#young and evil going back to jail

Text
picture this: you're a busy working mom whose husband died on the job under mysterious circumstances, leaving you alone to raise your young son in a town with none of your family or support network, at a job that will never pay enough, no matter how much good work you do. your son at once idolizes his father and resents him for leaving, and has channeled all of his energy into solving mysteries without regard for his health or well-being.
you watch him get bullied, watch him get into fights constantly as he searches for his missing babysitter and the other missing girls in town. he wears a nickname given to him by a bully with pride and tries so hard to impress his friends. you see him build up a group of friends, only for them to go to jail. after your apartment is attacked, you go with him to prom to take down his evil vice principal, who killed your husband on an impulse. you devour the dragon who killed your husband and it tastes like hollow victory, like revenge for the man you can't bring back.
the next year, your son goes on spring break with his friends after he gets accosted by an entity that used to work with your husband and some kind of mirror entity that leaves shards in your apartment. you don't hear much from him on the trip until you see a pit fiend choke him out and kill him, on a livestream. your son gives up his worldly possessions for the sake of defeating an entity that was raised for the sake of the status of an elven family.
your son comes back from spring break with the name of an eldritch entity tattooed on his chest and tells you his father died because the being he used to work with put a target on his back. your son met his dead father in heaven after he went to hell as a litigator for his friend. your son has been threatened with death for existing and come back.
that summer, the eldritch entity is summoned out of your son's body, and he spends the entire summer tracking down a cult and sealing the entity once more. you've left your (thankless) job to become a public defender for people like you, getting nothing for years of work, of doing your duty to bring home a little more for your son, and they won't give you your pension.
your son works himself to the bone for his friends, knowing he can't go to a good school unless he somehow ensures they all succeed. he does everything: perfect grades, every extracurricular, running the student government campaign for his friend, and he's still tracking down another missing girl. he gets dominate monster cast on him by the principal despite doing nothing wrong.
you chat with him in the car, driving to school, and he can't afford a moment of rest. people have been killed following the leads he's tracking, he warns you of the danger of following up and yet he still aims to find the clues.
and you wonder, is this all i've shown him? stretching yourself thin, never more than a moment's rest, and yet others don't appreciate it? after spending your lives in this town, and you're still goblins, still punished for the crime of existence, having to work twice as hard for half the credit.
they call him "the ball".
every day sklonda gukgak wakes up.

Can you please write a zuko x reader hurt/comfort fic please? I’m not sure what prompts you have for it. But take as much time as you need and feel much better soon.
Pairing: Zuko x Reader Rating || Genres || Warnings: T. Romance. Hurt/Comfort. A/N: Ok but this broke my heart a little but it turned out so sweet in the end!
Tumblr media
It never got any easier.
Every time you went to see your father it would end in disaster. He refused to speak with you, or even acknowledge your existence. That you were standing there and speaking to him.
Nothing.
No reaction.
And it broke your heart a hundred times over.
It happened every single week. And you knew there would come a time when you would simply stop coming to him. There was so much going on in your life that you couldn't possibly keep coming to see him.
Your father. The war prisoner. One of the top generals when it came to cruelty against everyone who was not Fire Nation.
The man who had been condemned to jail for the rest of his life.
By the Avatar no less. And yet you could not bring yourself to feel anything other then acceptance of the fate that had befallen your father. He was cruel, through and through. His crimes against humanity were too long to list, and there was no power in the world that could free him from his prison.
And you were glad of it.
Which made you feel guilty.
                                           ————————–
Sighing deeply you entered the Fire Nation Palace from a hidden door and leaned against it, heaving a small sigh as you did.
Yet another unsuccessful visit. You had visited him, spoken to him. Though when you had mentioned the new Fire Lord, your father had made a response.
And that was to spit on the floor.
Your heart clenched in your chest and you slid down the wooden door, burying your face in your hands. It was hopeless. Aang had said so from the beginning. Had told you that your father's soul was too corrupted by his own cruelty and evil that there was no coming back from it.
Probably the reason that compelled him to remove your father's firebending abilities.
Still you had tried. Tried to talk to him, make him see the evil he and the rest of the Fire Nation had been doing. But all your words fell on deaf ears, and you were beginning to give up. Perhaps you should give up. Perhaps you should refocus your attention towards more meaningful projects.
Such as helping the new Fire Lord rebuild the Fire Nation. A daunting task for one so young such as yourself and the Fire Lord. And yet, one you were willing to tackles and would see to succession.
Surely it was much easier to achieve world peace then to connect with your father once more.
All of a sudden you felt someone rest a hand on your shoulder. Startled you looked up, only to catch sight of a familiar figure standing there.
"Hello Zuko." You spoke lowly in greeting, tilting your head back so you could look at him properly. It was still strange to see Zuko back in the Fire Nation Palace. After having been gone for so long.
You had barely seen him over the years, since his father had banished him. There was the odd run-in when he would dock where your father would be stationed, and you would take the time to speak with your friend.
Of course that was all a ruse to hide your true purpose.
A source of information to General Iroh, esteemed member of the White Lotus. Your mother had been a member, one of the few females to hold the title. And while you had never been closer to your father, your mother was a different story.
When she had died of a sudden illness, you had vowed to keep carrying out her mission and provide information to the White Lotus. You hoped your news had helped save lives.
It was the least you could do considering how the other people of your nation treated everyone so cruelly.
Once the war had ended, General Iroh had advised Zuko to appoint you as a member of his Council. You had agreed to his offer, saying you wanted to help him rebuild the world. And during those first few months, your long-lost friendship with Zuko had ignited once more.
In front of the rest of the Council, the Elders, and anyone of prominence, you were Fire Lord Zuko and Chief Advisor Y/n. But once duties were done for the day, you were simply Y/n, and he was Zuko. You had worried that things would be different between the both of you now that Zuko was Fire Lord, however, it seemed he was still the same old Zuko, the one you had played with in the palace gardens as a child.
"Did you go to see your father again?" He asked, sitting down next to you. You sighed and gave a nod. Reaching up you ran a hand through your unruly hair. You had unpinned it before going to see your father. Less chance of people recognizing you when you had your hair down.
"And still no progress." You responded to which he nodded in understanding. "I'm having the same trouble as you are. Father won't give up Mom's location." The despair in his voice caused you to forget about your own pain momentarily. It would still be there to be wallowed in after you figured out a solution to Zuko's problem.
"Need me to go in there and extract the information from him?" You held out your palm to allow a small fire to erupt between your fingers and allowing it to flicker there. "Fire is an excellent form of torture."
He knew you were only joking, which was why he only shook his head at you before reaching out to engulf his hand with yours, putting the flame out. "I think he will tell me eventually. But for now, let him stay where he is."
You hummed in agreement. "Let them both stay where they are. I mean we're both amazing children to even want to speak to them after what they did to us." While Zuko had suffered physically at the hands of his father, you had been subjected to mental and emotional torture while living with your father. The man had never once said a kind word to you. And you would've been happy never visiting him again, but Iroh had been the one to urge you to speak with your father.
To try and make amends.
"Do you think our father's were born bad or that it was because of circumstances that they turned out the way they did?" You asked, allowing your body to relax against his as you leaned your head on Zuko's shoulder.
Thank goodness the both of your had removed the uncomfortable armor for the day.
"I believe they were both given a choice, and they picked the wrong one." He shrugged. "Or perhaps they thought they picked the right choice because it would benefit them. But then again, it does make them selfish doesn't it?"
You heaved a deep sigh and nodded. "Well I suppose it is a good thing the both of us have each other to get through this." Perhaps trying to look on the opposite spectrum would give you the little pick me up that you needed. His hand, which was still holding yours, squeezed your fingers a little, as he hummed in agreement.
After a few moments of sitting in silence, Zuko finally spoke. "I'm glad I have you by my side Y/n. Its made things easier for me here." Being back here still felt strange. He had spent so many years traveling that being inside the palace was a little unnerving to him. But somehow, your presence seemed to make things easier for him. And not just the Council. You were always listening and observing even if Zuko wasn't, and you would always fill him in if he missed something.
And as for you? You were just happy you had your best friend back.
Though Iroh had suggested that the both of you take a step further when it came to your friendship.
Crazy old man.
"You know I sent my own sources out. To try and fine your mother." You admitted to which he gave you a surprised look. You smiled at him. "What? Did you think I wouldn't look for Lady Ursa once I heard she was alive? I recall being her favorite at times when you did something she did not approve of."
It had been a soft of playful rivalry between the two of you, to see who would be pronounced as the favorite of the day. Lady Ursa had become something of a surrogate mother to you during the years of your mother's sickness. Sometimes you missed her just as much as you missed your own mother.
Zuko's answering smile was soft and adoring as he leaned his forehead against yours. "Thank you Y/n." You smiled, leaning into his embrace, enjoying the way his hand fit into yours, and how the very scent of him had you calming down.
"Thats what friends are for." He pulled back only to raise an eyebrow at your words and the teasing glint in your eyes.
"You do remember our status has changed since the marriage was arranged?" He asked, prompting you to shrug.
"So? Doesn't mean our friendship has to be effected. You're still that annoying boy I met when I first came here." You reached up to playfully muss his already disheveled hair. He playfully batted your hand away, grabbing your wrists to stop you, he pinned you with a look.
"But it does mean I can do this." A quick peck on the lips, followed by one of each cheeks, which had you feeling a little flustered. "An added bonus to our already established relationship." You declared, grinning at him, all your previous worries forgotten.

Mephistopheles and Margaretta is a 19th-century wooden "double sculpture". The obverse depicts the demon Mephistopheles, and the reverse depicts a woman, Margaretta. A mirror placed behind the sculpture allows both sides to be seen simultaneously.
Tumblr media
Anton Kaulbach: "Faust and Mephisto"
The 19th-century sculpture was created by an unknown French sculptor, carved into a block of sycamore wood. The obverse is a depiction of a confident and arrogant Mephistopheles, wearing a hood and boots, and with a smirk on his long face. The reverse is of Gretchen with her head bowed, appearing as a simple girl with downcast eyes. The statue is carved from one single block of wood and is exhibited with a mirror placed behind it, allowing viewers to observe both sides at the same time. The dichotomy of good and evil is emphasized by the innocence of the female figure, a demure woman holding a prayer book in her hand, contrasting with the depiction of evil exemplified by Mephistopheles.
The statue reflects the themes of good and evil in Goethe's Faust. In the play, Mephistopheles makes a bet with God: he says that he can go down to earth and meet Faust and make him do bad things.

Illustration from: "Faust, Tragédie" by Goethe, translated into French by Albert Stapfer, and illustrated by Eugene Delacroix. Paris, Ch. Motte & Sautelet, 1828 first edition iv, 148 pp.
Faust is frustrated with his life and for a moment he thinks of killing himself, but then hears people celebrating Easter and decides to go for a walk. A poodle who has no home follows Faust back to his house. In Faust’s study, the poodle changes into the devil (Mephistopheles). Faust makes an arrangement with the devil: the devil will do everything that Faust wants while he is here on earth, In exchange Faust will serve the devil in hell. He agrees, making a deal with the Devil, and as one of his requests for magic, Mephistopheles seduces a young woman named Gretchen (Margaretta) for Faust. She is impregnated by Faust, who kills her mother and her brother, gives birth to his bastard son. Gretchen realizes the evil in the situation and drowns the child, and is held in jail on the charge of murder. Gretchen is hanged but is allowed to go to heaven; Faust is also saved by God because of Gretchen's pleadings.

Inspiration Saturday + Seven Sentences Sunday 🫢

I made this moodboard like two weeks ago when the idea came to me but I was a little hesitant to post it because I don’t even have a plot for this story. Anyway, here it is and it’s bound to be a long one lol!
Priest/Mafia Boss AU
(or alternatively Good Vs. Evil AU)
Tumblr media
Eddie is a man with a questionable past and after spending a few years in prison, he decided that he wants a different life for himself and to help others like him. So he become a priest and joins a church that it is known for its role in helping young people who’s going down the wrong path to become better people and not end up in jail. But Eddie’s past still haunts him.
Buck is the son of a notorious mob boss who was convicted of killing a police officer and sentenced to death. Destined for a life of crime, Buck rises against the expectations and become an enigmatic figure in the underworld. But one day something in him shifts.
As their paths intertwine, the echoes of a dark past and the allure of a dangerous present collide, unraveling a trail of transformation, unlikely connections, concealed identities and the enduring struggle for a life beyond the sins of yesterday
And a snippet from their first meeting beneath the cut!
In the quiet solitude of St. Michael's Church, Father Eddie Diaz stood before the flickering candles, their warm glow casting dancing shadows across the sacred space. As he carefully lit each candle, the subtle scent of burning wax filled the air. It was the only thing that seemed to be able to calm him down and hold the demons at bay.
The entrance creaked open, a sound almost drowned by the soft hymns echoing through the nave. Eddie, focused on the candles, felt a presence enter. Without turning, he sensed the weight of a gaze upon him.
“Welcome. What brings you here tonight?” He questioned. Unbeknownst to him, the lingering shadow behind him belonged to Evan Buckley, a man carrying the weight of a blood-stained linage. A man who had made a name for himself for being even more ruthless and powerful than his father.
Evan, standing in the shadows near the entrance, hesitated. He didn’t even know why he was here. The priest was seemingly unbothered by him, continuing his task without shifting his focus.
Feeling the tension rise, Eddie spoke once again. “The flicker of a flame can illuminate even the darkest corners on your soul. Speak and the light will guide you”
As the candles continued to cast their warm glow, Eddie sensed the weight of the man’s presence still lingering in the shadows. Without turning, he spoke with a calm authority.
“This house of worship welcomes all seeking solace, but it cannot harbor weapons. Leave your burdens at the door, return without the weight you carry, and find the peace you seek”
Evan, surprised by the priest's perceptiveness, questioned with a mix of curiosity and skepticism.
“How do you know what I carry, Father? You haven't even looked at me” He spoke, his hand subconsciously moving towards the gun pressing against his side. Still with his back towards the man, Eddie stood his ground and stared into the flames. He didn’t need to turn around to get a clear picture of the man standing behind him. And it unsettled him.

Izuku wasn’t supposed to be here yet. It was April. He was supposed to be born in July.
A Brother's Unwilling Keeper 1.7k complete
All for One had everything he could ever ask for: hero society crumbled in his iron grip over Japan and his brother's quirk within his hoard. But nobody ever told him that with One for All would come the remnants of Yoichi.
Showing Your Hand 4k complete
“Quirks“--he says considerately--“often show their hand before they can fully develop. Maybe it’s a water-type being obsessed with the ocean, or a technopath having a fascination with technology from a young age. In any case, sometimes these signs appear. And I believe this happened with you.”

The egg exploded.

All for One is more than happy to get Garaki new test subjects, that is, until he hears who Garaki wants as a test subject.

All For One outs Izuku as his son. The Hero Commission, thinking it’s better safe than sorry, decides to arrest him. Luckily, even though Izuku has given up on himself, Class 1-A hasn’t given up on him yet.
Taking Up the Mantle 2k complete
From that day onward, Izuku was trained. Groomed to be the next Symbol of Evil, a shadow successor behind Tomura Shigaraki. But neither of them were prepared for just how early they would have to take up their mantles.
Ill-Gotten Gains 225k ongoing
When his father and Tomura start planning the USJ attack, Izuku makes a plan of his own. It’s simple, only four steps: 1. Steal Eraserhead’s quirk 2. Use it to kill All for One 3. Give Erasure back, hopefully 4. Go to jail, probably He’s prepared for the plan to fail at any time, but surprisingly, it’s not until step 4 that things fall through.

clawing at the walls of my enclosure. what people refuse to understand is that light wasn't destined to be a terrible person, but instead that the moment he put a pen to the death note, he was Doomed. even if no one knew that he had killed otoharada he knew, light, son of soichiro, who pursues justice above all else, is said by the author to be The Only Good Person in the Series, light yagami with loving parents and a sister whom he wanted to protect above all else. HE killed someone and HE knew and even if he wanted to say it was just a coincidence it sunk into his psyche. if anyone found out it would tear his family apart. that is the stone that sunk into him and that is the death note's curse. You Killed Someone and Only You Know.
and then he saves someone with it. he saves a young woman and that's the second nail in the coffin because now he has a reason and that reason aligns with his belief system. and so, already traumatized that he has now killed Multiple People and Cannot Say Anything without ruining his life and also traumatizing his entire family, he has no choice but to keep going. and then kira gets a following. people are encouraging him and he's already being followed by a supernatural being so yeah, sleep deprived and malnourished and in contact with A Death God's Book, pursuing godhood and protecting the innocent becomes the only way forward as he is pushed Further and Further from humanity.
and then the police start pursuing kira. now he's isolated from both sides—kira's followers continue to push him upwards and deify him, while the police (!!! his own father !!!) proclaim him as evil. he couldn't let anyone find out before but now it's even More of a risk, now he has to actively evade capture, dedicate his time and energy to hiding away and isolating himself further and further and further
and then misa appears and it only gets worse, because SHE idolizes and deifies him, so while he does have someone to confide in, it's again someone who will reaffirm that he's right every single time, because He Helped Her. he avenged her parents and so now all she has is him. and all he has is her. and the isolation gets Worse
L is the only person who gets even CLOSE to reaching out to him, poking and prodding at him and tugging at his strings at a very close and personal angle. it's said in L change the worLd that L lost because kira died without realizing the error of his ways. the intention was to bring him back down to earth!! to atone!! not just the death penalty, not just jail for life, to bring him back down to humanity!!
but L dies, and that tie is severed, and from there it only gets worse, because then kira's actions begin hurting his family. but now there's a religious movement, there's countless supporters who want kira to continue, who revere kira as their god, so even as sayu is permanently scarred, even as soichiro dies, he can't stop. because if he stops, all of it was for nothing. because kira has existed for years, he's been lying to his family for years, L was right and he's wasted years and years of his life so he HAS to keep going, until the moment it puts him into the ground. because there's no going back without putting the entire world against him.

Now... I'm on the end of S 2 of Farscape, this is hardly the first watch. More like around the 5th... It's all your fault. You, around here, who keep making gifs! There are things I am addicted to. This is one of them. It took only a look, and the old habits are back. Also, Crichton now looks even more deranged. But damn I love them. Now that is a dramatic love story. These characters are amazing. Oddly it never felt... incomplete. In comparison to The X-files, back in the day, I was wondering about the logic behind so many of the episodes, and after every episode. It felt so many times, that there was this abyss, a huge skip of time, something important that I somehow missed, or jumping into a completely different world. They would say things and after that -nothing, as if never happened. Maybe I just remember incorrectly. But with Farscape, this shit never felt that way, and we are talking aliens, made-up words, planets, space, time jumps, insane shit like creating made-up realities, playing with vague concepts, with difficult themes. Oddly enough after so many American TV shows and movies, Australian productions felt a lot more sane. The characters feel a lot more relatable. The way they speak, the way they react emotionally. The way they react to each other. Australians seem warmer, more open, and more genuine, even when it's about some evil character who does unspeakable things. They feel a lot more human to me. They seem to avoid this way of telling a story when characters conveniently miss some important information, even though everyone else knows it, or miscommunicate on purpose, with no logic, and they are much more understanding and forgiving, almost as if they know and accept that no one is without flaws... They seem much braver in depicting sides of human behavior, that are distasteful or controversial. And the judgment seems way less. As if they don't expect a person to always be able to take the high ground, and that's fine. Maybe I am wrong, and it's not like I have seen that much of Australian TV, but... this is how it feels. In comparison, US characters are expected to behave in a certain way, almost like society doesn't tolerate any mistakes, and it is expected to know perfectly what to do in every given situation and get over hurt and pain in the span of 3 to 5 business days, with no time off, no explanations. Mistakes are punished brutally, so much so that there is no second chance, no attempt to understand, even if we are talking about young people or children. But at the same time, certain people can get away with pretty much everything, because of their status in society and no one can say anything. There is a certain lack of communication and normal human conversations, these moments of talking about nothing in general, but about random small things, things that make up the human character - tastes in food, music, animals, favourite things, small oddities, dislikes, fears...
All of a sudden, you have people who know nothing about someone who they spent years around and call a friend. And all of a sudden - huge surprise, they have a close relative, who they never mentioned, a childhood that is beyond insane, some amazing skill they never shared before, like speaking an exotic language or being able to fly a plane, or spending their youth in jail, but in the same in a jungle of South America with some isolated tribe, or riding elephants in Africa or something... Or having a child with a former lover, they never spoke about. I mean, is this normal? Not to talk among each other? Is this not considered important? Or this is just for the sake of storytelling? Odd... It feels like with the way stories are told, I always have to wonder where is this going, and what to expect, always on my toes, even when there is no point to the story. I don't know if I am making any sense...

So I was trying to find some random Sonic OCs off Google to draw today because, man, art block killing me. I would like to prefece that I, myself, have Sonic OCs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(This is all old art, except for my sonic.exe oc, but alas)
I think they're fun and a good way to express your creativity, whether that's writing them to date a character that you like or to be the most popular/powerfulest person EVER.
But with my not very deep dive into the 3 page of Google, I realized that even the really well draw or intriguing OCs are "cringe" and "Mary Sues".
With this, the notion comes that OCs are inherently cringe and not worth making unless you make them the most boring and unspecial person ever. Like: "This is my Sonic oc, Joe the cat. He works at a desk job, and he likes coffee." Making just your average Joe can be fun, but the thought that ALL OCs have to be fucking boring is dumb.
This thought is everywhere. You scroll through Google for 30 seconds, and you see articles about sonic OCs being a sickness, like this article from the medium. Like the drawing that a 10 y/o posted on deviant art about their green sonic will irreparably damage art.
This mindset actually hurts art in the long run. If you get told over and over again that the self insert you make is cringe and you should never draw again then, inevitably, you're going to stop drawing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was someone actually who thought for a very long time that my OCs shouldn't be special, or have super cool powers, or even have heterocromia. A good lot of my original characters were boring because I was worried about making a Mary Sue (Thanks CyberSans). It's actually a very deliberate choice that my self-insert/persona, Mephy, cringe.
Yes, I took things from jjba and Sonic to make this weird combo of Mephiles, Diego, jouta, and myself. I did this to push myself to make something "cringe," and anytime I think about removing his tail, I remember why I gave him one.
After I disregarded being seen as cringe, did I start to like designing characters. Just the want to make something I like without being worried if it's cringe or not. I think the freedom to make things like this is very important for young artists (or just artists in general). It's very liberating.
I took the making things purposefully cringe into my TF2 OCs. I gave them on the noise names, and I gave them back stories that were edgy. I enjoyed it. It made me happy.
With the acceptance of being seen as weird, I almost forgot what things were "cringe." I've just been seeing so many people happily making sonadow fan kids that I forgot people think that's cringe. I forgot that edgy OCs is cringe. I forgot that just being into something odd is cringe, and that makes me sad. I honestly thought that we got past thinking that darkspine the evil hedgehog (original character, do not steal) is cringe.
It's just sad. These OCs are cool. And yes, there are sonic OCs that aren't seen as cringe, like Ian Jr, S.N.T., or Trevor the hedgehog, but those are the exceptions. When was the last time you heard something say that Rosechu was their favorite OC? That's right, you haven't because sonichu is very much "cringe" (and don't bring up that Chris-chan did some fucked up shit, y'all didn't like she before she went to jail or did any of that fucked up stuff.) Why can't someone just make someone weird?
Concussion: Stop seeing things as cringe, and cringe culture is NOT dead until we kill it ourselves.
Anyway, I think I have written enough, and my English teacher would say that this is an emotional rant and that I need to rewrite like half of this. I think one of her exact words on a paper I wrote was "zack, this sentence makes me want to smear poop in my hair."
Here is some old art is some of my favorite little guys I found off Google (:

Post 834
Brett M Lahr, Pennsylvania inmate MB7431, subsequently paroled to parolee 829HX, born 1995, incarceration intake in 2016 at age 21, released from custody to parole supervision on 03/02/2020, subject to full release in 2035
Conspiracy
One of the four men charged was sentenced to what could be years in state prison and two others entered guilty pleas at the same hearing for a rock-throwing incident that left a Stark County schoolteacher with severe brain injuries.
Brett Lahr, 19, received 18 months to 20 years after pleading no contest to a conspiracy count.
Police have said the four young men were out to cause mayhem one night a year ago when they ended up on an Interstate 80 overpass in the dark of night. The rock, which weighed nearly 5 pounds, was sent crashing through a vehicle in which middle school teacher Sharon Budd was a front-seat passenger.
Budd, a resident of Lake Township who taught in Perry, said after the four hearings Tuesday that as a career teacher she felt some sympathy for the men.
“I couldn’t help but my heart went out to them,” Budd said. “I think back to when I was 17, I didn’t always make the best decisions.”
Brett Lahr opted to voluntarily begin serving time earlier this year when he pleaded no contest. Under Pennsylvania sentencing rules, he will be eligible for parole in less than a year and a half, but it’s likely he will serve longer. He will remain on probation until 2035.
“They have chosen to put themselves where they’re at,” said Union County District Attorney Pete Johnson. “The victim didn’t choose to put herself where she’s at.”
Lahr’s lawyer, Bruce Manchester, said his client would get credit for time served in jail for the previous nine months.
“I think it’s very fair, and he now realizes the significance of his conduct,” Manchester said after the hearing. “He is remorseful.”
Sharon’s husband, Randy Budd, said during the sentencing hearing that their lives were forever changed by what happened that night, as his daughter drove the three of them from their home toward New York, where they planned to see a show.
Sharon Budd lost her right eye, does not have full control of her bodily function and needs around-the-clock care, he said.
His lawyer said Brett Lahr feels sorry for what occurred.
“To not have any idea of the damage that ... could be caused by a rock of that shape and size going through a windshield of a passenger car, that’s not a prank, that’s evil,” Sholley said.
The judge also ordered Brett Lahr to pay restitution for damage that occurred that night when the four drove through a farmer’s cornfield, and when his brother Dylan broke windows in a home with a baseball bat.

Ok chapter 11 is the last one about the first case so let's go!
The team is getting ready to interrogate the two forensic officers they caught. They aren't able to find the last victim so they suspect they are too late. They think it's odd that Narong only took three days off for his sister's funeral. I'm not entirely sure how long it takes in Thailand but yeah that's a very short leave. Hell even my job gives 5 days bereavement. Singh is nervous about something. He knows something isn't right. They've been searching the suspect and victims homes but have found nothing. Singh tells them the crime scene is somewhere else.
Everyone starts rushing off. Tharn goes off alone and doesn't answer Phaya's calls. Phaya jumps in front of Yai's car to get him to stop and jumps in. Tharn has had one of his visions apparently. Khem wants to know why he rushed off and Yai and Phaya share a look knowing why. They take off following Tharn.
They arrive at a burning farmhouse. Tharn has already run off towards the house and Phaya chases after. There are a bunch of young kids in the backyard burning the house. Tharn grabs the torch and Phaya finds a tap and a bucket to put out the fire. The kids look nervous so Tharn tries to reassure them he's there to help but one girl starts crying. They don't want to go to jail. Tharn says he's there to help but they wanted to finish the mission. What mission? Apparently their friend is trapped in the house next door who would be released if they burned the house by a certain time. Tharn guesses the kids are more than 5 or 6 years old. They were playing a game called hero where they did missions and the last one was burning the house to save their friend. Tharn can't believe Narong would use such small children for his evil plans.
Khem and Yai are helping Phaya with the fire when they hear the sirens from fire trucks. Tharn asks Khem to watch the children as he goes to the house next door. It's chained and padlocked. Tharn shoots the lock and finds the last child asleep on the couch. There's a fan to keep him cool and crumbs from snacks on the table. The little boy doesn't wake up so Tharn checks his pulse. He's alive but has been drugged. Tharn takes him to the ambulance. Parents start arriving to check on their children.
Khem asks Tharn how he knew and Tharn makes excuses about presuming. The team is called back to the office. Tharn tries to talk to Phaya but he walks off and goes back with Khem and Yai instead. Tharn is frustrated that Phaya won't tell him what's wrong.
Back at the office, they are interrogating Narong. Vit has confessed everything about helping Narong with the kidnapping and torture. Narong goes from not being worried to upset and crying as they explain that they stopped the fire before the last body could be burnt. He asks what about his sister. The department ruined everything for him. Narong thinks back on happier days with his sister. How she was going to a job interview the day she was attacked but he couldn't pick her up. That he heard the call of the assault and realized it was his sister. How she blamed him for not being there when she needed him. Being upset that the perpetrator was only given 10 years and that he couldn't do any more to make sure he never hurt anyone else.
Narong confesses he forced Vit to help him. The little boy in the house is Vit's little brother. So Vit went along to make sure that Narong wouldn't hurt him. Narong gives a similar speech to the show but asking Singh if he thinks this job makes him a hero. That they all know why the rapist got his sentence reduced. They start leaving everyone knowing that Narong is right but not wanting to talk about it.
Tharn goes to see Narong at his cell. He wants to tell him what he heard from the voice. That she wished him to live a good life. Narong chuckles and says he sounds like he's talked to his sister. Tharn continues telling Narong that she got her first class honor for her brother. That she didn't really blame him for what happened that day. That he was always her hero. Phaya had been listening and smiled and left before Tharn knew he was there.
Tharn finishes and turns to leave. He asks the voice he's been hearing if they were satisfied. He didn't get a response other than a soft breeze by his ear before it faded away.
We cut to Phaya's house. He's exhausted and takes a shower. He throws himself on the bed ready to sleep. But he hears a voice calling Mr. Phaya and he asks who is calling can't they see he's sleeping. The voice says I am in your thoughts. How could I not know what you are thinking?
Phaya opens his eyes and sees a woman. He sits upright realizing it's Vanvisa. He asks why she's there. She says did you forget what I promised you. She says she's there to walk him through his past life memories. She taps his forehead and sinks into a meditative state knowing she must hurry because "he" has started to realize she's sneaking out to visit Phaya.

A Rescue Chapter 4
AO3
She sits silent in the back seat of the car. They await the officers. He wants to talk to her but isn’t sure how to begin the conversation.

She does. “I am glad he is dead.”

She looks stronger then she did when he picked her up. His death has freed her. Her words though are likely to place her back in jail.

“You mustn’t say that around the coppers. I didn’t mean to kill him.”

“I know,” she turns and looks at him. Her face is swollen. He sees the bruising where the medics white bandage hasn’t covered, “I thank you.”

What can he say to that? You’re welcome seems almost ghastly knowing how it turned out. He killed a man! An evil man aye, yet still. His wame rolls and he closes his eyes, resting his head against the coolness of the glass. Outside it continues to rain.

“You don’t need to say anything. This is my fault for not reporting him sooner. Were you to go into the dark, I would never forgive myself. I will do all I can to prevent that.”

He tries to smile but it is sickly. He hadn’t even thought about prison. His mind is still trying to process the horror of the bloke’s death.

“I am Claire, Claire Beauchamp.”

“James, ah Jamie Fraser.”

They maintain silence on the way into the station. The coppers attempt to get them talking but they resist. Jamie is thinking of Ned Gowan, his family’s barrister. He prays that the lass, Claire, has one. Whatever awaits them at the police station, she will need one.

Silly man, she can’t have. Were she too, she wouldn’t be so battered. He wouldn’t have killed a man!

Maybe Ned will know someone that can help.

“I am free,” she thinks, “no matter what, he will never lay another hand on me! Free. But the bloke, Jamie, I must do all in my power to see him seen too. My freedom mustn’t mean his slavery.”

“I need to call my barrister.” It is the first thing he says to the coppers and only as they are being led in.

“Aye, you will get a chance too. What about you lass? Do you have a barrister to ring?”

“I have no one.” There wasn’t a truer statement. They all felt it then.

“I killed someone but he needed to die.” Jamie thinks.

“Jamie lad, Every time a Fraser or Mackenzie speaks, I am mentally preparing a defense but I never expected to be defending you for this?”  Jamie and Ned sit in a concrete box. It has a door not bars. It seems the only thing that distinguishes it from a prison cell.

Jamie told him everything. From the moment the lass, Claire, stumbled in front of him until the present.

“I didn’t mean to kill him.”

“No, of course you didn’t. They won’t be able to charge murder but manslaughter is a possibility. Death via misadventure. I shall do my best to get you out of this unscathed. Why didn’t you bring her here instead of going to him and taking the law into your own hands?”

“I don’t know. I saw her and saw mam but this time I could do something about it.”

Ned makes a Scottish news that shows understanding. He understands. When he found out that Ellen was being abused, he felt the same helpless rage that young Jamie felt. Were Dougal and Colum not to have seen to him, getting him away from her, he might have been tempted to do harm to him.

Scots know that vengeance belongs to the Lord but none feel He should be completely left up to the task Himself.

“Aye, I can see that. The lass…”

“She will need a barrister Ned. She is all alone. I don’t know if they will try to hold her responsible too.”

He makes another Scottish noise, thinking. “I shall see if Miss Duncan will take her case.”

“Thank you, Ned.”

Glenn Close Playlist made entirely out of rock and Christmas songs!
Description of why each song was added below the cut
Don't Fear the Reaper: Song Glenn plays when being chased by the grim reaper
Carry on my Wayward Son: Episode title of s1 episode 48, also can be interpreted as Glenns message to Nick after choosing imprisonment
I Fought the Law: Getting arrested by the court, also being replaced by Jodie as Nick's father
Back in Black: Glenn returning with a 12-pack after breaking out of prison
Sweet Child of Mine: Glenn cares about one thing other than himself - Nick. His only remaining family. I know the original song is about the main singer's girlfriend at the time, so could also be interpreted as him mourning Morgan, but the child interpretation makes me actually sob.
Highway to Hell: Glenn's death scene and how his actions throughout the series culminated in the court arc.
My Own Worst Enemy: He sabotages himself so much it's unreal. Especially listening to the trial episodes when the other dads desperately try to get him to stop ruining his own case fjsndn
Jump: Glenn references this while in the battle axe of hatred
Rock and Roll All Nite: 🤘
Shoot to Thrill: Glenn and his iconic gun
Fell in Love with a Girl: Glenn stealing Morgan from Jodie
I Wanna Rock: He wants to rock.
Free Bird: Another song Glenn references in the battle axe of hatred.
Bad Reputation: Glenn doesn't care about his bad reputation.
You're Gonna Go Far, Kid: Glenn's passing on Bill's parenting to Nick, encouraging the same bad habits.
Owner of a Lonely Heart: Glenn dropping the emotional distance he has and processing the loss of his wife and son.
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer: I remembered that Glenn covered Christmas music and this one is acoustic but fits Glenns vibe/sense of humor.
Jingle Bell Rock - Metal Cover: Jingle Bell Rock but if it was modern rock. Glenn Close Trio definitely did a cover like this.
Wanted Dead or Alive: He's a criminal who broke out of jail, baby! Also Bon Jovi is classic.
Fortunate Son: Glenn grew up with Bill Closes influence and therefore was predisposed to not really having a normal life.
Wake Me Up When September Ends: Glenn doesn't really start to deal with Morgan's death until the end of season 1, matches the songs theme of grief so awful it feels easier to avoid.
Seven Nation Army: Glenn leveling up like a million levels due to the deck of all things.
You Give Love a Bad Name: Either a commentary on Glenns parenting (he loved Nick but neglected him) or Glenn is singing it at Jodie due to jealousy/to prove he was a better father.
Bad to the Bone: Glenns very choatic and is interpreted by the justice system as evil.
I Won't be Home for Christmas: An (anti) Christmas rock song mostly picked for the title and him not being with Nick during the Christmas season. Also the main character goes to jail and can't have a Christmas tree which feels metaphorical.
We Built this City: I imagine it as Glenn wanting Nick to remember him by referencing songs he taught to him when he was young.
Let it Snow: More Christmas rock, done by a trio!
Little Saint Nick: Nick was probably atleast partially named due to the association with Christmas and Saint Nicholas. Also a classic rock Christmas song Glenn would cover, while missing Nick during a tour.
All Star: Another one with Glenn vibes. Also dangers of rock and roll life style.
Holiday/Boulevard Broken Dreams: Glenns outward attitude he presents (Holiday) versus the feelings he's trying to hide (Boulevard of Broken Dreams). Also I hyper fixated on the American Idiot album like a month ago and could go on a whole rant comparing Glenn and Jesus of Suburbia but won't go into that brain rot for the purposes of making this post not super long didndkdk.
Summer of 69': Glenn probably getting into music as a kid due to looking up to his dad, similarly Nick getting into music due to Glenn.
American Idiot: Glenns anti-establishment attitude. Also even if he's not explicitly queer he has something going on. "Your dad's gnc as fuck""You're insane".
Dani California and Californiacation: Glenn being a rock musician in Los Angeles and the history that comes with that (namely the use of drugs and the "rough" life style associated with the rock life style in LA). His own self-destructive tendencies (Californiacation) and his love of Morgan (Dani California).
Run Rudolph Run: Christmas song by classic rock musician!
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home): Glenn and Nick's first Christmas without Morgan.
The Distance: Glenns tendency to try to look flashy, even at the expense of working with the team (ie the scene with Erin).
Say it Ain't So: The cycle of neglect from Bill to Glenn to Nick. The mention of drug use and both Glenn and Nick having to act like they don't care and partially blaming themselves for neglect.
Livin' on a Prayer: Glenn trying to raise Nick by himself after Morgan died unexpectedly.
We're Not Gonna Take It: More anti-establishment. Fight for Your Right: Another classic rock. Also Glenn tending to be irresponsible and prioritize having fun over his responsibilities.
Live Wire: In one of Glenns dad facts, Freddie says that Glenn read the Mötley Crue biography to Nick, but censored all of the inappropriate content, making it very short.
Barracuda: Glenn vibes. E
Enter Sandman: Referenced by Glenn in the podcast. Also the reference of "Never-ever land" and themes about Glenn not having fully grown up by the beginning of season 1.
Big Ride: The song Glenn sings to incite the prison riot.
Folsom Prison Blues: Referenced during the prison riot episode intro.
For Whom the Bell Tolls (in Japanese): Glenn's death scene at the end of the season.
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer: More classic Christmas song as a rock cover. The energy is very fun. Sidenote: My Spotify recommended songs are filled with Christmas rock songs after making this playlist. I am Jewish . This is a cry for help.
Run, Rudolph, Run: Modern rock take on the classic Chuck Berry Song. Probably what a cover the Glenn Close trio would do would sound like.
The Gambler: Glenn quotes this at the rest of the party. Also Glenn being really good at making plans/making the best of circumstances (Oakvale, prison, making Hell play Christmas music, etc.)
Godzilla: Vibes. Also my dad likes classic rock and always wants me to play this on my school's music request app.
We Wish You a Merry Christmas: Welcoming message from Hell!
Sweet Emotion: Mentioned in one of the last episodes I think. Glenn really just is winging life at this point, so valid of him.
Don't You Forget About Me: Mentioned in one of the last episodes of season 1. Glenn hopes Nick remembers him.

Fontaine: Lolita + Coppélia
So the dancing couple is inspired by the story Coppélia,,,
The script in game was written, but never published so it looks like in the efforts of the public to,, recreate the story of Coppélia,,, they wrote Dr. Coppelius and Coppelia in a Lolita scenario ?? where he as the creator was in love with his automated creation ??
The reference I specifically noticed is that he calls her "my love, my sin, my soul" which is,, a direct fucking quote of the narrator from the book.
And that line... it's fascinating how it comes from the point of this evil man trying to justify himself and make it all sound more acceptable, while damning himself in the same sentences.
It's clever writing but in a deplorable character study, which makes it all the more interesting that Genshin has included it for Fontaine
Bc on top of the obvious French aspects of the ballet Coppélia, having the citizens of Fontaine interpret the unpublished story of the automations turn from the plot of a young man turning from his fiancee to the doll in the window, believing her to be a real woman only for his lover to expose the doll as a doll to regain his affections,,,,, into the plot of a dollmaker in a morally questionable relationship with his doll to the point where she outlives and dreams of the day of joining him in death..... (< not the exact plot of Lolita itself but that reference and the romance aspect is the reference)
well it's curious given the human trafficking issue that is primarily centered on young girls being stolen away that has been going on for decades in the nation of justice esp since lolita is from the pov of that man who was in jail recounting his days when he was freely alone with his stepdaughter, waiting for his trial, but dying before ever being sentenced.
"She said I was her ruler and her god. She said Lousie was gone, and let us make love right away. She said I must forgive her or she would die." - Lolita
"The one who created me and gave me life has already big an eternal farewell to this mortal coil, and when these rusted gears return to the same ash as his bones, all sin will be forgotten, and for flesh and bone, to be forgotten is to be forgiven" - "Clockwork Coppelia" Excerpts
Coppelia wishes for forgiveness, presumably the same as her creator having except she says the sin is only forgiven when it is forgotten, but she fails to grant the forgiveness by remembering him and telling others that she is waiting for her death in the same way he died.
The fontaine research of philosophy place studied sumeru machinery, the guards of the temples. Deshret built those machines in the hopes to protect his people and to keep part of himself alive should his goddess return So for Coppelia to have these similar desires,, but opposite bc she awaits reunited in death and not in life
This could be a reflection of Deshret being a game representative of Ra and the emphasis of life after death in Egyptian culture but. dk
Continuing. His machinery hasn't been affirmed as being made of forbidden knowledge in the same way that Gold's were And his are known for having sentience. As seen by Faruzan's hangout and Tighnari's story quests, as his cores affected the Khaenri'ahn machinery
Which,,, brings us back to Khaenri'ah, as all things do.
Bc outside Sumeru, outside those Khaenri'ahn apologists, the Khaenri'ahn ruin machines are violent and immediately attack on sight. The sins of the nation are largely forgotten, but in Sumeru, we see the Kshahrewar Darshan romanticize and honor Khaenri'ah tech,,, and they are responsive to it.
The sins of the nation are not forgotten, and so the machines are still alive.

What if Yuu accidentally summon a child from a unknown timeline ?! Part 3
02 | ... | 04
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Awaiting your doom, you stayed still but you were slapped literally back to reality by someone when nothing happen after a few moment.
"oh shoot. I'm still alive...? Sadge." You complained which made the person who slapped you before, once more slap you back to your sanity this time.
"Can you please stop that..." You now complaining about the pain of your cheeks getting abuse. You rub your cheeks and thought of something. 'I wonder if people would think it be weird if I said I want to be slapped again...' your mind state is now processing that a super star just slapped you.
Even through it's a super star of another world, being slapped by one, is one out hundred percent chances of happening.
"epel epel did you get that scene recorded? Ahahahahahaha. A comedic gold sight of a drama queen. Ahahaha."(ace)
"of course! I'll send it later!"(Epel)
"you two! Your both being mean!"(deuce)
"I'll send you one too!" (ace)
"...send me that now! Ahahaha"(deuce)
You heard your friends laughter's and you suddenly have an urge to throw the kid at their direction like a pokemon to KO their chodasaurus rex.
You take a deep breath and swallow the desire for vengeance. You will do it later. You look around and realize that Ortho is being hold captive by Epel Unique magic and there still your senior Bylur dying in the floor by laughter's with idia who seems to be lying in the floor like a dead corpse, not moving even a bit.
"Yuu..." The principal starts and you no longer want to hear more of his chitchat. You know you have no way to say to this, this person is going to blackmail or make you do it either way. So you listen while the kid who seems to like you enough to stay glue around your feet listen, in silently.
Tumblr media
"what's your name?"
"..."
"do you like chocolate or vanilla?"
"..."
You want to hit a child but would not want to be sent to jail for child abuse. You been asking the child for the nth time 20 question quiz, you will get to know him better and try to defend him from being tormented by people who hate his guts for the evil deeds he did in one day.
Vil who happen to listen in to your chitchat with the child takes an apple and throw it to the young one. Through you did hear him whisper his unique magic.
The moment the child caught the apple with sparkling eyes. Vil eyes stared down at him like an evil man.
"name." He ask the child, who froze up and start to speak.
"...Ligma-" you stared waiting for him to finish his full name but you saw him smirk, his smirk reminded you of someone. " Ball. "
You sure don't know what to say but this kid is daring. And you have to stop Vil from choking him like from Simpsons.
After a long chat with Vil that this is just a kid, maybe his parents told him that never talk to stranger and such. He rolled his eyes but seems agree on that way the child parents teach him, the world is dangerous for kids after all.
But in this case through. Everyone in the world is in danger around the child instead.
Tumblr media
Some time later, when your force to stay with Vil since it's the two of you who's paired up and gain this mess. Making you stay at his dorm, since he reject the idea of staying at your dorm.
"dirty and beat up place that principal don't even pay a cent to fix? You expect me to go there ? And to live there?" -says the super star who once stayed at that place some time ago.
You actually want to go back to your cozy bed that clearly not dirty and now fix because of good fae friend of yours. but the child won't leave you be. He will cry like a siren and wake up the undead. He will also do this when you go to your dorm with him, might as well add that he taken vil room as his own room. The moment he saw it.
"MY ROOM, MY ROOM!!" says the child who climb to the bed with his dirty cloths. It was a force of three people to stop the adult from commiting first degree murder.
"henchmen. Your going to stay to this dorm then? It mean I'm the full dorm warden for whole night!" Grim who happen to asleep the whole day of the mess visited you at Pomefiore after hearing the news from Ace and Deuce.
He was laughing when he recalled it through. It seems that he watch some clips of the video you sent to your friends.
"thanks grim. I'll give some can tuna once this is done." You pat grim head which made him smirk as if his proud of himself that his very trustworthy to be left on his own.
You watch Grim left from the window, and heard the door open.
Currently you were in the living room of the dorm while others are force to put beauty product on their faces. Your also force but your first on in line, with the help of the beautiful dorm head to do it with you. He was doing it very aggressively it made you rub your cheeks when you remember what happen.
──❀*̥˚───❀*̥˚─ An Hour and haft before->
Vil, squish your cheeks and with a smile he began to chat with you: say prefect, do you know how lucky you are right now?"
You don't know if drowning and suffocating from beauty product ever happen to be the cause of someone death, you felt, your going to be the first one from how thich his applying it and almost leaving no space to breath. "whwut... Hwelpwwwwpp---" your voice is shut as he put a lip mask and coldly stared at you as if warning you, that if you drop the lip mask—thats not the only thing that's going to drop on the floor.
He began to pull out some face massager from a cabinet. And those things scares you as you saw it light some electric current and shadowed his face that look menacingly villain.
"if your going to stay here, you need to follow the rules of my dorm. And we don't allow potatos here. Only beautiful human." You felt insulted but you can't say but internally screams as make over takes horror to next level.
<-present time ───❀*̥˚───❀*̥•
You unconsciously back away when you saw it's Vil with the Mini Vil who look very refresh as if he went to a manicure and spa day.
The mini one eyes sparkle when he saw you and went to hug your legs again. You still don't understand why this kid seems attach to you but still run away from you two earlier and cause trouble to people future generation.
Speaking of future generation...' you remember what happen to Vil earlier and began a talk you probably would regret not a second later:
"hey vil how's your sperm count? Haha weren't you KOed earlier ? I'm worried if your genes gonna end with you--AHAHAHAA--"you felt very confident that you laugh but you saw a demon raise from hell when you stared back to the fellow prefect.
" OH MY SEVEN IM SO SORRY PLEASE DONT BEAT ME UP!!" You cower behind the sofa. You do know Vil can pack a punch and beat people up without even using his magic on you.
"how nosy. It's already late yet you still yell?" You heard him sigh as he close the light in the living room. You felt you pass a deficult challenge when you realize he won't beat you up. You heard a soft giggle from the child beside you.
"that ugly old man wear a cup. His acting earlier." It's the cutest voice and the longest sentence that this kid probably says. You can't help but want to pinch his cheeks when you saw him smile. But you stop yourself. You don't want to seems odd than you already are to the adorable angel!
"wait what..." You realize what he said. 'Vil was acting earlier? But why? Does he think I'm annoying or something.' you wonder which you probably agree on and left it slides. You have no other answer to that statement after all.
"huh..? So you do know. What a talented child. I wonder who's your parents are." Vil seems amuse by this as well interest about how the child seen through his acting.
"also who do you call ugly just now?" Vil grip on the child head with a menising smile on his face.
"YOU! YOUR UGLY AND OLD." Says the child who look exactly like Vil.
You hopelessly smile and take out your phone to record but you were both glared at by those two copy cat.
"NO VIDEO AND PHOTOS ALLOWED." Vil/mini vil
Sadge...' you thought as your force to listen to the two have a wonderful chat.
Tumblr media
It was super late when the child slept, and he shamelessly made the three of you share a bed with him in between. Since he call Vil bed his and dragged you in it. Vil refuse to sleep on the floor and the bed is huge anyway.
He did lock the room door and window for any wild rook around to spy on you guys.
You stared at the ceiling while you felt the child hugging you like no tomorrow.
Speaking of rook. You remember rook joke earlier.
"hey vil are you asleep?" You quietly called out to him, fearing it will wake up the child if your too loud.
"you better have a good reason to be awake at this time, potato." You heard him from the opposite side of bed.
"do you know, earlier Rook joked about something. He keep claiming the child have same color of iris like mine And cringe implying about some cliche plot of summoning future child of ours ahaha..." You happily says this which you actually think the most hilarious thing you heard in this world. First off, you two aren't even that close to be best friend or in a relationship.
"...that's impossible." You heard him says
"I know right--" you laugh but choke when you hear his next words.
"clearly his someone from grandchildren era than a future child. I saw his crumble paper with his present time date. His quiz don't even look pleasing to look at. He better learn more than he knows how to kick someone weak spot or else his just a muscle brain potato." He seems like his talking about weather when he says those.
"..." Suddenly you don't what to say more of this topic. Two things comes in mind:
1.) Is Vil schoenheit high by how he calmly chat about this?!
2.) if this kid really what you think he is. GOTT DAMN CROWLEY HE DID NO HELP OF YOUR SITUATION OF GOING BACK HOME AT ALL!!!
To be continued
Author note: I would probably write a point of View of Vil for the next chapter.

Note
i’m sure the grown ass adults that have been groomed as adults by people who were, say, their bosses, older family members, or older partners feel SO overjoyed at you making a post telling them that they’re using the wrong word for their trauma. you care SO much about real life victims that’s why your post was raising awareness about real life grooming and not about a more than decade old video game
1.) Again, that’s not grooming, that’s manipulation. There’s a difference. Grooming happens when a power dynamic between an adult and a MINOR is clearly inappropriate. It doesn’t even have to be sexual in nature however and unfortunately most of the time it is. When an ADULT coerces another ADULT it’s just that. Coercion and manipulation. Because an adult has, generally, a grip on what is morally and socially right and wrong they can’t be ‘groomed’ or as the old awful saying goes ‘teach em while their young.’ Grooming is shaping a CHILD to the gratification of whatever adult is preying on them. Manipulation and Grooming are two different things.
2.) Ya know how I know? I was groomed at the age 5 by my uncle, who no one in the family but my mom believed could do such a thing, but then went on to do the literal same thing to his own minor daughters years later. And because of that and coming to terms what was done to me I was able to get out of a relationship with a partner that was just as manipulative. See how I said manipulated because as an adult (neurodivergent and mentally ill as well) was still able to be aware of the clear power imbalance between the two of us (me being neurodivergent and sexually inexperienced at 24 and him being a self admitted ‘troll’ with much more sexual experience than I a virgin, spoiler alert real life trolls are just as awful irl as they are on the internet in my experience.) and before it got to bad I was able to get the fuck out. Only took him back once for like a month and then it was splitsville for real.
I understand my situation to some people could be relatively tame. But trauma is trauma baby, and that shit leaves deep deep scars that even today in my 32 years of existence still struggle DEEPLY with. A huge fuckin chunk thanks to my uncle who now rots in jail, and truly hope he dies there. The man in many ways has ruined my life as a happy healthy human who can trust and love freely, but here we are. 32 aroace who can’t form meaningful relationship (especially with irl men) because that fucker shattered my trust. (Not to mention the slew of shitty friends.)
So I’m sorry ANON, but who the hell are you to tell me what I know from first hand experience.
This is what happens when you start spouting terms that aren’t meant for the statement. It gives when people say ‘my ocd is soooo bad I’m just such a neat freak.’ But the person with ocd is like ‘excuse me what do you know?’ Even about fictional characters and video games. Because art reflects real life.
Do you REALLY think that after everything that has happened in the last three years that RE5’s plot and setting will really go over that well when it is eventually remade? Even if it’s Chris fucking Redfield, a white man shooting down a bunch blacker than black AFRICANS infected with a ‘zombie virus’ when the word zombie originated in black culture of Haiti will go down well? Like I’ve come to adore Resident Evil but there is some more problematic shit than a grown ass morally wrong woman getting manipulated and played by an equally neigh even more terribly morally defunct man.
Thank you.

Haloween Headcanons
Word count: 761 Warnings: Duelists being idiots, viper done with valorant protocol, cursing, brainrot, not proofread… It never is
Tumblr media
Superduper excited about the event: Jett, Raze, Phoenix, Astra, Skye
It’s no surprise why I put these people… They (By ‘they’ I mean Jett, Raze, and Phoenix) have the most childish personality and really enjoy events like this. Astra and Skye are really avid enjoyers of the event mostly because they love the candy,,, I headcanon that all these people have a sweet tooth!! Fight with the wall if you disagree👊. They (again Jett, Raze, and Phoenix) also are the ones who force Brimstone to allow them to make a party and give some funds to buy a shit ton of candy. Poor Brimstone had to agree begrudgingly; the young duelists surely would’ve committed arson if he didn't
Costumes : Jett - Cat Costume (matching with Phoenix) Raze - Dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland Phoenix - Dog Costume (matching with Jett) Astra - Dressed up as Harley Quinn ( Jett thinks she fits the bill ) Skye - Though she’s not American, she dressed up as Rosie the Riveter (She does the pose alot btw.. Its canon Im riot/j)
Is excited but hides it: Neon, Yoru, Sage, Reyna
Neon reminisces about her Halloween experience back in the Philippines and smiles thinking about it. She stopped going out to celebrate Halloween with friends when she turned into college and believes now is the chance to relive her memories. Yoru tries to keep his cool demeanor but fails when he smiles softly, remembering his times with his buddies trashing neighboring houses in high school. Sage, on the other hand, has never really experienced Halloween; she was simply too busy when she was younger. I headcanon that she lived in a more rural part of China, so events like Halloween were quite rare. And for Reyna? Well, she celebrated it because of her younger sister; she too has many fond memories of Halloween. Though, it feels so bittersweet knowing that she may not celebrate Halloween again with her sister.
Costumes : Neon - Dressed up as The Flash as a joke Yoru - DID NOT WANT TO WEAR ANYTHING,,, Was forced into wearing a Bunny headband (was supposed to match with Jett and Phoenix) Sage - Dressed up as Mulan since she (somewhat) relates to her Reyna - Dressed up as a Queen, wearing a long red slightly puffy dress with bold red makeup
Indifferent about it, but supports the other agents: Brimstone, Sova, Cypher, Kay/O, Omen, Fade, Chamber.
These people probably have experienced it once or twice and never really had an opinion on it. Probably by-standers in the party, wearing a simple costume but never really stood out. They also helped decorate the headquarters and help set the mood for the rest. Nonetheless, I think their opinion on Halloween might change once they celebrate it with their newfound family.
Costumes:
Brimstone - Wore a simple Pirate Costume. Sova - Has a small wolf ear headband and small tail Cypher - Wears a Devil costume, and has the trident(??) thing too! Kay/O - His body IS the costume Omen - Has similar cat ears to Jett Fade - Two words. Witch Costume. Chamber - Evil Priest Costume with Blood all over his costume (may or may not be real), claims to punish the sinful people.
Hates the event/Simply too busy: Viper and Killjoy
Viper just hates the idea of mingling for the reason of dressing up, she thinks it’s pointless. But she does like scaring other people, so she kinda wanders around the party scaring people. For Killjoy, she again thinks it is kinda pointless, and she's simply too busy, but she still goes when she has time.
Costume: Viper - Not a costume but wears vampire teeth Killjoy - Probably dresses up as a character that has an inside joke in Germany, and no one understands
Is in jail: Breach
About this man, can u not stay out of jail my dude???… HE'S GODDAMN GREEDY!! STOLE 10KG WORTH OF CANDY ??? LIKE BRO U EARN MILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND STILL REFUSED TO BUY CANDY???. HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE FIRST CATEGORY BUT GOT MAD AT BRIMSTONE FOR BEING SO STINGY WITH THE MONEY; OUT OF SPITE, HE STOLE CANDY. Got beaten up by Brimstone when got released
Costume: Breach - Thief costume or a King Costume (ironic, I know)
Authors Note : LMAO I CAME BACK CAUSE I SAW ALL THE KINKTOBER THING START FEEL FREE TO SEND SOME REQUESTS AND HCS <33
