Prompt 31 - Lock
@jegulus-microfic January 31 Word count 1755
This is it folks. I'm quite emotional. I really hope you all like it.
For my biggest fans @weirdtinkerbellversion @thedvilsinthedetails and @beautyoftheships I love you guys.
Previous part First part
All he could hear was white noise. His brain couldn’t process James’s words. His eyes found the bottle of wine, and he automatically poured himself a glass and downed it.
He grasped the edge of the counter with both hands and felt his body shake.
James remained silent, not wanting to push him.
Regulus bit back tears and turned around, putting his protective mask in place, leaving his face devoid of emotion.
“So that’s it for us then?” He stared at James with dead eyes, his voice a bored monotone. It made James shiver.
“I don’t want it to be.” Tears dripped down his face. “Reg,” He croaked. “I love you. I want to be with you. Lily told me this life-changing news,” He looked at his watch. “Four hours ago.”
“So, you didn’t know anything while I was arranging my return to England?” He sounded cold and accusing. He tried not to care. James shook his head.
“No, Reg. I swear. I’ve only just found out.” James looked at him, features full of heartbreak. “You’re the first person I’ve told. Not even Sirius knows.” This shocked Regulus almost as much as finding out James was going to be a father.
He smelt burning. He spun around and pulled the ruined dinner out of the oven. He threw it on the side and bit down on his lip.
“James, I need you to go. Please.” His mask had slipped. It would be only moments before he broke down.
“Reg—“
“Please, James. I need to figure out if this is the life I want. Kids were never my plan, and now…” He didn’t know how to finish that sentence, so he let it sit.
“I’m so sorry, Reg. Nothing ever seems to go right for us. Does it? I really hope that changes.” His voice was thick as he continued. “Please remember whatever you choose, I will always love you.” With that, James left. The door hadn’t even banged shut before Regulus was sobbing.
———————————————————————————
James’s chest hurt. What should have been a hopefully pleasant evening had turned into yet another nightmare. He looked up at the skies and called out to whoever might be listening.
“Could whoever is writing our story please give us a break?!” When he got no answer, he walked back to his empty house. Even Leo had gone out.
His phone buzzed.
‘Hey. Reggie just texted me and said you’d gone home already. Take it it didn’t go well then? Wanna meet for lunch tomorrow? Usual place?
Love ya
xxx’
He sent back a quick, ‘Yeah, sounds good to me. See you at noon x.’ He decided the best thing was to go to bed and deal with everything in the morning.
***
James heard the sound of thundering boots coming up fast behind him. He began to turn, but before he could see what was happening. There was an almighty thud. He looked down at the pavement and sprawled across it. Hair in a wild mess was Sirius.
“Trip over your laces again?” James said flatly.
“Yup.” A muffled reply came from the heap on the floor. James snorted loudly as he bent to pick his friend up.
Miraculously, Sirius had gotten away with only a slight graze on his cheek.
“Is it true? Am I going to be an Uncle!” He shook James vigorously in his excitement.
“I suppose so, I guess,” James said as he tried to escape Sirius's grasp.
“I’m godfather!” He burst out, bouncing up and down.
“Sirius, we’re not even religious.”
“Fine, fairy godfather, whatever. Either way, I bagsy it.” James sighed and clapped him on the back.
“You got it, you absolute crazy man.” He bent down and tied Sirius’s laces for him.
“Awww, you’re gonna be such a good dad.” He gushed as he wiggled his foot, checking out his shoelaces.
“Come on then, let’s go get lunch. I had some amazing news to tell you.” James chuckled as he threw his arm around Sirius’s shoulder and continued down the street to the little cafe on the corner.
Sirius didn’t stop babbling about all the baby things he’d googled and spouted off so much information that James felt his chest tightening in panic.
“I think he just needs time, you know.”
“Hmm, what?” James had completely zoned out, picking his sandwich to pieces.
“I said, he just needs time. It’s a lot. But I really hope he picks you, mate.” Sirius said, taking James’s hands away from his decimated sandwich and squeezing them gently. He didn’t want to get his hopes up again, but he didn’t fight very hard.
***
He was painting when the door went. He nearly fell off the ladder as he hurried downstairs to answer it. He was covered in paint, so he tried to touch as few things as possible.
He yanked the door open, slightly red-faced, and lost all his breath when he saw Regulus standing there.
“Hi,”
“Hi,”
“I’ve made my decision.” Regulus blurted out, not waiting to be invited in. James felt his mouth go dry.
“And?” His tongue was like sandpaper. He couldn’t take the suspense.
“I’m in,” Regulus said confidently. “Nappies, late night feedings, helping them plot their revenge on the school bully. All of it. I’m in.” Without warning, James flung himself at Regulus. He gathered him up into his arms and spun him around. He was bursting with joy.
He suddenly dropped him and ran into his office. He rooted around in a draw and rushed back to Regulus, who was still waiting at the front door.
“I got you something.” He held out the small box.
“What the fuck! James! Are you proposing?” Regulus’s eyebrows disappeared into the curls that hung over his forehead. James’s eyes widened.
“NO! No, No,” He opened the box. “It’s just a key!”
“Oh,” Regulus sounded disappointed. James made a mental note to put a pin in that for later.
“And what lock does this open, James? Your heart?” A playful smirk settled on Regulus’s mouth.
“It’s a key to the house. So you don’t have to knock any more, you can come and go as you please. And—” He took a deep breath. He’d been preparing for this. “And if you’d like to—No pressure, by the way—But if you’d like to, I’d love it if you moved in with me.” Regulus took the silver-coloured key from the box and held it in his hand, staring at it, flipping it over in his palm. He looked up at James, a sweet, shy smile on his lips.
“Okay.”
“Okay?”
“Okay, I’ll move in with you. Being away, I forgot how obnoxious Sirius is. I’ve had to buy earplugs to block out his nighttime noises.” He pulled a face, gagging slightly. James grabbed him in his arms again and lifted him into the air.
“I love you,” He whispered across Regulus’s lips before closing the gap.
Only when he set a breathless Regulus back on his feet did he remember he was covered in paint. He looked in horror at the cream-coloured paint splattered all over Regulus’s black coat. Regulus looked down as well.
“Is that paint?” His eyebrow shot up as he questioned James.
“Yeah, sorry. I was painting the room that’s going to be the nursery. Er, put your coat in the wash, and you can borrow one of mine. I’ll just go get changed.” He ushered Regulus inside and shut the door. Being very careful not to touch him again.
Regulus shrugged off his coat.
“Did you get it finished.? He asked matter of factly.
“Er, no, I didn’t. I barely even started. Only done about half a wall.” Regulus pulled his jumper off and started up the stairs. James chased after him and into his bedroom. But Regulus wasn’t there. “Reg?” He called out as he tried and failed to figure out where he’d gone.
“I’m in the baby’s room. Where are you?” Regulus called back. James hurried out of the bedroom. Clearly, he’d gotten the wrong idea.
Regulus, roller in hand, was making a start on the wall that James had started. He’d already accomplished more than he had and didn’t have a lick of paint on him. James leaned against the door frame, watching the man he hoped to spend the rest of his life with painting his unborn child’s room.
He didn’t think there were enough words in the world to describe how much he loved him.
———————————————————————————
Nine months later
“James, he’s beautiful.” Regulus hadn’t expected to feel this way when meeting baby Harry for the first time. The tiny raven-haired boy slept soundly in James’s arms. James grinned the biggest grin Regulus had ever seen on his face. He turned to Lily. “He’s amazing, Lily. How are you doing?” She looked exhausted, but she still had a smile for him and a cheeky wink.
“You know me. Cup of coffee, and I’ll be right back up.”
“Do you want to hold him?” James asked him as he slowly rocked the baby to and fro.
“I don’t want to hurt him,” Regulus said quietly. His palms felt sweaty as he looked nervously at the tiny, delicate bundle that was nestled in James’s arms.
“You’ll be fine. Here.” James stood and awkwardly transferred Harry into Regulus’s arms.
He looked again at the tiny baby and felt a protective love surge through his body.
Harry fussed in his arms, and he instinctively began to sway. Harry opened his little mouth in a perfect O and settled back down. He was so in love.
There was a quiet tap at the hospital door, and Sirius’s face popped around it.
“Can we come in yet?” He whined. James nodded.
“Yeah, of course you can.”
Sirius rushed in, followed more slowly by Remus. They crowded around Regulus so they could get a good look at the baby.
“Look, Sirius,” Regulus said, pulling his gaze away from Harry to look at his brother. “Isn’t he perfect?” Sirius wrapped an arm around him.
“Yeah, Reggie, he is. Now give me a turn!” Reluctantly, Regulus handed him over and went to stand next to James. James pulled him in close, wrapping his arms around him as they watched Sirius and Remus quietly argue over how long Sirius got to hold him before it was Remus’s turn. Lily had fallen asleep. She was exhausted after the long labour. It was peaceful.
James leant his chin on Regulus’s shoulder and whispered in his ear.
“How you doing, Papa?” Regulus’s heart melted.

04. 53,000 won
Tumblr media
🌼 feat: wonwoo x reader (written and a bit of smau), fluff, mild angst??, hometown chachacha!inspired
🌼summary: going back to the countryside where you grew up was at the bottom of your list. unexpectedly, your life changes course, and you eventually find your home in weekly village cleaning, the sound of the waves, and with the local jack-of-all-trades, jeon wonwoo.
🌼 warning: mention of a funeral (but no one dies, it's just a description)
🌼 word count: ~3k
───✱.。:。✱.:。✧.。✰──────✱
"Ugh!!" Your head is in your hands, sitting in the middle of your newly-furnished apartment, mulling over the incident. A part of you feels bad for saying all that out, but how were you to know the mic was on?
A knock on your door breaks you out of your struggle. You sigh and pull yourself up. When you open the door, you're surprised to see Wonwoo outside. His mouth is set in a mocking smile, all the previous friendliness and teasing tone gone.
He cuts in before you can ask what he's doing here. "You really think you're better than everyone, don't you?"
"What?" You ask in shock.
"You must have had a smooth life, right? I told you before, Miss L/N. This isn't the city." He continues coldly, not a usual shred of humour in that sentence to be seen. "We live differently from you bigshots in the city, that's true. We make honest livings, and everyone has had their fair share of struggles. And what did you say -- 'too simple it's aggravating'? I'm not sure you know about anything any one of us has gone through. I humoured you at first because I thought you were just awkward with us, but I guess I shouldn't have." He gives a mirthless laugh.
You snap, "If this is about earlier, just stop. I don't need you to rub it in."
He raises his eyebrows. "You went around calling us all simpletons in essence, but you get upset the moment I call you out for it?" You shoot a glare at him, but he continues, unfazed.
"Listen here, Doctor. Life isn't so fair on everyone. You may have had it easy, but a lot of people spend their lives on unpaved roads, and some run at full speed only to reach the edge of a cliff. You have no right to undermine that, got it?"
He stalks off without looking back.
You slam the door shut and return to the middle of the room, fuming. Not even three minutes later your pity party is interrupted by yet another knock on the door.
Fed up, you storm to the door and pull it open, ready to vent on the man...
"Delia??" You ask, and she breaks into a smile. "Surprise!"
"What are you doing here?!" You burst into tears and crush her in a hug. Her expression turns into one of concern. "Wha- are you okay??"
"I messed up!" You sob into her shoulder as she hurriedly comforts you and pats you on the back. "When I was telling you about the town, I was in the broadcast room, and it played out for everyone to hear."
"Oh." Delia pauses the patting for a second before pulling away from the hug. "Yeah, you really did screw up."
"Delia!" You wail. "What now? I can't face them anymore. I'll have to move out, but I'll be unemployed. I-"
"Okay, calm down, shh, shh," Delia says, rubbing your back to soothe you. "It's okay. Just apologise -- sincerely -- and make sure you don't do it again." After a pause, she asks, "Is that why I saw Chief Jeon walking down the path earlier?"
"You saw him?" You ask, stricken. "Did he say anything?"
"No, he just smiled and said hello," Delia replies. "He didn't seem any different."
"Crap," You groan, leaning against the couch.
"Yup, crap indeed," Delia says bracingly. "Look, really, try to have fun here, okay? I know this wasn't your first choice, but a lot can happen in three months. I think you need to give them a chance before you say anything. I mean, if someone just assumed shit about you, you'd be mad too, right?"
You shrug. Delia rolls her eyes. "Go take a walk or something to clear your head. You might go do something rash if I keep on yapping, so go on."
You throw on a cardigan over yourself and make your way out the door with Delia's encouragement. You finally walk to the harbour, rather chilly at this time of night, and to your dismay, you spot Chief Jeon, sitting with Seungkwan and Joshua along the steep step at the top.
Oh. It was all three of them.
You brace yourself to walk right past them but sigh, Delia's words replaying over and over in your head. But they probably hated you now, you reasoned. So if you walked past them, they might not even bat an eyelash.
As you approach, Joshua looks up and raises his eyebrows. "Why're you here?"
"Walk," You reply hesitantly, trying to avoid eye contact. Seeing them again, in person, like this -- amplifies the embarrassment you feel. You can feel your ears turning red.
Chief Jeon huffs. "Sit down. You're not at a court sentencing or something."
Seungkwan finally looks up at you and motions with his head slightly, and that is your cue to sit, a small distance away from the three men.
"That," Chief Jeon says, pointing at the large, red lighthouse in the distance, glowing with bright lights against the night sky, "is the lighthouse. Fishermen use it lots when they can't get back before nightfall. It helps them navigate, and make sure they don't hit rocks and capsize."
You look at him curiously. "What?"
"Miss Hwang -- you've met her, the cafe owner-- can be a bit of a chatterbox, but she's really friendly. She's noisy, but she has a good heart, and she makes good company on lazy days." He continues, as if he hasn't heard you.
"Hey," Joshua nudges him, amusement on his face. "Tell her about Grandma Lee."
"Grandma Lee is everyone's family," Chief Jeon adds, a fond expression on his face as he looks out to sea. "She's lived here all her life, so she's watched practically everyone grow up, and she's seen lots of them come and go. She... she raised all three of us when we were kids, actually."
"She's the best person ever, and she's a good cook." Seungkwan tells you, the first sentence he's said to you since the fiasco.
Your confusion doesn't ebb. "What on earth are you three talking about?"
Chief Jeon rolls his eyes. But it's Joshua who speaks up first.
"We were getting to that," He says. "We're angry, yeah, that you jumped to the conclusions of us being simple that it was annoying. And Wonwoo was right that everyone's lives are different and you really shouldn't have said that." You're ready to retort, but Chief Jeon cuts in.
"You must be angry about what I said earlier."
"You know meddling can be dangerous, right?" You return. "You probably haven't caught up to the world yet."
"Probably," Chief Jeon shrugs. "But I'd appreciate it if you met them halfway."
You huff.
"I know this wasn't in your plans," Chief Jeon continues.
"...But?"
"This may sound old-fashioned, but this town hasn't had too many city people come in to stay," Seungkwan adds, tossing a pebble in the air and catching it. "So we're very tight-knit and our behaviour can be different from city people."
"Sounds exhausting," You mutter.
"Yet you chose to open a clinic here. Don't we all need some time to adjust?" Chief Jeon asks you. When you don't reply, he says, slightly sighing. "We were talking about it, and we figured all people make mistakes. Strictly speaking, it's not like you knew the mic in that room was on."
"We badmouth everyone at some point anyway, right? And everyone is probably talking shit about you right now," Seungkwan shrugs. "So you're all even. It's time for you to start over."
"And we want to tell you about life here," Joshua says, not unkindly. "So we can get to know each other a bit more, and we won't just be awkward up until you leave."
You stay silent, your irritation fading slightly. Perhaps these three weren't that bad.
Seungkwan launches into a quick briefing of the villagers. You find out that Mrs Woo, your landlord, has a seven-year-old son, who's top of his class and a quiet but obedient boy. That a young couple is running a small convenience store near the main path, and they're expecting a second baby soon. Wonwoo and Joshua stay silent, mostly, only chiming in very occasionally.
You don't say much, simply nodding at the right places, until Seungkwan snaps his fingers. "Ah, right! Reminds me, have you given out rice cakes?"
You stare at him in utter confusion, only for all three men to stare back at you, baffled. "You haven't? Seriously?" Wonwoo asks incredulously.
"No wonder," Joshua muses, before explaining. "You ever heard of the custom of handing out rice cakes when a business opens or when you move in?"
You nod slowly. "I thought that was a past tradition."
"Some of us see it as a form of courtesy," Joshua replies. "We'll help you make them, so pass them out. Maybe they'll take it as an olive branch."
You nod hesitantly. "Okay. I see."
Wonwoo shakes his head in mock amusement. "All those brains to be a doctor, and you really forgot rice cakes?"
You shoot him a wilting look, and he cracks a smile. "Don't start on your spiel about city life again."
"I wasn't going to," You say obstinately, but you know damn well you were on the verge of it.
───✱.。:。✱.:。✧.。✰──────✱
To little surprise on your end, no one really changes their impression of you even after the rice cakes three days after you move in.
Some accept it with barely-there enthusiasm, while some don't even bother to spare you a second glance. It was expected, you muse, as you exit your twelfth household of the day.
"Miss Doctor!" A voice you know all too well calls out to you, and you look up wearily.
"What?"
"You handing out rice cakes?" He asks, outstretching his hands to take the few tins you have in your hands.
"Yeah. You guys said to."
He huffs. "Show some backbone about it, would you? You're promoting your clinic, not a funeral."
You cross your arms. "You try getting brushed off by so many people and see if you can still keep that grin on your face."
He rolls his eyes. "Don't be a baby. I bet you just went in, said "I hope you come to the clinic!" without apologising, and left."
You stay rooted to the ground. "So?"
He looks at you, shock on his face. "Did you really think that's enough? Of course no one would be convinced! An apology would be more than welcome."
You shrug, already worn out. "Whatever."
"Don't get grumpy on me," He says bracingly. "That's pathetic. Where's your friend, by the way?"
"Back in Seoul." You shrug.
He rolls his eyes. "Alright. Come with me this evening."
"What?"
"You're pretty stubborn. I said, meet me this evening. We're going somewhere."
"Wher-"
He stalks off, his hand stuck up in a wave.
"Idiot," You mutter.
───✱.。:。✱.:。✧.。✰──────✱
You meet him at the junction near the small convenience store at the junction at six sharp.
"Oh, you're here early," He remarks as he approaches you. "Come on. We're going to the village meeting."
"What?" You recoil instantly, and he clicks his tongue. "Don't be a baby, honestly. Come on."
He leads you, with lots of complaining, back to the same place with the broadcast room. This time, you hear the buzz of people's voices, some laughter, lively conversation from inside.
Your hesitation is obvious as Wonwoo ushers you, and he sighs. "I'm giving you a chance to go in and try making things right. They need you as a doctor like you need them as companions, you know?"
You try to glare at him, but with your unwillingness and nerves combined, it's much milder than usual. He's clearly unbothered as he cocks his head towards the room. "I'll catch up with you. Go on."
"You're not coming?" The words shoot out, more alarmed than you intended.
"Time's a-ticking. I'm not the one who should apologise, Miss Doctor."
You huff, turn your back to him, and steel yourself. "Fine." Your heels crunch into the gravel as you walk towards the room.
He watches you as you march away.
You open the door warily, and all eyes turn to you. Disgruntled mutters break out as you step in awkwardly, but Seungkwan and Joshua, who are already sitting cross-legged near the back, smile slightly and wave you over to sit with them. Amongst the not-so-discreet chatter of the grandmothers who eye you disapprovingly, you make your way through and sit next to them in relief.
The conversation is muted until Ms Hwang asks (although it sounds more like a confrontation to you), "Why are you here, Doctor?"
"Um..."
Seungkwan clicks his tongue before he cuts in, clearly sensing your discomfort with all the villagers staring at you, not kindly in the slightest. "She's living here with us in the town now! Of course, she should be here."
Joshua murmurs assent, hand coming up to pat your shoulder in comfort. You try to smile awkwardly, and the villagers go back to mumbling under their breaths. That is until the door opens and Wonwoo comes in. He's carrying a box of fruits, you observe, and the villagers make way for him on autopilot. He sets the large box down, makes eye contact with you, and breaks out into a grin.
"Ah, Miss Doctor! I see why you needed my help carrying this in." He makes a show of stretching his back. "This is rather heavy, huh?"
"Wha-" You start to ask, but Seungkwan jabs you in the ribs. He's smiling when you look at him, and you finally figure out the act.
The murmurs continue, but more so in surprise, and as Wonwoo looks around in mock confusion, he deliberately chuckles out. "Ah, Miss Doctor heard about the village meeting today. She went to get fruits for everyone, but it was too heavy. She didn't even want my help until I insisted!"
The three grandmas turn to look at you, but the air of disapproval is replaced by something more questioning. The change is rather welcomed, though, the feeling of being scrutinised slowly fading. You manage to laugh out awkwardly.
───✱.。:。✱.:。✧.。✰──────✱
The meeting goes without a hitch. The villagers help themselves to the peaches and apples Wonwoo — “you” brought— as your landlord addresses the issues of village cleaning and trash bags. Joshua even throws in a few deliberate praises on your choice of fruits. As the sky outside darkens, your landlord finally wraps up, and she adds, "Let's all thank Y/N for bringing fruits today, okay?"
A few mumbles of thanks are heard, but that alone sends endless relief through you.
Everyone files out after a while, goodnight's and see you's exchanged. You hang behind the rest, walking with Wonwoo. Seungkwan and Joshua go on ahead, saying they want to have an early night.
He stops you at the junction and holds out his palm.
"What?" You ask.
"53,000."
"Huh?"
"53,000 won."
"Wha-"
"For the fruits. I didn't want to say this to you earlier."
You huff and reach into your bag, but he stops you. "Bank transfers are fine. I'm not going on another wild goose chase with you for money."
"God, do you ever get tired?"
He chuckles at your annoyed tone before speaking again, slightly warmer and less sarcastic. "Good job today. I think the grandmas are warming up to you."
Before you can respond, he's striding back down the path, waving goodbye to you.

For the longest time, Itoshi Rin treated you like shit. Muttering how everything about you is lukewarm and how everything you say is nonsense.
You still remember when you two first met in the playground, at that time Sae never left him yet, Rin still having those chubby cheeks as he runs around in the playground, happily dribbling the ball when the ball suddenly hits your knee.
"O-ow!" You groaned in pain, before you burst into tears as your left knee reddens.
The boy at the swing runs towards you, "Are you okay?" He asks you, he looks concerned for you as guilt creeps up as he doesn't know what to do when sees you cry.
You were a sobbing mess on the floor as the aching got worse, Rin kept a distance before grabbing the playground sand and pouring it at your ankle, "sorry…"
The little boy trying to help you up when you two heard footsteps coming closer, Rin panicking as he realizes it's his brother walking towards them.
Rin stares at the ground when Sae scolds him for being too careless, the little boy now crying with you.
"You two should make up before the adults hear about this, Rin you go and get the first-aid kit and candy, I'll watch after them." The red-head yells as Rin bolts to their house. Later coming back with the first-aid kit and candy, watching his older brother do the work and rub medicine on your scraped knee. As the older boy treated your knee, your eyes met the culprit's gaze, he turned away in shame as tiny sobs left his lips from Sae scolding him earlier.
After that incident, you get a scraped knee, some candy and two new friends. Let's just say Rin's parents weren't too happy when they found out what happened.
The next day, Rin rings your doorbell as he asks your parents where you were, calling you downstairs as you excitedly run towards the gate.
"Oh you're back! What's that in your hand?" Younger you asked Rin as he fiddles a tiny bag in his hands; clearly anxious from yesterday.
The boy gulps before taking a deep breath and awkwardly handing you a bag full of chocolates, "I'm sorry for yesterday.."
Rin closes his eyes as he waits for some sort of punishment until he feels you hug him.
"Heh! No worries, these are my favorite chocolates so you're forgiven."
"Really?" His eyes beam in joy.
"Yup! This chocolate tastes good! Where'd ya get it?" You ask while munching away happily.
"My brother actually has a bowl of candy… you can come over and you can eat more chocolate there."
Your lips curled into a smile before you shook his hand, "what's your name again?"
"Rin."
"Awesome! I'm [name] by the way!"
As you sweep the floor, your broom brushes an old polaroid; it was from 18 years ago. You and Rin were cuddling in Sae's bed, not knowing Sae sneaked in a picture.
Smiling at the picture you reminisce again.
It was summer at that time. Luckily Rin's parents weren't home so you two had the whole house to yourselves.
"Mmm!" Stretching your limbs as you two lie on the couch, playing some mario kart while Sae prepares lunch for the three of you.
The aggressive pressing of the controllers and smell of fruits in the kitchen; you can remember it all perfectly.
"I'm gonna beat you, just you wait—! Hey!" Rin yells when you start tickling him and successfully taking the lead, making Rin's character fall off the map.
Rin's demise eliciting a loud giggle from your lips as you beat his ass after a whole hour of trying to one up each other.
Rin is fuming with anger as he complains to Sae, "No fair! You're cheating! Sae don't give her any chocolates! You're a cheater!"
"Bleh! You're just bad!"
Sae groans in annoyance as he prepares the table, "You two get over here and stop fighting or else I won't let you two play."
You two pout and start glaring at each other.
"That's right midget." You tease him before sitting right next to him, grabbing a plate of spaghetti.
"Shut up! I'm gonna be taller than you, just you wait!" Rin sticks his tongue out, teasing you with confidence but Sae gives you two an icy-glare, indicating that you two should just stop fighting.
"Rin, [name]."
"Y-yes!" Both of you stop fighting, at least not In Front of Sae. Hours go by and the night sky settles in.
Plopping in his bed while staring at all his trophies, "damn rin you won all these?"
Rin doesn't reply, fixing the bed sheets before lying next to you; letting out a small hmph.
You sigh, and make him turn around to face you. "Rin. Sorry for earlier."
Rin rolls his eyes, "lukewarm" he mutters under his breath.
After that you two look away and fall asleep. When Sae comes in however, he sees you two cuddling like kittens. Sae smirks to himself before grabbing his phone, taking a picture— close ups even so he can use this as blackmail later on. Let's just say you both did not enjoy waking up in each other's arms; spoiler alert: Rin actually did.
A few years pass by and you two find each other laying on the park, star gazing. These days Rin gets too lonely, his brother moving to Spain to chase after his career.
"S-so… Rin are you okay?"
The boy right next to you stares at the stars, ignoring your voice calling out for him.
Sighing in defeat, knowing Rin isn't in the mood to talk right now.
"I'm nervous actually, about the future." You say before clearing your throat.
Rin turns around and looks at you, "and?"
The stars were lovely, lovelier than anything you've ever seen.
"It just feels like time flies by so quickly, all of the sudden Sae is in Spain and now we're just- ya know… here."
Rin doesn't say a word again, only listening to the rustling of the leaves as it sways with the wind.
"I just wish we had more time. What if something bad happens in the future and we're not friends anymore?"
Rin sits up before flicking your forehead, "Hey what was that for?!"
"To stop your lukewarm talking, stop worrying about the future— I started learning some Spanish so when Sae comes back I can greet him and.."
He looks back at you, nervous and shaking; tears welling up in his eyes. He misses Sae too much.
You tap his shoulder lightly, pushing him to continue what he wants to say.
"Que sera, sera I think? I searched it up and it means whatever will be, will be. So stop worrying too much, you idiot" he rolls his eyes, trying to stop the tears from leaving his eyes.
The world felt peaceful like this, only you and him; the moon and stars as your witness.
A few years later Sae comes back though it didn't go as expected. You two were ecstatic when Sae came back but he changed. After that Rin and Sae were no longer 'Rin and Sae'; now they were just strangers.
Sae was a catalyst for what Rin would become. Rin stopped eating chocolates. Rin would overexert his body from practice and when you two talk it's nothing more than just 'hello'.
Needless to say you were hurt. This wasn't the Rin you knew, the new him is now an empty shell of what he used to be; no— the old Rin died when Sae came back and now you're left to mourn alone for the old him.
You don't watch Rin's practice anymore; you couldn't bear to see that bitter expression written on his face as he tries and tries to practice more just to catch up to his brother.
Months later, Rin was accepted to blue lock. He was gone again for months.
Staring at the small tv screen when you watch the U20 vs Blue lock match.
The camera pans over to Rin disheveled, on his knees when Sae comes over to him. You wonder what happened between them when they met again on the field that caused Rin to be beyond irritated even though his team won.
A week later, Rin comes back to the neighborhood park, kicking the football with tears in his eyes. Pouring all his anger on the ball, almost deflating the ball in the process.
A gust of wind blows on your face before you utter a weak 'hi'. It was like a teen romcom cliche but the thing is there was no chemistry anymore.
At Least… that you thought that there wasn't.
"Go away." He groans, fixing his shoe tie and running off to get the ball.
"I saw the game." You yell trying to get his attention. He kicks the ball again but this time with more force, the ball ricocheting and bouncing on the fences. "You did great."
Two words almost fell from your lips but cleared your throat, trying to make sure the 'Im proud' doesn't spill from your lips as maybe your tears will too.
Rin quirks his face into an expression you can't describe. Anger? Hatred? But when you stare longer at his eyes, watch how his chest heaves up and down shakily you can see a hint of sadness— as if he was a ripped doll, his heart torn apart, left to rot. He would never admit it but the way you stare at him with such pity, angers him. It makes his torn heart beat rapidly and his lungs bruise more, waiting for you to sew him up again; fixing him.
But he would never admit it, his ego warped mind and his dying heart. He doesn't notice it but he feels alive when he sees you again.
He doesn't know what to do when you stare at him with pity. The small child locked away a long time ago in the corners of his soul begging him to let it all out and cry in your arms; maybe you could see how he's hurting and maybe you'll stitch him up again.
But you don't. At least not now.
He shivers from the cold air, he's glad it's winter as the cold weather could freeze his tears away before you even see it. But it's not cold enough to turn his tears into icicles as he sheds a tiny tear, he swears if he could just open up to you, you would catch it.
His ragged breathing, his worried expression, the tears threatening to leak from his eyes all of it. You ingrain all of it in your mind, burning this memory into your brain.
You want to run towards him, hug him, comfort him like you did as a child. Your arms aching to hold his trembling figure but you don't, fearing it might ignite more tension between you two. So you just watch as he tries to hold back his tears right in front of you.
You say nothing and hand over a piece of chocolate. Watching him accept it and eating one for the first time, oh how he's forgotten the taste of this treat.
There was a silent agreement with you two. A simple nod and you two go back to your own paths now, wondering how the other one is doing right now.
Months pass by again and this time Rin won the world cup but you notice a change in him, a spark reignited in him. The same old spark when he first started playing football.
You couldn't afford to go to the actual world cup so you watch the match on your tv screen. Seeing him in person is better but never seeing him at all even on a screen is worse.
Months ago Rin would be red in anger, you don't know why but it feels like you should've done something. But now, even on the screen you could see him smile for the first time as he shakes hands with Sae.
Letting out a sigh of relief, maybe Rin is fixed, maybe he was the same rin back then. Maybe, just maybe you two could be on good terms again.
Then it happened.
You see Rin again at the park. The neighbors were talking about how the itoshi brothers were going back to the neighbor so you went to the park; this is where Rin has always been.
A leaf falls to your side and at that moment Rin notices your presence. Anxiety bubbling in his chest, he knows what he's done to you. He's scared that you'll never forgive him for how he treated you.
"I'm uh.." you stutter, the words stuck in your throat. Looking down in shame, if you only said this back then maybe you had a chance to fix him. He looks at you, he doesn't look as broken as before. His eyes no longer bear hatred, only melancholy and guilt.
"I'm proud. I'm proud of you." You've finally let the words out, the ones that have been dying to be said.
Silence.
Rin has never been good with words and neither have you. Rin doesn't say anything, he stands up and kicks the football to the tree. That tree has been there for as long as you remember. It was the sign of your pact, your friendship.
He shoves his hand in his pocket, trying to find something. It takes him a while and he pulls out a tiny treat.
It was that same chocolate he first gave you as a child.
Que sera, sera right?
What will be, will be.
From the beginning it was you and Rin. In the end it will always be you and Rin.
You stretch your back after finishing sweeping and dusting the living room. Your shared house should get some renovations by now but oh well, Rin's schedule has never been that generous to give you both enough time.
The warm sun hits your skin as you walk to the garden and tend to the flowers. After you and Rin hit it off he started to plant your favorite flowers in your garden, so even if it weren't valentines day, he'd still have enough flowers to give you every day.
"I'm home." That familiar voice echoes in the room, the door creaking open.
You chuckle as you place the broom away, "Hard day?"
He nods and hugs you, his wedding ring hitting your back as he hugs too tightly. He lets out a small giggle when you pepper his face with kisses.
You threw the curtain at his chest as he raised an eyebrow, "Rin, we should really renovate and shop for new stuff— these things are getting a little too wonky don't you think?"
He lets out a sigh, he barely notices the condition of the house when he's out for months. "Fine, fine. We're going out later"
Your lips quirk into a smile. Oh how lucky you are to be with him. The way he treated you like a deity, praising the floor you step foot on. Caring for you and treating you kindly, gently even as a way to pay back what you did for him. You stitched his torn heart back up, sure the scars will stay forever but he learnt how to cherish it because it brought him to you.
"Rin, help me with this thing— it's too heavy!"
He rushes to your side and hastily carries all the heavy luggage and boxes, helping you out as you two laugh and talk about your day.
He was an idiot, he forgot it was valentines day, no wonder why you were so pouty. Rin will just make it up to you later.
Que sera, sera.
Whatever will be, will be.
It will always be You and Rin. Nothing more, nothing less.

Can I get a short thirst for TFP Breakdown? Ty!
Warnings: sub/bottom character + top/dom reader + cybertronian reader + face-sitting + praise + valve worshipping + Breakdown is tough as shit but gets super embarrassed in bed
A/N: I had so much fun making this because I absolutely love tfp breakdown
Also until I looked at his design again, I never realized how big his chest is it literally rivals Shockwave
Tumblr media
"...Are you sure about this?" Breakdown squirms a bit on your chest. "Of course I am," you reply simply. "Besides, I am the one who asked you to do this." Breakdown nods. It's true, earlier that day you had asked him if he could sit on your face. It was a very random request and it definitely took him off guard. With a face flushed with energon, he agreed and you hugged him and gave him a kiss.
You grabbed his hips and smiled at him sweetly. "You mind removing this for me?" you gesture to his valve panel. "Yeah..." Breakdown agrees and let's his panel open. Breakdown shivers a bit at the feeling of cool air hit his valve and he turns his head away from you. He couldn't properly see you over his chest, but he could feel the weight of your optics on his valve. "...Are you just going to stare?" he huffs.
"Yup," you replied. Breakdown's valve was so pretty. His valve lips were a dark blue with small yellow biolights and his node was an amber color that brightened when his charge was becoming rampant. "I can't help but admire what I find beautiful you know." That has Breakdown blushing even harder. "Let's just get on with this," he grumbles. You take a moment to admire your partner's valve a bit more before lifting him up with your servos and dropping him straight onto your awaiting intake.
"Mhhh---!" Breakdown whimpers as he feels your glossa delve into his valve so soon. He moans lowly as you suck on his anterior node, creating a loud popping sound when you pull off. Your glossa continues to work itself deeper into Breakdown's walls, stimulating shallow nodes. "Unngh! Mhnn, [name]!" Breakdown is already sobbing your designation as he clamps his thighs tightly around your helm, his servos looking for something to balance on.
The feeling of his thighs slightly crushing your helm only spurs you on further, relentlessly thrusting your glossa in and out of Breakdown's valve bringing his closer to his overload. You could feel your spike thunking against your panel, but you decided to ignore it for now. Breakdown's breath comes out in short puffs of hot air, his big chest rising quickly as he shakes. His yellow optics are dimmed as his mouth hangs open, letting out needy moans and pathetic yelps as your glossa continuously strikes his nodes. You can se his charge slightly dancing around his bulky frame, telling you that he was very close to his overload.
"[Name]--- Please, O-ohh! Anghh, I'm gonna--" Breakdown moans become high-pitched as he borders on the edge of his climax. Right before he overloads, you bite down on his node. Hard.
Breakdown seizes up, his body fully tensing up before his optics roll back, letting out a noiseless keen as he overloads violently. You greedily lap up his juices as he squirts, his thighs trembling uncontrollably. Breakdown pants heavily as he attempts to recover from his overload. He finally remembers that he's still sitting on your face and quickly tries to get up, worried that you might not be able to breathe. His fluids drench your face as he lifts his trembling thighs up to get up from your face giving you a perfect view of his valve. His array was soaked with light pink lubricant, his valve lips drenched and still twitching a bit as his node brightened.
Right when Breakdown was about to get up completely, you grabbed him by the hips again and pulled him down, firmly planting him on your intake. "[n-name]! I thought we wer---Oh! Ahhh...nngh!" Breakdown's protests were futile as you swiped your glossae through the mess of lubricant on his valve. You were far from done.

I have an Eriks-adjacent request for you. How about Vash and Reader, newlywed, visiting Granny and Lina sometime after the main story is over? I think it would be a nice and wholesome scenario. <3
In The End
A/N: Okay I'm just gonna go sob hysterically in the corner because this is literally the sweetest idea Anon I hope you know that I love you for this.
Pairing: Vash x reader, previous Eriks!Vash x reader
Warnings: Potential spoilers for episode 12 of Trigun Stampede, potential spoilers for episode 18 of Trigun, hinting towards PTSD/trauma, the author taking liberties
Tumblr media
The town was quieter than either of you remembered.
Perhaps it was because people weren't fighting to leave anymore, and bandits no longer ran the place.
"It's so quiet," Vash mumbled to your side, reading your thoughts exactly.
"I know," You replied, squeezing his hand gently in yours, "It's strange, isn't it? Do you think they're still here?"
Vash just hummed quietly in response, "I think so. Let's go, only one way to find out, right?"
The smile Vash gave you was bright, and it coaxed a matching smile out of you in a way only Vash could. With another reassuring squeeze of Vash's hand, the two of you began to walk through the town, reminiscing at the times the two of you had spent here.
This was the town where, a couple years after the disaster in July city, you had reunited with Vash. You had believed that Vash, the love of your life, had perished in the incident, or was permanently in hiding and that you'd never see him again. However, you were wrong, as Vash had been there in front of you as Eriks when you'd blown into this town all those years ago. You didn't recognize him at first, but Eriks had felt familiar to you for reasons you couldn't identify. That is, until you realized he wasn't Eriks - he was Vash. Your Vash.
From that point forward, you had never left Vash's side. Through thick and thin, you stuck by him, comforting him and giving Vash the courage to continue onward with what he needed to do. You and Vash were inseparable, right up until Vash's encounter with his brother, Knives. Once it was all over, and the worst had passed, you and Vash had decided to bind yourselves to one another in every way you knew how, which led to the rings you both wore - yours on your left ring finger, and Vash's on a chain around his neck. Reminders of the promises the two of you had made to each other.
"Wow," you whistled out, looking around the town - people seemed to be calmer, happier, even greeting the two of you as you walked through the streets, "Are you sure this is the same town, Vash?"
You heard Vash chuckle beside you, "Yup, I'm pretty sure. I did spend a few years here, you know."
"Oh, I know, Eriks," You shot back immediately, cocking an eyebrow at your husband.
Vash let out a nervous laugh and rubbed the back of his neck, "R-Right, sorry... I sometimes forget you knew me as Eriks, too."
"Finding you was the happiest day of my life, Vash. Regardless of the name you had, the clothes your wore or the way you looked that day. I found you. That's all that mattered to me, and that's still the only thing that matters to me."
You spoke so simply, every word a well-known fact to you, and it made Vash's heart swell in his chest. He fought back the urge to cry in front of you, instead opting to lift your joined hands so that he could press a gentle kiss to the back of yours, followed by a second kiss to the ring you wore on your finger. His ring.
"I'm so glad you found me, (Y/N). I dread to think what might've happened had you not."
You smiled at Vash's words, "I'm afraid you're stuck with me now, Stampede."
"I wouldn't have that any other way. I love you, (Y/N)."
"I love you, too, Vash. Now, let's go find Grandma Sheryl and Lina."
"Right!"
The two of you continued to walk hand-in-hand, progressing towards the farmhouse that you both knew had been home to Vash for 2 years.
Sure enough, the farmhouse looked exactly as you remembered - the same weathered paint, the Thomases strolling in their pen outside, the same porch with the rocking chair Grandma Sheryl loved, everything felt as though it were frozen in time.
Vash suddenly stopped walking, and when you turned to look at him, you could see the worry on his face.
"It's okay, Vash. Lina and Grandma Sheryl will recognize you, and I know they'll be happy to see you. Remember, they asked Wolfwood and I to take good care of you."
Your voice was gentle, and you just stood there next to your husband, waiting for him to feel comfortable enough to take the step forward on his own. You knew him well enough that pushing him would get you nowhere - you just had to be patient and kind to him, especially when he wasn't patient or kind to himself.
"Right."
Vash's voice was quiet, and you could see he was remembering something from the faraway look in his eyes. Likely reliving his time here as Eriks, and likely all the horrors that had followed. All the friends he had lost, all the death and all the sorrow, he was reliving it all in that moment.
You reached up slowly, resting your hand gently on Vash's face so as to not startle him, cupping his cheek delicately in your palm as you stroked his cheek with your thumb, "It's okay, my love. You're here, with me. Come back to me."
Sometimes, your words were enough to bring Vash out of his thoughts. Sometimes, they weren't, and that was okay, too. Vash had gone through so much, and you knew he needed time to come to terms with everything and heal as best as he could. You would be there, no matter how long it took, no matter what happened.
This time, though, your words proved enough and Vash's eyes cleared, his focus landing on you as he gave you a soft, thankful smile. He didn't need words to express just how much he appreciated your presence, your patience and your love.
"Come on," You encouraged softly, tugging your husband forward slightly, "Let's go see Sheryl and Lina."
Vash just chuckled and let you tug him forward, allowing you to give him the courage to face the people who had sheltered him, fed him, clothed him and loved him until he had upped and left.
You knocked on the heavy wooden door, your knocks echoing loudly around you both as you waited for somebody to answer. You could hear footsteps from inside, as well as two voices yelling incomprehensible things to each other before the door swung open.
There, standing taller and looking more grown up than ever, was Lina.
She blinked a couple times as she gazed at your face, then at Vash's, then back to yours, then back to Vash's, trying to make sense of what she was seeing. Then-
"ERIKS?!"
Before Vash could register what was happening, Lina had thrown herself at him, enveloping him in a tight hug, tears streaming down her cheeks as she yelled.
"Oh, my God, Eriks, you're back! What took you so long, you idiot?! Grandma and I were worried about you, you hardly wrote to us! You really kept us in the dark, you know! I can't believe you're back, I've missed you so much!"
Vash could only chuckle as he held the weeping girl, who despite having grown up, was still small and young in his eyes.
He rubbed her back comfortingly, mumbling softly, "I missed you, too, Lina. I'm sorry I didn't write, it's been a very hard time until lately."
You stood there, smiling warmly as you took in the touching scene before you, as Lina embraced Vash with everything she had in her. Vash was like a big brother to Lina, and you knew how much she loved him and how much he loved her. It was obvious, right up to the moment when Lina cried as Vash left to continue his journey all those years ago.
Once Lina had gotten enough of her tears and emotions out, she drew back from Vash, turning to look at you and then, suddenly, she was hugging you tightly, too.
You let out a startled yelp as Lina almost knocked you over, but you quickly returned her embrace, hugging her tightly - she was still the feisty, strong girl you remembered.
"We missed you, Lina. Look how you've grown!" You exclaimed, rubbing her back gently and smiling at her as she hugged you.
"Yeah, that happens when you're gone for a few years!" She snapped back, her voice still thick with tears.
A twinge of guilt spiked through you, and given the expression on Vash's face, you knew that the feeling was shared, but there was no point to dwell on it now.
"I know, Lina, and I'm sorry. We're both sorry," You whispered gently, brushing away the young girl's tears as you looked down at her, "But we're here now."
Lina just nodded her head before wiping her face with her sleeve, taking a couple steps back as she tried to recollect herself before pointing at you and Vash, "Good. You two better not be leaving anytime soon."
At that, you and Vash both let out a laugh, with you putting up your hands in defence, "Alright, alright, yes ma'am! We're not going anywhere for a bit."
Your answered seemed to pacify Lina, until her eyes suddenly narrowed as she saw something glint on your hand - your ring.
The gasp that escaped her startled you as she ran forward, clutching your hand in hers as she gawked at your ring, "(Y/N), are you married now?!"
You let out a laugh, "Yes, indeed. Have been for a little while."
"Who's the culprit?"
You let out another laugh at Lina's question, and you heard Vash laughing next to you, causing Lina to glance at him curiously, "Why are you laughing, Eriks?"
"Because he's the culprit, as you put it," You answered, stifling another laugh as you saw Lina's incredulous expression.
"No way. You married Eriks?!"
Vash just reached around his neck and revealed the chain that bore his matching wedding ring, causing Lina to squeal loudly.
"What?! No fair, the two of you got married?! And you didn't tell us?! What the hell, that's not cool, you two better have another wedding here with us so we can attend or so help me!"
Both you and Vash were now laughing harder than you had in a little while, with Vash coming up and pulling you and Lina both into his arms, holding you both close to him. In that moment, Vash knew peace unlike he had ever known before, laughing as he embraced those he felt were his family - the person who was like his little sister, and the person who was the love of his life, his spouse. That moment was perfect, and Vash felt a pang of longing, wishing he could stay in this moment forever with the two of you. But, soon enough, Lina pulled back from the hug, tugging both you and Vash towards the inside of the house.
"Come on, you have to see Grandma Sheryl! Oh, she'll be so happy to see you both!"
You and Vash just looked at each other softly, smiles appearing on your faces as let Lina guide you both into the house. In that moment, both you and Vash knew nothing but peace, happiness, and love, and in the end, everything looked hopeful.

Don't say you love me, unless you do.
He didn't have to act like an arse. Sure, he was stressed and busy. That overworking dude seriously. But, you were only trying to help him. The only thing you said was
"Hey, Lucifer! Do you want me to help you?"
What bad thing did you say? Exactly, nothing. But, there's a thing you see, people take your love and care for granted and forget that you have feelings too. Humans do that all the time. Can you really blame the demons? Yes, you can. Because being a bloody prick can never solve anything. What's bad is bad. Dosen't matter what species they are.
He went out of his way and called you "Pathetic, insufferable little human", "annoying happy-go-lucky", "immature and insensitive." Lots of other stuff probably, you don't even remember everything.
You didn't cry in front him. Instead, you stared back with a raging fire in your eyes and snapped "Damn, what all of them said about you is true after all."
That rendered him speechless. Good, you won't let him tear your soul just because he feels like it. You are so done being the sweet and forgiving one. Have they really forgotten that you can feel? That's it. That's so fucking it.
You had stormed off from his office and requested Solomon to pick you up. Surprising, that you didn't break down in tears. You could feel rage bubbling inside your veins like hot lava. Damn him and his stupid pride. You wanted to scream and throw things.
"(Y/N)??"
It was Simeon. Yup, you ended up crashing in the Purgatory hall, of course. But why Simeon is calling in the middle of the night?
"What is it man?"
"Ummm... I guess you should go outside and see for yourself."
You huffed but eventually obliged. You already had a hunch about what it might be and that's exactly why you were reluctant to go.
Sure enough, it was the person—demon you didn't want to face. What? He is capable of pulling that puppy dog look? Well, too bad, you ain't falling for it, not today. Wait, are those... tear stains? Ah man seriously? He knows so damn well that you are soft. But bloody hell man he looks like shit and that's that.
"(Y/N), I'm sorr—
"Apology unaccepted, now leave. Goodnight."
"There's nothing good about this night when you are not by my side."
"Flattery will get you nowhere, Lucifer. You realize that I'm not a robot right? I have feelings too and YOU—Mr, congratulations! you officially lost my trust."
Every word that came out of your mouth struck him like a bullet. He didn't mean it. He didn't mean anything. He made a grave mistake—again. He dosen't deserve anymore chances. Still, his heart wants you. His body automatically moves toward you.
"I'm really sorry... I-I know I caused a lot of damage. I feel shame... But, (Y/N), I love you..."
"Don't say you love me, unless you do."
"(Y/N)...."
You were doubting his love for you and that was enough to understand the weight of the situation. Well, it was him who digged his own grave, as simple as that.
His eyes welled up. You could see his hands trembling like crazy. Well, shit. You aren't supposed to give in. Not after what he did. You shouldn't welcome him back in your life. He isn't worth that. Or... wait... true, he destroyed your feelings today but... you can't deny that in countless situations he helped you in every way he can. Also.... watching him so miserable... You are supposed to feel the taste of sweet sweet revenge. Then...why it makes you sad...? Damn him for having such a strong hold over you.
"Lucifer..."
Whatever decision you take, it's going to be a turning point. Do you really want to lose him? Not really... The answer is crystal clear. You want him back.
"Fine, you know what you are lucky. But, I swear to god, this is the last fucking time I—
You couldn't finish your sentence. He was holding you like you will disappear in thin air. You could feel sobs wrecking his body. Now, who is the pathetic one? Probably, something you would've loved to say. But, no, you could feel the genuineness. Argh... why do you love him so much?
You blinked back the tears. Fine, just this once he will get away with it because you love him too damn much.

Summary : tip toeing has never gotten you anywhere, and with your undying crush for your roommate, you definitely aren't tip toeing through it too.
>>pairing : Jungkook x fem!reader
>>trope : roommates to lovers
>>genre : tiny angst, fluff, tiny ahh smut
>>word count : 1.7k
>>warnings/tags : softkoo, teasing, makeout sesh, dry humping, cumming through panties and briefs, mention of jungkooks legs, confessions, some attempt at poetry?.., they're cute.
a/n - uhh I'm trying to get descriptive as possible with my writing, but for now, here's something from jungkooks part 1 live!! And just little side comment. Set me free pt 2?!?!? Makes me wanna write for Jimin😭. Uhm anyways enjoy and feedback is very encouraging and I want it so much, so please don't be shy. (Not proof read)
~★~
"Too cold or too hot?"
"Just right, Kook."
Sitting in your shared living room, you and your roommate sit discussing the weather.
"Right?! Thank heavens this weather isn't boiling or freezing us to death." Jungkook exaggerates, while standing up to head to the kitchen.
His legs are on display today as he sports a Nike short and a black shirt, hair ridden as it frames his pretty face. Though you won't tell him.
"Yup." You reply, popping your p.
Your head is tilted to the side as you try to peak at Jungkook, and see what he is doing in the kitchen. He looks like he's pouring a drink for you both as your ears recieve the sound of two glasses hitting the countertop and you lick your lips at the though of the drink. Your cravings for jungkooks treat sitting at the back of your mind.
Both you and Jungkook have been roommates for about 4 years and oh has it been the most tempting years of your life.
While you try to avoid your feelings, You're completely oblivious of Jungkooks own.
Well mainly cause, he'll like to bring his hookups in the apartment and fuck them dizzy till morning while you quietly sob cause you're in that deep.
But they'd be gone by morning. The feelings, you mean. Atleast you try to rid them by getting hookups as well, and damn, they dont work. You'll be thinking of Jungkook during a makeout sesh, and it completely throws you off.
Why did you fall for him again? Why can't he like you back? And why is it yout goddamn roommate of four years?
All these questions play like a song playing on loop on your Spotify playlist. Haunting you on and on.
And this song. It never stops. As hard as you try to pause the song, to stop the song, or move on to the next song. It is nearly impossible and it pisses you off.
Because you just wanna play the next song. You wanna think of something different.
Maybe the sun and how bright it is, or the stars and how glowy they are or even think of what to eat Tommorow. But it is almost impossible with that same damn song playing in your mind and worst part ever?
You aren't fucking bored of it.
The glass in front of you and Jungkooks voice pulls you out of your thoughts.
"You're zoning out an awfall lot, Princess." He teases, but lowkey serious.
"O-Oh right, Thanks, Kook." You reply, completely letting the petname pass off as normal.
Jungkook moves closer to you out of instinct as one of his hands come up to fix your sundress strap that was falling off.
You cough slightly, "Thank you, Kook." He only nods and lays his head on your bare shoulder right after taking a sip of his iced coffee.
"Tell me what's on your mind." He prods.
What is on your mind? Could possibly be him. But you won't tell him that.
"A date I have tonight." You blurt. Well it's not entirely a lie, but Mya did invite you for this double date with strangers she found on tinder.
To be fair, she thought it'd be fun.
Jungkook bluffs as he sits up. "You? A date? Since when?"
"Oh why do you care?" You spit. Unintentionally being mean.
"I was just joking, chill. And it was a simple question, ____." You render in your head, that yeah it was a simple question and you're just so fucking sensitive, because you have a big fat crush on Jungkook. Emphasis on the fat.
"Right. I lowkey don't wanna go though." You mumble, but Jungkook catches it.
"Stay with me then. We can ball out on the Whiskey and watch some John Wick before the new one comes out. And when it does, watch it with me. On me. I'll pay for everything." He says, eyes daring into yours as he finishes, tongue toying with his lip piercing.
When you dint respond for almost a minute. Jungkooks tattooed hand reaches out to touch your bare thigh, caressing it softly to gain your attention. "Mmh,Princess. What ya' think?"
Stuttering, "oh yeah right, that's perfect. I'll text Mya to cancel." You respond.
Jungkooks hand never leaves your thigh as he continues to caress it while you scramble for your phone that's next to you, to send Mya a quick text.
Your mind is wobbly and all over the place as you text Mya. Jungkooks hand distracting the shit out of you.
You : Hey, Babes. I'm sooooooo sorry but Junhkook lowkey making a move rn and I'm canceling on that date 😓 pls don't kill me. Atleast you can have a threesome tonight!!😟🕺🏾🕺🏾
After sending your informing but long text, Mya quickly responds the second you do.
Mya <3!! : I hate u😟 but have fun m'lady😓💕
You chuckle at the text, almost forgetting Jungkooks hand laying on your thigh.
Settling your phone down, you mumble an 'excuse me' to Jungkook as you stand up to get the Whiskey in the cabinet.
"Bring the cheap one!" Jungkook shouts from the living room. And from where you are, you can see him scrolling on his phone, a small smirk playing on his lips.
A mischievous like smirk. Probably looking through his next hookups text messages.
You ignore the feeling of jealousy in your heart. Shaking off the bitter feeling as you bend over to grab the Whiskey at the back. The furthest the cheapest.
You grab two Whiskey glasses and head over to the living room. Settling everything down, you swiftly lean back as your hair shadows your face and you do your best to move It away.
You both go through a whole hour of silence and making some small comments about the movie you're watching, while balling out on the Whiskey.
Never abruptly stopping with the Whiskey, you both end up finishing a whole bottle, and immediately after that, Jungkook gets up to get the second bottle.
This the 3rd hour. Second movie. More silence, yet so silently, little do you know what plays in Jungkooks mind.
"You didn't tell me you were into tattoos." Jungkook breaks the silence.
Taking a seat and handing him his glass of Whiskey after pouring what seems to both of your 10th glass you softly sigh. "Well I am. And how do you know this?" You question with furrowed brows.
"Your Instagram. And you've never expressed that love for my tats." He smirks.
"Y-you saw my insta?" You breathlessly ask. Feeling a wave of shock come over you. He was fucking Smirking at your Instagram.
He nods, "yeah. It's sexy."
That tickles your pussy. And feeling bold enough, you play along as you slowly take a sip of your Whiskey, finger seductively rubbing the rim of the glass.
"Oh yeah? How sexy?" You question.
Jungkook moves closer and grabs the glass from you, "the fact that it's you. That's sexy enough." He finishes, placing the whisky on the coffee table.
"Are you drunk?" You ask. Ignoring his comment.
"Takes more than that to make drunk. Why? You think I'll regret this?" He softly sighs ; moving closer to you, he grabs your waist and settles your body on his lap. Hands rubbing your waist.
Truth is, you do think he'll regret this. But you shake your head no. Maybe if he just fucked you, all the feelings would leave.
And you'd be free from the looped song that continues to play.
Lips hovering yours, you lean in closer, hands placed on his rigid shoulder.
Jungkook abruptly turns his head to the side, and your heart aches.
"Be honest. Did you think I'd regret this?"
You whisper an audible, "yes."
His lips encase yours for a long peck, that feels loving and reassuring.
"Trust me, I really have a thing for you. That typa shit that makes me wanna do what couples in New York do. Show everyone that you're mine and I'm yours. I have for the longest time."
You almost feel dizzy at his confession. Not because you refuse to believe it's real, you've wanted this to be real for the longest. It just now occurred to you that he felt the exact same way.
As your way of responding, your lips land on his for a sweet kiss that he leads. Really soft smacks of you both kissing resounding in the room.
You briefly pull away after a minute of kissing, "I like you, too." You shyly mumble.
Out of embarrassment, you bury your face in his chest and Jungkook chuckles above you and you know this because his chest rumbles.
"You're so cute." He whispers, fingers playing with your ear, and you smile up at him, meeting his smile as well. Drunken but he's not really that drunk.
Your eyes lazily shut and you cuddle closer into him.
"____," He starts and you pay him attention as you lean up. "Can I please be your boyfriend?" He asks. Hands holding yours like a delicate flower. Your favorites even.
You giggle and that makes his heart skips a beat. Who would've thought the sound of your laughs would make his heart smile so much.
"Yes, Jungkook. You can. I'd love that so much."
He smiles and it almost reaches his ear but you attack him with a kiss, sloppily making out with your Boyfriend, and his hands come up to caress your him, guiding you to grind on his prominent bulge.
"Argh- fuck, just like that." He props of your mouth, leaning to kiss up your neck as you grind on him with force, making yourself incredibly wet, that it soaks right through your floral lacey thong, soiling Jungkooks expensive Shorts.
You go about dry humping him. Hoping to cum that way.
The moans in the room.are synced and ragged and broken up as Jungkook grinds up into you, hoping to find his release as well.
You finally cum in your panties, head coming down onto Jungkooks shoulder as he shoots into his briefs, releasing as well.
"Oh, God." You muffle in his shoulder, feeling lightheaded from all the alcohol and energy put into humping.
Chuckling, "you Okay, sweetie?" Jungkook questions.
You would've answered simultaneously, but you're Slumped and deep into your sleep already.
Jungkook notices this when he tries to get a view of you above him.
"So pretty." He murmurs at your sleepikg figure, placing a loving peck on your forehead after moving his sweaty hair from his face and you're both loudly snoring after that.
In your mind, you're really glad that you were able to get rid of the looped song.

Hii! Can I request a Tommy x reader (romantic) where they’re just chilling at Tommys apartment together and she jokingly hits him with a pillow and runs off and he catches her and they start play fighting just lots and lots of fluff <33 she/her pronouns or they/them if you want
I am a sucker for fluff... I used a third person POV for this one! Let me know if you like it, or which POV you prefer.
Pairing: Tommyinnit x Female!Reader (romantic)
Fluffy Fighting
Tumblr media
"You can edit more in the morning, please get some sleep." She begs.
Tommy, ever persistent on his editing conquest, doesn't even turn his chair around to answer. "I'll be done eventually."
"But at what cost?"
To that he doesn't reply. Although she knew Tommy loved YouTube and Twitch, this was taking it a bit far. Some of his subtitlers went on vacation so he decided to subtitle his video himself, but it was just taking forever. A whole day of editing! That meant she hadn't gotten to spend any actual time with her boyfriend despite having been invited to his apartment.
"You're going to fuck up your sleep schedule." She tries again, but to no avail.
Stubbornness was both a good and a bad trait, for this exact reason.
"I'll fix it eventually." He dismisses.
That's it. Grabbing a pillow from the bed, she stands and quietly approaches him. He doesn't spot her, so she hits him on the head with it.
Immediately, his hands stop moving on the keyboard and mouse. With a swallow, she backs up a few steps and drops the pillow. At least he's spun his chair around?
"Did you just hit me with a fucking pillow?"
"No?"
The way his lips are tugging up into a grin, ruining his fake frown, betray him. See, she knows that look. It was his bad idea look, his "I'm going to drag you into my bad idea look", and in general his mischievous look. So, like any sane person would, she turns tail and runs.
Within seconds she can hear him running after her. The thing about Tommy was that he was tall with long legs, meaning she was absolutely screwed.
“Get back here, bitch!” He yells.
She raises her middle finger in his vague direction, too busy rounding the couch to actually look behind her. When she fakes left he jolts that way, and when he fakes right she jolts the other way.
To her right is a half-finished Lego set, so she grabs a Lego and chucks it at him.
"Hey!" He yells, finding it and throwing it back. "Leave my Legos out of this!" After a second of a weird stand-off, he attempts to hop the couch. It’s more of an awkwardly slow tumble, sending her into laughter.
Unfortunately for her, he recovers quickly. Noticing a second too late she barely turns around before he’s grabbing her wrist and tugging her backwards. Arms wrap around her waist once she’s in range, trapping her in his embrace.
“I am going to suffocate you.” He announces.
“Wait, please, I have a family.”
“Not anymore!”
"I have so much to live for!" She fake sobs.
"Like what, bitch?!"
A small smile grows on her face, her next words glaringly obvious.
"Well, I have this boyfriend named Tommy who I'm pretty sure would like me to live."
"Well what if he doesn't?"
"...fuck. Didn't consider that."
Finally, Tommy laughs and breaks his character.
"Guess my boyfriend won't get kisses from me anymore." She hums, slipping out of his now-relaxed hold.
"Wait." He pouts. "I do want you to live!"
"Oh, in that case..."
She turns around to face him, leaning up for a kiss. After a second she can't help herself, and mumbles against his lips, "I win."
"What?" He laughs, pulling away with a faint blush.
"You aren't editing. I win."
"You tricked me!"
"Yup. And it worked. So you have to go to bed now, because I won."
"I didn't agree to that!"
"My rules."
"This is-" A yawn cuts him off halfway through, and he doesn't attempt to finish the sentence.
"Exactly. Come on, we can fall asleep to Moana or something."
"Moana is actually so fucking good."
"I know, I know."
Before she can head back to his bedroom, he steps closer again and kisses her again. Her hands go around his neck, his around her waist, and they sway just a little.
“Fine. Let’s sleep.” He finally relents.
Now that he's given up trying to resist, it only takes a few minutes for the both of them to find their way to bed. Moana plays on his laptop, but it's almost useless as they both find themselves falling asleep within minutes, curled safely into each other.

Somewhat the Pure
Should(n't) leave
Ruby: You need to leave. The store is closing.
Somewhat: Can I stay a little longer? We don't have a lot of cheese at home.
Ruby: It's the company rule. (Eyes watering) Y-You have to go. I'm sorry.
Somewhat: Just a little bit? I get chased by cats when I try to get cheese at home...
Ruby: G... G-Give me a second!
Ruby: Weiss, please, can they stay? I can't kick them out, they're too adorable! Can't we, I don't know, let them stay here as a mascot or something? I don't know!
Weiss: I don't care if they're Adrian Cotta Arc! They need to leave right now! And I'll show you how it's done!
Weiss: Alright, store's closing! Get out! This is your last warning, and if you refuse, then I'll force you out!
Somewhat: Please, miss, I'll give you as much money as I can if you let me stay...
Weiss: This... This is a button.
Somewhat: I'm sorry, but this is all the money I have right now. But if you let me stay, I promise I'll get you more.
Weiss: (Eyes watering) I... I-I can't do it! You're the boss now!
Somewhat: Oh, I don't know how to run a business. Oh...
---------------------------------------------------
Company owner
Ruby: Uh, okay, so, uh, the quarterly... projection... things are in, and we're, uh... We're not doing too good. Weiss says we're gonna have to downsize.
Somewhat: Oh... And I got so used to being Somewhat, and now I have to be Little again.
Ruby: W... We're not shrinking you, we're choosing which department is getting fired.
Somewhat: Oh, well, I hope they have enough ointments for their burns.
Ruby: No, they're... They're not going to be allowed to work here anymore.
Somewhat: They're being forced to quit?
Ruby: Yup.
Somewhat: No.
Ruby: But... But we have to!
Somewhat: But they won't afford cheese if they're forced to quit.
Ruby: We're going to go bankrupt if we don't let one of the departments go, and Weiss will be really mad at us! It's just how it is!
Somewhat: But it's awful.
Ruby: If you have a better idea, I'd love to hear it!
Somewhat: Give everyone cheese. I want everyone to be happy and not lose their jobs. It's mean...
Ruby: What? That... That's not going to work. We're going to go bankrupt, and Weiss is going to yell at us, and-
Somewhat: Please?
Ruby: (Eyes water) ...I'm going to regret this, but okay. I just can't say no! I just can't say-
Ruby: (Looking at the massive profits, Shocked) No way did that work! But it did, and now I'm going to go cry in the bathroom at the monster I almost became!
Somewhat: Here's some tissues.
Ruby: (Sobbing) THANK YOU SO MUCH!
---------------------------------------------------
Headmaster of Beacon
Ruby: Congratulations on your first day, Headmaster Somewhat.
Somewhat: Wait, how did I get here?
Ruby: Oh, we just skipped the election entirely and everyone agreed you should be in charge.
Somewhat: Oh, uh, I don't remember running.
Ruby: Everyone just likes you that much.
Somewhat: Oh, well, thank you, I suppose.
Ruby: But since you are now in charge, we have to get started on these items on our to-do list. I'll read them off and you just give me your opinion.
Somewhat: Oh, well, alright.
Ruby: Okay, first of all is the Dust Hike.
Somewhat: Oh, well, that sounds lovely.
Ruby: What?
Somewhat: If it means cleaner floors, then we should help dust be healthier and more active.
Ruby: Headmaster, it's another way to say "increasing taxes".
Somewhat: Well, if the taxes will help the dust be more active and healthy, then why not increase it?
Ruby: ...
Ruby: (Eyes welling) W-We'll, uh, just come back to that later. Separation of Faunus and Humans.
Somewhat: Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that their marriage didn't work out.
Ruby: Humans and Faunus aren't people- I-I MEAN, they ARE people, but they're not one person. It's about racial segregation.
Somewhat: I don't know what that means, and now I'm in a sad mood. Can we go to the next one please?
Ruby: (Pauses, Takes a deep breath) Yes, headmaster. Next topic is... The White Fang.
Somewhat: What's The White Fang?
Ruby: ...
Somewhat: ...Is there a problem?
Ruby: Somewhat, there's not a single scenario I can think of that wouldn't somehow ruin your innocence.
Somewhat: What's innocence?
Ruby: ...We're just gonna move on to the last issue.
Somewhat: Okay.
Ruby: Oh, thank you, Oum. Uh... The current war.
Somewhat: Oh, there's a war going on?
Ruby: Yes, do you have any battle tactics?
Somewhat: Oh, uh, well, I don't really know. I don't even know all of the Headmasters yet. I don't think I'm qualified for this.
Ruby: Headmaster, I don't think Salem is going to give you time to learn, and-
Salem: (Seer flies in, Projects herself) Headmaster Somewhat, I'm willing to put the war on hold until you learn all the Headmasters names. Because I really like you.
Somewhat: Oh, well, um... Th-Thank you for your kindness, Ma'am.
Salem: You're welcome. (Seer flies out)
Ruby: Okay, uh... I-I guess we're good for now... Who is this?
Somewhat: Um... Is that... Jane Ironbark?
Ruby: (Almost crying) N-No, but... You're getting closer, buddy...
Somewhat: Thank you.
Ruby: Y-Y-You're welcome!
---------------------------------------------------
Rules the World
Ruby: Alright, Somewhat, you rule all of Remnant now. The entire world! That's a pretty big deal!
Somewhat: I only went to the store to buy cheese. I don't know how I got here.
Ruby: Just go with it. Depression is already at an all-time high.
Somewhat: What's depression?
Ruby: It's not a thing with you around, little buddy!
Somewhat: Oh, I'm sorry, Depression. I didn't mean to scare you away. Maybe we can find you some friends if you come back.
Ruby: Somewhat... Depression is when people are really, really sad. It's not a person.
Somewhat: Well, it's a person to me. I think everyone deserves to be happy. Even depression.
Ruby: (About to cry) This is exactly why you're in charge...
Somewhat: Well, I'm really confused, but thank you.
Ruby: (Sighs) Anyway, first order of business-
Somewhat: W-Wait! I'm really nervous! When I was Headmaster of Beacon, I had a lot of tough choices to make, but now that I'm charge of the whole world, I feel like there are more choices with even more difficult decisions, and... Oooh...
Ruby: Somewhat, you have nothing to worry about at all! It's all been fixed!
Somewhat: Really?
Ruby: Yup! As soon as Remnant heard you were going to be in charge, all the Kingdoms came together and fixed all of their problems all at once. They didn't want to make you nervous. They- They couldn't do it.
Somewhat: That... That sounds too strange to be true.
Ruby: Somewhat, you gotta understand, being a world leader who HATES Somewhat the Mouse is political sui... A career ender.
Somewhat: Wait, who's Sue?
Ruby: Sue is... a really good friend from school!
Somewhat: Oh, well, she sounds lovely.
Ruby: Yeah, yeah, but, uh, you don't have to worry about anything because everything is all good now.
Somewhat: Wait, then what do I do?
Ruby: Don't worry, we have the "Solve it!" button now and you just press it, and it fixes everything!
Somewhat: ...That's it?
Ruby: Yup!
Somewhat: ...And everyone is okay with this?
Ruby: Yup, everyone in the whole world will completely agree and nobody is forced, or coerced, or brainwashed into agreeing. It's not even political at this point, because everyone is going to like it.
Somewhat: W-Well, okay. (Taps button)
THAT WAS EASY
Ruby: Thank you. Now here's your trophy.
Somewhat: Oh, I couldn't accept a trophy-
Ruby: There's cheese in it.
Somewhat: OH! (Takes trophy, Eats the cheese)
Ruby: ...This is good.
---------------------------------------------------
Murder Mouse
Somewhat: Are we going trick or treating soon?
Ruby: Oh, uh, yup! Yup! Just give me a minute to get things ready outside!
Somewhat: Oh, well, uh, okay then.
Ruby: Thanks, Somewhat~!
Ruby: (Shuts door) Great. Now, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Mercury: I'm having the best day of my life to be honest.
Ruby: HOW?!
Mercury: It's like Somewhat the Mouse... BUT HE DO THE MURDER!
Ruby: Why would you make this?! They didn't do anything to you!
Mercury: It's a project I've had in my mind since I was little baby. This is what my life has been leading up to!
Ruby: You got this from a Bionic Fishin' skit.
Mercury: Shut the fu- Shut up!
Ruby: You listen here; if they see this, they'll-!
Somewhat: Everything alright out here?
Ruby: S-SOMEWHAT!
Somewhat: Is that a horror version of me?
Ruby: U-Uh, well, uh-
Mercury: Yup.
Somewhat: Oh, well, can I make one request?
Mercury: What?
Somewhat: Can you put a disclaimer telling everyone I'm sorry I'm scaring them. I won't tell you to stop, but I'd appreciate it if everyone knew I never intended to scare anyone ever. The idea of me hurting anyone makes me feel awful...
Mercury: (Strained) ...S-Sure?
Somewhat: Thank you very much. I'll just get my candy bag ready then. Have a wonderful night. (Goes inside)
Mercury: (Sniffles) I-I don't think I want to do this anymore!
Ruby: I TOLD YOU!

Second chances: a fnaf au
Part 2
CHAPTER 1: Wake Up
Fire. Blazing fire.
Despite the dire circumstances Michael actually felt quite calm. It was over, he and Henry had succeeded. They rounded up all the animatronics, and burned it all down. Now it is time to rest, and he was all too happy to do so...
EEEEH EEEEEH EEEEEEEEH
Michael shot up. Fire. There was no fire. Where was the fire? He wasn't in his office anymore. He was in a bedroom. His bedroom. Not his adult bedroom, his childhood bedroom. Before he could fully process anything he heard knocking on the door, "MIIIIKEEEEY!!!! TURN THAT ALARM OFF! IT'S ANNOYING!" Elizabeth? No that can't be. Michael swung his legs off the side his bed and slammed him hand down on the clock. Was it all just a dream? He wondered, no. This is a second chance.
***
Michael jogged down the stairs. If this really is a second chance he won't waste it. No more fox mask, no more scaring Evan, no more pranks. Besides, William was barely around anyways, his siblings need someone to step up and be the parent.
The house was just as he remembered it. Neet with only a few toys here and there. Family photos decorated the walls, not a single smile found in any one of them. If you're visiting for the first time you would think its a cozy average home, but it really wasn't. Michael will never forget just how cold it felt, with each life lost the house only got colder. Well that's just going to have to change, Michael thought.
Walking into the kitchen Michael saw Elizabeth trying to reach for a box of cereal. She was right there, alive, not some phsycho clown animatronic. She's alive, He's alive, Evan's alive. Everyone is back, and he could save them all. For now though, he had to act natural. So he did. He totally did. "Haaaay Lizzie. What uh... what are you trying to do?" He said, god, this was harder than he thought. It's not every day you burn in a fire and wake up in your childhood home.
Elizabeth turned and gave him an odd look, "whats up with you? Got a stick up your butt?" She proceeded to give him a snarky grin.
"Haha very funny. What are you doing?"
"Trying to get to the cereal," she pointed up at the cereal box. Cinnimon charm puffs? Michael thought, didn't those get banned in the 90s?
Michael glared up at them, they deffinately did. "Why those? Don't we have something better," he muttered walking to the fridge. Yup there was a carton of eggs and a pack of bacon. If he's gonna do things right he is gonna do them right. No more cinnomon lucky cherrios or whatever they were called. He could have sworn they got banned for having vile levels of caffiene in them. Who even puts caffiene in cereal?
Elizabeth glared, "Daddy said we aren't allowed to use the stove."
"Yeah well, father isn't here to stop me," Michael snarked, "where's Evan? He's gonna miss breakfast."
"He's in his room. This isn't some elaborate plan to scare him again is it? You arent hiding that dumb Foxy mask anywhere are you?"
Oh right. That. First thing Michael did before coming down was throw it under his bed. He didn't want to see that nasty thing anywhere near him ever again, "no. I'm uh... I'm done with that. No more pranks. No more foxy mask."
Elizabeth looked skeptical, but she went off to Evan's room anyways. Evan. Michael's gonna have to be prepaired to see him again. Will Evan cry? He doesn't want to see that again. He'll probably cry too! He has to hold it together. It's hard enough to explane his sudden change in personality, but to explain why he broke down in ugly sobs the moment the kid he bullies enters the room? Yeah, there is no good explanation for that.
"Oh. He didn't hide'" Elizabeth said behind him. Michael turned, she was holding a small bat, and behind her was Evan. Poor Evan. He looked terrified.
Michael tried to look as friendly as possible, but that only seemed to make him more uncomfortable, "I uh... I made breakfast. You can go sit at the table." The two kids seamed skeptical but sat anyway. Michael placed down three plates with some fresh bacon and scrambled eggs, "you guys uh... you-you want toast??" He asked with a grin. Elizabeth gives him a suspicious glare, meanwhile Evan held his fredbear plush close and refused to make eye contact. Silence. Ooooh the uncomfortible silence. "Oookkk," Michael muttered, "no toast I guess."
Michael drums his fingers on the table. "You know what? I could go for some toast, yeah, toast, toast sound good," he said, shuffling back to the kitchen. While rummaging through the kitchen he hears Elizabeth and Evan whispering, he couldn't make anything out, but they sounded concirned. As he placed the toaster on the counter he felt a tug on his shirt, "whats wrong with you? You're being weird." Michael looked down, it was Elizabeth. She was giving him a frustrated and pouty look. "Nothings wrong," Michael said, "am I not allowed to be a good brother for once?"
"No, but it's still weird. You're usually mean and scary. THIS IS WEIRD! What did you do to our actual brother??"
"I am your actual brother Lizzy. I just decided to be better."
"Oh yeah? And what brought on this 'realization'"
"Fire. Blazing fire."
"What??"
"It was a uh... a dream. A lot of fire. I was in hell. Definitely hell."
Elizabeth glares at him again before sitting back at the table and begrudgingly took a bit of her eggs. Upon seeing this Evan cautiously took a bite and seemed pleasently surprised when nothing was tampered with. Michael started buttering his toast, glad that he atleast made a proper and enjoyable breakfast. It's been decades since he was able to eat so he wasn't too sure if he could make something that would actually taste good. Come to think of it. It's been decades since he needed to cook at all. How did he manage this? He was litteraly a zombie living alone. How in the world did he manage to retain the skill to cook?
Just as a was beginning to get a little too deep in thought he heard a small voice call from the dinning table, "Mikey. Can you make me some toast too?" It was Evan. Holding his plush close, he timidly did his best to look at Michael. Progress, Michael couldn't help it but have the biggest goofiest grin plastered on his face. Evan spoke to him and he didn't cry or stutter. He even called him Mikey!
"Sure! You want butter too?"
Evan nodded. Its not much, but its progress. Evan is still scared but he asked Michael for something! That's deffinately progress right? No matter. He's being a good brother. Sitting at the table he handed Evan his toast and began to eat. Food! Aaaaaah finally food! He was a corpse for so long he almost forgot what eggs and bacon tastes like. Everything is going right. He's alive, Evan's alive, Elizabeth is alive, he got exactly what he wished for, a second chance.

Started with one mission
Tumblr media
Before you continue, for the record, I've never played COD nor do I plan to. I cracked because of all the other stories and Tiktoks. If things are inaccurate I apologize in advance.
Inspiration: surprise by @kovieky (I found it on Ao3) and you make me nervous by @kovieky
Price x 141 reader
Call sign: Ironhide
The day you joined task force 141 it was one hell of an experience. The day you met the people who would go to any length for you, just as you would do for them. They were your friends, your family, and your determination to keep fighting. It's always something unexpected when you wake up every day.
You were in the mess hall with Soap, Gaz, and Ghost not long ago. While Price was in his office, Soap was telling you all a story about his upbringing.
"How about you, guys? Think about having little ones one day?” Soap inquires, a smirk on his face.
Gaz hummed as he chewed into his food. "I don't know, I've always dreamed to raise a family but having one, not sure."
"With our line of work, it'd be impossible," Ghost remarked.
Soap smiled at you with a cheeky optimistic grin. "How about you, lass? Imagine having kids?"
“Uh… I considered it. I'd like to have children, but I haven't found the right person yet, like Ghost said it'd be  difficult in this line of work." You responded by fiddling with your fingers. You lied; you did find the right guy, but he was your boss, your superior, and the team's captain.
"There were a couple, but they weren't really worth my time," you stated frankly. Besides, none of them compared to Price. They could never be. Price had your attention from the moment you met. Something in his eyes had you wrapped around his finger, and you were surprised that only Kate had noticed.
"I think you'd be a great parent," Gaz says with a warming smile, while Soap chuckles. "I'm sure those kids would be afraid of you."
"They would not!" you laughed. " Kids adore me, Johnny."
“Oh really?”
“Yup.”
“That’s something I want to see.”
Price entered the room while carrying a file of paperwork, just as you and Soap started to prod at one another. He whistled, capturing your attention.
...
Right now, you're standing in an empty house with a little girl clutching onto you, sobbing and whimpering to stay silent as the gunshots became increasingly closer.
"Ironhide! Do you copy?!"
The sound of your captain's voice made you wince. While inspecting the tiny house, you tightened your hold on the girl. Three bodies were there, two of which were likely the girl's parents—a man and a woman.
The other was an adversary you killed while trying to find a hiding place. It was then that the girl clung to you, wailing and shouting.
Price could be heard giving you directions to the chopper. They were still looking for you… You exhaled in relief but were quickly reminded that this was wrong. They were scheduled to go, which meant that you would be left behind and would never see them again.
"All right, we're going to run now. Hold on to me and don't let go." As you began to position the little girl on your back, you whispered to her. She nodded and placed her arms tightly around you, her hands on your vest.
“Copy.” That was all you said before leaving the house.
. . .
“Anything?” Gaz inquired, peering out the window of the chopper. "It's approximately 40 minutes."
“She’s coming.” Price stated firmly. "I know she is. Ironhide always pulls through."
Gaz nods and turns around to see Ghost and Soap approaching them. Soap shook his head. “Nothing.”
"We need to be going, sir, it's getting destructive out there," Ghost remarked. "If we spend any more time out here, they'll find us."
“Fuck!”
Price's heart ached as he realized they had to depart. They had to leave, and the sound of the chopper jolted Price into the present moment,  followed by a shout.
He came to a halt, it sounded like you. Was he losing his mind? He turned his head now, noticing someone running towards them.
“Ironhide… KID, HOLY FUCK!"
Price dashed towards you, catching you just as you were about to collapse.
"There's more…  coming… we need to…" you attempted to speak. When Price noticed the small girl on your back, he merely nodded his head, guiding you to the chopper.
Soap cheerfully greeted you before pausing mid-sentence to look at the child. Price assisted you in sitting down, while the girl sat on your lap, still crying.
You encircled her, hugging her close, doing your best to soothe her. Eventually, you were unable to maintain your open eyelids and fell asleep. Having the girl in your arms while you both slept caught Price's attention.
Price tenderly stroked the side of your cheek before gently touching your shoulder as you all returned to base. Instead of you, the little girl awoke, slightly yawning and rubbing her eyes, which appeared to bother her due to the grime on her face.
"Hey, sweetheart," Price said quietly.
Price's hand was kicked away from your sleeping form by the little girl. Price glanced at the girl in disbelief as he heard unexpected laughing from behind him.
"The tiny one doesn't like you, captain," Soap grinned.
"Right, so why don't you come get her then, mate?" Price sneered at Soap before stepping aside.
“Watch an learn.” Soap gave the little girl a friendly smile. "Hey beautiful, aren't you a cute one ay, come on out here so we can wake up our lass, yeah?"
The girl merely shouted at Soap's attempt to get closer to you before kicking him hard in the nose.  Soap fell backwards, clutching his nose, while Gaz and Price burst out laughing.
"What should we do now?" In order to avoid getting booted, Gaz questioned.
Ghost and Price exchanged glances before Ghost nodded, approached the girl, and pulled her away from you. The girl began to kick and scream.
"NO, MAMA!" As she witnessed Price begin to take you in his arms, the girl cried louder and louder.
"Did she just-" Gaz asks, his eyes wide.
"She did, indeed…" Soap laughed in response. "After all, Ironhide did say she wanted children."
"Is this even permitted?" Gaz inquired. Surely there was something about bringing a kid back to base. “Dunno, we’ll have to see.”
. . .
When you opened your eyes, you were met with a dazzling white light. As you heard beeping and a small child giggling, you sighed. You winced as you sat up, noticing the little girl playing with Price's bucket hat.
You locked your gaze on them for a moment, a warm smile spreading across your face. You couldn't deny you were in love with your captain. This sight was something you never wanted to forget.
Price turned to face you, a look of relief on his face. "Well look who's awake," he said as he tapped the girl.
With a wave of sparkle in her eyes, the tiny girl swung around and ran towards you, virtually belly flopping on top of you and putting her arms around your neck. "Mama's up!"
You froze, did she just…call you mama…as in mom?! A tidal rush of emotions slammed through you, and you put your arms around the girl as tears streamed down your face. You started to cry hysterically, and Price leaned over and caressed the side of your head.
“Why sad?” The girl asked, moving back to look at you. She started wiping your tears away with her fingers. You observed that she was wearing several bandages, including two that were wrapped over her arms and face.
"I'm just glad you're okay…" You mumbled.
When the door was knocked on, Price turned to see the doctor. "I apologize for bothering you, but may I borrow the girl?"
Your brows furrowed as you regarded Price. "Why do they need her?"
Price returned her gaze to you, "They're only running a few tests, sweetheart, to make sure she's not carrying anything."
"She's just a kid." You protested while clutching the girl.
"I know, darlin, I know," Price sighed. " She'll return immediately after she's finished, I assure you."
You locked your gaze on Price for a split second before heaving a defeated sigh. "Sir, yes."
"Bye, mama," the girl said before hugging you once more then taking Price's hand.  Soap, Gaz, and Ghost walked into the room, Soap waved at the small girl, who stuck her tongue out at him. Gaz laughed loudly, and Ghsot chuckled.
"Hey Ironhide," Gaz replied as he laughed. "How are you feeling?"
"Tired," you chuckled. "She called me as Mom…"
"We were surprised, too," Gaz adds. "When Ghost had to get her off of you, she started crying for you and went out the room to find you. Price had to stay her the entire time."
You laughed at the thought of a group of trained military soldiers being outpaced by a little girl.
"How long did it last?" You inquired.
"Two days," Ghost said. "I'm not sure how long we could keep that girl under wraps for."
"Well, the captain sure handled it well," Soap chuckled. "You three looked like a family, you know."
Your face flushed, and you opened your eyes wide. “JOHNNY!
“What? It's true, isn't it, Gaz?"
Your gaze was drawn to Gaz, who began to nod his head up and down.
“You sons of bitches.” You grumbled.
"Woah, watch your language mama, don't want the young one picking up on your language," Soap giggled as you tried to throw your pillow at him.
"What are you muppets yapping your traps about?"
"Nothing, sir," both Gaz and Soap replied.
"All right, now all of you out," Price replied, stepping aside.
"Feel better, Ironhide," Soap said as Ghost pushed him out. Gaz closed the door behind them.
Price sat down next to your bed and crossed his arms. "You realize what you did was a stupid and risky move, solider."
"And you violated protocol by staying when you were supposed to leave, sir."
"I'm liable for you, it's my job to make sure you all come back in one piece and alive," Price sighed.
You lowered your gaze to the IV in your arm. "Am I in trouble, sir?"
"That depends," Price responded. "You scared the hell out of me, darlin', you showed up about half dead with a child on your back…"
"She wasn't that heavy," you quietly giggled. "I tried to leave her, but she wouldn't let go… I know I shouldn't have become attached, but-"
You felt a hand clutch onto yours, squeezing it tightly as if you were about to go any second. You turned to meet Price's gaze. Your body tingled as he stared at you. "John…" you murmured.
Your breath caught as you scratched your eyes as Price leaned forward and rested his forehead against yours.
He mumbled, "Never do something like that again, do you copy?"
You smiled, "I copy."
With his arms crossed, Price pulled away from you. "All we have to do now is figure out what to do with the girl."

Hi ~✨ its luck that I found you (or you found me, I have seen your repost to my post) and can you, please make one-shot with Kent, where the reader, being an alien, comes to the Academy and everyone is interested in her (I mean in them) (because there were no aliens at the academy before) and attracts the attention of Kent, after which they begin to be friends and fall in love with each other?
Aye I just woke up but just because it's you my friend I'll get to writing :]
And here we are with another Kent oneshot! Woo! Iove this idea! I won't use the stereotypical description of aliens, I'll give them antennas and black eyes tho(the pupils). And heightened sense :]
NEW STUDENT!
.......................................
Tumblr media
GIF by me again:]
.......................................
Pairing: Kent (last name unknown) X!alien!new student reader.
Warnings: swearing maybe, kissing at the end, kinda slow burn? (Might do a part two)
Synopsis: when a student of new species joins Nevermore Academy, it peaks the interest of a certain long haired siren.
┈ ✁✃✁✃✁✃✁✃✁✁✃✁✁✃✁✁✃✁✁┈
You'd be lying if you said you weren't nervous, principle Weems had told you you were the first ever alien in the academy, which didn't really help, now you may be wondering how you are there? Well let's see.
Some thousand years ago, your planet was attacked by another alien species, so your what you thought were called "ancestors" had to leave, and they ended up here. Your species has changed over the years, their funny colored skin Changing into that of beige or dark brown, their fully black eyes now matching the ones of the humans the black only staying in the middle surrounded by white, their antennas however, stayed. They allowed you to catch sounwaves, hear things further than you should be able to, and move things around.
They had made you a special uniform, lined with very dark green instead of the traditional purple, psh, stereotypes again. You had however also learned that, you wouldn't be the only one joining Nevermore late, there was this girl, Wednesday her name was?, Her uniform was black, and so seemed to be the rest of her. You liked it, she was different like you, but in her own way. Weems led you to your dorm room, your roommate was a vampire by the name of Yoko Tanaka.
Weems knocked on the door and it opened almost immediately, "hello, ms. Tanaka, I'd like to introduce you to someone" she moved aside "this is Y/n L/n, the first alien of the academy, and your new roommate" she said taking a breath "would be kind a give them a tour?" Yoko stared at you and her smile widened revealing her fangs, "omg! Of course I will!" She pulled you inside the room closing the door on Weems face.
"So you're an alien?!" She asked eyes wide "yup, that's me" you said "ooo cool! From which planet?" That you didn't know "oh, my species has been on earth for thousands of years, I don't really know." She nodded "okay okay! Let's start the tour!" She said excitedly pulling you along.
Around the end of the tour she pulled you to a small courtyard "this is the quad!" (Did I spell that right? Idk! :Sobbing in greek:) she started pointing to random people introducing them, eh, for them.. "and those are the scales, they're the sirens, that's Bianca their so called leader, that right there is Divina and next to her is her twin brother Kent" you stared at Kent, a little longer than you should've and he saw you, the second he did his eyes widened and he turned to tell his sister. Yoko however, pulled you away.
"don't mind them, they're a little, straight forward some times" she said "it's alright, I'm kind of used to it" you admitted "right... That's basically all you need to know for the school and if you need something just ask me" she smiled and you nodded "alright! Thanks Yoko!" "No problem!" She waved running off to her friends.
'lets see, what could I do?' you thought walking to the side sitting down you rested your back against the wall and closed your eyes. This all was hard to take in, you were scared you might not fit in. Suddenly, you heard footsteps followed by a female voice "hi!" You looked up to see too girls, Wednesday and a girl with blonde hair dyed with pink and blue at the ends. You got up and dusted yourself off "hey!" You replied and she looked at you excitedly "you look so cool! I love your eyes!" You smiled "thanks! Your hair looks nice!" You complimented back. "I'm Enid and this is Wednesday! She's also new here!" You nodded "nice to meet you Enid, and Wednesday!" Wednesday just gave you a nod. You and Enid became friends quickly, and maybe a little with wednesday.. you weren't sure. Even tho Enid was alot more outgoing than you, she was a great friend.
You'd been at Nevermore for a month already, you mainly hang out with Enid, Wednesday and Ajax. Xavier too sometimes. You've been trying to help Wednesday with the whole "monster in the woods" thing but, unlike her you focused on your friendships aswell. Lately you've been noticing a certain siren looking at you, even tho you doubt it's for any good.
Right now you were in your dorm room when you heard a knock "coming!" You yelled getting up to open a door, to your surprise Kent was standing outside "hi?" You asked "hey, look before you close the door in my face, listen!" You nodded "go on" "alright, the thing Is I think you're cool, okay? And I was wondering if you'd want to be friends?" This surprised you even more "you... Want to be friends?" He nodded "I mean, sure" you smiled starting to warm up to him already.
You and Kent started spending more time together, making sure no one knew, considering Bianca didn't like you. It was a three days before the rave'n now, everyone was talking about it. Wednesday wasn't going, and Enid was trying to make Ajax jealous after he stood her up. You had just finished your last class of the day with Ms. Thornhill and were on your way to the quad when someone pulled you behind a pillar "wha-!" You stopped talking when you saw Kent "oh god you scared me" you breathed and he laughed "sorry, I just wanted to ask you something" you nodded signaling for him to ask the question "do you uh, maybe want to go to the rave'n with me?.." you smiled "of course I do!" "Really?!" You nodded "yup!" "Great! I'll pick you up right before it starts sounds good?" "Yeah sounds great".
"okay!" Enid screamed "we have to get you something to wear!!" You gulped "alright...".
It took sometime but you actually liked what Enid found for you (up to you <3) "it's not half bad!" You smiled up at her "thanks! Enid!" She smiled "of course! It looks really good on ya!".
You paced up and down your dorm, Yoko had already left to find her 'date' what Id he doesn't show up??.. just then you heard a knock on the door and ran to open it. "Hi! Sorry if I took too long- wow you look- great!" he apologized "it's okay! Really and thanks, you don't look too bad yourself" "right let's go!" You nodded and left your room closing the door behind you. You walked with Kent to the rave'n, he seemed nervous the whole time. You were dancing around drinking what they called a 'yeti-tini' and overall had fun. You were standing in the crowd talking when something started to pour from the fire sprinklers. Weems started screaming and everyone followed, panicked you grabbed Kent's hand and pulled him out as fast as you could. "Phew" you breathed out, panting, "what the fuck-" he said catching his breath "I don't know..." He nodded and then seemed to realise something.
His head snapped up and he looked at you "are you okay?? Did you get hurt or something-?" You cut him off "I'm fine, are you-?" He nodded "yeah, yeah I'm okay" you nodded back, well this just got akward. Out of nowhere you burst out laughing "what?-" he said chuckling along "what is it?" "We are standing outside covered in red paint like idiots, that's what" he started laughing along yet suddenly got quiet "hey uhm..." You looked up "yeah?" "I don't know if this is the right time but.." he took a step forward looking straight into your eyes "can i- you know.." you understood immediately "yeah... Yeah of course" hearing that he wasted no time to bring you closer and kiss you, you of course kissed back, pulling away he chuckled "I wanted to do that for some time" "you should've"

@everythingwasalreadypicked ‘s idea about Al losing his powers really got my mind juices flowing this morning:
Like Zues wouldn’t even do it personally. Facing off with some messenger of Zues (maybe hermes) in an alleyway bc he's making too much trouble.:
Alabaster Torrington and the Magic Thief:
Alabaster hadn’t expected to be cornered by a messenger of Olympus. Let alone Hermes himself,: Luke and Chris’s dad. THE messenger of Olympus.
Now really isn’t the time. He’s already feeling touchy and the last thing he wants is to be jumped by an enemy in an alleyway. But if it’s a fight he wants it’s a fight he’ll get. Alabaster attacks him with a charged hand, aiming for his chest.
Hermes ducks out of the way.Al Had anticipated this and he quickly turns directing his momentum to where the god went.
Hermes is almost surprised. But his winged feet are still too quick. He dodges the second blow, grabbing Al by the nape of his neck and slamming him into the wall.
Al grunts and struggles against the gods grip but he can’t escape.
“Sorry about this kid” Hermes says.
Al feels Hermes take something but he doesn't see what it is. He can't believe it. Olympians really are a divine mafia and he was getting fucking mugged?!.
Hermes lets go,his face a concerned frown.
Al spins on him with a snarl. He holds up his hand to charge another magic blast to hurl at the god. But nothing happens.
Al looks at his hand which is inexplicably empty. No green light coalescing in his palm, the runes on his shirt stay dormant.
He whips out one his cards gives it a double tap and then chucks it. It impotently floats to the floor, like a paper airplane caught in a wind. He tries another card, and then another and then he gets to the sword, which doesn't come out when he prompts it. Nothing is working.
"What the-" alabaster stutters, panic setting in before logic "what did you do to me?!"
Hermes' face remains a frown. "I'm…really sorry" he says and then flashes away.
The realization creeps up on him slowly, like a winter chill without wind. The world ...looks different. He can't feel its energy...the mist...it's just....gone. He tries not to hyperventilate but then a reminder sparks in his mind. He bolts to his safe house.
The runes that usually thrum with energy are silent and dull. He can't feel or hear them, but that's a passing fear.
He bursts through the door and looks around, breaths heavy and sporadic. He first goes to the study, then the kitchen, the bedroom. Empty.
"No..." Alabaster says, "no it can't..." He goes to the living room and opens the small tin that holds his most valuable possessions. Inside is an index card with the outline of a man. Alabaster places it on the table and taps it twice then looks around.Nothing happens. He does it again and Again. nothing…no one.
He slumps against the couch...he'd never felt so defeated. "No” he chokes back a sob “c-Claymore?" He asks into the still air. No response. He is,once more, painfully...utterly...alone.

He cannot sleep. He wanders around his apartment night after night, swallowing sleeping pill after sleeping pill, but the memories still haunt him.
Your sweet, angelic laugh. The soft slaps of your bare feet on the wood floor, the soft hums of a tune you adore, dead and gone.
His apartment has never felt so lifeless.
Every room he enters holds a memory of you, a memory he holds so dear to his heart he cannot let go. He can see you, see you making brownies, lounging on the sofa.
Your smirk as you seduce him. Fingertips dancing ever so lightly on his soft skin, like tiny pixie feet. Your warmth suffocating him, surrounding his body in a blanket of pleasure. Your moans like music to his ears.
He was addicted to you, in more ways than one. You were the cause of his high sex drive. The second his eyes fall upon you, he's caught under your spell, blood rushing south in an instant.
He doesn't have the energy for it. Sex is meaningless to him if it's not with you. You made him feel alive and now that you're gone, he's nothing but a shell of nothingness.
The picture frames remain on the tables, holding special and precious memories of you both. Now all they hold is a thick layer of dust and dirt. Your belongings are still scattered around the apartment; he hasn't gained the courage to sort through them and box them up.
Time stood still. Felix found himself in an endless cycle, spinning around and around. The world carried on around him but for him, time stood still. His body stuck in an endless loop.
You kept him grounded, advising him and soothing him of his worries. Now they swim around and around in his head, tormenting him, laughing at him until he finds himself screaming into the night.
Only, no one heard his screams, his cries for help.
Alone.
Awake for x amount of hours. swallowing x amount of pills and drinking x amount of cheap vodka, nothing works.
Frustrated. Because nothing works. Nothing seems to soothe him, nothing seems to drown out his thoughts. His own head became his worst enemy.
How foolish of him to think a walk in the cold, winter air would make him feel alive. It just made it worse. Every store he walked past, every corner he turned was a new memory of you.
“Please make it stop.” Teary eyes looking at the night sky, his usual bottle of vodka in one hand, the other clutching the material of his t-shirt where his broken heart aches. “I can't do this without you.”
Silent sobs shake his thin frame. He's cried so much that he has nothing left.
“You promised.” He'd whisper harshly at his phone screen, his wallpaper still of you after all these months. Violent sobs shake his frame, and there it is.
A tear. It lands on his screen, the watery texture mixing the pixels together in a range of colours. His vision blurred, a pounding headache approaching from the pressure.
“I want to feel alive again. Please give me a sign. I'll do anything for a glimpse of hope. Just make this pain stop! it's unbearable.”
“Why is the world so cruel to me?” He leans back, sniffing whilst bringing the rim of the vodka bottle to his lips. He hisses, feeling the burn travel down his throat and settling in his empty stomach.
It burns, but it's a sigh he can still feel. Even if he doesn't want to.
“Now I'm truly all alone in this world.” He whispers, eyes closing slowly. He's tired, exhausted body slowly shutting down. He doesn't fight it.
He allows it.
So consumed with his own thoughts, he doesn't hear the soft crunch of the snow approach him. It wasn't until he smelt that all too familiar scent he opened his eyes slowly, a coat wrapped around his shoulders.
“Y/N?”

Pairing: Ransom Drysdale x fem!Reader
Warnings: None 🥰
Word count: ~1,100
a/n: Happy Halloween 🎃 *places a soft!ransom in all of your treat buckets*
. * ✦ . ◍ ∘ . * ✦ ‧ ∘ ⊹
He barely notices you standing in the doorway of his office at first, keeping quiet for a second in case he's busy.
Letting out a small laugh, he looks up from his screen to give you his full attention, letting you know he noticed. “Hi, pretty girl.”
“Hi,” you smile. “Are you busy?”
“Never too busy for you.” He pretends to give you a scolding look. He's told you that so many times before. “Are you done putting up those decorations you wanted?”
Unpacking your stuff, you came across your Halloween decorations from when you lived alone. You begged Ransom to let you decorate his–your–house. He reluctantly told you yes, knowing he had no good reason to not let you. He just didn't want any part in it.
“Yup,” you answer proudly. You know you've gotten him to crack when he brings a hand up to his face to hide his smile. “I think you're gonna like it.”
He scoffs. “I'm sure.”
“I think I'm missing a few things though.” He looks confused. “Yeah, some pumpkins would tie it together, I think. Maybe… We could go to a pumpkin patch and get some this weekend.”
You unconsciously hold your breath after introducing the idea knowing he could draw the line at going to a pumpkin patch. He already did a lot by allowing you to decorate.
“Why would we go there when we can just go to the store?”
“Well, I don't know.” You shrug, slouching yourself against the doorframe. “That would be the best place to go, I figured.”
“Those places are for kids. We don't have kids.”
“No, yeah.” You’re trying not to show how let down you are, but he can tell a little by how quiet you get. “I just thought it would be kinda fun.”
Watching your eyes focus on anything in the room but him, he tries to backtrack. “I mean, we can if you want.”
“No, you don't want to though,” you shake your head, putting on as much of a smile as you can muster. “It's okay.”
You wish he would push it a little more and insist one last time that you go together, but he doesn't. So you give him one last smile and silently leave him to his work.
. * ✦ . ◍ ∘ . * ✦ ‧ ∘ ⊹
A few days go by and you've been quiet since that evening.
Coming up behind you while you cook dinner, Ransom slips his arms around you, pressing a soft kiss on your shoulder.
“What's got you moping around the last few days?” He laughs a little, but his voice is laced with genuine concern.
When he hears you sniffle, he steps back and gently turns you toward him.
Locking eyes with him, you can't keep it in anymore. You break down, falling into his arms.
Whatever it is, he didn't expect you to start crying over it. He doesn't ask again though, just holds you and rubs your back until you're ready to talk.
When your tears subside, you let out a deep breath. “I miss my family.”
“Oh…” He can't help his sudden reaction. Not being able to relate, he never would have guessed that's what was affecting you this much. “I know you do. I'm sorry.”
You have to let out a few residual sobs before you can talk to him again.
“The other day when I asked you if we could go to a pumpkin patch–” You hiccup, trying to put together an explanation. “I've gone with them every year since I can remember, but I have no one to go with now that I moved away from everyone.”
“Oh, God…” It all makes sense now, and he feels like a jackass for not getting it sooner. “I'm sorry– We can go. I'll take you.”
“No.” You're quick to assure him he doesn't need to, finally lifting your head off his chest to wipe away your lingering tears. “It’s okay. I don't wanna go just because you feel sorry for me. I'm over it, it's fine. I promise.”
He stays silent, holding you in one arm still as he lifts a hand to your face to help wipe away some smudged makeup. Not wanting to push you, he lets it all go for now.
. * ✦ . ◍ ∘ . * ✦ ‧ ∘ ⊹
Saturday rolls around quickly after the emotional week you had. Your plans don't involve much more than your bed and the heated blanket on top of you.
That's why you groan, immediately waking up when you feel your blanket being pulled off of you.
Feeling for it to pull it back up, your hand meets Ransom’s instead. “What are you doing?”
“We’re going to the pumpkin patch,” he whispers, leaning to give you a quick kiss on your forehead. “Gotta get up.”
“No– Ransom.” You yawn and turn over to press your face into your pillow. “I told you we don't have to.”
“But we're going to.” He wonders if you've already fallen back asleep when you don't respond. His hand rests on your back, rubbing softly to keep you awake. “Please, I really wanna go with you.”
Peeking an eye open, you look up at him, searching his face for any sign he's fucking with you.
“Really?”
“Of course,” he promises. “Come on.”
. * ✦ . ◍ ∘ . * ✦ ‧ ∘ ⊹
Once you get there, you have to suppress a laugh as you watch him look around. A subtle look of disgust occupies his face while he takes in the sight and sounds of children running around and screaming.
“So… what do we do here without kids?”
“Everything they're doing,” you shrug, taking his hand to pull him toward the corn maze you saw in the distance. “Follow me.”
After you've dragged him along to every activity, made him buy you apple cider, and forced him to help you pick out a few pumpkins, he gladly agrees to a hayride, seeing it as an excuse to finally sit, if nothing else.
Tired after all afternoon too, you rest your head on his shoulder. “Thank you for bringing me here.”
“Of course,” he murmurs, turning to leave a kiss on the top of your head. “I'm sorry for not realizing how important this is to you.”
“It’s okay. You had no way of knowing.” Closing your eyes, you let the sound of the gravel crunching underneath the tractor’s wheels and the weight of the pumpkin in your lap nearly lull you to sleep right there. “I love you.”

Is it that time again? Yes it is. Here's another drabble I wrote. Lemme know if you want a part 2 :p
Pairing: ChanxReader
Tumblr media
Title: Miroh Club
"What are you saying?"
"I'm saying that we should," he takes a deep breath before looking in my eyes, "break up."
I blink at my boyfriend, Ben. "Where is this coming from?"
"Y/N, I can't keep doing this anymore."
"Do what exactly?"
"This!" He gestures between us two. "I can't keep on pretending that there is anything between us anymore. It's getting too tiring. I can't deal with you and your friends anymore."
So this was about him. This was always about him, my best friend since we were in diapers. Chan was the one person I won't let go, regardless of who I dated. "Okay."
Ben links in surprise. "Okay?"
"Yeah." I start to gather my things to put in my bag.
"So that's it?"
I look at him, zipping my bag. "Yup." I sling the bag over my shoulder.
"You're not even going to fight for us?"
I laugh. "You're funny, Ben. The minute my friends or anyone I care for came between us, it was always you that wanted me to leave them. It was always YOU." I point to him and walk to his apartment door. "I can't believe I wasted a year on you."
As the door closes, I half expected him to come running after me but that moment never came. I shoot a quick text to Chan.
Y/n: Where are you?
C: just finished gym so heading home, whats up?
Y/n: Can i come over?
C: yeah. Everything okay?
I don't even bother replying to him. I quickly reach my car, start the ignition and drive. I don't know why I was a crying mess by the time I parked in his driveway. And as I stood in front of the door, I rang the doorbell. But it wasn't who I was expecting to be standing behind it.
"Oh, hey!" Han, one of the roomates and very close friend of Chan. "I was just leaving to spend the weekend at Luna's."
Oh did I mention he's also dating my other best friend/roommate?
"Hannie, you know she loves coffee right?"
"Yeah?" He blinks at me, confused.
"And you know she loves sweet treats, right?"
"Are you saying I should stop by a bakery on the way?" He asks.
"That would be a wise choice," I give him a small smile as he grabs his keys and sprints to his car. I hear the engine revving as I see Chan walking towards me.
"Did Han leave?"
"Yeah."
He then looks at me, his eyes softening. "Babygirl, come here." He holds out his arms, and fresh tears fall down my cheeks as I wrap my arms around his back, sobbing into his chest. "It's okay. Let it out."
"I don't even know why I'm crying."
"Your feelings are valid," he gently pats my back. "Tell me all about it."
So I do. I tell him how Ben broke up with me for having friends that are boys. And how he was jealous of Chan. "Me?" Chan asks, munching on potato chips as we sat in the living room watching Harry Potter.
"Yeah," I scoff, reaching for a can of soda. "It's not like I'm not the only woman in the world to have so many guy friends. He didn't like how I always shared everything with you. I can't help it that we've been friends since we were in diapers."
"Where do you even find this dude?"
"Ugh," I groan. "I deleted tinder. No more dating apps."
He laughs. "Hey, in all fairness, it's his loss."
"Meh, he wasn't really my type anyway," I stated.
"And yet you dated him for 1 whole year." He laughs when I playfully hit his arm. "Hey, would you wanna hang out with the boys and I tonight? We're going to Miroh club."
I gasp. "How on earth did you manage to get in? It's impossible to even get in line."
He chuckles, as Harry finally spits out the golden snitch on the screen. "I have my ways."
----------------------------------------------------------
"Holy shit," I stare in awe as Chan and I walk inside Miroh club. It's already getting filled with people, and with the music echoing inside, there's a reason why this club is so popular. A lot of famous artists are known to visit it but tonight it's just the boys, who I see from afar and wave at Luna, who's currently sitting on Han's lap. That woman is whipped and Han is no better. But I'm happy for them.
"I'll grab you a drink and meet you there," Chan states and disappears in the crowd as I walk over to the VIP lounge. Jesus, how did Chan do this? "Hey," I say to Luna and the boys.
"Hey, you," Luna says, hopping off of Han's lap and sitting beside me. "I heard about you and Ben."
I wave my hand. "He's not important."
"Well, how about him?" She asks, gesturing towards Chan.
I whip my head towards him, chatting with someone. "Girl, be for real. He's my best friend."
"So? He's had a thing for you all these years."
"Wait, what?" I snap my head at her.
"Oh," she laughs, covering her mouth. "You didn't know? Why do you think he took his morning classes and studied his ass off so he could hang out with you at night? Why do you think you're the only one that knows the password to his laptop? And why do you think that girl is about to give him his number?"
I snap my back towards him again. The girl that Luna was talking was currently leaning against the bar, touching his arm. Sudden fury and rage flowed through my veins and I didn't know why. "And by the looks of it, I'd say you're jealous."
"I'm not jealous."
"Mmhmm, sure you're not." She elbows me. "Tell me, are you thinking about punching that girl?"
"No." Lie.
"Okay. Are you thinking about what if he takes her number and they start dating, he wouldn't have time for you like he does now?"
"No." More lies.
"Are you thinking of stomping your way there and.....kissing him?"
"What? No!" But every fibre of my being, I wanted to walk over to him and drag him out the bar and.....
"Girl, stop denying your feelings and go get him before it's too late."
I wasn't going to lie to myself. I did have a tiny crush in high school but it soon died when we became college students. Then once we graduated and landed pretty nice jobs, I made myself busy running my bakery with Luna. "Oh, there they go on the dance floor."
I blink back to reality and watch as Chan and girl he was talking to make their way to the dance floor. The girl immediately starts dancing really close to him, seductively as he reciprocates the moves. Closing my eyes, I try to control the jealousy I was feeling but open them again to see her grinding her hips against him.
Marching my way to them, my heels clicking against the floor. My mission was to rip her hands off him. "Get your hands off him." The music was too loud for them to even acknowledge me.
Okay. This is how she wants to play? Fine. I can play that game too. I grab her arm and pry it off him. She staggers back, looking at me. "What the fuck?!"
"Back off," I yell and I grab his hand, making our way through the crowd towards the exit. I caught a glimpse of Luna swaying her hips against Han. Okay that's an image I won't be able to forget for a long time.
Once outside, the cool crisp night air feels refreshing as he yanks his arm back when we're about half a block away. "Y/N, what the fuck?"
"Did you really have to pick her?"
"Y/N, she came on to me!"
I scoff. "Didn't look like it from where I was standing."
He blinks before laughing. "By any chance," he takes a step closer to me, "are you jealous?"
My cheeks heat and scoff. "In your dreams, pal."
He laughs as he takes another step forward till we're face to face. "It's okay to be jealous sometimes."
"I told you," I snarled through my teeth as I glanced up at him. "I'm not jealous."
Then he cups my cheeks and leans in, glancing up to my eyes. "Not even now?" He whispers.
From being this close to him, I could smell his vanilla scent, going up my nostrils and igniting a fire within me. "No."
He then leans much closer till our lips are almost touching. "Now?"
My body acts faster than my mind. "Shut up and kiss me." I wrap my arms around his neck, bring him down on my lips as his arms slide around my waist. Fuck me, he even tastes divine. Why I never told him about my feelings back then is beyond me. He turns my whole body and backs me up till my back hits a brick wall. He moans into the kiss, his hands cupping my ass cheeks and giving them a tight squeeze.
"Fuck, Y/N. What took you so long?" He breathes against my mouth.
I giggle, threading my hand through his black hair. "Is it wrong to say that I want to ditch the party and have a party of our own at your place?"
He growls at my request and attacks my jaw and neck with butterflies kisses. "Chan, please. There are people around."
"I don't give a fuck."
I gasp at his choice of words coming out of his mouth. "Then," I groan as he sucked and licked at a certain spot on my neck, which would turn into purple soon. "Take me home. Because I want you, Chan."
He slowly back up, his lips swollen and his eyes filled with lust. "Fuck. We're going home."
"Which one?"
"Mine," he growls the word as his brown eyes stared into mine, the heat travelling between my legs. "Because when you scream my name, it's going to be on my bed."
