Vậy chính xác thì Streetwear là gì? 

Bề ngoài thì định nghĩa về streetwear có thể nói là đơn giản. Người ta ban sơ định nghĩa streetwear là trang phục thời trang đơn giản, phần lớn là những bạn trẻ dưới 30 tuổi, sống ở các khu vực thành thị và thường bắt đầu từ những nhóm nhỏ ví dụ như vận động viên trượt ván hoặc người hâm mộ nhạc hip-hop...

Với sự phát triển ngày càng mạnh mẽ của streetwear, thì chúng ta đã gặp khó khăn trong việc xác định chính xác đâu là phong cách thời trang streetwear nữa.

Streetwear hiện tại chịu nhiều ảnh hưởng từ văn hóa trượt ván và lướt sóng, cho tới âm nhạc hip-hop, thể thao, và ngay cả thời trang cao cấp. 

Đối tượng khách hàng của streetwear rất đa dạng, trải dài trên ở nhiều mức thu nhập, và mọi nơi trên thế giới..

Streetwear ngày nay không chỉ gói gọn trong xu hướng thời trang nữa, mà đúng như các hyper đã nói với bạn, nó đã thực sự trở thành phong cách sống.

Streetwear thật sự bắt đầu từ khi nào? 

Thời trang đường phố như chúng ta biết bây giờ được bắt đầu từ đầu những năm 1980 và 1990.

Ở Mỹ, phong trào streetwear bắt nguồn từ văn hóa lướt sóng và trượt ván của California. Trong những năm 80s và 90s, một trong những điều hay ho nhất để làm là trang trí ván trượt của bạn bằng những chiếc sticker, logo, sau đó lại được in lên áo, rồi phát sóng trên MTV và thế là xu hướng này bắt đầu bùng nổ và phát triển mạnh mẽ tới ngày nay.
