I think I stopped at the 1373738 attempt of Dean sacrificing himself? I think he was going to lock himself in a metal coffin? And thrown into ocean? Idk. All I know that I sort of lost the will to carry on but I intend to rewatch it in whole since the show ended

Y'all need to fucking understand something. You know why the Winchesters has so many goddamn flannels? Sure, they are cheap. And this is a kind of typical hunter look. You know what else? They are fucking SOFT and COMFORTABLE. They are like a security blanket!

Now, I know Sam wearing flannels were hand me downs from Dean. And Dean probably got a majority of his from John growing up. And for John those things were just practical. But for the boys...they were a promise of a fucking protection from all EVIL.

John swore to protect his kids (kind of) and Dean. Dean was made to swear to protect Sammy. Sammy wearing this stupid oversized Dean's flannels were giving him a sense of security. Because Dean will always save him.
