Obviously we are seeing a lot more posts with the union flag on (it's only called the union jack if it's on a ship) due to the jubilee but did you know there's a WRONG way to have it? Please if you are selling anything with the flag on make sure it's the correct way. Important: the Union Flag has a correct way up – in the half of the flag nearest the flagpole, the wider diagonal white stripe must be above the red diagonal stripe, as Scotland’s St Andrew’s Cross takes precedence over Ireland’s St Patrick’s Cross.
