i honestly want to know more about skid and ESPECIALLY lila's view on skid's dad. cuz like- idk why but i have a gut feeling that lila knows something about skid's dad that skid or maybe even we dont, but its tricky to see often cuz neither seem to like the subject very much.

Yeah- I feel like Lila DEFINITELY knows something, she was married to him, after all. I think even if she wasn't in the cult, she knew Skid's dad was doing something... illegal? Unethical? Something that was Bad, at least.

Skid is an oblivious little lad, I don't think he'd ever even consider his dad might not have been a good person or didn't have his best intentions in mind (if he didn't).

Skid still clearly cares about him a lot. Lila is more interesting bc I can't tell if her methods of dealing with it are just normal grief or something else that happened
