9th March: Do you know how to cook? What's your favourite thing to make? On that note, what's your favourite thing to eat?
I know how to cook well enough to manage. It's not one of my favorite activities though. I particularly enjoy making scrambled eggs because I can make them exactly how I like. I like eating rice baked with apples and cinnamon.

Day 30- What’s the best advice someone has given you?
"Live by the day.", My family always says this. My mom, my uncles, and even my grandmother used to say this all the time though it varies how they say it but it also means the same.
I tend to over worry and be anxious about everything. But going through really tough times, it's hard to see past that day you're in. Their advice comes from experience and not just to brush of my worry. There was a time when we don't even know if I can come to school that day because my mom had no lunch money to give me, but everyday, she finds a way to make things happen. Today is always what you need to face, so focus on it. Enjoy it.
It's like taking one step at a time and soon you'll find yourself miles away from that moment and everything is better.
April 30, 2021
Congratulations to me!!! Today is the end of my zoomester studyblr challenge. I made it!!! 🌼 Not only that but today is the deadline of all my pending school works and I'm glad to say I can submit them all today with no conflicts! One day at a time, as my mom would say. Yaaaay 🌺

Day 1- Introduce yourself! What’s some basic info you’d like to share about yourself? Also! What are you studying? (If you’re in college, what’s your major? which semester are you in?
Hello! I'm Tala, and I'm participating in this zoomester challenge to inspire myself and connect with other lovely individuals!
I'm nineteen, Palestinian-Jordanian, and I'm attending a bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics and Animation in Amman. I'm currently in my second semester (second year), and my courses are as follows:
Technical Writing and Communication
Statistical Methods
Computer Graphics (Unity)
Calculus 2 for IT
Rigging and Skinning (Autodesk Maya)
I love animating, drawing, reading, writing short stories and poems, and seeking beauty in everything. I'm also a very outdoorsy person, and I love being in sunshine.
Maths and programming are very involved in my major, but they're not my strong suit at all! I hope that this semester is another chance to improve my maths skills.
I'm gonna be tagging my major and interests in the tags of every post (as well as the zoomester tag) in hopes that I will find others like me sharing their insights and opinions. I can't wait to meet you all! Love,
Tala ❤

Zoomester studyblr challenge!
first of all, so sorry to be taking so long to take part!! I’m only even remotely free now that my dissertation is done, so I’m going to start very late
Day 1- Introduce yourself! What’s some basic info you’d like to share about yourself? Also! What are you studying? (If you’re in college, what’s your major? which semester are you in?)
Hiiiiii! My name is Melissa, I’m a final-year student of linguistics in the UK interested in language documentation and endangered language revitalisation. I prefer my linguistics puzzlingly paradigmatic and maddeningly morphological rather than senselessly semantic or stupidly syntactic (I could go on).
I have just finished writing my dissertation today - ‘Irregularity and suppletion across a priori naturalistic constructed languages’!!!!!!!! Aside from that, I’m also studying historical linguistics and typology.
otherwise? I am *extremely* hyperactive and definitely have some form of undiagnosed ADHD. I learn languages! at the moment that’s mostly Chinese and Esperanto, as well as some fun conlang stuff. I also like reading cnovels, fantasy, am a huge Tolkien fan, like martial arts and enjoy cliffs a lot.
nice to meet you all!!!

Zoomester Studyblr Challenge
Day 1: Intro!
Hi, I’m Alyssa. I’m 21, my pronouns are she/her, I’m a libra and I’m currently in my third year of college. I live a generally chaotic lifestyle, drink a lot of coffee, and nearly always have a massive to do list, thanks to school, my two jobs, wedding planning, and attempting to be an adult.
I’m a business major (gasp, I know). I’m studying Accounting and Finance, specifically, and this is after obtaining my Criminal Justice degree. Don’t ask me what I plan to do with it all, it changes day to day. Mostly, I just want to find  create some balance and do something worthwhile. Yea, I don’t know what that means either.
Day 2: What’s your major and why’d you chose it?
I picked my criminal justice associate’s degree because I was honestly passionate for it - to this day Deviant Behavior was one of my favorite classes. I spent a long time planning to go into law enforcement - that’s not out of the question yet, but I’m keeping my options open. I’ve learned that there’s a lot more to life than work. I chose to do this one as my associate’s because mostly it helped me get my gen. eds. out of the way at county college and gave me time to figure out what was next. A criminal justice degree alone really isn’t worth all that much, as fascinating as it is.
Now I’m dual majoring in Accounting and Finance at a local private college. It’s cute and small. Accounting makes sense to me - it’s that balance thing, I think. I took a course in high school and enjoyed it. It’s something that law enforcement likes to see - white collar crime and all that - but it also leaves my options open. Everyone needs a good accountant. With all my degrees combined, I’ll have enough credits to sit for the CPA exam. Truthfully, I don’t know if that’s what I’ll be doing when the time comes for it, but it’s nice to know it’s there if I want it.
Day 3:  Have you done a challenge before? If so, how was it? If not, what are you expecting to get out of this experience?
I’ve started a couple challenges before, but I’ve never seen them all through. I get distracted or forget about them and get super far behind. I’m hoping to see this one through. I like the prompts on it, and I’m excited to have some more interaction with the studyblr commnuity.

March Productivity Challenge
1st March: What are your goals for this month? What's something you're looking forward to?
I will write a post about my goals tomorrow and that’s my plan 😉 I am looking forward to my first day of actual work but I know it won’t be that easy.
2nd March: Do you consider yourself a workaholic? What times do you feel most productive?
I absolutely don’t consider myself a workaholic. I feel most productive when it’s late and everything is quiet, so evenings or nights.
Zoomester Studyblr Challenge
Day 1- Introduce yourself! What’s some basic info you’d like to share about yourself? Also! What are you studying? (If you’re in college, what’s your major? which semester are you in?)
I’m M. I love cats, Philosophy, Computer Science and silly little emojis. I’m a high school student from Europe. I am graduating this year. I want to study in The Netherlands. In order to study at a university I need to pass my final exams. I am taking Computer Science, Mathematics and English at an extended level and am required to take Language & Literature, Mathematics and a foreign language (English) at a basic level. I still have compulsory Physics, German (❤️) and History classes but they don’t matter that much.
Day 2- If you’ve chosen a major, why did you decide on it? If you’re in any other grade , what field/major interests you the most?
I want to do things I’m interested in. So interdisciplinary studies ❤️

Day 26 - What has been your best zoomester experience so far?
I've actually liked my whole zoomester experience because I no longer need to endure a 2-hour commute (at most) going to my uni and another 2 hours going home. (it takes so long because of Philippine traffic. it would only take 30 minutes if there was mo traffic, I swear)
Then no more coming to school just to find out that your professor can't come to class. I also enjoy seeing my classmate's respective places behind them during class hehehe. My profs during first semester were great too. I loved my Digital Imaging subject and my Multimedia Performances subject where I get to experience producing amazing output. For the latter subject, I got to produce a news which was aired on my professor's news show called FMB. 🌼
I worked all night 'til 3 am again, editing a video for my development communication subject. It's a group work but I'm assigned in doing the video while they wrote the written report.

Zoomester Studyblr Challenge
Found the delightful zoomester studyblr challenge on @ezra-studies’s page and thought I’d give it a go! (Original challenge post is from @progressaesthetics and is available here)
Day 1- Introduce yourself! What’s some basic info you’d like to share about yourself? Also! What are you studying? (If you’re in college, what’s your major? which semester are you in?)
I’m Grace! I’m a senior in college (graduating in the summer), and I love learning about any and everything! (There’s a bit more about me in my About Me post if you’re interested.)
I’m pursuing a multidisciplinary degree with concentrations in geography and environmental sustainability, geology, and environmental science. (Whew! That’s a mouthful!)
Day 2- If you’ve chosen a major, why did you decide on it? If you’re in any other grade , what field/major interests you the most?
Love this question!! I’m a multidisciplinary: geography and environmental sustainability, geology, and environmental science major. I chose this because:
I’m passionate about all of those subjects! Geology was one of my childhood obsessions. I used to read mineral identification books cover to cover for fun. Geography/sustainability fits in really well with my travel interests. Environmental science just seems a natural third option with those other two. Plus, I love that environmental sci goes into depth on the mechanisms behind the concepts I learn about in my geology and geography/sustainability courses.
the structure of a multidisciplinary degree is fantastic for me. I had credits from two other colleges, and the MDS degree option provided SO much course selection freedom/transfer-friendly program structuring. It’s also allowing me to graduate early!!

Day 1- Introduce yourself! What’s some basic info you’d like to share about yourself? Also! What are you studying? (If you’re in college, what’s your major? which semester are you in?)
Hello! I'm second year law student from Poland. I'm 20 yo obsessed with black tea, astrology, tattoos and absolutely not fitting in "typical law student canon" lmao. Also language freak.
An INTP gemini.
Always late.
Day 2- If you’ve chosen a major, why did you decide on it? If you’re in any other grade , what field/major interests you the most?
I major in law and honestly I have no idea why. It was a surreal idea to study it and I just went for it. Turned out I'm quite interested in that, especially in criminal and international law.
I'm gonna give this challenge a try since I need some solid motivation.

Day 1 - Introduce yourself! What’s some basic info you’d like to share about yourself? Also! What are you studying? (If you’re in college, what’s your major? Which semester are you in?)
Hello, I’m Skyla (or Sky), I’m studying a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Ancient History + Classics. I started the first semester of my second year today and this is my first time participating in a challenge!
The classes I’m taking this semester are:
Middle Egyptian Hieroglyphs
Medical Anthropology
Art and Society in Ancient Rome
Basic Concepts of Physics
I’m super excited about these classes, especially learning Egyptian hieroglyphs. Physics was a bit of a filler subject because it was one of the only classes I was interested in that fit around my compulsory classes. I failed physics in high school, so I’m determined to ace it this time!
(Also meet my cat, Pandasmokey! He’s a scruff but he’s a sweetie.)

I think I've already done day 1 of this challenge but I couldn't find it so I'm doing it again.
Hi, I'm inconsistently--consistent. Some basic info about me is that I go by she/her, adore coffee, and have just finished my first year at uni. I'm majoring in mathematics. I grew up in the south. I'm currently attending a Christian university. I'm bisexual. I'm chronically ill/in pain with no specific diagnosis. I'm not the mentally healthiest person but again no specific diagnosis.
