Word Count: 432 Characters: Mono, the Thin Man LN Inktober Prompt by @hallownest-of-souls CW: Mild Language use

Mono focused with all his might on the ticking clock in front of him. All he had to do was slow down the arms with his powers, but it was too hard. He was getting a headache and gave up after a few seconds.

“Focus, Mono!” the Thin Man bellowed at him.

“I can’t do it! I can’t!” Mono shouted. He hated the Thin Man, and he hated that the Thin Man was trying to teach him how to use his powers. If Mono was anywhere near as tall as the old man, he would have punched him in the face.
