Also, other people are still going to apply the One Drop Rule towards us. It's more of a perception to them than reality. Perceptions are all that matter in America. They say we are Black and we have no numerical strength, Mulatto lobbying groups, no political power, the Dominican Republic can not sanction the United States, etc, so we're legally Black.
Except there is no law to being a specific race.

I don’t understand Pieper posting on TikTok with the comments turned off. Like, are you just going to ignore what you did on Bachelor in Paradise? Or do you really just think it wasn’t that bad? At least Brendan had some humility and shame. He posted an apology to his IG story, but Pieper won’t even acknowledge the situation publicly, or apologize to Natasha?!

Im BR. I dont think U understand some of us. Most our nonblack fams reactions give us no choice but to be black. Outsiders shouldnt give us identity but yknow kids who grew where the white side hates them get pushed to the black side bc theyre accepted there, their “mixture” doesnt accept them. Understand us. U say a lot to AAs but never our racist white fam. Im sure youll say AAs can be racist too n avoid statistics of what we go thru w our white side but wont dare group white ppl w AAs for ODR
Mixed race people would accept you if you would accept your biracial identity as valid — you’re more concerned with black approval and white rejection.

have you had friends that were mixed race (black and whatever else that applies) and considered “black passing” or a “light skinned black woman with two black parents”? if so, have they also been bullied into being black or not believed by others? what are your thoughts on people doing that to them?
I have no friends.

AAs love ODR but most biracial ppl wont accept their mix bc of how their nonblack family treats them, the same excuse they use: nonblack fam was racist/shunned them so they oriented as black their whole life & cant let go. I sent ur “accepting ur mixture” vid to my biracial sis we have the same parents & she literally went off saying look how our white side treat us & we’ll always be full black to white ppl. Plz make a vid addressing nonblack families of biracial ppl & biracial ppl who say this
She doesn’t want to be accepted, not even by other mixed race people — not much to address.

Im biracial like u same race of parents like u. I love u give us spaces when people be vicarious to us, hate themselves & project it in envy/hate of our mixture. ?: race is off biology & phenotype so biracial 1/2 black 1/2 white wont be the same as biracial 1/2 white 1/2 asian, so what if biracial 1/2 black 1/2 white & other mixes of mixed people should be their own combos/race & together we’re the mixed community? On docs they wont let us all put “mixed”. We all look different, its not 1 “race”
It’s a mix of races.

“And I agree, the mixed race people who want to be black deserve the consequences of that identity.” As a biracial adoptee (black/white) to a white family with two white sisters (both biologically connected to my adoptive parents), I faced racism because the white community defined me as black. In the 80’s, in a predominantly white school district, it was the white folks who defined the “one-drop” rule. It was easy for others to use race against me. Ironically all available friends were white.
It’s lonely when you’re the only mixed race person in the community.

With racism from AAs u'd be surprised they scream about oppression & injustice as they do. Acting as superiors of Black ppl w/ an ideology fueled by inferiority complex that all race/ethnicity want/have to BE them. I saw ur tweet about AAs are admixture & it evoked of earlier when one tried to tell me whilst their slave master's blood in them that they're the "real" Black ppl & I'm "only West African". The victimhood's past the limit. I love how u stand firm & never fold, Africans are beside u!❤
I’m beside you.

Naomi Osaka who is ½ Black ½ Asian got “The First Asian Tennis Player To Be World No. 1” in 2019 when she’s Blasian & still held title at Olympics 2021. Biracial people fit into ½ side when they want & accept awards happily with no corrections. Obama who is biracial was declared as USA’s 1st Black prez. Biracial people need to take accountability & stop being complicit with biracial privilege of changing sides whenever, the one drop rule wouldn’t be effective if they didn’t do so. Your opinion?
The way these people openly clarified that they are mixed race and no one would acknowledge it as valid.

Hi Talia. I've been watching your videos for a few months now, and I think you're a much needed voice for the biracial community. I'm 42 year old mixed-race male from the UK. I've experienced the same abuse from black people that you're receiving. My black dad once said that I have identity issues because I identify as mixed and not black. I just wanted to say that most biracial people are with you and support what you're saying, so stay strong.
Cheers to strength!
