See that criss-cross pattern on the book's pages? I bet that's the result of Zog's boredom
And finally a look at his insides:

Horrible.

Also reblog if you are interested in these things because I don't have disenchantment fans as followers.
I just finished the last episode and before watching it, I thought about all the possible things that could influence the last episode and then it didn't explain any of them. I do have more questions too.
Like is there a connection between Bad Bean and Freckles.
The dept to Hell was RE paid. How many times did the family lineage of Dagmar's marry their eldest daughter to him? Or did they all promise to marry one of them to him someday.
How did Maru have ''natural'' magic to begin with?
How old is Malfus and where did he find the eternity pendant?
When Freckles said he is Bean's brother, Zog didn't say anything to deny that. When he said that he is just a poor bastard, did he mean it literally? If so, how could he have been Bean's ''back up''.
Why are the mermaids interested in going to Moon? Because of the association between the sea and Moon, or something deeper?
Why did Dagmar and Big Jo stay alive after all the deadly incidents?
Is Jester/Jest-O really an elf like in Bean's dream?
When Bean touched the knife in the mermaid skeleton, she saw scenes from the battle of falling water: who was the person using magic in that fight?

First Meeting (SoW fic)
He literally tripped over the uruk that had the most impact on his former master's life. If that's not fate, then what is?
Gogat belongs to @space-arsonist and Hûra belongs to me :)
Warnings: Blood and Infected Injury, Trauma and PTSD, Emotional Turmoil, the Start of a Life-Long Relationship
The rain was unexpected, but it aided in Hûra’s hunt. His movements were deafened and his scent wouldn’t carry on the wind nearly as well as when it was completely dry. He was lucky in regards to how well trained Ibranniz was in the art of the hunt; staying far enough away to not interfere, but remaining close enough to hear his commands should the need arise. As cold as he was becoming, Hûra managed to swallow his shivers and remained focused on the caragor in a small break in the underbrush. They were small, but not completely starved. Perhaps he wouldn’t get much from them, but he needed the furs… And he could always sell the… meat to some uruk, so nothing would go to waste. And the bones- ?!
Going from a crouched position to flat on his face was more than a shock- actually, it was fucking terrifying- and Hûra couldn’t stop the startled yelp from escaping the back of his throat. The sudden noise caused the caragor to flee, but the shaman was far more preoccupied in what-or-whoever the fuck was pinning him down-! Hûra wasn’t expecting to be able to shake off his attacker- h-he was being attacked, wasn’t he?- with such ease. The brush was thick and tall enough to conceal them still as he clambered for the clearing. Whoever it was, they were a hell of a lot taller than he was, but… to be shaken off like that… Then he smelled it: blood, and a lot of it…
Old blood and an infection setting in, to be exact. The downpour diluted the scent, but the fact that it was present at all must mean that this uruk is likely to drop dead at any moment. If he hasn’t already. Hûra had already risen to his full height. I-Is he dead…? He wasn’t sure if he was relieved or distured by this thought. No, I need to at least check… Hûra was certainly more interested in his own survival than he was a complete stranger’s, but… could he really live with himself leaving an uruk to die like this? In the cold and the rain, all alone…? If he is about to pass, then he doesn’t deserve to be alone… It wouldn’t be the first time he’s aided in an uruk’s passing, likely wouldn’t be the last, either. If he has a chance, then I’ll take him to- “A-Ahh…?”
Hûra’s heart drops to his feet and he nearly loses his grip onto his bow as the unknown uruk clumsily rises to a seated position. It was like looking into a mirror of the past. As many years as it had been, Hûra would never forget the face of the one he had wronged the most in the entirety of his life: Zog the Eternal… But- Wait, no… No this isn’t Zog- of course this isn’t Zog! This uruk- this pup, Hûra reminds himself- is too young, too tall… too… light of a soul to be that necromancer. He was facing the shaman, but not looking at him. His mind was elsewhere, likely due to the raging fever he undoubtedly had from the infected wounds that covered the majority of the right side of his face. Scratches…? A caragor? Another uruk? They were deep, but oddly so, and angled as well. Then he noticed something.
This was an acolyte of Zog’s; the robes were a dead giveaway, as was the… stagnant air about him. Stagnant, but not rotted or fetid like any necromancer Hûra has had the displeasure to meet in his lifetime. He had heard that the necromancer had died for the final time, but it seems that those bastards are truly a pain in the ass to kill properly. Zog’s acolytes no doubt brought him back, so then why was this lad in the middle of nowhere? And with such a nasty wound to boot… Slowly Hûra placed his bow on his back. The pup didn’t react to any of his movements until he raised his hands in a take it easy gesture and took his first step forwards.
It happened in the span of a few heartbeats, but Hûra could clearly see the shift in the pup’s expression as it went from blank to twisted in blinding fear. The movement in his facial muscles causes a torrent of sour smelling blood to cascade down his face in a visible river in spite of the rain still pouring down. The sudden wave of terror that radiated off the acolyte was enough to catch Hûra completely off guard, so much so that he barely reacted when the other uruk jumped to his feet and tackled him to the ground. It wasn’t a scream, more like a wail, though it was guttural as though it came from the very depths of his soul. This was more than terror, more than survival, even. He wasn’t seeing Hûra but something, or someone else. For as weak as he was, Hûra could barely prevent the pup from clawing wildly at his face as he screamed and cried incoherently about… someone. He couldn’t understand a word he was saying, the pup was babbling so much. Though it wasn’t like Hûra was listening over the thrumming of his own heart in his ears as he flipped the taller uruk onto his back. With his wrists pinned above his head, he was left completely helpless.
Hûra hated this. He didn’t know if this pup saw him, or if he saw Zog, or perhaps someone else, even, regardless of who or what, he fully understood the emotions and the flighful fear that he was exhibiting. This uruk lost something precious to him, and it made him believe that he had lost the will to live. Yet he persisted. Not only persisted, but when presented with a perceived threat, fought for his life in spite of his injuries. He didn’t want to die, but he wasn’t sure how to pick up the pieces and continue to live, either. Hûra could easily kill this pup; whether by breaking his neck or ripping out his windpipe with his bare hands… No. He will do no such a thing.
He looks too much like Zog.
   He’s terrified of dying.
   I was like him once.
I can’t let myself make the same mistake twice.
It was too easy to handle him into a different position. Hûra managed to pull him into a sitting position and slipped behind him, wrapping his arms around him so that the acolyte couldn’t harm himself or the shaman. Perhaps he couldn’t hear Hûra, but still he shushed him and quietly promised that he was safe and that no harm would befall him while in the shaman’s care. Soon enough the pup hung his head and cried, too exhausted to fight but still aware enough to feel fear. It was a mercy when he finally fell unconscious. Hûra was physically and emotionally exhausted, but his work was only just beginning. He called Ibranniz, who casually rose and stretched before sauntering over to her master.
“You heard that scuffle, and you didn’t even bother to check to see if I needed help? You truly are a tentative beast.” Hûra was only half sarcastic. She didn’t come running to his aid, which was extraordinary out of character for the beast. There has to be a reasoning behind it… Ibranniz was a… special beast. Being a dire caragor, she is proud and fiercely independent. She doesn’t choose her masters lightly, and she doesn’t do anything, or nothing at all, even, without some reasoning behind it. There are no such things as coincidences in life. It wasn’t mere chance that not only an acolyte of Zog would, quite literally, stumble upon Hûra of all uruks, but for Ibranniz to ignore a potential threat to his life. Nor for him to feel such a responsibility towards a pup he’s never met before…
She was a good girl, though. Ibranniz laid so Hûra could awkwardly lay the lanky uruk against her back as he slid in behind him. It wasn’t ideal, but he was too tall and too heavy to sit upright in front of Hûra. The bleeding had stalled, thankfully, so he shouldn’t bleed to death before Hûra has the chance to tend to his wounds. But this infection… Gods he has so much work ahead of him. Especially if this acolyte continues to put up a fight…    Damn, he wishes Takra was here with him. Perhaps if they come to an understanding, he can reunite with his khazdûrz and get this uruk proper medical treatment. Willing that he doesn’t try to take my face off again… Hûra held a firm hand on the acolyte’s back as Ibranniz kept her pace steady but quick. Maybe he wouldn’t allow Hûra to help him… But Hûra has to try. He can at least patch the pup up well enough and give him a better fighting chance at survival.
He’ll do as much as this uruk will allow, but it’s not like the shaman isn’t selfish in his need to help this pup. It’s true that he sees a young Zog in this uruk, though there’s nothing else in the way of similarities about him. The way he feels… Yes, Hûra needs to take steps in atoning for his past misdeeds. Maybe this will end up killing him, but it’s simply something he must do. Though Ibranniz’s lack of worry… No, Hûra doesn’t doubt his feelings. There’s something here, even if he can’t quite see its form yet. He feels it, and maybe she does too. He’s confident this is the right decision, no matter what the outcome may be.

Tumblr media
You too can do this by watching a video on YouTube! You can also do this with Bruz’s Brothers too. As well as Uruk-Orcs and Ologs with the “Iron Will” attribute.
Also if you’re new to the game I’d highly recommend you finish the main story and get used to the mechanics before attempting this exploit.

War is a Matter of Perspective
read it on the AO3 at https://ift.tt/IFLljRE
by Razlozheny
It has been three years since the orcs of Mordor last encountered the ranger of the black gate. Three years filled with hushed whisperings about the ‘Gravewalker’, fearing the wraith might return to haunt the battlefields of Mordor. And for three years there was nothing. Ironically, he had vanished like a ghost.
Little did they know, sequestered within the chambers of ancient Mount Doom, their fears lurked and prepared. The Gravewalker would haunt Mordor again and a Bright Lord would come to purge the Shadow Lands.
This is a retelling of the story of Shadow of War from the perspectives of the orcs, rather than that pesky ranger (though he will make plenty of appearances.) Expect backstabbing, bloodshed, power-plays, pettiness, cruelty, tribal politics, warfare, and a smidge of comradery.

I'm on the mission screen and Zog is standing there so awkwardly. He doesn't even look annoyed as he always does, he's almost lost, like “when are you going to start the mission so I can stop standing here doing nothing”. It's like he's seeing what's beyond the screen and is like "wtf"

Stains of the Soul Ch. 6- To Good to be True...
He just wants to go home and be normal...
Zog saw him, and he nearly fucking fainted. An accomplished hunter no more, he was a pup. Small and on shaky, uncertain legs, looking up to the elder he respected the most in that little clan of theirs. Surrounded by the ambient noise of not a crowded market, but of beasts and the quiet roll of thunder and moving stone, of endless work familiar instead of new and overwhelming.
Kûga…
No. No no. No- No…! Zog hisses and yanks his hand away from his mouth. Blood ran down his fingers and onto his wrist. He replaced it back into his mouth and tore off his remaining nail out of a need to fucking bite and tear and-
FUCK!
Kûga looked his way. Zog dropped to his knees and crawled away. Several uruks around him muttered “What the fuck?” and “Goddamn pups…” but he can’t fucking hear anything over his own heart slamming into his thoat. Where is his brother?! He needs Pushkrimp! He- Zog can’t-
Hiding won’t do. Kûga is a hunter. A tracker. Has he already smelled him? His blood…
Zog was on the verge of panicking. No, he is panicking! Every bad thing came crashing down at once: a pain in the arse, the outrage towards Girl, her- her pups… leaving… Zog ground his teeth against his finger as he buried his face into his knees. Throwing an arm over his legs, Zog rocked himself as he fought back a sob.
Uruks passed. Some jeered. Zog hissed and kicked at ones that stepped to close though… one didn’t back down. No. If he pretends, maybe it won’t be so. Maybe… maybe-
“What the hell are you doing, dimwit? Looking to get shived? Mugged?” The contempt Zog expected wasn’t there. It lacked… sharpness. Shape at all, really. He cringes all the same and only hugs himself tighter.
No. It’s not him, then. Zog reaches out blindly and shoves. His palm makes contact against a shoulder as he pushes hard. He doesn’t leave. Fear of punishment crashes down like a sea wave. No, he isn’t Zog’s elder anymore! He pushes again. Kûga doesn’t move. Zog shoves again. Nothing. And again!
“Go AWAY!” Zog throws his entire body forwards, knocking the beastmaster off of his feet. Zog is spry enough to put leaps and bounds between him and his elder- no, just Kûga. He didn’t spare a glance at the beastmaster as he leapt over him, nor did he turn back. Or even look where he was running too. The only thing he could think of was-
“OI! Fuckin’ ‘ell, Zog! W-Wha-? Ey- y-yer bleedin’! An- Wha?! Talk ta me!” Pushkrimp dropped what he was carrying and wrapped an arm around his brother. Zog gulped down uneven breaths as he tried to push his brother back.
“G-Go-oo! F-Found-!” Pushkrimp went stiff. Zog clung to him tightly.
“The fuck is wrong with ya pup? ‘S that anyway ta treat ‘n elder that tried ta be decent ta ye both…?” The beastmaster’s tone gave Zog pause. He’s… hurt? He cautiously glances over his shoulder.
Kûga stood with a frown on his face, brows knit together with a look of not disappointment, but… pain. Zog felt… conflicted. Did- Did Zog… misunderstand him? What he said before…
“What do you want? Tryin’ ta get us ‘home’?! Ain’t gonna happen! So just-!” Zog turning around cut his brother off.
“Did ya come lookin’?” Zog wiped away tears and snot with the back of his hand, not taking his eyes off of the older uruk. Others passed the three by, some stood by to watch the drama unfold.
“Wha kind o’ question- ‘course I came lookin’ fer ye two! Thought… thought ye were…” He gestures towards them, but his hand ends up falling lax to his side. The beastmaster’s shoulders shake. Subtle, only just noticeable, but perceivable nonetheless. The two pups were baffled. Speechless, really.
Worry. He… worried? About them? About them both?
Zog leaned into his brother’s side, and Pushkrimp pulled him close. No, they didn’t trust him. Why didn’t he protect Zog?! Yelling at him for taming Girl… letting the other elders talk shrakh and exclude him and treat him different… Pushkrimp was fucking pissed. But… was Zog…?
“Why do you hate me…?” Pushkrimp squeezed Zog tighter, but he barely felt it. It didn’t feel like his words at all. Just… noise. He truly wanted to know why, but… he was scared and didn’t think it really mattered anymore. Zog still asked.
“I-I did everything for the Clan but… you all still- just- you hate me. You love Pushkrimp, but not me…?” There was fire for a fleeting moment but… it died with his words. Zog’s eyes ached, but there were no tears. His throat squeezed tightly, but he could only just breathe. Kûga’s eyes softened.
“My boy… No. I never hated ya… Not you nor Pushkrimp. You’re… odd, Zog. But yer special. You’ll do great things, with time.”
Zog’s heart dropped. W-Wha? Doesn’t hate…  Never hated…? He couldn’t quite feel anything, then he suddenly felt everything. Special? You’ll do great things… Great things… Beside him, Pushkrimp bristles.
“SHRAKH! You’s tellin’ ‘im, with the others, that ‘e’s a disappointment ‘n shrakh! Gettin’ mad over bringin’ ‘ome a pregnant dire! The fuck’s wrong with ya?! Yer a fuck- Eh?!” Zog elbowed his brother.
“Y-Ya don’t ‘ate me…?” Nothing else mattered. The long days of hard work, the unfair punishments, the hurtful words- He doesn’t hate me… He doesn’t hate me! The world swam behind his tears. Pushkrimp struggled to find his words.
No, this isn’t right… What’s happened-
“No, Zog… Never…” Kûga looked to Pushkrimp. Zog didn’t see through his tears, but Pushkrimp did. A subtle change. He knows he saw it, and the beastmaster knows, too.
“Would ya come home…? This ain’t no life ta live… Ya both deserve more. Ya can be so much more…” Pushkrimp shakes his head, about to refuse. But Zog?
“...they don’t want me back.”
“Oh, but we’re in a ways, my lad. Need all the ‘elp we can get. Things went ta shrakh when yas left… maybe it was Nurnen punishin’ us fer bein’ bastards…” The beastmaster chuckles bitterly. “I… wanna do right by ya two. Ya- yeah, I know. Ya don’t gotta say nothin’, just… makin’ an offer, and one ya don’t have ta answer right away: come back with me, ‘n things’ll be righted. I swears ta ye both. On my honour as ‘n beastmaster!”
Pushkrimp didn’t trust him, but his little brother did just that. The contempt that the bigger uruk had for the bestmaster grew three fold, for he gave his brother the one thing he was in desperate need of: hope, and Pushkrimp knew that he wouldn’t deliver on what he promised. He never has… so why start now? He hurriedly blurted out “We’ll think on it.” before ushering a starstruck Zog away.
They argued for the first time in… well, ever, really. Heated, with harsh words thrown around and hurtful things being spouted off. Zog thought it cruel that Pushkrimp would deny both him, his brother, and their own Clan of what they need: each other. Everything Pushkrimp has done, it has been for their survival. This is no different, even if Zog is too naive to see the reasoning behind his actions. Though he prayed it wouldn’t be so, Zog laid out the ultimatum his brother was terrified of.
“If ya love me, then don’t deny me this! Brother, please…! Come ‘ome with me… come ‘ome… If ya don’t… I-Imma go anyhows! Without ye!” The tears stung more than the words he threw around. Zog… Oh, Zog… Pushkrimp can’t protect him if he’s not around but… fuck’s sake…
“...I’ll always be at yer side, brother…” Pushkrimp offered his arms and Zog didn’t hesitate to jump into a hug. Crying, he held tight, like he actually thought Pushkrimp would leave him. Never. He’ll sooner die than let it be so!
“Never think otherwise… I love ya, Zog.” Pushkrimp rests his cheek against the top of his brother’s head. Zog clings tightly, burying his face into his broad chest.“...love ya too…”

Sheet Music Download here.
