It’s been too quiet on the Sam and Bucky storyline in the mcu. At this point I’ll take even just a little post credits scene in another Marvel project. For example:

just Sam and Bucky watching Rogers: the Musical in complete horrified silence.

Or them sitting out on the Wilson boat playing chess (Sam always wins) or cribbage (Bucky always wins) while they wait for their collection of police scanners and radios to alert them to their next mission.

Or them in the Wilson boat way out in the middle of the ocean staring slack-jawed at the remains of the sunken Celestial and giving eachother the wtf side eye.

Sam getting zoomed by Layla while out flying in his suit on a mission and yelling WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT and the camera zooms out and he’s carrying a beat-up and disgruntled Bucky by his tac vest. Bucky just yowls “HELL IF I KNOW JUST GET US BACK DOWN TO THE GROUND ALREADY”

Them in New Asgard, Bucky staring in rapture at Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder and Sam saying “no way are we getting goats, man, there’s no room at the house”

During training America Chavez accidentally portals a little white kitten away and has no idea where it went. Cut to Sam sitting on his sofa watching football or something, Bucky’s deeply asleep nearby. There’s a tiny meow and Sam slowly turns to look down at the floor. End scene.

Sam and Bucky blinking disoriented in the bright lights of the Golden Daggers Club as the crowd roars at their names being announced. The other doors open to reveal Kraven and Sabertooth (or someone similar power tier) as their opponents. “I just wanted to get carryout” Sam says, hefting his shield. “It’s never just carryout” answers Bucky, dropping into his fighting stance as he stares ahead. Sam shakes his head with a half-smirk and they move forward as the cheers grow louder and the club bass of the music threatens to drown everything out.

Yelena in civilian clothes wandering a farmers market in Delacroix, “No, no change in movements,” she rambles into her cell phone disgustedly. “They’re just…same thing everyday, fish fish fish, then they have cute little workout with catching the shield, then Wilson flies away very big and showy…Very showy… for his briefs and meetings while Soldat wanders around doing nothing with his sad face until Wilson comes back. Same thing EVERYDAY, I’m thinking you have bad intel. These guys are making no problems for your team, best to leave them to their boat and not bother.”

Calloused fingertips ran slowly through your hair, absent-mindedly drawing varied patterns with gentle prolonged strokes. Eyes closed, you basked in the alleviating motion. The faint pressure of his tips combing through your scalp lulled you into a deep state of relaxation. Not that you’d been stressed before, but you welcomed the calming drift with open arms.

Head perched on Bucky’s lap, you laid comfortably along the width of the bed on your back. The headboard of the bed supported Bucky’s back as his legs were stretched, ankles crossed.

Flesh hand racking through your locks, his metal one was encompassed in the heat of your hold. It felt cool to touch, much cooler than the rest of him, but it had a certain aura of warmth. Languidly, you traced the smooth plates making up his palm and fingers and the back of his hand, committing every cranny, every nook to memory.

How to Appropriately Tag Fics

Tumblr ‘How To’s

I have seen some great works here not getting the attention they deserve and it’s truly heartbreaking! Part of the reason might be that the fandom they’ve written for isn’t that popular, and sorry to say but it can’t really be helped. However, even if they’ve written for a popular fandom, the writer might not have enough followers to gain enough views - but this case can definitely be helped!

The solution, you ask?

Use the tags appropriately and TAG THE HELL OUT OF YOUR FICS!!! Seriously, it isn’t costing you any money or space, so what’s the damn problem? The more the tags, the better are the chances of people finding your fics, even if they don’t follow you. It only benefits you and the reader looking for that specific trope/au/kink used in your fic.

P.S. tag ONLY according to the main character/pairing. Never tag side characters/pairings. Tag appropriately, not unnecessarily. (It’s really annoying to find a fic of your favourite character/pairing only to discover them mentioned in a sum total of five of lines).

P.P.P.S. (idk if there’s such a thing) observe what tags other blogs writing for the same fandom as you mostly use.
