Puma pet doll with Type A head ordered blank from Iplehouse on Feb 23, 2024 and arrived today, which is less than 2 months (speed of light in the BJD world). 62 cm from head to tail tip and HEAVY. Standing when all the weight is in the center and the legs are on the corners is... difficult.

I plan to blush with airbrush acrylic paint. Iplehouse said they don't sell pet dolls blushed anymore because they had problems with the blushing not sticking to the doll. I find that airbrush paint tends to stick better than pastels, so... wish me luck.

Spouse saw me get the box and sighed. heh heh heh

He'll come around when I put kitty in his lap.

[Monster High] so since pink lagoona is a hot topic in the fandom, i though it'd be a fun challenge to try and make some pink lagoonas myself. there's actually a lot of material to work with imo!

these are all essentially looks for a recolored g1 lagoona, only the last one being intended for her g3 personality. i wanted to make more for g3, but didn't quite like them in execution, so maybe another time..

tropical treasure: beautiful, glamorous, colorful, but a bit more of an aquarium decoration than a strange beast. loosely inspired by bettas

ghost ship cruise: etherial haunty lagoona, inspired by jellyfish. light, translucent and probably cold to the touch

coy classic: elegant mermaid pond lagoona, inspired by koi fish. this one is kind of an amalgamation of her g1 dolls that exists in my head tbh

little axolotl: cute and quirky, like the new lagoona. inspired by axolotls and sea slugs :)

The silver lily moonwalker (Lunambulans argenti) is a large insectoflorid native to the cold steppe of the Sunken Continent. Moonwalkers spent most of their lives buried up to their shoulders in mud or sandy soils in loose, semi-social groups known as bouquets. It displays a distinctly heliotropic behavior with its facial disk constantly trained on the sun through the course of the day. For approximately one week around the full moon, entire bouquets will travel by night to find new and more fertile rooting grounds.

The grip this man has on me I swear. Thought it would be fun to try my hand at both the 1994 Tom Cruise Lestat as well as the 2022 Sam Reid Lestat and then I was on a roll and threw in my personal, unhinged interpretation of him as well.

When doing my own design for Lestat I love to lean into his theatrical Rockstar persona as well as add more exaggerated vampy features just for fun. Enjoy~

Inspired by his outfit in later Boruto epidemic (pictured below) here's Kakashi’s traveling clothes. This outfit was fun to make and to add my own spin on, like the paw printed fanny pack which yes, does in fact have dog treats inside. This outfit always looks so comfy and I love Kakashi is blue obviously. Enjoy~
