You know what drives me crazy. Say that a bisexual character is lesbian if she is in a relationship with a woman, or say that she is heterosexual if she is in a relationship with a man. Or at least that it's okay to call this bisexual female character a lesbian if she's in a relationship with another woman. Why am I saying that ? Because I literally came across someone saying that Charlie, being in a relationship with a woman (Vaggie) can be categorized as a lesbian, despite her bisexuality, especially since the fact that she is bi "is not specified in the show". Except that the fact that she is "lesbian" is not confirmed in the show either. Lucifer saying that Charlie likes girls while freaking out and being excited, just to say that he has something in common with her, is not proof that Charlie is a lesbian. And the creator herself confirmed that Charlie was bisexual. So if you have respect for Vivziepop's creation, please stop denying the bisexuality of Charlie's character in the canon events of the show. And no, it's not normal for a bisexual woman to be nicknamed a lesbian for dating a woman. Or that she is nicknamed heterosexual because she is in a relationship categorized as heterosexual. For what ? Quite simply because the bisexual woman will always be bisexual. Damn, it's crazy that in 2024 I'm still hearing this type of shit. The worst part being that it came from a bisexual woman. It's astonishing !

I only ever see hate against shipping Alastor with anyone if it’s with Charlie. Whenever it’s with a male character like Lucifer or Vox all I see is praise and swooning.
Let’s stop trying to police each other’s ships, let everyone be crazy and noncanon with their creation and consumption. Bring back crack ships to fandom culture, normalize noncannonical chaos❤️🔥

What gets me about Vaggie’s lie is she clearly NEVER intended to tell Charlie. She was gonna hide that forever. And I get that Charlie is the all loving Jesus allegory so of course she forgave her but MY GOD. Gleefully slaughtering people (many of whom their ‘sins’ were just being gay, doing drugs, sex work etc) for entertainment and only stopping because she was cast out is not something most could ever forgive and would be valid if Charlie never trusted her again.
I think it makes sense for people to ship Charlie with other people because Vaggie, is in my opinion, awful. At least people like Alastor aren’t hiding that they’ve done awful things, Alastor never pretends to not be a manipulative, creepy overlord, and he never actually lied, he was always upfront about being scary and scheming.
Vaggie is the only one who hid her truth and she was the one who judged the hotel’s residents the harshest. Does she actually care about saving sinners or just pretends to care because she loves Charlie?
p.s. This is no hate to chaggie shippers, I believe all ships are valid, this is just a character conversation I think is worth discussing and I say all this as a queer woman myself.

It’s so absurdly ironic how folks are trying to hold a moral high ground over how other fans consume & create media for a show about demons in hell.
