even Gyomei says giyushino likes talking to each other, despite Giyu being very tight lipped and Shinobu always making it seem like she dislikes him) to the point he feels comfortable sharing his personal beliefs with her, and even let his guard down enough that he smiled in front of her. When the crow announced Shinobu’s death, he is visibly shell shocked. 

Yes he was left in the dark about her plan, but as a pillar Giyu knows all too well that any one of them could die at any moment (he had a blank face when Rengoku died, despite the flame pillar being universally loved/respected). He is usually the most composed pillar, given that part of his training in water breathing meant he always had to keep a clear and steady heart. To see him lose his composure and reveal his emotions even for half a second is a HUGE deal.

Shinobu on the other hand likes to tease Giyu (it’s canonically her favorite past-time), always saying things like “that’s why everyone hates you”. She gives me the impression of someone who likes to antagonize the person she likes, bc if she truly disliked Giyu she wouldn’t go out of her way to help him as much as she does. Again in Giyu gaiden, when Giyu’s poor communication skills are on display and he’s about to be arrested by the townsfolk, Shinobu is the one who comes to his aid and even helps him with his mission. 

They even go out to eat together after killing the demon (where Giyu accidentally smiles in front of her) which seems so arbitrary, but again for someone as selectively social as Giyu that isn’t something he’d do with anyone. Quite frankly, none of the pillars appear that friendly with each other besides Obanai and Mitsuri (and Rengoku and Mitsuri when he was training her), the canon lovers. Other times Shinobu has stuck her neck out for Giyu are when the other pillars want to fire him in the light novel “one winged butterfly”, and during the hashira training arc when Giyu says he’s not involved and pisses everyone off.

TLDR I love giyushino, they’re such an underrated pair. I am 100% certain that if Shinobu had lived, he would’ve proposed to her after the war when he begins to soften up. I wish the author would’ve given us an official art to confirm the ship like the soft obamitsu one.
