Vessels and their Pokémon

Pairings: poly!Vessels

Notes: I’m sorry but I had to combine my hyperfixations I don’t know if there’s an overlap between Pokémon and Sleep Token Fans but even if you aren’t a fan maybe it’ll be fun to read :)

II: Water and Bug

- His first Pokémon was a scatterbug he befriended that lived in the garden of his childhood home (it has now evolved into a Spewpa and is very loyal to him)

- He has a joltik that he caught when he checked why their electricity kept flicking on and off. It had infested their house searching for a source of power and it definitely tried to fight him at first. Now III‘s electro Pokémon help nurturing it.

- Adopted a snom at some point and definitely keeps a tree like structure in his room so it can sleep there (they wrap up like an icicle when they do)

- Recently caught a Mudkip on a little trip they made to a swamp and instantly fell in love with it. The others definitely think it looks like him. He also used it as an excuse to finally add a little pond to their garden.

- I also feel like he has a seviper?? Also not that fitting with his main types but the vibes! (Bare with me for a second here) Sevipers often wrap around their prey and are also known to be very observant and clever so what if it helps II when he gets overwhelmed? Like a snake-shaped weighted blanket, it’ll pick up on his usual cues and interfere in time before it gets worse! (Vessel definitely had a little heart attack the first time he walked in on that)

- Skiddo! Come on doesn’t it look like the cutest little guy? Just imagine them cuddling together in the sun or how it helps with moving II‘s drumkit around. I also feel like it’s like a therapy dog for all of the vessels because it (supposedly) can read human feelings with its horns.

III: fairy and electric

- He definitely has an Azurill (it was his first Pokémon and he carries it around on his shoulder). The both of them can often be seen bouncing their energy off together, especially since he taught it skipping.

- Dedenne, I truly believe that it came to be his just like Joltik did for II, their house must have especially yummy electricity with Pokémon not once but twice intruding to feed off of it. III definitely carries it around in one of those cat hoodies, you know the ones that have a pouch at the front?

- Also has a cutiefly, it used to live close to their home. One evening III was out by himself, basking in the last rays of the sun. He had been lazily stretched out in the grass watching the sky as it turned from light blue to purple as he noticed it flying around his head. It wouldn’t leave him alone even when he went inside so he decided to ask Vessel for help. He couldn’t stop grinning as he spoke. „My Love, Cutiefly flutter above the heads of people who’s auras resemble those of flowers.“

- Also befriended a Shinx that kept following him around on his walks because it got isolated from its pack, by now it has evolved into a Luxio. With its tail it can generate electricity which it will gladly do to help out Dedenne and II‘s Joltik.

- He has a dreepy, which is a dragon/ghost type so no one understands how it came to fit into his team but it happened. (The other Vessel’s refer to him as the „Disney princess of Pokémon’s“ the little creatures just love him). It loves playing with Azurill and the water Pokémon of the others.

- He has a Sylveon which he can be seen walking around with when he’s in public. It uses it feelers to hold hands with its trainers which gives them the ability to sense their feelings, the vessels definitely use this to tell if any of them are uncomfortable or anxious in a public setting. Just imagine III walking next to it holding its feeler/ribbons?? that’s so cute. They can also emit peaceful auras which have definitely resolved some arguments and/or avoided some panic attacks before.

IV: fire and steel

- His first Pokémon was a Growlithe he caught it with the help of his dad when they were on a hike (now evolved to an Arcanine and they’re inseparable it will sleep on his floor or sometimes even try to fit into his bed with him)

- Shortly after he got his first Pokémon he rescued a Cyndaquil someone abandoned in the middle of the woods, gaining its trust wasn’t an easy task especially because they tend to be easily frightened but by now it trusts him. Its very cheerful and playful with the other Pokémon and can often be found curled up on IV‘s lap.

- He had an Aron which by now has evolved into a Lairon. They are normally highly aggressive but as long as IV manages its diet well (iron and spring water) it’s rather peaceful and gets along with the others Pokémon. Sometimes it lets the smaller Pokèmon ride on its back.

- Has a corviknight and it’s best friend is Vessel’s Noibat. They are known to be incredibly smart and strong and it’ll often help II with transporting gardening supplies or helps out with groceries. Due to its size IV could easily ride on it (they are used for transportation) but so far he has always chickened out.

- Excadrill do I need to say more?? I don’t think so! It’s very him coded and also helps II with his garden!

- Houndour!! They are very affectionate Pokémon and it definitely sees the Vessels as it’s pack, which means it gets very protective of them and is incredibly loyal to all of them. IV and the others often take it on long walks in the woods and you can’t tell me that IV and III don’t play fight with it all the time.

- Most of his Pokémon are too large to fit into his room together so during warm summer nights he’ll sleep under the stars with all of them curled around him. (Or during winter they’ll cuddle up on the floor in the living room)

Vessel: flying and ghost

- First Pokémon was a misdreavus he met on one of his nightly walks through the forest. By now it has evolved into a Mismagius and they can often be found wandering around in the middle of the night together.

- He has a Froslass, none of the others truly understand how exactly that happened, given that those are usually not the biggest fans of humans and are known to freeze them. It tried luring Vessel into a trap as they do with handsome men (I didn’t make this up I swear it’s true!) but quickly got way too fond of him and now it’s very protective of him. III definitely uses this as the argument to prove that Vessel is in fact handsome, whenever he feels insecure.

- Mantyke, that’s it you know what’s up. (He met it during one of his early morning swims which then lasted until early afternoon. The other Vessels were already looking for him and found him and Mantyke playing in the water together, since then they've been inseperable)

- Has a noibat he absolutely adores and picks the freshest fruit for (they’re picky eaters) and he borrows II‘s ear defenders whenever he’s around it for longer times because the echolocation they use can be harmful.

- Mimikyu what can I say? It hides its true form beneath a mask and tries to represent something that others will love and want to be friends with… it just works a bit too well with Vessel doesn’t it? (He’s very fond of it and I guarantee you that he treats it with extra care) It will often sit next to him when he’s playing piano and nod along.

When Blake finds herself sold out to the Saviours by her abusive fiancé, she realises that she’s certainly not on her own anymore and finds an unlikely friend in Negan. And Negan does NOT like men who beat their girlfriends, one tiny bit….

Chapter 207 - Worry

[With a broken generator, Blake, Negan and the Saviours know they have a hard winter ahead.]

Blake paled, clutching Mia tighter to her hip, as she stood up straight, moving quickly over to where Negan stood.

Their generator was broken and by the looks of it, the rest of their winter was going to be hard. Without power, heat or hot water the survival of the Sanctuary residents was going to be difficult, Blake knew that.

Since Eugene's stark announcement a murmur of voices was already steadily growing around them as lieutenants all shuffled about exchanging anxious look with one another.

She knew that once this got out to the other Saviours, the workers, the families, there was going to be nothing that could stop the ugly rumours and the worrying.

Blake knew she needed to help. Her position of power here at the Sanctuary had to mean something.

"We'll be fine," she said suddenly, in a loud voice, gazing around, not at Negan, but at everyone else standing in the bleak room. "It's gonna be hard, but we'll make it all work."

Everyone fell silent, looking to Blake now, Negan included, staring at her like she was the most precious thing to him, before giving a hard sniff and leaning back on his long legs, addressing the crowd too.

"Peaches here is right," he barked. "This shit is gonna be hard, but we are the Saviours. And we need to keep doin' what we've always done. We man the fuck up, we deal, and we come out the strong motherfuckers we always come out as."

Blake was almost certain she'd heard this speech before, but it of course was enough to sate the murmurs of the crowd all around them

"So, Eugene," Negan uttered again, taking a looming step into the portly man who was still stood before them in his long black coat. "You up for sharing exactly what it is we're lookin' for out there with Simon, Arat an' the boys?"

"I am," replied Eugene with a prompt nod.

"Alright then," said Negan gruffly. "The rest of you I want out there fetchin' supplies, blankets, coats, all of that shit. Oh an' some of you need to start boardin' up soma' those broken windows. Get this place sealed up."

The crowd all shuffled, nodding again at the dark-haired man.

"Well then alright, lets get the fuck to it before we all start freezin' our balls off in here," he commanded, gesturing with his hand for them to go.

And go they did, the rest of the room clearing away before their eyes

Blake remained by Negan's side, peering up at him as the last couple of people filtered out of the room.

"People are gonna get sick," Blake said in a worried voice.

Negan gave a sigh, dragging a hand down his tired-looking face. "I know, Darlin'."

He didn't say anything further and neither did Blake, for right now both adults knew just how all this was going to go down. Winter was harsh and even with Carson here, the likelihood of sickness was bound to rise. And with the Saviours living in such close proximity to one another, something like that was bound to spread quickly.

Mia in Blake's arms gave a whine, as the blonde shushed her gently again, pressing her lips to the tops of the toddler's dusty hair.

"I cowld," the baby girl murmured, turning her face towards Negan and chewing on her little fist.

Negan gave another huff at this, reaching over and smoothing his large hand over Mia's soft hair.

"You an' her need to get somewhere warm, Peaches," he said seriously. "It's gonna be dark before we know it an' I don' wan' the pair of you traipsin' up an' down those stairs after sundown."

"I need to go see the workers first. They're going to be panicking-" began Blake, but Negan cut her off sternly.

"No, Peaches. An' I mean it this time," said Negan standing up straight and glaring down at her, his dark eyes burning with love and concern for her. "You can go see them an' settle their damn nerves tomorrow, but tonight I need you to go back to our room an' stay warm. We clear?"

Blake knew that she would normally have scoffed at Negan's commands, but right now, maybe it was to do with the small life she had growing inside her, but she didn't really feel like arguing.

So much to Negan's obvious surprise, Blake closed her mouth, giving a nod in return and replying.

"Ok. Just for tonight."

By the time Negan strolled in through the door to his and Blake's room a few hours later, looking harassed, the temperature had dropped at least four or five degrees.

Normally, Blake suspected that she wouldn't have noticed the slight drop in temperature as darkness fell. But now, she could feel the icy wind that seemed to blast out from beneath the doors, creeping into the bones of, likely, every person in the Sanctuary.

Mia was already tucked up in their king size bed asleep, with an extra fleecy blanket thrown over the covers just in case.

Blake knew that she was lucky. Being with Negan meant that they had an abundance of everything up here. A gas lamp, extra blankets, winter clothes in her and Mia's closet…

Blake knew that she and the toddler would be safe and looked after no matter what, but it was the others at the Sanctuary she was concerned about. Those who worked for points. Those who toiled hard to earn just a small portion of what she had had given to her.

The blonde woman, who was sat on one of Negan's large leather couches, legs tucked up beneath her staring out at the darkened sky though the window, turned to look at the dark-haired man as he entered their room.

"How is everyone?" she asked in a quiet voice, as Negan tossed Lucille down onto the sideboard and glanced over at Mia sleeping soundly in their bed.

"Cold….and pretty goddamn nervous," he sighed, running hand down his exhausted-looking features.

Blake chewed on her lip as Negan moved over and slumped down into the seat beside her on the couch.

"It's only gonna get worse," Blake mused in a quiet tone as Negan looked her way.

He was silent for a long moment, sighing again.

"C'mere," he finally murmured placing an arm around Blake's shoulders and tugging her body close to his.

The blonde cuddled herself into him, tucking her face into Negan's tanned neck.

She didn't want to think about what would happen if a part for the generator wasn't found. Could they survive the winter? Longer even than that?

What would happen if the place eventually became uninhabitable?

There were now hundreds of Saviours. Where would they find a place with heat and power big enough to house them all?

But that wasn't the only thing worrying Blake and she knew it had likely crossed Negan's mind too.

What if the other camps- Alexandria, the Hilltop and the Kingdom, found out about this? It would certainly mean that the Sanctuary's defences would be down and it could be seen as an easy target.

All Blake knew now, was that they all needed to stick together.

They all needed to survive, to stay strong, just like Negan had said.

For if they didn't, Blake knew that this could be the end to the Sanctuary as they knew it.

How does the gang meet?

Ooo!! Yay headcanons!!

Ted and Charlotte meet first, seeing as they reign from the same region. They meet when they both arrive at the lab to receive their first pokemon! Prof.Sycamore is out on a research trip so our traveling Prof.Hidgens steps in to help out the young trainers.

Ted is eager to pick his first Pokemon while Charlotte simply wants to learn more about them questioning Prof.Hidgens. Ted immediately picks a little Froakie, he questions why Charlotte hasn’t picked one.

“I’m not really much of a trainer” She comments, he’s puzzled by this but finds it intriguing.

When Ted is leaving he and his Froakie are having slight trouble communicating, He sees Charlotte approach followed by a gorgeous Sylveon who looks delighted. She kneels down next to the Froakie and almost immediately befriends him.

They hang out a little while before Charlotte is called home due to a Pokemon emergency.

Bill and Emma are next, Its Hoenns day for picking your starter pokemon.

Emma is first in line at the lab and takes some time to talk with the eccentric Prof.Hidgens. He happily answers all her questions while she plays with his Piplup.

Bill is very shy and is stressing over his decision. He’s gone over everything he knows about his three options. (More on this when I describe how they picked their starters). He bumps into Prof.Hidgens and Emma while deep in thought, apologizing over and over before rejoining the line.

Paul had just arrived in Hoenn and is marveling at the new area, he is very exhausted after traveling by boat all day to reach the island and decides to rest in one of the forests. Emma is out looking for Pokemon on a slow day when she encounters a small Bulbasaur.

The pokemon looks unusually frightened and shys away from her. She approaches it slowly with her hand out. She hears a very distressed voice shouting through the forest growing stronger as it approaches. She fears the voice will scare the Pokemon but it seems it recognizes the voice

“Oh, Budo! There you are!” A boy emerges from the shadows, he throws himself at the very excited Bulbasaur who wraps his vines around the boy. The boy becomes aware of the girl’s presence and looks up

“Oh hi.. I’m Paul!” He looks down at his Bulbasaur “Sorry we were resting and I guess we got lost”

“I’m Emma! And your Bulbasaur is very cute” They remain awkwardly silent for a moment before Emma asks the inevitable “So… where are you from? I’m from.. well here!” She exclaims

“I’m from Kanto but I’m traveling all around! I’m not the best trainer but I love Pokemon and think I’m getting better” They discuss for awhile before night falls and they must part ways. Not, however, before Emma offers to help him train and they make plans to meet up tomorrow.

Bill and Paul meet shortly after this. Bill is walking around town reading followed by a very excited Eevee and a sleepy Mudkip lay on his head. Paul is exploring with his Psyduck trying to calm him down, his Bulbasaur following behind.

They bump into each other making the Mudkip fall into Paul who quickly catches it. The Eevee tries its best to intimidate Paul but its just too cute. Paul gets the message and hands the Mudkip back to the boy.

Bill adjusts his glasses “Oh thank you! I apologize, I was very caught up with my reading” He looks towards his Eevee “Sorry about him, he’s very passionate about his friends, I’m Bill by the way” he extends his hands, Paul shakes it firmly.

“I’m Paul” He gestures towards his Bulbasaur and Psyduck “This is Budo and Kincho” Bill’s eyes widen and he kneels down.

“Extraordinary” He whispers in awe. Paul gives him a weird look, Bill quickly resumes his position.

“Sorry, I’ve just never seen one before. He’s very cute and looks to be in excellent health and your Psyduck looks very calm” Paul beams with pride giving his Bulbasaur a high five, Budo responds with a vine five. The boys decide to head to a cafe nearby and spend all day talking about Pokemon. Paul learns more about his Pokemon from a very eager Bill. Bill hears about Pauls adventures across the regions and his love for Pokemon.

After this Bill starts joining the training sessions with Emma in the forest. However, he’s mainly there with his Eevee and his research equipment. The three become very fast friends.

Paul receives news from Kanto about his family, he must act quickly. He fully expects to have to say goodbye to his friend however when arriving at their final training session both Bill and Emma are ready and packed for a long journey.

The gang makes their way to Kanto and stay for a while before Paul receives confirmation that everything is ok. The group decides to head west to Johto to progress their Pokemon journey.

After a long day of travelling, they make camp in a secluded spot in the forest, Paul falls asleep first nestled closely with his Bulbasaur. Emma is next after a small training session with her Torchic and her newly found Eevee she met while in Kanto. Bill stays by the fire cuddled with his Eevee and leaning sleepily on his newly found Snorlax reading a book about the Johto area (Also found in Kanto)

He plans to sleep but suddenly he hears shouting and grunting deep in the forest. He becomes alert and motions for his Eevee to awaken the others.

They all approach slowly towards the noise cautiously and quickly hide behind a bush. They watch as two figures can be made out. A purple light is being emitted from the scene.

“Leave me alone!” A young girls voice shouts. She isn’t afraid but determined, Bills watches as the girl commands an order. He looks to where she is commanding and sees an Espeon. The Espeon is in a fighting stance, determination coursing through its eyes. Paul nudges Bill and points towards what appears to be the young girls opponent.

“Should we help?” Emma whispers. Bill considers this for a moment but before he can answer, the young girl makes another command. Shes good. She defeats the opposing Pokemon before scolding the opponent.

The three friends watch in awe as the opposing trainer races off in anger leaving his injured pokemon behind. The young girl sighs in sadness and approaches the Pokemon. “I’m so sorry” She whispers “You’re really hurt, we need to get you to a Poke Center” She claims. Bill knows better and pops out quickly.

“It won’t make it,” he says, much to the shock of his friends. The girl turns quickly in shock, holding a Mimikyu. He hears all his friends gasp at the sight of the Pokemon. It shouldn’t be here, it traveled a long way just to be abandoned. “Please let me help” the girl is weary at first before allowing Bill to help.

The group goes back to the camp and talk while Bills helps the Pokemon, assisted very eagerly by his Eevee.

“I’m Alice by the way…”. The group nod and introduce themselves. After a while, they all decide to rest and deal with everything in the morning.

Bill claims that Alice should keep the Mimikyu, to which she excitedly agrees to. The two become fast friends, and the group all agree to ask if she would like to join their journey. “I would love to,” She says honestly

They spend the day getting to know each other. Alice almost has a complete team of six, much to the group’s surprise. She’s the youngest of the four, but dont let that stop you. Shes extremely smart and tactical. Her pokemon are strong and very well cared for.

The group spends some more time in Johto, Paul gains a very chaotic Eevee. They decide to head north to Kalos to continue their journey.

Almost immediately they are confronted by a young trainer who challenges a very timid Bill to battle. Paul volunteers to take his place and they battle. Paul sends out his Bulbasaur, while the boy sends out a Froakie. Emma sighs at his obvious stupidity.

“Water types are weak against grass types” She comments. The boy glares at her then poses a very smug smile at Paul.

“That might be so, but my Froakie is extremely good” With this remarks, the boys battle it out, eventually declaring the boy the winner. Paul sighs discouraged comforted by a lowkey surprised Emma. Shell never admit it but she was impressed.

“I’m Ted by the way, but you can call me the best Pokemon Master” The group groans at Ted. Alice thinks for a moment before stepping forward.

“I’ll battle you" She claims. Ted’s smug smile falls as he stares at the girl. He scoffs but Alice doesn’t give in. “You scared?”

At this Ted becomes determined and accepts her battle request. Ted sends out his Machop, Alice smiles extremely smug and sends out her Espeon. Who takes one look at the Machop and smiles. The battle lasts about two minutes before Ted is unfortunately beat, he claims good game but shakes her hand just a little too hard.

Alice’s victory is short as she feels a Pokeball move around in her bag. She pulls it out and summons her Mimikyu. The group is shocked to find it in such bad shape.

Ted quickly volunteers to take them to a friend of his who can help. He claims there isn’t a Poke Center too nearby. He leads the group to a small house, located in a beautiful plane of grass. Surrounded by flowers and a small river.

A young girl is seen gardening assisted by a beautiful Sylveon and a very smug Delcatty. She smiled excitedly upon seeing Ted and the group of friends. She approaches them with a never faltering smile. She gives Ted a quick hug, his face flushes red before they let go. She turns to the others.

“I’m Charlotte!” They hurry their introductions and alert Charlotte of the situation. She nods and carefully takes the Mimikyu inside. She tends to it, much to the group surprise, it heals very quickly. While the ghost type rests she offers them food and they all talk about their journeys. Ted explains how he wishes he could travel around like them, Charlotte agrees and describes her passion for Pokemon. Emma invites them to join the journey. They both agree.

And that’s that. Im so sorry about how long this is. I was not expecting it. More will come soon though, how they found all their pokemon, getting their starters and more! Hope you enjoyed :)

Roman returns from a quest acting very different from his royal self and Virgil is determined to find out what happened.

When Roman entered the mindscape and walked slowly into the living room, his face was expressionless and pale as a sheet. Logan and Patton had long since gone to bed, but Virgil sat there on his phone, curled up into a ball on the small armchair, earbuds in. Roman bit his lip and tried to sneak past Virgil, heading towards his room.

“You’re back.” Virgil’s voice made Roman jump and he turned to see his boyfriend looking up at him with a warm smile. The prince-like side nodded slightly and just stood there, his arms hanging by his sides. Virgil’s smile faded and he untangled himself from his earbuds and stood, walking to his boyfriend and cupping his cheek. He was shocked when he felt how cold Roman’s face was against his hand.

“Hey love,” Roman said softly, managing to give his partner a weak smile. That made Virgil’s frown deepen. Usually, Roman would run in after a quest and go on and on about how magnificent he was, picking Virgil up and twirling him around. It never mattered how late it was, or if the others were asleep, he was always an enthusiastic ball of energy.

“Roman, what happened? Who hurt you?” Virgil said firmly, putting his hands on Roman’s shoulders and looking him in the eye, searching for any clues as to how he was feeling.

“No one, I’m fine,” Roma mumbled, pressing a kiss to Virgil’s forehead. Virgil could feel him trembling under his grip and he gently pulled Roman closer, wrapping his arms around the other man and burying his face in the crook of his neck. Roman’s breathing hitched and he stiffened. Virgil held Roman in his arms and guided him over to the couch, relaxing him until he was no longer like a stiff board under his grip. Roman’s eyes were filled with unshed tears as he buried his face in Virgil’s chest, letting the other gently pet his hair.

“Tell me what happened?” Virgil encouraged, resting his head on top of Roman’s and holding his boyfriend close. Roman whimpered and his grip tightened on Virgil’s shirt as tears began to fall.

“I…I can’t, Virgil,” Roman sobbed, clinging to Virgil’s jacket, making it wet with his tears. Virgil’s face twisted with concern and he lifted Roman’s face, kissing away his tears and taking in Roman’s body language; the trembling, how tense he was, etc, trying to see if he was upset, or if he was on his way to panicking.

“Hey, hey, don’t be scared. I’m right here,” Virgil said soothingly, rocking back and forth as if Roman were a small child, doing whatever he could to make the love of his life feel safe. After a while, Roman cried himself to exhaustion and passed out in Virgil’s arms, his mouth open slightly as he lay limp agaist his boyfriend. Virgil carefully situated Roman in his arms and carried him up The stairs. He went right past his room, knowing that wouldn’t be a very good idea, and went to Roman’s door. He managed to get in without any hands, settling Roman underneath his covers. Roman whined in his sleep at the loss of contact ad Virgil chuckled, shaking his head and climbing into bed with him. Roman cuddled into Virgil’s side and snored softly, making the smaller man smile. Virgil closed his eyes and kissed Roman’s forehead, settling closer to him and drifting off to sleep.

Someone sent me this so I'm sending it to you because it was ridiculously fun: What would the Little Pirates' Pokemon be?

I WAS SEMI-PREPARED FOR THIS QUESTION!

Not that I was expecting it but I THOUGHT about it okay? Like I had their teams picked out like a year ago? When I started playing PoGo for awhile. A lot of my decisions on their teams are based on animals that I relate to their core personalities and what they’re doing during their adventures. So, like I associate bears with Harrison and he spends a lot of his major character arc in Agrabah so his team is like bear and desert Pokemon per example. I don’t like region locking Pokemon so I didn’t put a lot of thought into that, just an FYI. However, please excuse the shittiness of these Pokemon trainer cards. The sprites are kinda awful.

Okay, as started before, I associate Harrison a lot with bears, hence why he has an Ursaring, Pancham and Munchlax. I don’t see Harrison as much of a fighting trainer. He just likes them around for company, so he doesn’t really work to develop them. He sees them more as family/house Pokemon than battlers, hence why his team is a bit underdeveloped. He likes caring for them, not training them. With that being said, his first Pokemon was a Piplup which got a ton of fighting experience because his siblings demanded to battle, so it’s evolved and tough as nails, and now an Empoleon. That Empoleon is fierce has hell and should never be underestimated. It rarely loses battles because it’s so used to being fought by Beth’s Swampert and Wes’s Delphox. He picked up his Garbite and Darmanitan in Agrabah. The Darmanitan is a pain in the ass and constantly wants attention.

I associate Wes a lot with dark Pokemon and foxes, hence why the majority of the Pokemon on here are dark category related. He has two fox Pokemon and they’re Delphox and Zorua. Zorua is his latest addition and was a present from Bobbi. The Delphox was his first Pokemon ever and they were pretty close until the Absol came along. The Absol was discovered on an adventure between Wes and Gideon, and they both kinda nurtured it back from a terrible state so it’s horribly attached to both of them, with a preference for Wes. The Delphox and the Absol don’t get along well. However, the most pain in the ass Pokemon Wes has is his Crawdaunt, it refuses to stay in its ball and gets very crabby with Wes when he doesn’t train it or use it in battles as much as it wants to. The Greninja and Hydreigon he’s also had for a long time and are often well used in his pranks, especially the Hydreigon, because he needs to get the fuck away.

Who is surprised that Beth has an all-water team? Nobody? Good. She’s a fucking pirate, of course she’s going to have a team that works well with her profession. Her first Pokemon was a Mudkip from her father which has since evolved into a Swampert. He is her most trusted and most powerful Pokemon alongside the Gyarados, which was a present from Henry. She’s been training him since he was a Magikarp. Wes used to make fun of it until it evolved. Though, the Gyarados is a bit of an idiot but he’s her idiot. The Vaporeon is the most spoiled thing there is and is more of a lap pet than a battle Pokemon. The same with the Totodile, which she loves to affectionally insult. She found him with a bucket on his head and took pity on him. The Sharkpedo and the Kingdra she found on her various high seas adventures and she often uses them as scouts when raiding ships.

Ned’s team is such a mixed bag, but it’s a product of his living in and outside of Storybrooke and in the real world. The Blaziken was his first Pokemon and it’s the one he’s closest to. When he was a Torchic, he used to sleep in Ned’s bed and occasionally he still tries to get a cuddle in with Ned, but now he’s too big. The Granbull and the Eevee are from Storybrooke. The Granbull was originally a Snubbull given to him by David and the Eevee is a poor lost soul left in a box outside the police station, and Ned immediately got attached to. He refuses to have him evolve. The Bisharp and Golem were found in New Jersey during college. The Golem is surprisingly really affectionate and it sometimes weirds his girlfriend Hazel out when it begs for a cuddle. The Cubone was given to him as a joke by his baseball teams since Ned is a bone head, but they’re good friends and Ned totally taught the damn thing how to hit baseballs with its bone as a bat.
