Tanzen Headcanons For My Half-Demon! Tanjiro AU!

(In this AU, Tanjiro and Zenitsu start dating and I want to elaborate on their relationship!)

First, let’s start with how they realized they had feelings for each other!

When Tanjiro went missing (to overcome Muzan’s control), Zenitsu couldn’t handle the grief he felt

He felt like he lost his source of stability and love

After all, Tanjiro was the first person to truly see the value in him

Nezuko tried her best to stick by his side and comfort him during that time, but it just couldn’t fill the hole in his heart

It was basically one of those situations where the character realizes that they are in love, but their special person is gone

When they finally found Tanjiro in his Half-Demon state, the trio was overwhelmed with joy

Tanjiro then picked them all up and swung them around in pure happiness (he’s a big boi, okay?)

However, Zenitsu didn’t tell Tanjiro his feelings out of fear of rejection (also because gay relationships weren’t all too common back then)

For Tanjiro, he realized he had feelings for Zenitsu when he forced Tanjiro to look after his injuries (which Tanjiro neglected to take care of)

Tanjiro loved how Zenitsu cared for him and made sure that he would take care of himself

Despite this, they didn’t confess to each other for quite some time

They both ended up telling Nezuko and Inosuke about their feelings for each other

This made Nezuko and Inosuke team up and try to get them to confess (this also made Nezuko and Inosuke fall in love)

They managed to convince Tanjiro and Zenitsu to confess to each other by getting the Hashiras into the situation and having them give their support on their same sex relationship

So on one faithful Valentine’s Day, Tanjiro and Zenitsu finally confessed their love for each other (They ended up being sobbing, flustered messes afterwards)

Now on to more general headcanons!

They are both HUGE cuddle bugs!

Once they are cozy and in each other’s embrace, it is physically impossible to move them until morning

Zenitsu is the little spoon, there’s no debate (I mean Tanjiro’s freaking HUGE!)

Tanjiro’s purring makes him irresistible for Zenitsu

His gentle sound, purring, and soft growls make one of the most heavenly sounds Zenitsu’s ever heard

Picnics in the lush forest are their ideal dates! (Bonus if there’s fireworks!!)

When it come to housework, they both work together to make sure that it’s done

Tanjiro is an excellent cook (his sense of smell makes him an expert) and Zenitsu will never stop complimenting it

We all know that Tanjiro is tone deaf, but i believe that Zenitsu has a great singing voice and Tanjiro will occasionally ask Zenitsu to sing him his mother’s lullaby

Zenitsu gets absolutely flustered whenever Tanjiro compliments him or does something nice for him

Both Tanjiro and Nezuko nuzzle to show affection

So when Tanjiro nuzzles Zenitsu, Zenitsu’s face goes entirely red

Tanjiro sometimes kneads his claws like a cat against pillows, blankets, or even Zenitsu.

Yeah it kinda hurts, but Zenitsu loves it and urges him on

They are both there to help each other

Tanjiro will always comfort Zenitsu when he’s stressed and Zenitsu will always make sure that Tanjiro is doing well and taking care of himself

Despite knowing that Tanjiro will never betray him, Zenitsu still gets INSANELY jealous

He mostly gets jealous when Tanjiro spins anyone else around (he does that when he’s happy) or when he holds someone and purrs to heal them

Of course, no healthy couple doesn’t have no arguing

They don’t argue too often since they usually have great communication, but sometimes they do

When they do argue, they usually have to be apart for a little while

But after they’ve calmed down, they talk about the issue and make the other person understands their situation and tries to fix it

The two major ones they’ve had were about Zenitsu’s jealousy and Tanjiro’s self neglect

Despite this, they always stick by each other’s side

IM BACK FROM THE MITSURI FICS

But this time its not mitsuri

This time goes to the ever so adorable Kamado siblings. Specifically Tanjiro and Nezuko. And yes this is also platonic

Tanjiro is just sitting in Nesuko’s room at the end of the bed. It’s night time so Nezuko is just vibing on the bed with him. But Tanjiro doesn’t feel comfy, more like really awkward due to an adrenaline rush that hasn’t calmed down since he started his official missions from the corps. Because of that he has a hard time falling asleep tonight. A knock from the door comes and in comes reader. She is a older slayer and near the rank of a hashria but cant become Hashria due to there only strictly being nine Hashria (yes that is canon). Even though the meeting was just yesterday, word has already spread out to the entire corps. Tanjiro tenses up ready to defend Nezuko, but reader puts her hands up in a early surrender to calm him down. Reader stands next to the bed and starts giving Nezuko head pats. Reader then starts saying how happy she is for Tanjiro which is odd for him. Normally everyone is mad at him for Nezuko. Reader then says how happy she is Tanjiro is give Nezuko a second chance, some people need a second chance sometimes but don’t get it, even though thats the only thing they need to be better. But Tanjiro is working hard to give Nezuko that second chance she needs from a fate she never deserved. Reader then apologies say this might make him uncomfortable but she is proud of him. But that all he needs. The godddanm reassurance he needed since his family died when he was 13. At the end of the day being a big brother and carrying the burden of pain is one of the hardest jobs in the world. Reader goes in for a hug and Tanjiro clings on for dear life. Nezuko joins in the comfort hug. this hug feels like one a big sister would give, even though he never had one. reader spends the rest of the night comforting the poor child and stays with them until morning comes. She is now an honorary Kamado, reader enjoys taking the siblings out to new places to eat or buy new things for them like good luck charms trying to give them a peaceful life and demon slayer can have

A/n: i was so sad when i read ‘but this time it’s not mitsuri’ then i saw Tanjiro and Nezuko and i was like heck yeah >:D ALSO I FEEL LIKE WE ALL WANNA EITHER DATE OR BE FRIENDS WITH THE KNY CHARACTERS

The barest moonlight filtered trough the curtains.

Nezuko didn’t seem to notice the jitters her brother was suffering from. Sprawled on the twin sized bed, she kept herself busy with positioning her legs to remain upright in the air and swinging them back and forth on the mattress, one feet at a time.

It was an amusing sight for Tanjiro, but tonight he was restless. Many thoughts rushed through his brain. The adrenaline from his mission on Mount Natagumo and the not-so -lovely meeting he’d had with the hashiras proved stubborn and didn’t subside. In his bed, he’d kept shifting his legs, wringing his hands and tossing and turning, but tiny insects kept crawling up his body. So he’d tip-toed out of the room he shared with both Zenitsu and Inosuke in the butterfly estate and snuck into Nezuko’s room. At this hour, she should have been asleep (she slept a lot for a demon), but he’d been greeted with the sight of her wrapped up in bedsheets. Watching her, Tanjiro felt somewhat relived that Nezuko remained carefree and oblivious to what happened. He knew, deep down, that she must be understanding the situation to a certain level but the information simply didn’t fully process. No doubt for the best. Tanjiro didn’t mind being the one carrying the burden and the deaths that trailed behind him.

Knuckles racked against the door, almost startling Tanjiro. Guessing it was probably Aoi who came to check on Nezuko, or perhaps even Shinobu, he rushed to invite them in, already bracing for a scolding. But when the door opened, it was neither Shinobu nor Aoi who stepped in. Tanjiro didn’t even know who you were. But the sword that hung by your belt alerted him enough to hop out of bed and stand in front of his sister. The rush of energy finally kicked it and he was already planning to headbutt you.

But your shoulders tensed and you put your palms up to face level on either side of your head in an attempt to surrender. That was not the reaction he’d been expecting and definitely not the one he’d gotten with the other hashiras. The air smelled of fresh bluebells. Surprisingly, Nezuko remained calm. Her pink eyes trailed over you, but there was a far-away look in them as though you weren’t really present and she was looking directly at the door behind you.

“Ah, good day, Kamado-san! Or, uh, good night..” you seemed to fumble with your words. Your hands were still in the air. “I’m truly sorry for startling you at this hour. I’ve been tied up all day so i couldn’t come visit.”

Tanjiro almost gawked at you. You had none of the intimidating and somewhat eccentric presence the hashiras gave off, you looked..normal. For the most part. He doesn’t remember you being at the meeting. His shoulders slumped in slight relief and he bowed to you, mustering a smile.

“It’s no problem! I couldn’t sleep anyway.. ah, would you like to have seat?” He gestured to the empty stool that sat by the twin sized bed. You clasped your hands and shook your head.

“I’m good. I don’t intend to stay for long. I wanted to simply take a gander at your sister. I take it her name is Nezuko?”

“Y..yes.” Tanjiro was having trouble forming the words. Though he was weary, the smile on your face reminded him of his mother’s. You made no attempt at attacking them and the scent of bluebells assaulted his nostrils.

“It’s the first time i’ve come across such a phenomenon.. have you really not eaten any demons, my dear?” You tilted your head quizzically at the girl. She didn’t answer, only stared at you.

“Ah- sorry, sometimes it’s difficult for her to formulate words! Specially through that muzzle..”

“Oh, that’s right.”

“E-erm..” Tanjiro hesitated. “Is it alright if i ask for your name?”

You turned to him, bewildered. “I haven’t introduced myself yet? I’m [Last Name] [First Name]!” You bowed. “Kinoe ranked Demon Slayer.”

Tanjiro’s head spun. Kinoe rank? That meant you were right below the rank of hashira. He tensed again. Why did you want to see Nezuko?

“Rest assured, i’m not here to kill your sister. I wouldn’t, as The Master has given her his approval to live. I just.. wanted to have a look at the situation with my own eyes..” your voice faded near the end, like you were only speaking to yourself.

He blushed, embarrassed that his thoughts were so evident. “Thank you, [Last]-san.”

You nodded, then you took a tentative step forward. Tanjiro’s eyes never failed to follow, but he remained calm while you approached Nezuko and placed a palm over her head. She closed her eyes in bliss and leaned into your touch. The scene felt so..gentle, so unlike everything that he’s faced for the past couple of years. He smiled without even realizing that he’d let his guard down.

“She’s no demon,” you cooed. “She’s such a cutie.”

He grinned. “I’m happy you accept her. In all honesty..i was expecting you to attack..” his hand went to rub his nape.

You smiled wryly. “I know. You are not very subtle with your body language.” The laugh that followed was enough to make Tanjiro want to bury himself in the ground of sheer embarrassment. “The hashiras gave you a hard time, eh? I’ve heard they’re ruthless.”

“I understand they were doing their job,” Tanjiro admitted miserably. “But i still can’t help somehow feeling upset at how they treated Nezuko. The wind pillar—“

“—is an idiot.” You finished. “But it’s hard for him to trust demons.” You frowned before acknowledging his gaze upon you. “I’m glad Nezuko-chan gets to live.”

Tanjiro swallowed the emotions that threatened to flood. He nodded solemnly and, clenching his fists, added: “Demons are tragic creatures. They.. they deserve a second chance. I know eating humans is unforgivable but..”

You smiled. “I see now why Kocho-sama entrusted her dream to you. You’re a special one, Kamado Tanjiro.”

He gulped and felt himself shrink under your gaze. His cheeks burned. When was the last time he’d been complimented? And you were so kind..

“This might seem out of the blue, but i’m proud of you for standing up for your sister. You’re still a mizunoto, but you’ve got more spirits that i’d have thought.” You forged on. “I barely know you and yet i look forward to fighting alongside you.”

Something resembling warmth bloomed inside Tanjiro’s chest. He felt like he’d eaten a steaming bowl of Udon with grated yam but along the fuzziness came the ball that lodged itself in his throat whenever he’d fight back tears. He was fighting back tears. He felt ashamed, for he was about to cry after you’d just told him he was strong. That was unbecoming of a Slayer. But before he could even blink, droplets were tracing their paths down his cheeks, leaving dark patches on the white uniform and soon, he began to shake and sob violently. He felt arms wrap around him gently, lightly, like he was a glass sculpture and he shook harder. His fingers went to clutch at your uniform and he allowed himself to be given head pats by you. He didn’t need to look up at you to know you were smiling.

He can’t tell what he’s crying for. It seemed that every negative experience, trivial or big, that he’d encountered poured out in his tears. He’s been alone for so long with his struggles. He was still only a kid.

You made no effort to speak comfort into him. Simply holding him, caressing his hair and letting him cry, was proving to be more effective. The silence spoke volumes. A smaller pair of arms came to hold onto you and you looked down, startled, at the shrunken version of Nezuko who had her kimono and haori trailing on the floor behind her. Just like that, you knew they’d taken you in as one of their own.

You remained by their side for the entire night, and somewhere throughout, sleep greeted you in its numbing embrace with Tanjiro and Nezuko still tucked in your arms.

“(Y/N)! There you are!” Zenitsu called as he ran up, arms outstretched wide for a hug. It had been sometime since the Wisteria house, and the two of you were officially a couple. It hadn’t mattered how long it’s been since- whenever the two of you met eyes, your heart would skip a beat and your lips would tingle as if you’d just kissed him. “Zen!” You called back, running into his embrace. “Welcome back! How’d the mission go?”

“Terrifying. But I did it!” He smiled against your hair, kissing your forehead as he ran a hand gently against your spine. “The demon was really big, I was nervous it would be the end of me! But then I saw your lovely face and said: “No! They need me!” And pressed on!” He grinned at you cheekily. “Pretty heroic, huh?”

“More like sappy.” You teased, laughing when he looked back at you with mock shock. “What? Sappy? My grand tale of life or death, and you call it sappy?” He clutched his pearls. “You wound me! No demon has ever left such a mark on me before!”

This only made you laugh harder, falling into him as you lost yourself in mirth. “Oh gosh! I love you so much.” You smiled at him, delighted at the fresh blush staining his cheeks.

“Well…I suppose that makes it hurt less.” He mused, looking back at you. “But I still ache! Oh, how will I ever survive this pain? Perhaps a kiss from you will make it go away?” He shamelessly asked. Now it was your turn to blush.

“Hmm…maybe.” You considered, tilting your head in thought. “Or maybe not. What will happen if I say no?”

“Do you really wanna know?” He asked. You grinned.

“Tell me!”

“Are you sure you wanna know?”

“Yes! What’s gonna happen?”

“Then I…will turn into a tickle demon!” He roared playfully, his hands grabbing your waist and squeezing gently, making you jolt with a squeal. “Ah! Ahehahahahhahaha! Zehhheheheehnitsuuuhuhu! Pfft ihiihihiihihihit tihihihihihihickles!”

“Who’s Zenitsu? I’m the tickle demon! I’ve come to steal demon slayer’s adorable partners all for myself!” He leaned in and pretended to sniff you, the gesture making you scrunch up and giggle. “Mm, this one smells good! Let’s take a taste!” He buried his face into your neck, kissing against the sensitive skin and making you howl.

“AH! Aheahhahahahahahahaha! Zehehehehehehn nhoohoohooht thhehehehehehe nehehehehehck!” You pushed against his chest lightly, feeling your face burn with mirth. “Cohohohoohme ohoohoohohn hahahahhave mehehehehehercy!” “Hmm…alright.” He decided, leaning back and smiling down at you as you gasped for breath, residue giggles climbing out your mouth as you smacked him lightly. “You’re a jerk!”

“What? Me?” Zenitsu gasped, fingers pressing into your ribs gently and making you squeak. “The tickle demon is only doing what he loves! Making his partner a smiling, giggling ball of sunshine! Is that such a bad thing?”

“Aheahhahaha! Ohohohokay ohohokay!” You giggled, officially giving up. As you composed yourself, you looked into his eyes, feeling your being warm at the gentle love within. “Well…I suppose a kiss isn’t so much to ask for.”

Now it was his turn to blush, golden eyes widening with surprise and joy upon hearing your answer. “Really? O-Okay!” He smiled a goofy smile, leaning in as you let your eyes fall closed.

Just like the night at the Wisperia house, your lips tinged with electricity as they met his, coursing through your body like a line of fairy lights. It was comforting and sweet, gentle as the clouds above as his hands held your waist, your arms around his neck.

When you pulled away, breathless and blushed from ear to ear, he pressed his forehead against yours with a soft laugh, relaxed in the space you two created. “I’m me again. Hi, (Y/N).”

“Hi.” You breathed in return, closing your eyes as you felt your heartbeat sing out for his. “Welcome back, my love”

Kny characters with an s/o who has a big dog

Prompt: ok so you see how Obanai has his snake all the time?, well that’s you expect you have a big ass dog for my Naruto fans kinda like Kiba and Akamaru

Characters: Zenitsu,Inosuke, Giyuu, Obanai, and Mitsuri

Warnings: None

Notes: d/n stands for dogs name and I’m still working on all requests sent to me ^^

Zenitsu

- Thought he saw death itself upon seeing your dog for the first time

- Who can blame him? the dog was hugeeeee

- D/n was almost as tall as him, so Zenitsu believes he had every right to be afraid

- Zenitsu is really bad at dealing with the situation though, every time he sees d/n he runs the opposite direction, then your dog thinking he’s playing would run after him and always end up tackling him.

- Making poor Zenitsu more afraid

- You can’t even count the amount of times you come home and see Zenitsu on top of a tree shaking and d/n barking at him to come down

- It took him a really long time to get comfortable with d/n but there was one situation that speeded up the process

- You guys were fighting a demon and the demon was about to attack Zenitsu but d/n swooped in and saved him (your dog is trained to fight demons don’t question it) From then on Zenitsu loved and appreciated your dog

- He’d now always want to be near d/n, always asking if they’re going on the mission this time, if he can take them on a walk, if they can sleep on the futon with you two today etc etc

- The friendship between the two is honestly adorable you’ll always find Zenitsu laying or sitting on top of d/n as they give him a piggyback ride 😭

Inosuke

- Saw your dog and wanted to fight them

- I mean gotta give him the benefit of the doubt he sees a big animal and think it’s a challenge

- There was definitely more that one occasion where you have to shout at Inosuke to not attack d/n

- Over time ( after a lot of counseling from you and Tanjiro) Inosuke finally understands he is not supposed to fight your dog

- And from that arose a beautiful friendship 😌

- Inosuke is the most feral and energetic person on the planet and d/n loves that about him

- Inosuke and your dog does everything together. They sleep together, wake up at the same time, go on random adventures, eat together ( you and d/n are the only ones Inosuke willingly shares his food with) they even train together

- His favorite thing to do with d/n is play in the rain for hours and hours everyday or go swimming in a lake

- And when they come back inside they would just be knocked out sleeping on the floor all dirty with mud

- Your own dog is probably closer with Inosuke because they see Inosuke as another animal rather than a human 😂

- You better be ready to clean up after the two because they can be messy

Giyuu

- So like Obanai, Giyuu didn’t exactly like your dog, welll the dislike wasn’t as bad as Obanai’s but still

- The only reason he didn’t like the dog was because the dog would always growl and bite him

- The two fought a lot....well the fights were kinda one-sided because while d/n would pull on Giyuu’s clothes or bark at him Giyuu just stands there very much annoyed

- Since Giyuu barley smiled d/n just saw Giyuu as a threat and hated him

- butttt after you and Giyuu started dating your dog started to see how nice Giyuu actually was and started to like him

- Giyuu too started to like your dog since he was now being nice to him but Giyuu would never admit it

- Often times you would see Giyuu talking to your dog he’ll ask them if they wanted to go on a walk or wanted a treat or maybe about how their day was 😭

- yeaaa he’ll have some deep conversations with d/n because ( excluding you) they’re the only one who listens

- He also give them lots of tummy scratches

- You always find Giyuu and d/n all snuggled up in his futon sleeping

- Sorry but your dog took your place as Giyuu’s cuddle buddy and since d/n is so big it barely has space for you 😔

Obanai

- Absolutely hated your dog in the beginning

- When you two started dating he would always tell you to keep your dog far away from him

- He really only said that because he was afraid that Kaburamaru would be afraid of your dog due to its large size or d/n would try and attack the snake , he also didn’t like it because your dog had way too much energy for Obanai’s liking

- Always called your dog awful names like slimy and stinky T.T

- But once he sees your dog means no harm to Kaburamaru and it was actually making you upset by how much he hated your dog he eventually softened up to him

- Even though he doesn’t exactly hate your dog as much as he use to he still doesn’t like d/n close to him and he’ll only give them one or two head pats and it’s always awkward

- Despite Obanai not really liking d/n, your dog still loves him and every time they see him they’ll jump on him and lick his face, seeing that Obanai’s kinda short your dog can easily overpower him

Mitsuri

- You already know she already loves your dog

- I mean is it possible for her to hate anything????

- Be aware your dog would probably follow her around a lot because she always gives d/n treats or whatever food she’s eating

- Always calling your dog a good boy/girl

- Loves taking you and your dog to the park

- Would definitely learn how to make dog treats for them

- After a long day of training you and Mitsuri like to lay on d/n, under a tree and it’s always comfortable because d/n is like a giant pillow. Here’s a visual representation kinda:

- She would treat d/n more like a child that an actual dog and will alway take the blame for them

You: awwww come on d/n, bad dog!

Mitsuri: Y/n-Chan wait!, they didn’t do it, it was me

Y/n: ummm you bit my shoe?

Mitsuri: ......

He would yell

But not at you, more or less he is yelling at himself

“Why did I have to let you in!?”

but when he see’s you in the forest getting your butt kicked by Zenitsu

He attacks his friend and starts yelling at him to leave you alone

You guy’s got back together but kept your relationship on the low-key

not that it isn’t already, Inosuke isn’t really one for PDA

He tries to understand but sometimes you guy’s just don’t agree

I mean how could you not be mad at him sometimes when Inosuke is literally covered in blood of the demons you made friends with!?

Shinobu:

pretty passive-aggressive

Your relationship through would be more tension

She always carried around a weapon and your here like ???

”How many people have you killed y/n?”

Push and pull all the way

She wants to let go of you in a nice way but you want to get along and still stay together

”come on! You said you waned to become friends with a demon!”

Shinobu stops talking to you and everyone doesn’t trust you

Tanjiro doesn’t like Shinobu at ALL so he starts to hang out with you in spite of her

He really didn’t have to but you reminded him of his family

You start to open up to Tanjiro and say how everything has taken a turn since Shinobu told Kagaya about you being a demon

Tanjiro and Nezuko start to play match-maker and you guys get together

Tanjiro:

honestly out of all of these he is the most chill

Really he could care less

Since his sister is a demon and all of that

But when he see’s that you have to eat people he starts to give you human meat form the leftover’s that the other demons couldn’t get to

starts being over-protective of you all of a sudden

”Wanna say that to my face?”

Since he is apart from the Hashira it gets pretty overwhelming for both him and you

Like Inosuke he would show up with the blood of demons you had become fond of/have becomes friends with

but y'all never get into fights (#healthyrelationship)

It’s more or less of a “scratch my back and I scratch yours”

He doesn’t tell anybody you are a demon and gives you food

While you give him information about how to kill a demon and also tell him what he is doing wrong in his stances

Mitsuri:

she is blinded by love so she doesn’t even really care like at all

Unlike the others the relationship doesn’t change at all

“Why would I treat you differently? It’s not like you are never gong to harm me!”

Opposites attract thing

She ask you a lot of questions

“What do humans taste like? Are there any special moves that you have? Who is hotter Rui or Yushiro?”

And you’re here like

“Why do you want to know these things?”

because we all know the answer is Rui

She doesn’t tell anybody although she may hint at it from time to time

last night i was doing the raven method but modified and my vision started flashing and my body felt weightless, i wasnt sure what to do other than keep affirming so it made me panic + lose symptoms, this is the closest ive gotten in months :0 do you have any tips on how to not panic when you start to actually shift?

How not to panic when you start to actually shift:

keep in mind this is just how I did it, everyone is different and has there own ways of doing thing!

1. Roll your eyes to the top of your head (it seems weird but trust me)

2. Imagine your comfort character waiting for you

3. Beforehand make sure you have nothing to stress over (like missing assignments, messy room, etc)

you are so close babes I can feel it! Stay focused on your goal and never forget that your comfort character is waiting :))

➥ synopsis || the reader hesitantly comes out as trans to the kamaboko squad, nervous to what they’ll think and say; here is how they would react.

➥ kamado tanjirou:

- Tanjirou has a great sense of smell, so there’s no hiding your anxiety/nervousness about coming out. He’s most certainly going to ask you what’s wrong, nothing but concerned for your state of being.

- As you’re explaining and officially coming out to him, he’s very attentive; nodding and making sure you knew he was listening.

- He knows this must be very hard and nerve-wracking for you, so he lets you finish speaking before responding himself.

- Tanjirou, being the sweetheart he is, immediately reassures you that he thinks no different of you and still loves you through and through!

- If he’s honest, he’s a bit surprised. The boy definitely wasn’t expecting this, but regardless he’s very glad that you’re happy with who you are and honored that you trust him enough with this information.

- Expect lots of words of support and small actions of comfort/affection. Tanjirou immediately pulls you into a hug, rubbing your back as he tells you how proud he is of you, and how the information you told him will stay between you two (unless/until you tell the others; he knows it’s not in his place). He’d hold both your hands to his chest as he promises you that nothing has changed between the two of you, giving you his infamous gentle smile.

- Like he promised, nothing changes between you two. Everything is as it was before, and unless you want to talk about the topic at hand, he won’t even bring it up. It just goes to show he doesn’t mind what so ever and supports you all the way!

➥ kamado nezuko

- When it comes to Nezuko as a demon, she doesn’t really have a true understanding of anything that’s going on around her; she goes with her emotions and the emotions she’s picking up around her. Of course, she can tell when there’s danger and understand basic conversations. But other than that, all she really can understand is protect, sleep, and head pats.

- So you wouldn’t outright come out to her, knowing she probably wouldn’t understand regardless. It happens by accident, kind of.

- She spends her days in a dark room of the butterfly mansion as the others are healing, either sleeping or doing her own thing. You’re probably pacing around the room, trying to plan out how to officially tell the other boys and properly come out to them.

- Nezuko notices your distress from where she was playing with a handkerchief you gave to her after one of your missions.

- “Hmmmph!”

- In other words, she’s grabbing your attention, looking lost to why you’re pacing. In a “hey! what are you doing?” kind of way.

- When you didn’t notice her attempts, she huffs, hopping off the bed and making her way to you. She’s in her small form currently, trying to regain her energy but wanting to be awake to be in your company.

- You’d feel her tug at your uniform, making several muffled questionable noises at your pacing. If you tried to brush her off, telling her “it’s nothing”, she’s calling you out on your bull and tugging you to the bed.

- Sit criss-cross and watch her crawl into your lap as a toddler would do to an older sibling (for she saw you as another big brother), grabbing your arms and making it so you were hugging her.

- This gives you no room but to explain yourself, so you did. As you come out to her and explain how you’re nervous to tell the others, she’d.. not be the most understanding.

- Understanding as in she doesn’t comprehend what you’re telling her. But she does her best to listen, feeling how important this is to you and how anxious you’re reacting.

- She cuts you off of a nervous ramble of all the bad outcomes with a head-pat to your head, closing her eyes with a small “hmhmph!” coming from under her muzzle.

- Expect a good ole Kamado hug, tiny edition. And she’s not letting you go, not even when it was time for dinner.

- She calms you, knowing in your heart that even if she’s not completely aware, she still loves you and hopefully the others will as well (they will of course).

- Before you have to go, she grips onto your sleeve and pulls the muzzle off her mouth, giving you a sharp toothed smile. Before you can tell her to put it back on, that you don’t want anyone to see her with it off, but she gets one word out with the biggest beaming smile.

- “Oniisan!” (“Big Brother!”)

- .... and pats her head. She wants head pats too. Nothing’s changed, you’re still the best head pat giver she knows.

➥ !! spoilers for chapter 204 !! bonus: after the final battle, if you were to come out to a now human Nezuko, she’d react much like Tanjirou; just a lot more bubbly with more bright smiles. Unlike Tanjirou, she’d be more.. “aggressively” supportive. Basically, she wouldn’t hesitate to throw hands at anyone who says something purposely ignorant. It’s terrifyingly sweet; no one messes with her big brother.

➥ hashibira inosuke

- Inosuke has very sensitive skin, so he’s getting goosebumps from the anxiety your giving off. It annoys and confuses him, not understanding what’s going on for you to be so nervous.

- “Oi! You’re making my skin prickly!! Stop that!!”

- It’s his way of asking what’s wrong, wanting to know how to stop it.

- Your anxiety hits an all time high as you let it out, officially coming out to him.

- ... But he doesn’t know what “trans” means, so he’s confused. He stands there, blinking under his pig mask.

- “... What? What the hell is that?” He may sound brash, but he just hates not understanding things. He wants to understand more than everyone else, after all, so don’t take it personally.

- After a long bit of explaining it clearly to him, you two are sitting on the ground, Inosuke with his hands in his lap as he stares at you.

- He’s surprisingly silent the whole way through, and not being able to see his true facial expression just makes you all the more nervous.

- If you were to nervously ask him to take his mask off, you were expecting a hard no. What you weren’t expecting was for him to hesitate for only a moment before taking it off, setting it down in to his lap.

- Inosuke’s eyebrows would be furrowed, his mouth turned down as he looked at you closely. Bracing yourself, he responded.

- “So?”

- That definitely isn’t what you would be expecting.

- Now he didn’t mean this in any negative connotation at all. He fully understands what it means now and what you told him - and to note he’s completely fine with it - he’s just confused to why it’s such a big deal. (If anything he respects you even more, finding you extremely strong.)

- Inosuke doesn’t care how you were born or what you choose to be; at the end of the day you’re his favorite sparring partner! Plus, he has to keep you around. He wants to understand the warm fuzzies he gets in his tummy when you do nice things for him.

- “Doesn’t matter what you are, I can still kick your ass!!” He says as he tackles you to the ground.

- All’s well ends well, and much like Tanjirou, it seems nothing would change between you two.

➥ agatsuma zenitsu

- The high-pitched anxiety sound emitting from you is giving Zenitsu a headache; he’ll make sure to complain about it loudly so you know.

- If you apologized for it while fidgeting, he’ll soften his whining tone and ask why you’re so nervous anyways? It’s day, so it’s not like you have demons to fear.

- You hesitate, stuttering around the topic before officially coming out, explaining that to him and why you’re so nervous.

- Zenitsu.. definitely was not expecting that. He’d go wide-eyed, clearly shocked at the information.

- “HUH??? YOU’RE WHAT???”

- If you were to flinch at his shouts, he’d pause and look to you; watching how you curled up on yourself, scared you looked for a bad reaction.

- Instead he immediately goes to reassure you.

- “IM SORRY!! I-I didn’t mean it like that!! PROMISE! I just wasn’t expecting that!! I wouldn’t ever have guessed!!- I MEAN-!!” He’s talking way to fast for you to even understand, so the more you looked lost the more Zenitsu feared he messed up the trust you must’ve had for him in order to tell him that.

- Eventually he’d break down, getting on his hands and knees while bowing his head to the floor, gripping your pant leg all while begging you to forgive him.

- You’re the one who originally needed comfort here, not him. Smh Zenitsu.

- In all seriousness, reassure him that he’s ok. He meant no harm by his reaction, he just tends to be over-dramatic with his reactions and emotions.

- Once he’s calm, he’d sniffle and be sitting next to you, shoulder to shoulder.

- Zenitsu gives it a few minutes before asking questions, making sure he’s understanding 100% and not getting anything wrong.

- The blonde-boy knows about how hard struggles in life can be; he’s struggled his whole life when it comes to finding a home and a place of belonging, being homeless for the first 3/4’s of the life he’s lived so far. He knows he can’t compare his struggles to the things you must’ve gone through, but he can clearly and easily sympathize.

- He reassures you that he thinks no different of you, if anything he admires the way you could be so brave about it.

- It’s a quiet moment between the two of you as Zenitsu continues his rambles (still scared he ruined whatever is between you two a moment ago), circling over the same couple topics; how he supports you, will support you through anything, that he sees you no differently and that nothing will change.

- Please place your hand over his mouth or he’ll keep going all day; his anxiety rambles are said to last hours.

- This has only made you two closer, the others finding you and Zenitsu sticking/hanging around each other more and more frequently. In the end, your happy you told him.

Demon Slayer characters celebrating your birthday

I decided to do those because my birthday will be soon and I'm really stressed cos a lot of bad things have happened already:') so I've done these for comfort!

Characters: Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Rengoku and Mitsuri

Warings: none- pure fluff, modern au and well- its not proof read-

Tanjiro

He would definitely want to surprise you so he had carefully planned anything a week or so before

Tanjiro will be awake before you because he's planned on making you your favourite breakfast, he will gently nudge your shoulder in order to wake you up, smiling as he handed you a plate of your favourite food that he himself has prepared

"Good morning my beloved, Happy birthday" he would smile and kiss your forehead gently

After you finished eating Tanjiro would put your plate away before handing you a neatly wrapped present, he certainly picked a few things you have mentioned before along with some other things he thought you may like

When you started unwrapping the present he got a bit nervous wondering if what he has gotten you was too little or too much and if it was to your liking

Once he sees you smile and being genuienly happy for the gift Tanjiros heart would skip a beat, he's just so glad you like his gift

The rest of the day would be spend at home doing whatever you wanted to do whether it was cuddling, watching a movie, dancing in the livingroom etc- Tanjiro would happily do it with you.

If you want to eat somewhere be sure Tanjiro will gladly take you there and pay for the food himself. If you want to go somewhere else like a town center and want to get snacks and other things Tanjiro is paying for them before you can even grab your wallet

He wants you to feel loved and appreciated on your birthday and of course he does want to spoil you just a little bit

Zenitsu

Zenitsu definitely planned your birthday months ahead- he wanted to make sure its more than perfect

He reserved a table at one of the most over the top restaurants, bought you a bouquet of your favourite flowers and certainly got you a really expensive gift, one that you mentioned wanting but said its too pricey

He would not be able to sleep the night before your birthday, he'd be going through way too many emotions to even be able to think about sleeping-

The moment you open your eyes Zenitsu is basically on his knees before you handing you the gift and bouquet of flowers "Y/n- chan Happy Birthday! I love you"

He is not taking no as an answer- he will force them to help him out. He sends Zenitsu to get a cake and Tanjiro to purchase food

He will never admit to forgetting about your birthday-

He takes you to a park to have a picnic, he didnt have too much time to get you something big he got you something small and meaningful. Something that could remind you of him whenever the two of you are appart

He certainly feels bad he nearly forgot about your birthday so to make up for it he will act just a bit softer and more affectionate

Rengoku

Rengoku will wake you up early because he has a full day prepared for the both of you.

He will take you somewhere to eat and then he will take you somewhere fun where you could have an adventure

Depending if you prefer crowded places or not he will take you to either an amusement park or something similar to it or for a hike

No matter what you prefer Rengoku will want to ensure you have fond memories of your birthday or generally whenever you two are together

In the evening he will probably just want to lay down with you and relax, either watching a movie or just talking

I feel like Rengoku is more of a person who enjoys quality time spent together rather than giving gifts but for this occasion, he spend a lot of time (and with the help of Mitsuri and Tengen) he gets you a nice piece of jewlery that he will give you by the end of the day when the two of you are just relaxing at home

Mitsuri

Poor baby was so excited about spending time with you for your birthday- she wanted to let you sleep in but she really couldnt help waking you up by hugging you and pretty much yelling "My love! Happy Birthday!" as she nuzzled her face into your shoulder

She starts the day off by taking you to a restaurant and insisting on paying for everything you both get herself

She has a gift already prepared for you- its gonna be a matching piece of jewlery (like those necklaces that come in two pieces but when you put them together they create a full heart-) and she intends on giving it to you by the end of the day but she cant wait- she hands you your present while you're still at the restaurant

After you've finished eating Mitsuri will take you both to a hot spring to relax, she reserved a private spring for the both of you

While in there she will gently masage your shoulders, tell you how nuch she loves you and so on

Once you both get home Mitsuri got one last activity for you two to make together- baking!

She will let you pick what you want to bake and the two of you will do it together and if you really dont like cooking she will do it all by herself while you sit down and watch her do it

[ Tanjiro Headcanons To Fuel The Fluff/Angst Tank ]

He Is Baby™ thank you very much and i love him with my whole heart

- hi hello i would like to share my thoughts on this baby cause i love him v much

- he gives me the vibe that he would def love anything strawberry related. like strawberry milk, strawberry shortcake, strawberry yogurt- the list goes ON

- he would eat them more often if they weren't so godamn expensive, and most of the time you can only find those kinds of products when in the city and he mostly travels through the woods rather than through heavily populated areas. he does get them when he can though, and usually has some stocked up when he and nezuko leave rural areas

- thats not the only fruit he likes though! hes also a huge fan of cherries but he gets those even less since they're even MORE expensive. he also very much likes mint chocolate chip icecream! something about the clash of dark chocolate and refreshing mint is just so good to him, and usually he’ll try to look for that specific flavor if theres any icecream places nearby. my basis for that?

- thankfully though he doesnt really buy things from others since he just gets most of his food from the surrounding forest. you see, tanjiro literally lived in the woodlands for most of his early life before the whole 'incident', so hes accustomed to being more of a hunter-gatherer when it comes to those sorts of things

- he knows a whole bunch of stuff about forest plants and topography for that reason specifically, and can make food out of pretty much nothing due to having to go through some rough winter times that required scavenging

- overall though hes a pretty good cook! his father and mother both liked to cook and bake and all that before they died, and, being eager to help and learn, he usually watched them when they did or asked to help with preparing the food

- he actually probably has a lot of domestic skills, now that i think about it. things like sewing up ripped clothing or repairing damaged items are almost muscle memory to him since he was raised to value what he had and not aimlessly spend his money due to his humble beginnings

- he’s actually more comfortable with simple things rather than lavish ones since thats what he grew up with. being a demon slayer means that he does get commissioned to do things sometimes or paid for it, but he usually gives most of his money to poeple who need it after spending some of what he has on more efficient and useful things like better fabric for clothes and repairs for things that he doesn't have the skill set to fix himself

- due to this humble attitude he has for things, he barely ever really treats himself to things he enjoys. he usually puts others before himself and thus forgets about his own needs, leading him to often deny taking care of himself if he deems to 'not have enough time' or 'not being important enough”

- usually forcing him to sit down and eat or at least take a moment to drink some tea can calm his nerves a ton, even if its only just for a second

- i'm pretty sure that his favorite drink is green tea (or strawberry milk), actually. its just so naturally calming and relaxing that he usually uses it as a staple for calming himself down or taking a breather from the stressful life he's lead so far

- for someone that barely takes care of himself hes awfully adamant about others taking acare of themselves. oh, you haven't slept in three days because of work? guess what you're going to sleep right now. no, dont Mention how he keeps moving even though he should be in bed because of a broken rib, your needs come first now go to sleep

- deeefinitely the mom friend type in more ways then one. its p obvious that he already takes care of Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke as good friends of his, but hes kinda adamant on taking care of them almost like they're younger than him or something. this doesnt mean that they can’t take care of themselves of course, he just kinda feels the natural instinct to protect people he values if he can (mainly due to the fear that he’ll suddenly loose them without making it clear he cares about them first but we will unpack that suitcase LATER in the list)

-for that reason i can safely say that he's probably fantastic with kids because of his gentle nature. hes just so soft and pure that children naturally feel calm around him? its weird how like a baby will literally stop crying in a city full of people just because they saw tanjiro wave and smile at them and as SOON as hes out of eyesight they start crying again. also tanjiro holding a baby? you CANNOT tell me this man wouldnt softly sing some lullaby he remembers from his childhood to a child cradled in his arms, fast asleep. and the smile he gives to the person who finds him like that is BLINDING i cannot comprehend the purity-

-the EXACT same thing goes for animals. its straight up canon that he understands (to an extent) what birds are saying when they're chirping to one another, so its probably safe to assume that he might understand a little bit of what other animals may be saying when they communicate

- yet another effect of living in the forest most of his life and being way too observant at his age :p

- when dogs bark he responds to them out of instinct, knowing what they mean. when some pig just randomly snorts at him don't be surprised when he just says "oh, thank you!" in the most earnest tone possible because he probably knows what the animal said and is responding to it honestly. answering like he's pretending to know what it means would be dishonest, and thats too out of character for the sunshine boy

-its also gotta be mentioned that tanjiro physically rejects the concept of being dishonest. i swear to god I'm not making this up- when hes lying its so easy to tell because his face is physically rejecting the concept that hes not being sincere

-this goes for pretty much anything- he cant really blatantly lie without shifting in place or making a weird expression. its no expection that when asked about his feelings that he can barely keep a straight face by saying that he's "okay"

-theres just so much pent up grief and sorrow for so many things that its hard to really say that he's "just fine" or "alright" some days. the accumulation of trauma and guilt has lead up to this constant dread boiling in the pit of his stomach that he'll fail one day, and this would've been all for nothing

-he'll die one day without his goals being met, without Nezuko being healed, without his friends safe, without so many things that he thought he could fix that will eat him up until he fixes them. he doesn't have frequent depressive episodes all that often anymore since Sakonji helped him with that (kind of, it was kind of a group effort by his other superiors, the Pillars, too with some reassurance and advice since a good portion have Been There Done That with the survivor’s guilt and the like) in terms of teaching him how to meditate more frequently and search for positive outlets for his negative feelings. he helped him accept that it was okay to feel bad about it, but he couldn't give up, no matter what. because “What worth was your dream if you just gave up in the end?”

-and so he doesn't. he never gives up, on anything. he refuses to give up when his friends are in danger and the odds are against him, or when hes face to face with an eldritch demon who's been alive longer than the numbers he can count. tanjiro is incredibly persistent in his efforts, big or small, and makes a conscious decision every time to not abandon what he worked for because the phrase "What worth was your dream if you just gave up in the end?" motivates him to be better than who he was yesterday and try his best to reach his dreams

- because of this he's a heavy believer that most people can change. i say most because I'm pretty sure he knows Muzan will never change, or some of the other terrible people in the world. he's accepted over time that he can’t help everyone, but he'll be damned if he doesn't try his hardest in figuring ot if they are truly, genuinely, capable of being better. so he's incredibly supportive of people who actually do make efforts to improve themselves because he knows how hard it is to come from such a bad situation/bad mindset and reteach good values and habits

- that doesn't mean that poeple are expempt from their punishments of course- everyone deserves the consequences of their actions to be better to know what to improve on, but he has sympathy for the poeple who's consequences stop their lives short (example, countless demons that he feels terrible for because they came from really bad situations)

-since he knows how hard it is to improve on anything- he’s very very supportive to people who do that for themselves or for others. in fact, he would go out of his way for about anyone to make their life a little better but if he sees someone struggling their way to their personal best he'll happily be a help to them in any way that they can. oh, you were training really hard today and had no success in perfecting a certain technique? its alright, you can just lay down right now while he fixes your bath water and tomorrow he'll help you out with it in any way he can. hes the best cheerleader!

-overall tanjiro is very sweet and kind, even though he has personal problems with his own demons and feeling as if he's a burden most of the time. for all this suffering, he views the prosperity of the people around him worth it and is selfless to the end of the line for those whom he cares about

BAKUGOU KATSUKI

"Fucking hell, that shit took forever!" Bakugou complained, pushing his mask up that it pulls back the hair which normally falls in front of his forehead. His entire body ached, especially his arms. After a mission to infiltrate and arrest a group of yakuzas who were illegally transporting goods like weapons and drugs, he finally gets the opportunity to go home.

It felt like forever. He didn't even bother to take off his costume and instantly headed home. It was late at night so he didn't have to worry about civilians catching a glimpse of his true identity. Once Bakugou reached his apartment building, he was greeted by the security who worked 24/7 in which he responded with a grunt before trudging towards the elevator. He wasn't that surprised to find the living room completely dark with traces of cool air which meant you had been in there a few moments ago. You rarely go to sleep early, staying up late most of the time.

You stayed up late for a good damn reason. A few days ago, you came to realize that you're pregnant and you could vaguely remember how it happened. Your fingers came to rub your stomach as you laid down on the bed, trying to look presentable. The plan was to get Bakugou riled up to the point where clothes need to be shed. And to be honest, you know that it wasn't going to be that difficult. You picked up a random shirt that belonged to him, put on your favorite underwear and sat on the bed. You took a few deep breaths once you heard the front door open, which was a sign that Bakugou had reached home.

Ever so slowly, Bakugou made his way over to the door that led to your bedroom. The light from the shared bedroom was dim and you were laying on the bed with one of his t-shirts on. And with the way you're laying gave him little to the imagination. His shirts were always big on you, and something that he really likes seeing on you. It gets him riled up and seeing it makes him a bit more energised. 

"What's this? You stayed up just for me?" Bakugou tested, smirking at you. 

"Take a guess, baby." you giggled as he joined you on the bed, tossing his sweaty shirt aside and cupping your cheeks with his gloved hands. Years of being with you made him confident and he leaned in with confidence, capturing your lips as if it was something he did on a daily basis—and it was. His hands slipped underneath your shirt and he wasted no time getting rid of it for you.

There was red streaks across your stomach which disturbed him. Did you get injured or something? Was it blood? No, blood doesn't move that way. Bakugou narrowed his eyes and finally came to realize that those were words! You tried to suppress the grin that threatened to break out as you watch him process the words written on your belly.

Surprise, you're gonna be a dad. 

He was caught off guard, he hadn't expected it at all. It's almost impossible to tell what Bakugou was thinking with that blank look on his face.

"Surprise.....? Are you shocked.....?" you managed to squeak out after a few moments of silence. Your smile was a bit twitchy as you were unsure whether it was time to be happy when Bakugou doesn't seem to show any form of emotion. Was he not happy? You were surprised when he just decided to crush you with his entire weight.

"There were other ways that you could've told me this!" he growled against your ear, sounding a bit pouty instead of mad.

"So did the surprise work?" you asked.

"Yes it fucking did."

TODOROKI SHOUTO

After a long day at work, Todoroki always looked forward getting home. His apartment that he shared with you was always filled with warmth and a welcoming aura envelops him whenever he steps in. He wonders if it was because you were always there to welcome him home, either dressed in your casual clothes or clothes that you stole from his side of the closet or an apron. Today, he happened to arrive home while you're lounging in the living room, watching some random TV series on television. You were dressed casually, an oversized sweater that was clearly not yours because you looked like you were practically drowning in it. In your hands was a mug of hot [Favorite Drink], from the way smoke was rising from within, it was clear that it was still piping hot.

"I'm home." Todoroki stepped closer towards you, pressing a kiss onto your forehead while your attention was still on the television screen.

"Welcome home." you smiled as Todoroki sank down on the couch next to you. He let out an exhausted groan, feeling his entire body relax the moment he sat on the couch. You placed down your drink and scooted closer to your boyfriend, offering him the blanket laying on your lap.

"How was your day at work? Did anything happen?" you asked.

"Just the normal stuff. Patrolling and all that. There were no villain activities of the sort." he replied, turning his head to your direct to see you smiling at him. He instinctively reached for your cheek, cupping them in his hands to realize how cold they actually are.

"How about you, love?" he hummed.

"Oh! I spent my afternoon making these!" you pulled out a jar from underneath the coffee table and placed them atop the table.

"Fortune cookies?" Todoroki tilted his head in confusion. 

"I made them while following this one Youtube video. It was kinda boring without you here and I got sick of being a couch potato, watching television all day. So I decided to bake something simple." you watched as your lover picked up a few pieces of the fortune cookies and inspected them closely. Each and every one of them was different in terms of design. Some had sprinkles, sesame seeds and whatnot.

"Oh, crack them open in order! Here!" you hastily pulled the cookies from the jar, lining them up and motioning Todoroki to open them from right to left.

"There's a surprise inside them." you said whilst arranging them.

Todoroki seemed a bit confused but decided to go with it anyway. You seemed so excited and nervous, whatever the surprise is, it appeared that you spent a lot of time and effort on it. And he was not going to let that go to waste. He followed your instructions and ended up cracking them open one by one to find a tiny piece of paper within the shell. So far, there was nothing out of the ordinary and it seemed like the surprise was written on the paper. When he unfolded the paper, he was surprised. But he was certain that it was not the surprise you expected from him. There was only a single word which only confused him.

"You gotta crack them all, silly!" 

He shifted his attention back to the fortune cookies laid out on the table and began cracking open every single piece of the cookie. It all began to make sense when he pieced more together. 'You are going to be a......There's one left so this will reveal it all.' Todoroki was holding onto the last piece of paper as he studied your expression. He carefully unfolded the paper and saw a single word that left him speechless. His eyes were now on you and all you could do was fidget on the couch, hoping that Todoroki was just as excited as you were.

"Surprise? Are you shocked by the news?" you attempted to lighten the mood by being lively but Todoroki kept silent. You shut your mouth, already scolding yourself for being too extra.

"Our baby is growing inside here?" he muttered in surprise.

"Yes, ours." you smiled fondly.

TOMIOKA GIYUU

"I'm back."

"Oh, Giyuu, how did it go? Was everything alright in the village?" you approached the male who came back from his mission. Earlier that day, he was dispatched to a nearby village to dispose of a demon that had been attacking villagers at night. The problem was solved quickly without any casualties. Giyuu had a few scratches here and there, nothing to major but in need of cleaning. 

As someone who worked in the Butterfly Estate, you assist in the demon slayers' recovery process, help the injured demon slayers reach top condition and make sure they're comfortable. You were holding onto a tray of food that was supposed to be for the injured people that just came in yesterday. Giyuu smiled softly at you, his shoulders relaxing as he walked down the hall together with you towards the room where the injured people were in. The two of you have been together for a few years now and instead of working in the front lines, you handled the well-being of the demon slayers. You finished your duties and sat next to Giyuu who was sitting outside with a cup of tea beside him. He handed you over a cup as soon as you sat down.

"How was your day?" Giyuu was the first one to break the silence. Over the years, the male had grown to be more active in terms of communication. He's a man of very few words and has trouble interacting with others, how you managed to break him out of his shell was still unclear to you but seeing him more sociable made you happy.

Your relationship with the Water Pillar was a really slow one and only a handful of people knew about it at first. And you assumed it was because of how often Giyuu would leave for a mission and do errands for Oyakata-sama. Thankfully, your lover had came back with little to no injuries but you brought a small first aid kit to tend to his minor injuries. Throughout the entire time of your treatment, you went on about your day, talking about how Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu were being loud and wild.  You gave more attention to the small cut on his cheek, moving his hair aside and cleaning the wound.

"Everything's well, everyone isn't injured that much, thankfully. Actually, there's something I want to give you. Now that you're back from your mission....." you rose from your position and made your way over inside. Giyuu shifted in his spot, turning around to see you pulling a neatly wrapped box from the shelves.

"What is this?" he asked, his hands holding onto the box firmly. You smiled sweetly at the black-haired male.

"There's no fun in telling you, open it up for yourself." you urged. Giyuu nodded and began unwrapping the box. It was a box like any other and it wasn't easy to tell what the contents were unless one opens it. Once he got the lid off, he was a bit surprised to see baby products. Inside the box, there was a small set of clothing that was perfect size for an infant as well as a baby bottle. 

".....Did someone from the village donate this?"

"No! Jeez, you're really clueless, Giyuu...." you sighed.

"Huh? So you bought these yourself? Why would you buy this when you're not even......" Giyuu finally came to realize the message that you were trying to pass him. He froze and you could tell by the way his entire body become rigid.

"You finally realize it, don't you? Seriously, sometimes you're so slow with these kind of things." you sighed softly.

"Really? Are you really.....?" it's almost as if the word was a forbidden one, Giyuu hadn't even said the word once he came to realize that you were pregnant.

"Yes, I am. I have confirmed it with Kanao and Aoi. It's been only three weeks so there's not much signs of it physically." you held onto Giyuu's hand, guiding it to your stomach.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" 

"I don't know, we have no idea of determining the gender."

"I guess that doesn't matter. It's our child. No matter what gender, they'll be special." Giyuu gave you one of his rare smiles.

Muichiro:

Your eyes fluttered open, mind still groggy with sleep while the sun's rays peaked passed the horizon outside. Absentmindedly, your fingers crawled to the opposite side of the bed looking for the warmth of your boyfriend. “What the hell..?” the bed was empty on the other side, the sheets already cold. Your brows furrowed as your bleary eyes scanned the room, there was zero trace of your boyfriend. “Muichiro is never up before me…” you muttered before noticing a small piece of parchment paper torn on his bedside table.

‘I’ll be back later’

A dry laugh escaped your lips, “What else was I expecting?” you groaned  “Today will be just like last year” you pushed yourself out of bed dreading the rest of the day.

The day dragged on without a word from your boyfriend. Every once in a while you’d receive a merry “Happy Birthday” from your friends. You appreciated it, but every time you heard those two words your chest tightened a bit more. “He’s forgotten every year so get over it!” you reminded yourself. Three birthdays have passed since you started dating Muichiro and each year was the same. Every year you grew more hopeful, sure that that was going to be the year things would change, but to know avail.

“I’m home” you called as you kicked off your shoes. Off in another room, you could hear the sound of someone frantically moving objects. “Muichiro?” you warily called, inching closer to the noise while gripping the hilt of your blade. Your breath hitched and your eyes welled with tears, “Oh Muichrio”

Muichiro stood awkwardly with his long tresses tied back in a loose bun (a look you adored), clutching a bouquet of daffodils. “Here” he thrust the flowers into your trembling fingers. Suddenly, you wrapped him in a tight embrace. You spent some time tucked into each other, Muichiro rubbing soothing circles into your back. “I thought you forgot” you cried pulling away, you couldn’t help but play with the strands of hair that weren’t pulled back. He smiled guiltily, “I didn’t say anything since I wanted it to be a surprise”

Truthfully, Muichiro felt awful about always forgetting your special day. Once the seasons changed, he reminded himself everyday of your birthday, a constant countdown he never allowed himself to ignore or forget. He was scared; he didn’t want you to give  up on him, but it wasn’t fair that you always had to be the one waiting to see if he remembered something important.

“This is also for you” Muichiro looked away bashfully, handing over a gold box. Carefully, you opened the lid “It’s gorgeous” you marveled, delicately tracing the unique pattern of the sapphire stones. “I’m sorry if I ruined our day by ignoring you, I wanted to make sure I had everything to make things perfect” he faced the floor while he spoke. You brought his face towards your, hovering just by his lips. “Muichiro you could never ruin today, you only make things better” you passionately kissed his smooth lips, ingraining this moment to memory. 

Muichiro isn’t perfect, but there isn’t a single other person you’d want to spend the rest of your life with.

Rengoku:

You sprung out of bed before the sun even breathed its first breath of the day, beaming as you stretched the grogginess away. The snores of your spirited boyfriend rumbled beside you, his slumped form invading the space you once occupied. It took everything in your power to not laugh at Rengoku’s overgrown form sprawled out, his limbs bent in directions that could not possibly be comfortable.

You spent the early hours quietly finishing the house chores; Rengoku had been so busy lately that you’d feel awful waking him up even if it was your birthday. All you wanted was to spend the day alone with your beloved, making up for all the conversations, hugs, and kisses you two had missed with his busy schedule. Just as you finished washing last night's dishes, a pair of muscular arms coiled around your waist, his face buried into the crook of your neck. “Princess why are you up so early?” god his morning voice would be the death of you, “Figured I’d let you sleep a little” you whispered.

Rengoku hummed, the vibration of his voice shaking you to your core. His unruly bedhead tickled your skin as he trailed his nose along the length of your neck, his plush lips ghosting over your skin “Rengoku we haven't even had breakfast” your voice was unsteady, warmth already spreading throughout your body at his small ministrations. “I can think of something I wanna eat” he teased, nipping at your earlobe with just enough pressure to have you holding your breath.

Your body was flipped against the counter, Rengoku wasted no time spreading your legs to nuzzle his thick thigh between them. His eyes were wild, fully aware of the effect he was having on you, it only fueled his lust. “Princess it's your day, let me show you how much I love you” he ground your clothed mound against his thigh, just brushing that special spot inside you. You mewled lightly, your body tensing at the sensation. “Bed or couch?” you asked breathlessly. His chuckled deep, a devilish smirk matching the glint in his eyes as he reached for the hem of your shirt

“Why not both? Beside, I thought we could  start right here”

Inosuke: 

“Why is Y/n out with that tall freak again?” Inosuke grumbled for the third time, pouting childishly on the floor with his arms crossed. “It’s Y/n’s birthday and we are throwing a surprise party” Tanjiro reminded, carrying the cake he had learned to bake from his mother, “Don’t be rude to Uzui-san either, we had to beg him to take Y/n with him on his mission so that we could do all this”.

You’d been gone since yesterday morning and the idea that you’d spent the night near another man made Inosuke’s skin crawl. Clingy wasn’t exactly what you’d call Inosuke, but possessive? When that switch was flipped he became full of jealousy. “Maybe Y/n-chan spent the night wrapped in his huge arms, I’m sure she’d like that for her birthday” Zenistu taunted Inosuke as he put up decorations. “Shut it, Achoo!” Inosuke pelted a rock, hitting the poor boy square in the forehead. “That's not even close to my name” Zenitsu cried, rubbing the sore spot on his face that was sure to swell.

Truthfully Inosuke didn’t know how to handle your birthday; he’s never celebrated one of his own so he was super misinformed on the whole situation. Tanjiro had to explain it to him and still he didn’t know what gift to get you or how to act.

Night had already fallen when you returned home, you stood outside thanking the Hashira, still unaware of the party waiting inside, “Thank you Uzui-san for asking me to come with you, I learned a lot”. Uzui grinned while picking you up high off the ground in a bone crushing hug, “Don’t worry about it Y/n! Your a dear to have around, I’d have to ask you to come along again soon” “I’d be more than welcome to it”

Inosuke, who had refused to go inside with the others for your ‘protection’, jumped at the familiar sound of your voice-- he’d never say it aloud but he missed you. He froze when he spotted you being held by Uzui, fury bubbling up from his stomach. He marched over with his fist clenched, “Oi!” he shouted. You didn’t even notice Inosuke’s hostility as you detach yourself from the big man, jumping straight into Inosuke. Uzui held a knowing smirk, “Don’t worry little piggy, I return her safe and sound” Inosuke narrowed his eyes as he held you to his side. Uzui turned to leave waving his hand as a farewell, “Happy Birthday Y/n!” “Thanks?” you never mentioned it was your birthday.

“Come on Inosuke, let's go inside!” you pulled the stubborn boy along, throwing the door open only to be met with a rowdy group yelling “Surprise!”

The party was phenomenal, the room was filled with so much joy and laugher, something you all desperately needed. Your smile refused to fall from your cheeks, even as you lay in bed “Today was really great” you reminisced, talking to the back that was facing away from you. Inosuke couldn’t shake the image of you with Uzui, damn Zenitsu for opening his stupid mouth. Inosuke turned to face you finally, your eyes drooping from sleep already. Inosuke made a rash decision as he stared at your adorable face, gathering you in his bare arms. “Oh!” you yelped in surprise, Inosuke wasn’t really one to initiate cuddles but you weren’t complaining.

“You’re really comfortable” you breathed into his chest, his natural scent filling your senses. “My arms are a hell of a lot better than those giants” you paused, finally understanding what was going on. “Uzui is a great friend and mentor, but I don’t love anyone more than you. I never could” Inosuke clung onto every whisper of a word, holding you tighter as the seconds passed. You sat up and placed a small peck on the tip on his nose, scooching right back into his warm hold. “Good night Inosuke” you cooed, closing your eyes.

“Happy birthday Y/n”

Shinobu: (Ugh she needs more love)

Believe it or not, Shinobu was big on birthdays, especially yours. She remembers how she loved to celebrate with her sister and the other girls at the Estate, so she wanted the day to go as smoothly as possible. She planned a wonderful picnic in the garden and had even prepared the food for the special occasion.

“I’m ready!” you called gleefully, showing off your gorgeous new lavender sundress Shinobu had gifted you. “I knew purple was your color” Shinobu complimented, admiring the way the dress showed off your curves. “Let’s get going, I’d hate for the day to be a waste. I cleared my schedule just for you, you know” She teased, her hand caressing your flushed cheeks--Oh how she loved that look.

You walked hand in hand, Shinobu carrying the basket of goods while you excitedly rambled on about whatever came to mind. You two barely made it past the Estate gates when a group of medics holding stretchers of wounded soldiers came rushing toward you. Your smile faded as Shinobu’s hand left yours, already giving order to the medics, following them inside. “Shinobu?” you called quietly, “They need my help but I promise this won't be long” she smiled apologetically.

It couldn’t be helped; they needed her more than your silly lunch date did, but who had you forsaken that it had to happen on your birthday of all days. Shoulders slouched, you carried the abandoned basket off the ground, “I’ll just wait in her office, she promised” you wishfully thought.

You bitterly stabbed the fruit in your bowl, the fruit that was meant for your date, and shoved into your mouth. The sun was beginning to set and you still hadn't seen your girlfriend, you’d passed the time by eating the snacks one by one; alone. The commotion of working medics hasn't ceased for hours and slowly you’d lost complete hope of a more exciting day. Your back was beginning to ach from the stiff chair, yet you still waited patiently. Shinobu’s office was filled with piles of paper and books, so there was nothing left to do but stare out the window and eat.

The sound of the door sliding open pulled you from your thoughts, “Awww you didn’t leave me any food?” Shinobu greeted jokingly, sensing your frustration a mile away. You stabbed another piece of fruit, aggressively eating away at the sweet food. “I know you're upset, but I really didn’t mean for this to happen” she defended, feeling miserable about the whole ordeal. You softened, it really wasn’t Shinobu’s fault. “Sorry” you mumbled, staring at the roof. You didn’t bother looking down at the sound of her feet shuffling towards you.

You weren’t expecting to feel Shinobu’s full weight on your lap as she straddled your hips, her hand grasping your chin, pulling you down to face her. “I’m sorry I ruined your birthday, Beautiful,” she soothed, one hand combing through you hair while the other played with your bottom lip, “Please let me make it up to you” her sultry voice rung through your ears, her pink lips making their way across your jawline and down to that spot Shinobu lives to exploit. “Mmmmm” you whined loudly as she started sucking and lapping, working the tender skin till a reddish bruise formed.

The hand embedded in your hair pulled slightly, making sure to run her long nails against your scalp at each tug, eliciting another loud moan from your parted lips. “Shhhh Beautiful, if you're too loud I’ll make you wait till we get to the room later. I can only be so giving”. You knew better than that-then to believe that this would end once you two walked out of those office doors. As if reading your thoughts, Shinobu slid herself down your thighs and onto the floor, never ceasing to make eye contact, “I’ll work you for all you’ve got while we’re here” you bit your lip impatiently as you watched her pull your legs apart by your knees.

Shinobu definitely kept this promise, and gifted you with even more once you two made it the room.

Favorite character: Zenitsuuu! Tho Nezuko is a close second :D

Least Favorite character: So far, all of the Hashira except for Shinobu and Tomioka. Cuz we've just had this huge group of quirky characters all dropped in our lap at the same time, told they're the strongest ever and that we have to care about them. I'm kinda waiting to be given a reason to care about most of them.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Zenitsu/Nezuko, Zenitsu/Inosuke/Tanjiro, Zenitsu/Tanjiro, Zenistu/Inosuke, Tamayo/Yushiro

Character I find most attractive: Honestly? This is one of those series where I don't find the style very "attractive" in that sense

Character I would marry: I would marry the villain guy, cuz that seems to be the way to stay safe from him

Character I would be best friends with: Nezuko!!

a random thought: I really like that this series ended its first season with a long "downtime" arc focusing on the recovery of the main characters after the violence they've been through. You don't see that very often in shonen, basically forgoing a big season finale, and I prefer it this way.

An unpopular opinion: I mean, Zenitsu is my fave character and I gather that he's pretty unpopular, since he IS a whiny crybaby brat. But that's why I love him.

my canon OTP: Tamayo/Yushiro

Non-canon OTP: Zenitsu/Nezuko, unless they magically become canon later on :0

most badass character: Shinobuuu!

pairing I am not a fan of: I don't know the fandom enough to know about the ships. But I guess I didn't see the big deal with that Rengoku guy and I think people ship him with Tanjiro a lot, so maybe that?

character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): The Hashira, simply because they should've paced the introduction of these characters (like they did with Tomioka and Shinobu) to give them the impact they were going for.

favourite friendship: The main four characters have a super cute friendship!

character I want to adopt or be adopted by: Not Tanjiro's family lol

Senku/Gen

when of if I started shipping it: Pretty soon after Gen was introduced. I knew SenGen was a popular ship prior to Gen's appearance and it didn't take long for me to see why people love them.

my thoughts: SenGen is an excellent ship, no matter how you ship it. I like ace-aro Senku and Gen just cheerfully adopting to the role of Senku's house husband, since that seems to be what they're going for anyway.

What makes me happy about them: I've only seen up to s2 of the anime, but from what I've heard, even when the story cycles through flavour of the month companions for Senku, Gen ALWAYS sticks by Senku's side. And this makes me happy, cuz I hate in shonen when protag gets new friends that he suddenly starts to ignore the old cast (hello Yugioh GX). So, it's good for me to know that this won't happen with Senku and Gen.

What makes me sad about them: That it's probably not gonna be endgame, no matter how much more sense it makes than any other option, simply because shonen doesn't do that. :(

things done in fanfic that annoys me: I haven't read enough fanfics to know.

things I look for in fanfic: I just want to read silly fics based on the English dub with fun dialogue.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Senku will always be with science no matter what!! As for Gen, maybe the archer guy?

My happily ever after for them: I have no idea where this series is going, but I'd like to think that Senku uses science to continually improve society and Gen sticks by his side.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Gen WANTS to be the little spoon, but Senku doesn't get it, so Gen has to be the big spoon if he wants any cuddling at all.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Senku's is talking about science and Gen's is listening to Senku talking about science.

Icarus

How I feel about this character: After Momus, he's my next big fave new OC and definitely took the torch from Daichi for the "excitable unit who seems cheerful but has deeper issues than he wants anyone to know".

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Morpheus, ofc! But also definitely Apollo, Momus and Heracles. Icarus is just one of those characters who instantly has chemistry with others. I also still like Icarus/Zagreus simply because it didn't work out and Icarus has a pretty unique annoyance towards Zagreus.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: In "canon" for Greek myths it'd be Icarus & Asterius. I dunno about in the RPs, since Icarus is bad at making friends. Maybe Icarus & Hypnos, even if I wouldn't blame Hypnos for not wanting to see him again after The Wrong Name thing.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Icarus is cooler than his brother and Apollo is wrong for not seeing that!!

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Oh, I think lots of excellent things are going to happen for Icarus.

my het ship: Icarus x Tisiphone, at least with Icarus having his crush on Tisiphone. I doubt it's requited tho

my fem/slash ship: All of the ships mentioned above. Maybe also Eros depending on what happens.

my OTP: At the moment it's still Icarus x Morpheus, BUT WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH APOLLO. I also genuinely love the bonds he has with Momus and Heracles individually, so it's hard to choose.

a head cannon fact: Icarus will never successfully invent anything, but he excels on improving on inventions that already exist, especially Daedalus's work. He has no idea how useful this would make him in the modern era. He also has the potential to reach godhood, but is too caught up in the "I'm just a mortal" mantra from his father to even think about it.

Cat! Zenitsu x Reader

Afternoon Naps & Confessions

"PLEASE! I'M PRAYING! MARRY ME BEFORE I DIE! I DON'T WANNA DIE ALONE!!" Zenitsu yelled after yet another woman after she had given him enough money to buy the food he was trying to get with not enough money. You were sulking in embarrassment, waiting for the woman to reject him and kick his ass, so you could drag the desperate boy back to the butterfly estate, as you had come to the conclusion that you would never go to the town with him ever again. Never. You only wanted some paint, not a whole damn humiliation.

The woman turned around on her heels, her black cape swaying in the air, as she looked furious, her black hair almost levitating in the air. The steam was coming off from her ears, as the villagers around you started to whisper, as if the whole scene wasn't humilitating enough.

"You!" The woman shouted, while pointing at Zenitsu, who was on his knees, looking at the woman with tears in his eyes, whilst weeping away with his desperation.

"You have humiliated me!! In front of the whole village!! God do you know how embarrassing this is?!" She continued, while you could see Zenitsu psychically sink on his place, as he avoided the intense stare of the mysterious woman.

"Thus, I shall curse you!! So that no woman will ever like you!!" She finished her small speech, raising her arms in the air as if waiting for the storm to income. You, villagers, and Zenitsu, stared at her as nothing happened, blinking your eyes, as the woman's face flushed with red, slowly letting her hands fall down with a heavy sigh, muttering something about having to practice under her breath. She was however quick to gain back her composure, as she shot one last glare at the boy laying on the ground and turned around with a humph, walking away with only clonking of her heels against the ground echoing in the air.

You and Zenitsu watched her walk away, her back slowly diverting away, as the villagers slowly started to part their ways with quiet mutters. Zenitsu turned to look at you with a whimper as you raised your eyebrows, helping him to get up.

"What if she was for real?!" He asked, panic laced in his voice as you snorted, rolling your eyes.

"I doubt so", You told, starting to lead him back to the butterfly estate, as the dusk had already started to settle in, the lights kindling in the houses' windows.

"She seemed pretty mad though..", Zenitsu whispered as an objection, and you shook your head with a 'tch'.

"Anyone would be after getting humiliated like that"

The morning came, the gentle rays of sun kissing your face, making you awake from your slumber, as you yawned, changing your side.

No way in hell you were going to get up just yet.

You let out a small yawn, letting yourself drift back to asleep, taking your mind off from the daily tasks you yet had to do. You made your position comfortable, and as you were about to fall asleep again, you were woken up by a feminine scream that you knew so well.

You jolted up from your bed, cursing under your breath if it was yet another spider in his room again, as you hurried your way towards his room with a fast pace, whilst grabbing your katana with you, as you ran a hand through your hair with a sigh. When you made it to Zenitsu's room, you were surprised to find Inosuke basically crying from laughing so much crouching on the floor, as Tanjiro was scolding him. Your eyes landed on yet another person in front of Zenitsu's bed, Shinobu, as she was trying to get Zenitsu from under his blanket, as he was hiding there, refusing to come out. You raised your eyebrows.

"What is happening here?" You asked, looking at the boy hiding under the blanket, as he flinched when hearing your voice, but did not say anything. Shinobu sighed and ran a hand through her hair, looking like she hadn't slept in a while.

"He.. He grew a pair of cat ears and tail", She let the words fall out of her mouth, sounding like she was pretty much done with the shit you guys were pulling at her estate. You froze.

"He what now?"

"He grew a tail and pair of ears", Shinobu repeated herself. You blinked few times, connecting the pieces of the puzzle, the reason why Inosuke was laughing his ass off on the floor, the reason why Zenitsu was refusing to stop hiding.. was because he was a cat now? You realized the situation.

"Oh my God I wanna see!!" You yelled, and with one fast move, you ripped the blanket away from Zenitsu, and took a look at the boy, now laying in fetal position, not wanting to look up at you.

"Y/N-chan, please go away.. I don't want you see me like this..", He muttered out, while letting a small 'meow' out of his mouth in the end, which made him slap his hand over his mouth and cover it in embarrassment, trying to hide his blushing face. Your jaw was wide open, as you were slowly realizing that this was actually happening. You pinched yourself just in case this was a dream, but as the pain jolted through your body, you squealed in delight as you realized you weren't asleep. You launched yourself to hug him, while giggling like a little girl excited to have her birthday party. Zenitsu let out a little yelp, as he took his hands away from his mouth to look at you with shocked expression, trying to pry away from your grip. You smiled at him, your chin laying on his chest, as you raised your hand to pet his head, and softly scratch the behind of his cat ear. He was about to protest, but a loud purr left his mouth, which made you giggle.

You absolutely loved cats.

As Shinobu was watching the scene play out in front of her, Tanjiro had managed to drag Inosuke out of the room with him, closing the door, as now the only ones in the room were the three of you. Shinobu cleared her throat, catching back your attention.

"Do you have any idea why did this happen? Did something different happen yesterday while you were out in the town?" She asked, and you put a pointer on your lips, thinking, whilst still petting Zenitsu with your other hand, as he was trying to resist the need to lean on your touch.

"Oh well we were there to buy me some paint because I had ran out of it, and I took him to accompany me. On the way he became hungry and went off to buy some food for himself, and the next thing I know is that he's begging some woman to marry him and oH-", You interrupted yourself in the middle sentence, as Shinobu raised her eyebrow as a questioning manner.

"There was this woman, who "cursed him so that no woman would ever like him"", You told, putting quotation marks in the air with your fingers and Shinobu sighed, placing a hand on her forehead.

"So you're telling me, this mysterious woman cursed Zenitsu?" She asked and you nodded whilst shrugging.

"Could you tell me what this woman looked like? I could go search for her and talk to her. Maybe she could undo the curse", Shinobu asked, as you thought for a minute.

"She had black curly hair, reaching down to her waist", you started, putting your hand on your waist to estimate the lenght.

"And big brown, almond shaped eyes!" You told, as you gave Shinobu a smile.

"She had freckles covering her cheeks, and she wore a black cape over white kimono and high heels", You finished your description and Shinobu gave you a thoughtful nod.

"I'll go in the town to search for her and see if anyone matches with your description", She told and turned around, walking towards the doorway.

"During then, you shall take care of ..him", She yet told and pointed at Zenitsu, who had given up to the urge to lean onto your touch, and was now purring like a crazy. You cracked a smile.

"Roger ma'am!"

You were going on, explaining about everything and anything that came into your mind, your eyes sparkling with excitement, as Zenitsu had ended up laying his head on your lap, and you were still petting him, his tail slowly wagging from side to side. He was smiling, occasionally purring under your touch as you then decided to dramatically flop onto the bed, as you opened your arms, demanding him in your embrace.

"There's no way in world I would let an opportunity to cuddle you slide!" You exclaimed, as Zenitsu then looked around, then your eyes, and then at the outdoor, as if waiting for someone to come in. A blush was dusting his cheeks, but he knew you were only acting like this because you loved cats, not him. He sighed, still wanting to cuddle you, even if it was because he was half cat now for who knows how long, and as you were the one to initiate, he at least knew you were okay with it.

He slipped under your arms, on top of you, as he had gotten slightly smaller from the effect of the curse, almost like Nezuko was able to change her size at times. You chuckled and wrapped your arms around him more tightly as he pressed his head on your chest, listening to your heartbeat. His arms and legs were wrapped around you, as he wanted to memorize this moment. He was blushing, but he was glad that you weren't able to see it.

You yawned. He turned to look up at you and saw you yawning, your chest rising under him, as he blushed only by looking at your face. You saw his look and smiled.

"This whole mess woke me up so early..", You complained, and Zenitsu looked away in shame. He was scared of speaking, afraid that his voice would crack, or he'd stutter, but at the same time, he wanted to say something, even confess. His heart was longing to say those words outloud, as it was heavily pounding against his chest, trying to get free, and his breath quickened. The beating in his chest was pressuring him to say something, and he was sure that you could feel the tension in the air too. All the countless crushes he had had, felt so pointless right now, compared to you.

"Not like I'm complaining. I get to cuddle with you", you continued your sentence, sending him a tired smile, and in a heartbeat, he had made his decision.

"Y/N..", he started, but then for a split second, he regretted for even saying anything and not staying silent. He was not ready, he wasn't ready for a rejection. He wasn't ready. He just wasn't.

"Yeah?" You asked, drawing small circles on his back with your thumb, while looking at him curiously. He sighed, taking a deep breath, trying to get back his composure. He closed his eyes.

"I..", He started, almost shaking, trying to concentrate on his breathing. It was now or never. He couldn't back off now.

"I love you..", He finally managed to speak up, the words leaving his mouth with much more ease than he had imagined, then burying his face into your chest. Suddenly, he heard you chuckle, the voice vibrating in your chest like a bass, as he carefully and shyly raised his head to look at you. When he saw you, his eyes widened.

You were a blushing mess, smiling widely at the boy, and before he knew it, you had placed your hand on the back of his head, gently pulling him into a sweet kiss, your lips brushing softly against each other. You smiled as you then proceeded to scratch the back of his ear, and he let out a low purr.

"I love you too Zenitsu"

Before you could know it, the two of you had fallen asleep in each others arms, as he was snuggled on top of you, while you were still unconciously petting his head.

"Good news! I found the woman and she said that it should wear off by tomorro-!", Shinobu exclaimed, but then stopped herself in the middle sentence when seeing the two of you sleeping. She gently smiled and put a blanket on top of you two, wishing a good night. Let's just say that you woke up in the morning, being crushed by now normal sized Zenitsu still sleeping on top of you.
