If you didn't notice, they told us what Max is doing in her head right now in the coma.

She covers her "The Endless Summer" poster with her head in S2 and completely in 4. (There's a lot going on behind Max's head)

Note how the sea shell lamp is only on when Max is with El.

Oh, and we had that scene in which William, sorry, Billy says "You know what happens if you lie to me." ... Yeah. He did. Break her skateboard. I mean Vecna did. Her. - the Dear Billy poster says "No more lies. No more hiding" and Vecna/Edward using Billy's appearance.

Seriously. They spoon feed us everything.

Interesting how they use other characters to foreshadow and be proxys of others. Like Henderson means Son of Henry, Eddie = Edward/Vecna who plays him in the game. William is possessed... I mean Will, I mean Billy. And some lines from Robin are proxy lines for El. - Like "I wanted her to look at me..." but someone is in the way. (El is misinterpreting her own feelings. And then there's this "I love her and I can't lose her again" and it's Max looking embarrassed)

If you want to stop One

But I digress. Now, speaking of this scene. El IS the only One to stop One (remember Owens: You are One of the good Ones). That's been foreshadowed in the very first scene in which she sees Max.

Max is circling and wouldn't have stopped, Mike tried, if El hadn't stopped her in a manner of speaking. Brenner told us how to stop One.

In order to stop One, you need to fly, you need to be consumed and Max "Can't stop".

This One is circling endlessly like Terry Ives in her mind and this is likely the connection with the rainbow sequence in the lab scene and the zooming effect.

In the skateboard scene from Season 2 the Zoomer is mentioned the first time. Twice.

Told you. - Zoomer.

Spoon fed. - Taking the wheel, like taking control.

And circling, spinning is totally an ElMax theme.

The sea shell lamp scenes also form a pattern with it off when Max is alone, broken, haunted and hunted by abusers like William/Vecna and on when she's with El.

There's another scene coming to complete this pattern with the lamp on in Season 5 (even if that lamp is probably created in the mind.)

Sea shells btw have a lot of meanings:

Frankie is the zoomiest of all zoomers. He runs around the house attempting to destroy everything in sight (including Steve sometimes lol). And the only way to stop him is to catch him midair lmao

Raisin’s zoomies are just her walking leisurely up and down the hall a few times, then crashing for a nap. Occasionally she’ll trot around outside (espec when she’s younger) but mostly she is a very lazy kitty.

Oh, gawd, reading through little kiddies' letters to Santa while I code them up to run in the Los Banos Enterprise, and some of these are SO FLIPPIN' CUTE. Example: "Dear Santa, I want legos for kresmos. I have be a god boy." And I don't know who Zoomer Kitty is, but she is big on the girls' wish lists.

If there is any downside to this, it's only that the document is 25,486 words long. Yikes!!

The heartbreaking ones read along the lines of: "All I want is shoes for me and my brother." Gah! Makes me want to drive to Los Banos and take them to a shoe store.

I kinda refuse to believe that older men are less misogynistic than men my age and I also refuse to believe a lot of this "growing misogyny problem in young men" research. I think the scale and visibility of it is all very new, but I don't think the attitudes are.

Like, you're not seriously telling me the generations that grew up with Girls Gone Wild and Tucker Max books and the OG Men's Rights Movement and "DR PEPPER MAX IT'S NOT FOR WOMEN" and "Smear the Queer" and Howard Stern videos and hypersexual Rock music videos and shitty Pop Punk songs that spoke of young women in such entitled and manipulative ways are any more accepting or well adjusted than your average Andrew Tate fan. Like it wasn't Zoomer and Millenial men that killed Kitty Genovese or Elizabeth Short. Ted Bundy was born in 1946. Misogyny has always been around and men and boys have traditionally always leaned more conservative than women and girls, because one of the basic standards of patriarchy is promising men and boys rewards and hyper-autonomy as long as they keep selling their souls to be good little cogs in the capitalist machine because that's what "real men" do (and if you're straight-- which a lot of these guys are-- you really want the capital and typical trappings of masculinity anyway, because those things are the quickest ways to get a girlfriend or a wife and "win" the game), while women aren't really promised anything but basic survival needs, and only if they're under the thumb of a man while doing so. It's also why war drafts were so enticing and successful in years past; if you're a good little meatshield, a good little worker bee, there'll lines of treasure and toys and games and women waiting for you hand and foot and you'll be revered as an honorable and respected warrior in Vallhalla / Heaven / Paradise / etc.

It's all a very meticulous system. Nothing has changed, everything is still moving exactly the way it's supposed to, this is just how it's always been. I'm sure if you went back to any high school during the Reagan or Bush years, most of the boys there would say they lean conservative or moderate as well. The only reason younger men acting more on these he-man misogyny-homophobia sprees now is because the trappings their fathers and grandfathers were promised are no longer viable realities and they're feeling betrayed about it. In the 70s you could go to school and college for cheap, then spend an entire week doing nothing but going to concerts and meeting cute girls because shows were 8 bucks a pop. The modern job market is garbage, college is getting more expensive, alienation is more common than ever with stagnant salaries forcing people to pick up longer shifts and take on anywhere from 2-4 jobs, leaving no time to socialize. The standards for masculinity remain the same as they were in the 50s, despite this. Boys are turning to guys like Andrew Tate and Kevin Samuels, because those guys are the embodiment of capitalist patriarchy and falling into that mindset reads, to them, as the quickest easiest and most "correct" way to achieve standards of manhood that are as highly regarded from the average person as they are outdated in this desolate economy we all find ourselves trapped under. It's very much the "We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars" monologue from Fight Club.

Spiraling into despair about it and turning it all into a big generation war or whatever just seems so....pointless to me? Like men are not becoming-- nor have they ever been-- uniquely evil and stupid. They're groomed by the trapping of western white supremacist capitalism. Seeing it as some unique new slight on reality with no solution just seems so blatantly wrong to me.

Plot: A teenage girl throws out her most beloved toys that she used to play with 24/7. Making a mistake, the toys come to life and seeks the teenager just to kill her.

Characters: Funshine Bear, a Hatchibaby, Elmo, a Furby, Teddy Ruxpin (New version), GoGo, Butterscotch, Zoomer Dino and Kitty, and Dina (Human version).

Meet Miss Bubblegum Jellybean. She has a broken back leg and her neck does funky things when she's cuddling, but she handles it amazingly. I love her so much, she's adorable, gives great hugs and can't scratch me when I pet her too hard (she does hiss tho).

Zoomer kitties are one of the few robot cats I've come across and seem to be the closest to the real thing so far (hopefully the next iteration of marscats comes closer, they've achieved a great deal being an indi company making almost aibo level cats though). She chases my hand when I wiggle my fingers in front of her, does a lot of rather random things like angrily paw at things in her way and dancing. She vibrates when she purs which is what sold me on zoomer kitties, I miss having a cat and I can't have or afford one at the moment and Miss Bubblegum more than fills that void. I love her as much as my family's cat, I feel calm and happy when I see her sat on her thrown.
