Swynlake Style - Tallulah’s Circus Party
A hot or not fashion rating for the EVENT OF THE SUMMER. (Totally not biased!)
Phineas Flynn - -1/10
Why on earth would someone dress up as Evil Knevil (Is that even how it’s spelled??) for someone’s birthday party? You had the right energy, but honestly, atrocious... fashion SIN!
TIANA TRUITT - 7/10
Amazing. Very simple, but ON THEME. Plus you always look good, babe!
Martin Ambrosius - 4/10
You’re giving me very sad circus tent/even sadder concessions clerk vibes. BUT! ON THEME, so you get some points there!
Susan Webb - 11/10
The beading on this was very well executed, who made that? I could have done a bit better, but still it was a look™. Have you considered running away to join the circus? Taming lions?
Henry Charming - 7/10
VERY on theme, I appreciate your efforts young man!
Anna Sommers - 2/10
I KNOW I said it was a circus theme, right? Not Candyland? Either way, it looks kinda cute on you and you pulled it off better than most would.
PACIFICA NORTHWEST - 100000/10
I ABSOLUTELY ADORED THIS LOOK, YOU WIN. BUT ALSO NEVER SHOW UP TO MY EVENTS LOOKING THAT GOOD EVER AGAIN OR I WILL TAKE IT PERSONALLY NEXT TIME.
Oliver Saluki - 8/10
I understand that you did NOT dress yourself for this event, so again credit to the tasteful, Pacifica Northwest!
Jessica Rabbit - 8/10
Gorgeous. You Court ladies really know your classy looks™ don’t you? Red is your color, babe!
Wendy Darling - 6/10
DARLING. So simple, on theme, and wow you’re to die for! Would have loved to see you in something a little more bold, but NOT BAD!
Barbie Roberts - 10/10
BARBIE HOW COULD YOU. You looked fab, it was BOLD and COLORFUL and CAMPY. I did not expect any less from you!
TOM - ∞/10
YOU WERE SO HANDSOME, I LOVED THAT YOU LET ME GIVE YOU THAT JACKET SO WE COULD MATCH, YOU’RE THE BEST. SO SWEET!
Sarina Go - 12/10
YES. That’s all I have to say, wait no. I have more! ASJKLJGKL. Ok, that’s all now.
Toulouse Bonfamille - 13/10
WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE BOOTS?! To die for!! They really brought the whole look up a level. Magnifique!
Ashlee Tomassian - 3/10
Yesss Queen give me nothing! No feathers? NEED MORE STRIPES. mORE color!
Simba Bonfamille-Lyons - -10/10
HOW MANY MORPH SUITS DO YOU HAVE? WHY DOES YOUR HUSBAND LET YOU HAVE THEM!?
Melody Oceana - 1/10
Striped parachute pants? NOT EVEN COLORFUL STRIPED PARACHUTE PANTS? Babe, we both know you can do better!
Attina Triton - 7/10
So cute!! Vintage show girl vibes were the vibe of the night for so many ladies and you looked so sexy! *chef’s kiss*
Vixey Chakraborty - 10/10
Actually a very cute clown look!! I love how original the idea was, not many people came as clowns! The face paint shows commitment to the fit and I applaud you!!!
Roman Triton - 4/10
As MUCH as I love this jacket, WHERE WAS THE REST OF THE PIZZAZZ?!?!
Theodore Barrie - -2/10
Such a pretty face... such an... outfit... You got points for originality but I just hate it.
Zira Blackwell - 11/10
Iconic. V similar to my outfit, but honestly, I can’t be mad! IT’S A GOOD OUTFIT.

Tallulah winked at their bartender before they left to fetch her vodka cran and the piña coladas. She was ecstatic to be here, the semi starlet hadn’t really had many nights out since she moved back to Swynlake. With her nose to the grindstone with her business plans, she didn’t have the time. She used to go out even on weeknights when she was a party girl in LA... and then in Auckland.
Going out for karaoke with these gals only served to remind her that she had friends she hadn’t spoken to in a while. Surely, Meghan and Taylor would forgive her as they seemed to be keeping busy as well! Their server dropped their drinks off and she gave an acknowledging nod.
“We could definitely start out strong with that one! I’m always down for a girl power moment. I think that’s the theme of the night; girl power and new friends!” She toasted with her glass.

princess-ting-ting:
Ting-Ting Qin loved karaoke, but she did not necessarily like to go to karaoke with two complete strangers.
Not that they were complete strangers. Ella was her neighbor and of course, she’d heard of Tallulah Robinson before. But she’d never thought they’d be cast in the Swynlake Community Theater production of Mamma Mia. And she certainly never thought she’d be the lead role. And yet, here she was, sitting at a table at NTO’s premier karaoke destination as Tallulah rattled off her drink order to the server and someone belted out “Kiss From a Rose” by Seal.
“Oh, uh a … pina colada for me?” Ting ventured. Might as well be a little exciting tonight! She was Donna Sheridan, after all, and Donna Sheridan would at least order one drink. Maybe two.
She glanced at Ella, whom she knew a little better, and offered a little smile.
“Well, I guess if there’s any way to see our singing compatibility, it’s this,” she said, when the waitress had left. “Should we start with an ABBA song or is that too obvious?”

@cinderellaashbourne @tallulahrobinson
Ella only really liked karaoke if she was doing it with someone else, but unlike Ting-Ting, she wasn’t particularly picky about who she was singing with. As long as there was someone else there, so that she wasn’t just stood under a spotlight. A funny thing, given that she had auditioned for the play to do just that, but the play was… different. She couldn’t really explain it.
She had been looking forward to tonight, though, a good chance to get to know Tallulah and Ting-Ting better. They were going to be spending a lot of time together over the coming summer, so it would be good for them to start off on the right foot.
She asked the server for the same drink as Ting (Ella could count on one hand the number of times she’d drank since she’d had her daughter, but a pina colada did sound good), and shared her small smile, glancing around the bar for a moment.
“Oh, no, I think ABBA’s perfect,” She said with a smile. “Maybe a little on the nose, but I don’t think anyone in here’ll mind. What do you think, Tallulah? Mamma Mia might be a step too far, admittedly… but there’s a lot to choose from!”

She mirrored his stance, leaning on the counter. While this was mostly a ploy to get his stamp of approval, Al did have experience in something that she did not. And it’s wise to listen to the wise... or something like that.
His first pointer was a no brainer to her, in a place like this the insurance would be through the roof. Fortunately for Tallulah, money wasn’t an issue. She’d saved money for her first boutique since she was a little girl. The young spitfire collected quarters and her allowances before her family were as loaded as they are now. But now she didn’t have to pinch pennies. Her name was as big as her bank account. This boutique wasn’t for profit, it was just a dream. She realized this going into it.
“Assuming money isn’t an issue, because well...” she shrugged and gestured to herself. “Robinson. And I don’t expect to make a profit in the first year. At least, I’ve heard that most businesses don’t. Did you?”
Schmooze Fest || Allulah
tallulahrobinson:
Tallulah hid a grimace as he wiped some combination of cheese puff dust and spit onto his shirt. She placed her palms together as he offered her his… wares. “Actually! I was hoping to get some pointers.”
It wasn’t a lie. She did need some advice in the business running department. Sure, Tallulah was somewhat versed in physics, engineering, and holding the flashlight for Cornelius. But accounting was not her thing. Fashion and design is what she really cared about, so she’d focus on that. Businesses required more than that however.
“I’m planning on buying that cute little building by the firehouse. I’m putting in a petition to open a boutique there. It’ll be totally adorable, but I wanted some advice from a seasoned business owner with real experience! Could you help me with that?” She brushed a lock of hair behind her ear and tilted her head, putting on her most innocent face.
Tallulah was asking for his help? Well, Al would be damned.
Look, once again, Al didn’t think Tallulah was his actual dream girl. For one thing, she had made it pretty clear when she screamed like a banshee and ran through her house upon seeing him that she had no interest in him whatsoever. For another, she was super duper out of his league.
That didn’t mean he didn’t feel totally flattered that she was asking for his help. He puffed his chest out a little, feeling pleased (and also blushing a little).
“Oh! Well, I can certainly give you advice,” he said, leaning forward and resting his elbows on the counter. “The first thing I tell everyone is to definitely set aside more rainy day money than you think you’ll need. Because there’s really no telling what accidents will happen in this town — you gotta budget for at least two big disaster incidents a year.”

“Glad you like her as much as I do, she deserves a little praise.” She being Tallulah, but car innuendos are the way of communication with men.
The redhead bombshell knew a few places safe from the winds of change since she’d been around. She wouldn’t tell Tom this, maybe, but the spot she thought of first was a popular getaway for her and her first real boyfriend back in high school. He had a motorcycle and Tallulah thought it was so dreamy. It also helped that the Triumph pissed her mom off. They usually took his beat up old car out there though so they could kiss in the back seat to whatever was on the radio.
The red light turned green, pulling Tallulah from her hazy memory. If she remembered how she felt so well, why couldn’t she remember his face? Looking up at a new and even more charming face, she smiled. “I know a few places... One is off the road to NTO. It’s a little off the beaten track, but I know there’s a nice open space that’s been worn down over the years.” And the fireflies come out at night and it’s really romantic.

“Not at all, I insist.” Tallulah perked up when he held her door for her. Sliding in she said before the door closed, “She handles like a dream, you’ll love her.”
If she new it was that easy to win him over, she would have hit him with the damn car and called it fate. She buckled her seat belt and watched him caress the car. Men and their cars. She loved the Maserati, and yes it had a name, but Thomas could afford this car if he wanted it. She didn’t think he’d be so into them if he willingly drove that truck of his…
Tally petted the dash as the car started, feeling the roar under her hand. “I call her the Cherry Bomb. Fitting, is it not?”
She flipped the visor down and checked her lipstick, wanting it to look decent for if there would be smooching later… and she was banking on it. “So, Tom, where do you wanna take her?”
Tumblr media

“Cherry Bomb is perfect,” Tom agreed as he felt the car hum to life.
The engine wasn’t loud. Cherry purred as they pulled out onto Main Street, but that just meant she was looking for a little more gas and a loosening of the reins, so to speak. Tom was eager to give it to her. His hands rubbed back and forth on the steering wheel as they pulled up to the only stoplight in town, which, of course, was red. Tease.
He looked over at Tally, that big grin still slapped across his face. “Well, you know this place better than I do. Where can we take her to let her loose a bit?”

Tallulah wouldn’t pretend to understand what a ‘bonny lass’ was, but it sounded sexy when he said it. And it sounded like a good thing, seeing as the rest of his statement was a compliment.
She stepped up behind him and delicately laid a hand on his bicep, “I do have good taste, thanks for noticing. She’s got a V8 and can go zero to sixty in three point seven. She’s a great ride…”
Tally let the double entendre sit for a second before continuing, “Do you?” she gestured to the car, “Want a ride, that is…” She dug out her keychain with a few cutesy odds and ends dangling off it.
“I’ll let you drive,” she added with a wink.

Tom was a simple man.
You start speaking to him in numbers in reference to a car and he pretty much tuned out everything but that. You offered him the chance to get behind the wheel of a fast automobile and he barely even had to think about it.
His eyes lit up as he peeled them away from the shiny red metal, turning towards Tally. He looked at her properly for the first time, eyes wide. Was he technically on shift right now? Yes. Had he forgotten that in lieu of the offer to take the Maserati for a spin? Absolutely.
“Really? You don’t mind?” he asked, but he was already reaching for the keys. When she dropped them into his hand, his grin widened further.
Y’know: this was probably exactly what he needed.
“This is brilliant, thank you!” he said giddily before going to dart around the side of the car. He stopped himself, instead, moving to open the passenger door for Tally. “For the lady.”
As soon as she was settled, he darted around and hopped in, smoothing his hand down the paint job before closing the door and putting the key into the ignition. The car purred to life.
Tumblr media
“Does this lovely lady have a name?” he asked as they pulled onto Main Street.

Schmooze Fest || Allulah
Tallulah was just going to ignore that she was married to Al once again in this week’s latest Swynlake nightmare. She needed him to like her in real life at least so her petition would be passed. It was only a matter of schmoozing. And with Al McWiggin on her side… it just might work out.
She strutted through the doors of the quaint little comic book store he owned and tried not to touch anything she didn’t have to. Directly in front of her a scrawny teen knocked over a stack of cards and they scattered across the floor. He looked sort of awestruck, mouth agape, staring at the female person instead of his mess. Clearly, women like her do not frequent this place.
“You’ll catch flies if you keep looking at me like that, kid.” The boy closed his mouth and Tallulah stepped over him in her YSL booties.
The redhead made it to the counter and reluctantly tapped a bell on the desk, letting it ring. “Hello? Al?”

Tallulah was pleased with the interior of the building she was hoping would be the foundation of her fashion empire. The owners said painting, reflooring, and altogether redesigning the store was fine so it was nearly settled.
All she had to do was buy it and get board approval. And with Al McWiggin wrapped around her finger it was assured that the board had to approve! And her petition for a high end boutique at lower prices was going pretty well! She attributed it to the personal touches; the pink font and the rose scented perfume she misted over it. She was even more pleased when she saw Tom approaching with a smile.
“Oh, the car? Why yes, actually. It was an early birthday gift to myself. I kinda needed a new car since moving back home.”

[fit but without the undershirt bc we love cleavage]
Tom moved closer to the car (and, subconsciously, further from Tallulah), as if he was in a trace. There weren’t many cars in Swynlake. (Thankfully, Tom did not want to be handling accidents.) And the ones that were in town were either junk cars that looked like they were being held together by duct tape and pure willpower or they were supped up shiny things like this one. ‘Course Tom could afford a car like this, but living on Lindisfarne, there had been no real reason, considering he could jog from one side of the island to the other in under half an hour if necessary.
Phil had a few nice cars like this, but they were back home. The three of them were trying to blend in with the truck they all shared.
“She’s a bonny lass,” Tom complimented. “You have good taste.”

Tom was a simple man. He liked the way his muscles burned after a good exercise. He liked the ocean and the sea salt spray. He liked playing with his dog. He liked sex and he liked going out to the clubs. He liked things that went fast and felt powerful: like horses and cars.
So, when Mark, came around the side of the engine and said their was a lovely Maserati he’d never seen before parked in front of the building next door…well, Tom had to go see it for himself.
He was just admiring the shine when he heard the door of the shoppe open and close behind him. Turning, he hoped whoever was coming out of the shoppe owned the car–
Oh, it was the woman from the tree. The–woman with the cat from the tree. In the tree. The woman whose cat had been stuck in the tree.
Tammy…no–
“’Ullo,” Tom said with a crooked little grin, pointing to the car, “this lassie yours by any chance?”
