Conceptually Miitopia goes off hard. An RPG where you can choose every character slaps. In execution it goes off too but I just love the concept.

New Ninjago City Headcanons

Seeing as the city was hardly developed in canon during Season 3, and paired with my own love for highly technological cities, here are some ideas/headcanons about New Ninjago City.

New Ninjago City is all connected together by one central mainframe which is how the entire city was hacked so easily; the Overlord had access to everything. Every piece of security or operating system is blocked by several firewalls, though considering the Overlord was already within the system he had bypassed them easily.

A sort of energy-like barrier was erected around the city to prevent sandstorms from wrecking havoc within the city. They used to be commonalities for the city itself considering its location, so this barrier was greatly appreciated. It freely allows the passage of anything else going to and leaving the city.

At night the city is so bright it prevents the vision of much of the night sky, though the top of the majority of the taller buildings are both quiet enough and dark enough to let anyone get a good view of it.

A popular mall/high-rise shopping building has easy roof access and it is connected with several other buildings to form a sort of square in the sky, though there is an open section within the centre of it. It is a popular place for those who seek peace, as drinks are not allowed up there and only the faint sound of music and hover cars rushing by can be heard. It is considered rude to play music or to talk loudly on the roof section.

Hover cars had been developed only a little while after the city's reconstruction, which lead to both their increase in popularity and the decrease in actual car use. It is generally considered a safety hazard to use cars on New Ninjago City, though it is not outlawed. The majority of the rumours about cars were spread via the Overlord's manipulation as they are things he could not control nor monitor perfectly.

The roads hover cars drive upon can be disabled and enabled at will as they are made of pure energy. Despite their composition, they have been developed to be walked upon, touched, etc.

There are very popular sections of the city meant for shopping/drinking/partying/etc, though these areas are contained near the heart of the city. This is also the brightest and most crowded part of Ninjago City; it is always under high surveillance.

The outermost reaches of the city have low rising buildings and they get progressively taller inwards. It is also generally the quietest and darkest in the outer reaches of the city, though it is said sometimes music can be heard even when you are outside the city itself.

There are not many parks within the city, though there is one incredibly popular one in the upper left area of Ninjago City. It is known for its serenity and flowers and is also thought of as a much-needed break from the city's lights by civilians.

The technological advances of the city drove more people in than away from the city itself, though of course there were some people who were not thrilled about the new technology and moved away.

That said, there was a lot of apprehension towards the usage of the security robots at first, mainly out of fear that they could be hacked. (Rest assured, that would never happen! A preposterous thought, it was called, to even expect that.)

The city’s construction only took a meagre two years to complete. This is due to the fact that Borg had created a multitude of robots tasked with the construction of the city. After the construction of the city itself, the majority of the construction robots were retasked with new jobs.

The robots, as well as the entirety of the city itself, are run on solar power and other forms of natural energy. The majority of the city’s glass is solar glass and many of the buildings’ roofs are covered in solar panels.

Fossil fuels and the such have become considered an auxiliary form of power rather than a primary.

New Ninjago City, in general, kind of looks like Tokyo.

while it is totally an absolute epic win for sony to pull out of the marvel deal spiderman should just be public domain at this point for real like. he was created 57 years ago and lee, ditko, and kirby are no longer alive so licherally theres no reason for companies to be arguing over the rights to spiderman
