I definitely think she chose right with what she released in the official album cuz there were so many good songs based purely off first impressions that it was hard to choose my favorites and the second half was good but not particularly memorable as a whole (love The Prophecy and thanK you aIMee but other than that they weren’t as dazzling). Might just be cuz I’m new music tired and I’ve been focusing too hard on lyrics so hopefully it gets better on the second listen (gonna need a break tho)

Someone more talented than me will make beautiful edits of it I’m sure but the comparisons to previous albums where she’s constantly putting herself down to make him seem better to now her putting them on even footing “the voices in his head called the rain to end our days of wild” and “he saw forever so he smashes it up” from MBOBHFT and most of TTPD the song showing that he was just as messed up as she saw herself is such growth and I love to see her realizing that he wasn’t any better than her

This is the best first impression I’ve ever gotten from an album. Like usually I listen once and go “idk it’s not as good as her other stuff” and then love it once I give it a couple more go’s but this one I only had that with like the first 2/3 songs and then LOVED Down Bad and then kept loving everything after. Hard to choose favorites but I think top 5 (in no particular order yet) are: Down Bad; So Long, London; Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?; Florida!!!; and loml
