Pictures from the roadtrip.

We went to:

Petaluma, Bodega Bay (stopped by the house from The Birds), Salinas, Marina, Monterey, Paso Robles, Solvang, Disneyland. We stopped in some other tiny towns but those were the main stops. It was so much fun.

Went on a week long vacation. Took a road trip down the coast. Came home and 24 hours later was in the ER. I thought I was having a heart attack. They did a bunch of tests and sent me home saying there wasn’t anything they could do to help me and that I’d have to contact a GI doctor after the holiday. I was in so much pain and couldn’t believe they’d just sent me home. I spent another 24 hours in so much pain before I couldn’t take it anymore and went back. Turns out they didn’t run the one test they should have or else they would have found that I needed my gallbladder taken out.

A week later I’m still sore but I feel so much better. I’ve heard of people having issues after they get their gallbladder taken out but I feel great (again besides the soreness from surgery). I have my post op appt this afternoon. Also - if you get some of your insides removed I think it only fair you get at least 2 weeks off. I’m exhausted. Came back to 3 weeks worth of work. 🤦‍♀️ I’m ready for another vacation.

Usually anything even remotely romantic or sweet makes me cringe, but this man just told me he thinks about me every time he flosses, and I feel like that cartoon with the dog and his heart his beating out of his chest. Good lord.

About to eat my last meal on the egg fast. It honestly wasn’t that bad. Well, day one was rough, but only the last half of the day. I had a killer headache and felt nauseous. But day 2 and 3(today) has been great! Full of energy and down 6 lbs so far. I realize that some of the weight will most likely come back since a good chunk of it was water weight, but it’s just nice to see the scale move. I took measurements on the beginning of day one so it will be interesting to see if any inches were lost.

On another note: I joined a gym today and I am so happy! It’s a huge gym with a lot of perks and it’s only $10/month. I had an awesome work out too. Tomorrow is my birthday and I’m planning on going to the gym first thing in the morning. ☀️🎉

Missing my friends, but not missing the bad habits I have when I hang out with them. Just sitting around all day playing video games and eating. (Though I still love both 😂). I wish I had more active friends who wanted to go out and golf or walk or something.

Usually I would do my work outs right after work but lately I’ve been getting up at like 5:45 am to do them and it feels amazing to get it over with! Think I’m going to stick with this schedule at least until fall/winter.
