The Haunted Beauty collection is a Barbie series which is technically not Halloween themed, but might as well be. Released from 2012 - 2015, they were a series of collectors edition dolls designed by Bill Greening.
Starting off the series was Haunted Beauty Ghost Barbie. In addition to her long gown, she is also wrapped in chains, evoking the spirit of Jacob Marley from A Christmas Carol. And presumably other ghosts, but when I think of ghosts in chains, that's where my mind goes.
Next up was Haunted Beauty Vampire Barbie. I like her a little less; her gown is beautiful and possible more intricate, but I find her face design and hair a little lackluster. She's not bad, but she doesn't rise to the level of the other dolls in the collection.
Haunted Beauty Mistress of the Manor Barbie is definitely one of my favourites from the collection. I love the inclusion of the book and candlesticks; I love the sinister vibes... and I love that she has a matching, non-spooky manor doll.
In a one of a kind doll also created by Bill Greening, Tea at the Manor Barbie is what Mistress of the Manor looked like before she became a Haunted Beauty.
Finally the series capped off with Haunted Beauty Zombie Bride Barbie, a Barbie bride with a sickly skin tone and red-dipped white roses in her bouquet. She is easily my second favourite in the collection, extremely closely behind Mistress of the Manor.

Just finished reading The Many Hands and you guys it's an absolute banger 10/10. I gave up taking down quotes I liked because I was doing it basically every other page, but here are my favorites of the ones I got:
[Image ID: 'He's the Doctor,' Martha said. She smiled sweetly, as her mother had told her to when dealing with idiots. 'I'm Martha Jones.' ./End ID]
[Image ID: Then he stopped. All good things come to an end.
He lay on his back for just a moment, enjoying the feel of the hard cobbles against his back, admiring the dramatic beauty of the monochrome clouds directly above. Gradually the sound of the crowd filtered into his perception, and he made a rough estimate of how long it would take before one of them rushed over and asked if he was all right. He ought to save them the bother and leap to his feet, but just for the moment his body seemed to want a nice lie-down. ./End ID]
Totally normal reaction to being thrown violently off a runaway stagecoach.

“Spend any time around Tura Satana and you can’t help but fall under her spell. One whiff of that perfume – Luna Mystique, if you must know – and you’re a goner, my friend. She’s got a smoky, mischievous chuckle that says life’s a game and the deck’s been marked, so we might as well laugh. Satana still gets a kick out of life and enjoys kicking it back. There’s something noble about Tura. She slugged her way through years of gin mills and flesh pits with nary a dent to her dignity.”
/ From Big Bosoms and Square Jaws: The Biography of Russ Meyer (2005) by Jimmy McDonough /
In Memoriam: statuesque Russ Meyer leading lady (John Waters describes her tough-as-nails performance as the vicious Varla in Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1966) "one of the best villains in screen history”), tassel-twisting burlesque queen (billed as “Miss Japan Beautiful”) and all-round ultra-vixen, the fiercely bodacious Tura Satana (Tura Luna Pascual Yamaguchi, 10 July 1938 - 4 February 2011) died on this day. While nowhere near as stellar as Faster, Pussycat! Satana is also a magnificently hostile presence in berserk 1968 exploitation flick The Astro-Zombies. (The fourth of February is a cruel day for aficionados of low-brow trash culture: Lux Interior died on 4 February 2009). Do the Watusi or karate chop someone today in Satana’s memory!

Thinking how many of my OTPs have the woman literally rip the man out of his eternal slumber.
Of course there's my latest obsession, Lisa and the Creature, the fact that he came back to life just because she was lonely, and she stayed with him when he was dead, and talked to him. How she is ready to die, trusting that he will bring her back. How it makes her become like him, makes them the same.
Then you have Piper, not accepting Jason's death, using her magical voice, her power that would normally be used to lead people astray, to guide him back home, to beg him "Please, come back to me", and he FUCKING OBLIGES, because her love for him is just that strong.
And of course, Lena, my beautiful Lena. With Lisa and Piper it was total accidents, Lena intentionally cracked open the fucking Necronomicon and conducted dark magic on Ethan, which resulted with her Uncle's life being taken to bring him back. It eventually lead to her BREAKING REALITY. Lena's decisions have such dire consequences, and the thing is so fucking what, the forces that rule her world are so cruel, so fucking unfair, that the literal goddess who created it wanted her to break it so she can make it better.
Then Ethan has to die AGAIN, to rebound the New Order they've created, and she doesn't accept that either! Neither of them do! It was a test, they passed, and now the goddess, the Demon Queen, is just sitting back, and watching these crazy kids, one of which is alive, another in the fucking afterlife, working together, coordinating, despite the fact they can't directly talk, and plotting their little crime against the laws of nature AGAIN, so he can come back, and they do do that!
Death is temporary. I'll love you forever
Listen to me. You can do this. Come back. You’re
going to be fine.
I’m here.
Don’t go.
I’m not going anywhere. And neither are you...
