“Y/N, I’m home!” 

You heard a shout from the front of yours and Penelope's shared apartment. You didn’t respond, wrapped in a mountain of blankets. You didn’t feel the best today, sadness looming over you like a black cloud. So, you moved to the comfort of your bed, sinking into it.

“Y/N?”

“In here.” You said, voice muffled through the closed door.

Penelope walked in, flicking the lights on as she did so. She took in your crumpled form on the bed, occasionally sniffling. The TV cast a dim glow in the background, though you weren’t really paying attention to it.

“Oh, honey. What’s wrong?” She questioned, nurturing side coming out. 

“I don’t know.” You said, cheeks flushed from crying. 

She brought you into her chest, petting your head every so often. 

Out of the blue, she asked you a question. 

“Do you want to hear a joke?”

You nodded, having no energy to answer her verbally.

“Are you WiFi? Because I already feel a connection.” Penelope said.

“Penny, that was horrible!” You weakly giggled, burying your face in the sheets wrapped around your shoulders. You were already feeling a little better, Penelope's presence comforting you. 

“What do you call a can opener that doesn’t work?” Your girlfriend laughed, cutting herself off. “A can’t opener!”

You both dissolve into a fit of giggles, bright smiles adorning your faces. She was a ray of literal sunshine, always managing to make you feel better. She was your lucky Penny. 

Secretly, Penelope was gazing lovingly at you. They’re so cute, she thought, I’m glad I fell in love with them.

STOP THE AGE GAPS WITH HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF DIFFERENCE!!! PLEASE

I get it, age gaps are perfectly normal. I can support people in a relationship with age gaps but only if it is HEALTHY. I can support it when the people are OVER 18. That does not mean i want to see a 13 year old dating a 16 year old (looking at you rick). 

Firstly, Twilight. Whether you love it or hate it, it exists. I don’t care that Edward looks 17, he’s over 100 years old. Bella is 16-17 when she meets him (smeyer tried to make this right by saying bella was emotionally and mentally mature - thats bullshit.) She’s at a really impressionable age where teens often think that their highschool love will be the one, but that isn’t always how it works. Edward also wanted to fricking kill her - like that’s totally normal right?? They were really toxic too. Carlisle and Esme I can kind of get - he left her when she was a teen but later came back to her as an adult (this is also kind of weird as carlisle is from the 1600′s and esme turned into a vamp after edward). And Jasper was a Confederate soldier. There was also the thing with Renesmee and Jacob (smeyer tried to make this right by saying that renesmee grew really fast but like, its blatant pedophilia). 

Secondly, the Percy Jackson universe. I love this series, but there are some MAJOR problems. There are multiple times where 3000+ year old gods flirt with teens/kids under 18. I can get Annabeth having a crush on Luke (he found her on the streets, took her in becoming her hero basically) but Luke also reciprocated those feelings at one point too. Evidence :

Like wtf rick. And I personally loved Frank but his character arc went a little sideways. Rick made him buff (lowkey fatshaming him), had a pouch to put his stick in (ruining his character development) and he was too old for Hazel. Hazel is fricking 13! 

Lastly, Marvel. Why do all Loki fanfics ship him with teenagers? ‘His human age is technically 16′, you say but he’s also a 1000+ plus year old asgardian. He’s much more mentally and physically mature than a teenager. Tom Hiddleston is in his 40′s! His fanfic s/o should be around 25+. If their asgardian they should be around the same age as him. Not 16!
