I love trans people whose transness means that their sexuality is complex. I love trans people who adopt contradictory labels. I love transmasculine people who still have ties to old lesbian spaces and transfeminine people who still have ties to gay spaces (even if they themselves aren't lesbian or gay). I love trans people whose dysphoria has put them at a place where they don't want to engage with any type of sexuality. I love trans people who are confused, unsure, or questioning. I love trans people who toe the lines of queerness. I love trans people who are unapologetically embracing their sexualities. I love trans people who are working through internalized shame about their sexualities.

Hey everyone,
'The New ThoughtCrime' is an anti-trans community detransitioner essay
Just wanted to give a heads up to the FTM community on here that a user named @mewthoughtcrime is trying to repost the 'New ThoughtCrime' think piece from 2017 - tagging it with this such as 'trans man', 'nonbinary' and 'transandrophobia'.
However this blog fails to mention that the main author of said piece is a lesbian who considers herself a detransitioner. While there is nothing at all wrong with that -
the problem more comes from the fact that said author also believes the trans community is a cult.
This quote comes from the author's interview with Genspec - an organization that pretends to be trans supportive, while also believing trans kids are a myth, trans men are just confused teen girls, and pushing the book Irreversible Damage.
The author also believe in the idea of 'cotton-cieling' - a terf dog whistle that implies trans women intend to force lesbians to sleep with 'males who identify as lesbians'.
The think piece is NOT at all about trans men or transandrophobia.
It's about detransitioning from a woman who believes the trans community engages in 'thought reform' - in a way akin to cults.
The piece reads largely inspired by 'Irreversible Damage' - an anti-FTM shred-piece. This is basically J.K Rowling ideology.
They're in their right to repost whatever they want, especially if that piece of writing specifically spoke to them and other detransitioning folk.
However I do think it's incredibly disingenuous and sneaky to not include this information - or the true nature and intention of the work - in the Tumblr post, as the original author was very clear in stating so.
To post such a piece without tagging the detrans community is a disservice to them and a deliberate choice towards us.
The piece is not at all about transandrophobia - the OP is simply mistagging it to target particular groups - mainly, actively transitioning FTM who are looking for community.
This isn't to say you can't read and enjoy the piece, or connect to it. You absolutely can, it's about someones valid personal experience (well - some parts.) that's eloquently written.
What I do not support however is posting such material, purposely and vaguely mistagging it, while not explaining the contents, the context, and the intent of the author clearly.
I believe readers should always be informed about the source and intention of the writers of the information they received.
People should be allowed to make informed choices about what they read and involve themselves in - whether that be trans politics, or reading think pieces online.
That's why I am making this post.
'The New ThoughtCrime' is an Anti-Trans Community think-piece that targets trans men and lesbians by supporting TERF ideology.
Read with that information in mind. With the situation going on now with staff, I think it's important to be on high alert for indoctrination or misleading literature like this.
By all means, read if you like. I was just not at all impressed with the lack of transparency from @mewthoughtcrime when it comes to detailing the actual contents and source of that information.
It's one thing to call the trans community a cult - before turning around and releasing anonymous faceless think-pieces that you spread around without sources or actively informing others of its contents, in order to purposely get a demographic of people who do not wish to interact with you to unwillingly engage in your rhetoric.
As a essay that calls for 'transparency in the trans community' we can first start by lending some transparency to THIS essay.
Stay safe and stay informed y'all ✌🏾

a list of motogpblr creators
Hello, I initially wanted to do this to celebrate some kind of milestone of mine but I have none of them in sight and I got the inspiration for this earlier this afternoon, so, here we are.
My memory is not the best and I tried to research stuff through my blog but I already know that I have forgotten people and I obviously don't know about everyone here, no matter how small motogpblr may seems to be, so, my apologies.
Just a quick thank you to everyone who uses some of their time to create for the fandom and also a thank you to people taking the time to interact (with likes, reblogs, comments) with the content created, it's always appreciated.

btw. Do we all remember two weeks ago when Joe Biden straight up said "We can't really trust the number of victims being reported from Gaza :(" as if that justifies war crimes. And we let him.
Do we all remember a month ago when IDF sources on twitter claimed the strike on the al-Ahli hospital, then immediately deleted, then posted a video showing wrongly timestamped footage that was also deleted, and we all had to pretend for a week that it was a misfired Hamas rocket because the IDF says so and the US says so, and the IDF would never ever ever strike a hospital.
And then we all collectively stopped talking about it because the IDF did, in fact, strike several hospitals. Laid sieges to hospitals. Attacked and cut fuel to hospitals. And UN facilities. And refugee camps. And ambulances. And journalists. And are currently shelling the only working medical facility left in Gaza.
Anyway! Bet that a decade from now we'll have so much fun unpacking all of this and talking about the media narrative like today we talk about post 9/11 propaganda, and the absolute willful silence of so many major political actors like we talked about the Srebrenica massacre in the 2000s. I hate it that we don't learn shit.

I love giving advice, apparently, so if you are a newly pierced person or are planning on being pierced, here are some of the things I found helpful, as somebody who isn't a professional piercer but has had six plus piercings on my face and body, and multiple ear piercings (which I don't count, since I DIY'd them):
Normal bath towels are your enemy, proceed with caution after bathing. NEVER wipe moisture away from a fresh piercing, always pat it dry
You will hit a new piercing and it will hurt. This is inevitable, just know that you likely haven't destroyed it. Feel free to cry, though, it hurts like hell.
If your piercer gives you instructions, heed them. If you're on restrictions, please take it as seriously as possible
When you're going in for a piercing, please eat or drink something - at least what constitutes as a snack for your body. It really helps
If you're getting an oral piercing, make sure you size down after the healing period - I hadn't sized down for my last oral piercing when I first had the chance, and it was... so annoying to have too-large of jewelry
Not all jewelry is made equally. Do your research on materials, threading, and sizing. I've found that titanium jewelry is really nice for me, and I like it, but that isn't the only option. Make sure you think about your body and its needs and preferences
Close your eyes while being pierced (I found this really helps me)
Don't over-clean a new piercing, twice per day is usually a good place to start
The completed healing period is a very average suggestion - you may heal slower or faster. Try to adhere to that suggestion, though, especially if you do not feel you're healed enough
Personally, I have found that I am completely healed when my piercing feels like just another part of my body, even when it is touched. When my piercings start to feel as though they are foreign when they never do before, I know I likely need to clean them
While I have DIY'd piercings, I personally do not recommend it, especially if you are either not using sterilized equipment, or are piercing a very dangerous place (like the tongue). If you are absolutely positive about committing to the DIY mindset, please try to do due diligence in research at least
Tip your piercer. Body mods are a luxury service, and it takes years to even become a piercer, much less to be proficient at it. Tip your piercer, ESPECIALLY if their prices feel too good to be true - they likely are. Unless you are directed otherwise by your piercer, just assume that you will be tipping them for their services and budget accordingly
Make sure you understand how your piercer wants you to take care of your piercing, and ask questions. There is no question too "dumb"
If you are getting a body part pierced you are insecure about, realize your piercer has most likely seen HUNDREDS of different body parts of various sizes, shapes, and oddities. Your body is not uniquely bad, nor would a good piercer make you feel unwelcome or uncomfortable with your body. If they do, however, DO NOT go through with the piercing. You should feel safe being pierced by somebody, and, indeed, that is the bare minimum.
If you use saline wash to clean piercings, you can DIY it. You will go through NeilMed like no other, and with it being $5USD a bottle, that price can rack up quickly. Make sure you use distilled water and non-iodized salt, though
If your piercing is infected, please don't be too ashamed to seek help. It's in your best interest to make sure you don't get ill or your site gets nasty ("nasty" as in painful)
These are just some of the things I've learned being a pierced person! My piercings are something I absolutely needed, and I do not for a minute regret having them. I want that same happiness to befall you, and that happens when you are able to understand a bit more what goes into piercings. You are, essentially, getting a new body part installed by a pro, and so I don't want you to not be ready for that.
Again, I am not a professional piercer, but am rather a body piercing enthusiast with many different types of piercings. I don't have every piercing, though, so please look at this critically for the piercing(s) that you want or have. At least, treat this like a soft suggestion or ways to help you brainstorm what you will find helpful.
More tips are obviously welcomed, especially if you yourself have more insight or expertise. Good luck to every pierced person or future pierced person reading this💛

Hey Bro, what's it like seeing Dee as a wholeass grown adult who does taxes and shit?
BRO: It is so fuckin' weird. The guy is older than me, Jesus-
BRO: I try not to think about it too much or it'll drive me insane . . but . . .
BRO: Honestly? Dunno how I feel. Seein' what my kid could have ended up like if he had gotten to grow up halfway decently.
BRO: It's nice to see where his creativity could have taken him if it weren't for me and the game. It also . . feels not too good. How no matter what, he's screwed over. Even if at least this time he got to grow up.
BRO: Anyways, puttin' an end to that train of thought. All in all? It's just plain fuckin' weird. The asshole treats me like a goddamn kid.

There has been a massive argument about aoikane on Twitter since this morning ,people are calling Akane a domestic abuser ...
I'll be honest with you, Anon, my reaction to that was "Of course they are, the dumb fucks" cause I have no respect for twtbhk. Zero. Negative even.
I don't need to tell you why Akane isn't a domestic abuser (I hope i don't have to. Please, I want to believe tumblr have basic reading comprehension) but I'll use this ask to vent about Twitter.
Most of twtbhk don't care about the manga, they don't even have their own opinion. I am not joking. It's like a cult of ungrateful kids that use 'jokes lol' to hate on everything they disagree with, being so immersed in their own headcanons that they don't even know what they are talking about anymore
They don't care about Akane as a character, at all, if he is a domestic abuser or not in canon doesn't matter, they won't check, they won't change their opinion, they won't go "oh this character action doesn't fit my perception of them, let me see if I missed something" they'll just claim the character was "written wrong" or "acted ooc in that scene" because they want a character to just be an accessory to a ship or to be an easy target to hate. They'll forever ignore the manga for a version that they created that is the "correct version of the manga" and they'll keep mischaracterizing Akane, or Aoi, or any character they like/dislike to fit their cute troupes or easy to hate 'version.'
They'll basically create OCs and act like is the truth, aoikane doesn't exist on twitter, it never did, I have seen people say "Chapter 69 doesn't exist cause I personally hate that chapter" unironically. So yeah... They don't care about aoikane, the ship they are talking about, where Akane is a domestic abuser? It's just something they made up.
Picture this:
They are openly disrespectful towards Aidairo (I no longer check the comments on their wonderful art) when they created the manga they claim to love, so of course they have no respect for other fans and won't try to hear them, of course being kind to a stranger is something that doesn't cross their mind, they want to argue or 'joke' about it instead.
At this point, if I visit twtbhk expecting anything insightful, that's on me, shame on me. I should have known better.
So my advice to you is to not go there, and if you're addicted to the site and can't escape, just block people without restrain. I promise you're not missing anything, they aren't even reading the manga you like.
