...seriously, though, Hades so far is the nicest god.
We've got Mr D being a dick, Ares manipulating them, Athena revoking protection for a slight, and Hermes trying to convince them to let the world burn. Poseidon seems cool, but we're yet to meet him.
Meanwhile Hades is "Hey, kid, I know you stole from me, so I saved your Mom's life. If you give it back, I give you your Mom back, and we're square."
And then "Okay, you just told me that my Dad is coming back to life. Hand over the weapon that can help me fight him, and I'll protect you from Dad's wrath."
I mean, yeah, it's all quid-pro-quos, but he's never offering something he himself has taken away. He's offering Sally's life, but if he hadn't stepped in, she would not have a life. He's offering protection, but not from him, from a mutual enemy.
He still wants something from Percy, but he's never threatening to disadvantage Percy in exchange.

Can I request Eri Reader with Yandere Parental Figures (Aphrodite is sobbing when she calls her ‘Aunty’) Shiva’s Wives (Who like to dote on her) Brotherly Figures, Hermes, Hercules and Ares (Ares is sobbing in the corner after she called him ‘Big Brother Ares’) the Valkyries are her Sister Figures (Sasaki and Zeus have a ‘rivalry’ about who’s ‘Grandpa’)
Everyone is very overprotective and territorial of Reader, as the Pantheons and Humans tend to fight each other over who she gets to spend time with (But hide their fighting so Reader doesn’t cry/get upset)
They end up making a Week System, Monday is the Greek Pantheon, Tuesday is the Norse Pantheon, Wednesday is the Valkyrie Sisters, Thursday is the Four Sages and Zerofuku, Friday is the Hindu Pantheon and the Weekend she spends it with the Human Fighters
And it goes great… until they learn they’ll soon have to enroll her in school, making their time with her cut in half (And everyone’s sobbing/whimpering about her growing up…going out into the world…making friends…meeting boys…boys develop crushes on her…digging holes in the backyard for said boys…making alibi’s for said missing children… *sigh* the struggle of being a parent/elder sibling is rough 🤣💀)
-Everything had been smoothed over, the gods, humans, and valkyries coming to an agreement on how things were going to be done regarding you, their precious little Y/N.
-They had all adopted you, either as parental figures, or siblings, aunts and uncles, and even a few grandpa figures, Zeus, Odin, and Kojiro, and you loved all of them, beaming so brightly now and you were safe and sound, having your massive family protecting you.
-However, fights and arguments started to become more frequent, all of them fighting over you, fighting over who go to spend time with you next, or that one individual was hogging you and not sharing.
-You didn’t like seeing your family fighting and the first time you burst into tears, seeing them fight, they had to figure out something and figure it out quickly.
-And they did find a solution quickly, you would spend time each day with a different group of your loved ones.
-On Monday you were at the Greek pantheon, with you big brothers Hercules, Ares, and Hermes, with Auntie Aphrodite, who ugly cried the first time you called her that, grandpa Zeus, and Uncle Hades and Poseidon, each one of them taking turns playing with you or telling your stories.
-On Tuesday you were with the Norse pantheon, running around playing with Loki, reading stories with Grandpa Odin, and cuddling with Thor, who swears he’s not crying.
-On Wednesday you’re with your big sisters the valkyries who dote on you, playing with you, having tea parties, dress up, and making sure you’re happy.
-On Thursday you hung out with Zerofuku and the Four Sages, usually spending it in Buddha’s garden, eating snacks, being taught how to read and write, taking naps, and just relaxing.
-On Friday you were at the Hindu pantheon, dancing with Shiva and his wives, playing with Ganesha, and learning about the world around you with the other Hindu gods
-On the weekends you were with the humans, with your papa and mama, Adam and Eve, Grandpa Kojiro, your other big brothers and uncle figures, and they teach you how to just be a normal human, teaching you how to run around and play, using your head to think and solve problems, and just showering you with love.
-However, a problem arose when Eve noticed you staring at children going to school as she walked you to the Greek pantheon, and she brought it up to Hades.
-By the end of the day, everyone in your massive family knew, and after Ares inquired with you, you told him you wanted to go to school to be with other kids you own age.
-An emergency meeting was called to discuss this, as that would mean your time with certain members of your family would be shortened if you started going to school, something they didn’t want to think about.
-Eve took you to the school, taking you on a tour so you could see if you believed you were ready to start, and the kids your own age were very welcome, greeting you warmly and they didn’t care about your horn at all, finding it cool as many of them were children of the gods and had their own unique features.
-When Eve returned, holding you as you were passed out asleep, she walked in to see everyone surrounded by gloom, as they had all come to the realization you were growing up, you were spreading your wings, wanting to explore the world! You wanted to go to school and make friends!
-Eve held her cheek in her hand, “Oh my~ if this is how you are all going to be when Y/N starts school, how are you going to be when she starts dating?”
-Shiva pointed to the corner where several shovels were already prepared in advanced, as they realized this and she giggled softly, as she knew that was a part of parenthood, watching your child grow up, but as parents, it was their job to nurture you, keep you safe, but also learn things on your own.
-Your first day of school was a day full of loud obnoxious sobbing, many members of your family ugly crying, not wanting you to leave while others, like Parvati, were taking picture after picture, wanting to always remember this day.
-You waved bye-bye to all of them, a bright smile on your face as they watched you take your first steps into this new milestone in your life, all of them standing behind you, supporting you.

Luke Castellan X Child of Hades (she/her reader)
Summary - Y/n first arrived at Camp Half-blood when she was 16, it was weird and difficult at first but she met people who made it better and maybe the love of her life?? They're not quite sure yet...
A/n - I know I haven't posted since 2021 but look, the creative juices are flowing and Luke Castellan has me by the balls and he's twisting real fucking hard so...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you first arrived at Camp Half-Blood you were bloody and confused, to say the least. You had just finished fighting, and killing, a Cyclops. Which apparently exist now, before stumbling into Camp Half-Blood and passing out from blood loss. Honestly, pretty cool way to die you thought as you looked up to the clear sky before your eyes closed and you were out. You woke up in a weird room, got told you were a child of a Greek God, and had a new scar stretching from your collar bone to your shoulder, cool.
Two months later you were claimed. You're sitting in the Hermes cabin when you hear screams from outside. Being fairly new to the whole demi-god thing, you don't immediately jump out of bed and rush to the noise like the others in the Hermes cabin. Instead, you count to ten and slowly rise from your bed and peek your head out of the door to the cabin, only to come face to face with a hellhound. How it got into camp, no ones quite sure, but its staring you down and you're sweating bullets.
"hello.." did you just fucking talk to the hellhound? You could've sworn your survival skills were better than this. But it just tilts its head at you, almost like it recognized you.
As kids with spears and swords begin to circle the creature it sits, staring straight at you, as if waiting. Everyone stops and stares, most looking from the hellhound to you and back again. You look up, confusion in your eyes, begging for help, but they just stare like they're waiting for something. Whether that is for the hound to maul you or not you're not quite sure. Looking up from the hellhound once more you lock eyes with Luke Castellan, someone you had slowly begun to trust at camp. He nods his head as if to tell you to continue and signals the others to wait. Taking a deep breath you straighten your back and look directly into the hell hounds red eyes, "Go home" you say firmly. The hound nods its head, turns around, and begins to walk out of camp. You hold your breath as you watch the hellhound leave over the hill until its gone. The large crowd that accumulated stares in awe before someone lets out a gasp and points above your head. You look up immediately, honestly expecting a dragon or something to fly down at you, only to see the mark of Hades floating above your head.
It's been three years since then, three years as a year round camper, and three years with some of the best friends you ever made.
"sup dickhead" Luke says as he sets his tray down next to you and slips onto the bench. "aw I love pet names" you sarcastically drawl while picking at your food. "Would you rather I call you sweetness? Or my Princess of darkness" he practically purrs the last name as your eyes go wide and a blush coats your cheeks. Your head snaps up to look at him.
His cheeks are red and blushing as he stares at you with nothing but love and adoration in his eyes. Like he thinks you are the most beautiful thing in the world, blessed by Aphrodite herself, but not fragile. No, Luke knows you're anything but fragile and can easily hold your own, and that makes him fall even deeper into this pit you have dug for him that he swears will be his grave.
But you don't see this, of course you don't, you're stuck in this treacherous loop of convincing yourself he only see's you as a friend while you're hopelessly in love with him.
Looking back down at your tray you mumble "Princess of darkness doesn't sound half bad", he laughs and pushes your shoulder, "Don't get pompous on me love, being a kid of the big 3 is getting to your head". You muster up the best innocent face you can before saying "what's it like hating from the outside?" you dissolve into a smug smirk as he deadpans at you causing you to fall into a fit of giggles he quickly joins.
As you're both laughing, you leaning on Luke and holding your stomach, Chris and Clarisse join you both setting their trays down. Lunch continues with he two of you bickering, Clarisse and Chris sharing knowing looks.
Later that day you join Luke again, this time for training. Chris mediates as well as you two tend to get carried away.
You often train together as your skill sets are pretty evenly matched even though he loves to hold the title of 'best swordsman in camps history' over your head, like daily. You're warming up and sparring when a group of campers join, notably a few Aphrodite girls, and begin to watch. You roll your eyes as Luke sends them a wave and cheeky smile, they blush and giggle, and you ignore the burning feeling in your stomach. One of the girls even sends you a dirty look, oh fuck no you're not doing this today.
"can you stop flirting with the Aphrodite girls for one minute so we can spar?" you grind out through your teeth, and Luke has the audacity to look smug. "jealous?" he raises his eyebrows looking you in the eyes.
Yea you're definitely kicking his ass.
Chris begins to look uneasy as you raise your sword and he signals the fight to start.
You circle each other before Luke initiates combat, swords making a loud clink as they mash together. You start out somewhat lazy, if theirs anything you know about Luke its his ego. So you let him think he's winning before focusing in on his week points. Luke might be better with a sword than you but you have more stamina. You start striking hard and fast barely giving him a break before you're able to sweep one of his feet and knock him to ground. Crouched over him, holding down the hand holding his sword with your right foot and pressing your sword to his neck, you smile at him. Right as you're about to claim your win he uses his body weight to flip you over and straddle your waist, holding your hands above your head. You struggle for a minute but give up, looking up at him, and realizing just how close to you he is.
His face is inches from yours and you can feel his panting breath on your face. Your breath hitches and a blush rises to your cheeks, but all you can seem to do is stare directly into his eyes. He pulls that stupid cocky grin once more and whispers for only you to hear "nice try princess" and all you want to do is grab the back of neck and smash your lips into his. You probably would have too if it weren't for Chris clearing his throat. Luke quickly jumps off you running over to Chris and you slowly sit up still processing what he said mere seconds ago. As you're staring off into space Luke walks back over to you and extends a hand, a worried look on his face.
"Are you okay?" he quickly asks pulling you up "m' fine" you mutter as you begin to pull away but he pulls you into his chest and begins looking you over for injuries. "did you hit your head? was i too rough? Gods I'm so sorry I got carried away" you cut him off by hugging him and muttering "I'm fine Luke, just got distracted a bit" he holds you there for minute, relishing in your touch, and you make a point to stick your tongue out at the Aphrodite girl over Luke's shoulder as she leaves with her friends. Chris laughs loudly but covers it with a cough as you send him a glare.
Eventually, and much to your dismay, Luke pulls away. He holds your shoulders, still keeping you close, and stares at you with the same look from earlier.
"You're beautiful" he mutters without breaking eye contact "I'm sweating like a pig" you retort and he laughs shaking his head. "go get cleaned up" and with that he kisses your forehead and jogs over to Chris to head back to the Hermes cabin.
You head back to the Hades cabin and bask in the silence for a minute. Silence is a rarity at camp. Hopping in the shower you let the cool water wash away all the dirt and grime on your skin and you think about what he said. Sure, he's called you pretty quite a few times but it was different this time. You've always been touchy with each other and forehead kisses are common but, for some reason this one gave you a spark of hope. As you're questioning basically the past 2 years of your life you hear a knock at the bathroom door and a muffled "almost done?". You realize you've been in the shower for longer than you planned and quickly turn off the water shouting "let me get dressed I'll be right out!" before stepping out and putting on a pair of shorts and oversized hoodie, one that you stole from Luke actually. You step out of the bathroom, still drying your hair, and see Luke on your bed flipping through one of your books.
He looks up and freezes. Sure, he's seen you in his hoodies many times but every time it takes his breath away. It doesn't help that you look ethereal right now. As you sit next to him he pulls you down to lay on his chest and begins scratching your head, your absolute weakness. You melt into him and his touch realizing just how tired you were after that match. You close your eyes and begin to drift into sleep when you feel him plant a kiss to your temple before whispering a barely audible "I'm in love with you".
Your eyes snap open and you can feel his breathing pick up. Raising your head you meet his eyes, not moving from his chest, and he begins "I knew I liked you when you stood up to the hellhound, you looked so scared" you stare at him while he looks past you with a soft smile on his face "but you did it anyways" he shakes his head "I knew I liked you but Gods" he pauses and you hold your breath "I never knew I held the ability to love someone this much" his eyes finally meet yours and he cups your face in his hands "I never knew i could hold my whole world in my hands" your eyes well up with tears and you try to speak but nothing comes out. So instead, you gently press your lips to his and try your hardest to convey all your emotions into one kiss. Pulling away you rest your forehead on his "you make everything worth it" you say staring into his eyes "all the monsters and the absent father, I would go through all of it a thousand times over if it meant I got to meet you" You wipe a fallen tear on his cheek and kiss him again both of you smiling into the kiss. Once you pull away you rest your head back on his chest, both of you adorning dopey grins.
"looks like we have a lot of time to make up for" he says
"we have the rest of our lives to do so" you reply before drifting off to sleep laying on the boy you love more than anything.

Cabins & Powers - Percy Jackson dr
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These cabins aren't in order so please don't yell at me. Hestia is the #1 cabin tho.
Hestia - Induce serenity, the ability to conjure up food, doesn't get burned by fire
Zeus - Electrokinesis, nephelokinesis (clouds), ornithokinesis, can sense/predict the weather, whatever else Thalia or Jason can do
Hera - unknown cause she's childless with her bitch ass 🖕🏾
Poseidon (his name is spelled weird) - y'all know what the fuck is going on. Percy mf Jackson already made sure y'all know. Big waves big motion 🌊
Hades - Y'all know how Nico gets down. (This is me saying that he has a lot of powers and I wasn't able to script all that shit. I'm only just a girl)
Athena - Annabeth made sure you know what the Athena kids got. They hardly had anything good on fandom. Com so I just scripted capable to see through owls or serpents eyes and audiokinesis.
Ares - Control over weapons, can summon armor at will, Necromancy (limited to death to warfare), communicate with pigs/boars and vultures, can adapt to fighting styles faster then most Half-Bloods
Apollo - can touch a person and know their body is in (can use this to know their heart rate or blood type), can sing greek songs to inflict pain (depending on the song different things happen), can curse people to rhyme or constantly singing, can create shock waves, heliokinesis, can tell what certain light waves are, great healers, heal faster than most half-bloods
Demeter - Chlorokinesis, immune to poisonous plants, limited control over the climate, control over framing tools (kinda a boring power till they got a bronze rake), control over dead animals bones (Dinosaurs, mammoths, and dodo birds)
Hermes - Can steal anything without getting caught, faster than most Half-bloods, can sense traps, can understand all languages, can talk to snakes
Hephaestus - Technokinesis, pyrokinesis (rare(😏)), can create anything, manipulate smoke
Artemis - those hunters can beat your ass
Aphrodite - Can control make-up, perfume, clothing, and jewelry, can influence the feeling of love. can change hair color and eye color, can communicate with doves, geese, ducks, dolphins, and swans, (very rare) charm speak, enhanced eyesight and hearing
Dionysus - Can make alcohol out of nothing, can control vines and orchards, can control tigers and panthers
Hecate - Mystiokinesis, can make an animal their familiar, communicate with crows and ravens, can enchant objects
Iris - Have the ability to conjure a large orb made of pure rainbows around an opponent. The orb would successfully imprison an opponent for a short time. The orb is quite durable, but could be broken through with sufficient force. The orb cannot be teleported out of. The target cannot be attacked while the orb is in place, so the power is purely defensive. (Limited), can manifest wings, have the ability to focus an intense beam of prismatic light which will burn anything it touches, can use rainbows to show them directions, and can generate rainbows and colors.
Hypnos - Can induce sleep on anyone, manipulate dreams, can wake themselves up at will, cure insomnia
Nemesis - Can summon vengeful spirits to aid, can tell when someone's cheating, combat style mimicry, can bounce back power attacks, can see someone's weak spot
Nike - superspeed, can summon Nikes warriors, control Kinetic energy
Achlys - Can sense and follow poison, can make poison, immune by posion, can breath out poisonous gas
Aeolus - Control wind, can hold their breath for long periods of time, can hear anything the wind carries, can use the air to slice things
Hebe - Can curse people/things to age backwards or forwards for a limited time, can make ambrosia out of nothing.
Tyche - Universal luck
Aetna - Can turns things to stone. Must be touching it (Limited. Only last for about 30 minutes but the stronger the being less amount of time). Have Ash Manipulation or the user can generate and manipulate ash, defined as the solid remains of fires which, as already burnt matter, cannot be burned again. Can generate and manipulate liquid fire.
Tumblr media
As you can see I might have gone overboard. Tyche children are the only ones with only one power cause I got lazy.

svt as camp half-blood demigods
tags: camp half blood au, greek demigods
cabin one: zeus seungcheol
of course, cheol is the son of the king of olympus. he has a presence that commands respect, and sometimes, he radiates the aura of a king too. as one of the senior campers, he deals with a great deal of responsibility while using the respect to direct younger campers in a meaningful way. he likes to give tours to the newcomers, since it makes them less scared to talk to him in the future. his best field is swordfighting, and he’s always bought over for capture the flag.
cabin three: poseidon joshua
there was no one quite as poseidon’s kid as josh. he’s known around camp half-blood for his suave charms, as smooth as the sea and smelling like sea breeze. the aphrodite kids like to mess with him because he always takes their jokes in stride, being respectful yet mischievous enough to hit them back with something playfully. he enjoys talking with the naiads by the lake and surfing in the sound whenever the tide is right. he swims daily and always wears a seashell on his camp necklace. he excels in swordfighting and likes feeding the pegasi. (they always have something interesting to say to him about something.)
cabin four: demeter vernon
one with nature is vernon. you can usually find him out in the strawberry fields with the satyrs and nymphs. he’s interested in hearing their stories and hearing the nymph gossip (which runs deep and is very layered with hundreds of years of history). his cabin is filled with pots of plants and seeds that are awaiting planting. he’s not a fan of a lot of violent activities, but he excels in the more crafty and nifty stuff. he’d like to call himself more of a behind-the-scenes guy and leaves the fighting to the other cabins.
cabin five: ares  jun
truly, there is no one who expected jun to be an ares kid. he’s a soft character when you first meet him, but he gets more lively later on. people say he should’ve ended up in a different cabin, but jun likes the liveliness and energy that the ares cabin brings. physically, he’s inclined more towards many different types of fighting. he’s good with the bow and arrow and also with the sword. he’s more of a jack of all trades when it comes to that stuff, which makes him kind of popular within the ares cabin. his easy going nature makes him more popular outside of his half-siblings.
cabin six: athena wonwoo, woozi, mingyu
even before he was claimed, the hermes kids were pushing wonwoo to stay with the athena kids. it was so obvious, even from the start. he’s bookish and a good strategic mind. he’s always calculating some strategy to help defeat the other team in capture the flag. he gets very into it, and he’s versatile enough to be defending the flag or capturing the other team’s flag. he’s usually seen tutoring the other kids in greek mythology.
many people speculated where woozi was going to go. his music writing skills pointed him towards the apollo kids… his physical prowess pointing him to the ares kids… his demeanor pointing him towards the empty hades cabin… but ultimately, he ended up in athena’s cabin. he fights with a shortsword and is often seen hanging around the apollo kids. he’s a good recruiter to get them to join them in capture the flag.
mingyu was someone everyone expected to either be claimed by ares or aphrodite. (and trust me, aphrodite wished she had mingyu as her son, much to the smugness of athena.) but, mingyu was in peak form when he worked using his head, and he has a lot of talent in many different areas. it made him the perfect athena child, so be physically and mentally competent. most people don’t expect it from him, so he uses it to his own advantage.
cabin seven: apollo deekay, dino
deekay is a literal ball of sunshine. this was another one that everyone could see from a mile away. he radiates happiness and glows with the sunlight. you can usually find him on the volleyball court with his half-siblings, challenging others to a friendly match. he likes kayaking and his favorite role in capture the flag is border patrol. he’s not much for the fighting scene, being a healer-type instead of the bow-and-arrows-type of apollo kid.
if there was anyone no one knew was going to be an apollo kid, it was dino. he spent a lot of time in the hermes cabin unclaimed before moving to the apollo cabin, so he was used to their presence. even after getting claimed, he finds himself hanging out with them a lot. he’s talented in swordfighting, which is more unusual compared to his half-siblings, but they’re very supportive of his uniqueness.
cabin ten: aphrodite  seungkwan
the it-boy of the aphrodite cabin is none other than seungkwan. he’s a good gossip and mediator of conversation, making him popular amongst his half-siblings and around the camp. he’s basically their spokesperson, though he isn’t the head counselor. he’s really into the skincare aspect of beauty, and his goal is to make his own skincare line for demigods. he has big dreams ahead of him.
cabin eleven: hermes  jeonghan
of course the son of the god of pranks and tricksters would be jeonghan. stolen from the camp store? been there, done that. broke into a building? also done before. he’s the head counselor of their cabin because he’s responsible enough to not get caught with his pranks unlike some of his other siblings. he’s handy with a blade and easily underestimated due to his thin frame. however, he’s incredibly athletic and known for his prowess in climbing the lava wall.
cabin twelve: dionysus  hoshi, myungho
now this is a combination of siblings no one really expected.
really going with dionysus being the god of parties, hoshi is outgoing and peppy. a lot of people thought he would be in cabin five with jun, but he’s definitely dionysus’s kid. it’s weird seeing your dad as “mr. d” and hearing less than great stories about him, but hoshi always takes it with stride. he’s the head counselor and always looking to make things more fun with a good can of diet coke.
no one really expected myungho to be a dionysus kid, but he’s just like his dad in the way that the strawberries go crazy around him. everyone’s sure that he would have the same effect on grapes, but no one’s allowed to test it out because zeus hates mr.d right now. he’s pretty mellow, but he makes a mean kombucha.

Hades and Lost readers son from that one ask end up getting lost so badly he end up in the past before his parents even think of having kids together.
So imagine them all sitting down at a shared table for the gods and some humans having brunch together when this teenager that looks like how Hades did when he was younger and sits between Hades and lost reader saying good morning to everyone before ending with a good morning father to hades and a good morning mother/father/parent to lost reader before he starts eating with manners oblivious to the shooed looks he’s getting.
What's up with this lost, sassy child?
💚Ask💚
LMFAOOOOOOO and Lost Y/N just accepts it cause they did dimensional travel before
God's and humans will be seperate since the post will be too long
💚*♡∞:。.。 。.。:∞♡*💚
It was a fine day, everyone was chill and doing whatever they do, then in comes a teenage demigod that's the spitting image of Hades. He sits down and just casually says "Hello father, parent". Everyone is confused, except for you who already went through dimensional travel and have no thoughts in your mind.
Tumblr media
One of the more chill ones, he sees the resemblance and immediately thinks "well if he's also Y/N's kid then he probably got lost and ended up in the past".
He acted as if everything was normal, after all he's bound to get lost and end up in his actual timeline
Hades obviously doesn't know his name so he just refers to his future son as "my boy", seems like that was the right choice since the teen himself just responded with " yes?" "hm?" "Do you need something father?"
He's pretty happy to see him, it guarantees that you two will be together long into the future.
Even though he's a teen, Hades still finds him so so adorable.
Tumblr media
Acts as if nothing is wrong.
In reality his brain is restarting like windows xp.
Poseidon will ignore the teen for a while, apparently it's not so different from his future self since the kid doesn't seem to mind.
However afterwards he'll spar with him and teach him more defense.
He'll definitely take at least a little pride that after the fight over "who was the favorite person" he just whispered to Poseidon.
"It's you....and by a lot"
Pfft of course he's the favorite, he's perfect, no he's not smug it was bound to happen. The rest are obviously inferior.
Tumblr media
The first one who vocally said "what's up with this child?"
Will NOT take an actual excuse.
Don't worry, he's just panicked, give him sometime (15 minutes).
After that he'll act completely normal, he'll actually want to know more about the kid and get along with him for the time he'll be here.
No he's not getting soft! It's a normal thing to do for your future cousin, right?
Even though he's a teen Ares will treat him like a kid, picking him up and shit.
He's actually a pretty protective cousin.
He wants the teen to find a way home ASAP, his parents have to be panicked no?
Tumblr media
Also pretty calm.
Hermes will definitely mess with the teen a little, he's only being a nice cousin.
He actually tries to help him get back to his timeline, interacting with the past can have devastating effects on the present.
Will get his unofficial partner in crime involved in messing with his shit.
At least he feeds that rat. Sometimes.
Tumblr media
Will actively try to keep the teen away from the others.
Be stupid together, he was a little confused, but he's not completely brain dead, he figured out pretty quickly where the teen was from.
He tries so hard to act as he thinks he'll act like in the future, the teen gets suspicious it's not Heracles.
When he acts like himself, then the teen stops suspecting, some people never change.
He'll have an eating competition with the teen, the teen may be skinny but he won.
Tumblr media
Surprisingly he's extremely calm.
He'll be helping Hades take the teen back to his timeline, meanwhile he's still the upbeat and playful uncle.
Zeus will watch over the teen and sneak him snacks when Hades and Lost! Y/N aren't looking.
He easily takes the cake for best uncle, if Poseidon didn't exist that is.
Zeus is actually the main babysitter for the teen, even though he always escapes and goes straight to Poseidon-

the olympians generational trauma is so so important to me. rick focused a lot on trauma and abuse in toa but he never focused on the fact that for apollo its inherited. he never focused on how it was a cycle and how it all started with ouranos and fathers and sons and wanting to do better and end up succumbing and and and
cruelest thing is that he was so close to touching on it too. in THO, there’s a paragraph about rachel saying they can choose their fate and apollo thinking “i’ve seen thats not possible, i’ve seen people repeat patterns thinking they’re doing something different when they’re just retracing the same paths previous generations took, but there’s something admirable about human persistence.” in TON there was a whole page about how “there never were any good old days since the problems never change as mortals and gods alike carrying their own baggage with them, but we should overcome it and move forward.” like you want to talk about the generational trauma so bad PLEASE DO IT OLD MAN. im on my hands and knees FUCKING DO IT. i don’t believe in the olympian revolution i believe in the olympian revelation PLEASE let them see the pattern and realize they have to change, not so that they can avoid the threat of war, but so they can heal and recover from the trauma they inherited from those that came before them.
SAY that anon!! It's all inherited. They want to change, but no God believes they can! Percy tries to have faith at the end of Last Olympian (a lesson he is quite literally pushed to the edge by Echidna to learn in Lightning Thief), despite Hermes shutting him down, and is paid dust for it. They don't believe it themselves. They don't believe in themselves. Hermes says he doesn't believe they can change. So does Apollo. So do Hades and Zeus and Poseidon and Athena and everyone else -- and even if they do change, it's so small and over so long that they find the world has moved under their feet again. And a lot of it is because they believe they're destined for the same vicious cycle. They wouldn't try so hard to avoid it (and fail) if they didn't.
Riordan really had the bones of a very interesting family story in PJO; clearly by the time he hit ToA he was AWARE that there was a scope for some commentary of generational trauma. He does make allusions to it in Apollo's POV, he's always going on about family therapists and how fear motivates them over love, the whole tyrants are insurmountable monologue. I wish I could quote certain passages because they are certainly...present, but my brain is just too fried at the moment to go searching for them.  But I think at the end of the day, he either felt he didn't want to tackle it overtly or change up the structure of his world building by so much. I think it's a poorer series for not doing so, although at the same time I appreciate that we do not look at the morality of these gods or their (for lack of a nuanced term) trauma, and their familial bonds through an entirely "mortal" perspective. I would rather not have a book long therapy session about this. We had TSATS, and I will do anything to avoid that kind of story LMAO.
I think it's also frustrating that Riordan (despite his many many flaws) comes so close to giving a genuinely fascinating reimagining of godly familial dynamics in a middle grade/YA series. That's why when he falls short of the natural conclusion of like... acknowledging conversations about generational wounds it grates doubly so. That's the great thing about the mythology premise -- it's fertile soil for a fun, monster-fighting series for kids, but it also comes with a meaty backstory to exploit, so to speak!  PJO is about family, over everything -- your chosen one, your lost one, your immortal, messy one. It's about never escaping your shadow, it's about seeing your father's eyes in your son's.
Personally I find it SO great that Zeus kills and entraps and tries to snuff out the prophecy (and the prophecy kids!) because he's scared, he's so paralyzed by fear of destruction and then the real threat is his own bloodthirsty father who hated them. That scene at the beginning of The Lightning Thief when Zeus and Poseidon are fighting and Percy tries to stop them but there's a voice--Kronos!--goading them on? Metaphor city. I wish we kept that energy consistently. It's all in the family, baby!
It's all about the cycles of inescapable tragedy. When you build a kingdom on the ruins of your father who wants to kill you...and instead of breaking the cycle, power and paranoia corrodes you until you propagate it to the extent that you end up afraid not of yourself becoming your father, but of your son becoming YOU. When you've lost the plot so so bad.

This is literally for one person so. Strap in?
While watching the season premier of The Winchesters I was struck by a reoccurring thought:
God this is going to hurt when it ends
I mean how can it not? John and Mary are so young and the spark is there. Mary is full of such anger and hurt, longing for more than the hunter life. And John is a haunted man, desperately trying to find a greater good to fight for after being devastated by war. You can see the threads of who they are here and how their talents and flaws will snowball into the tragedy that their lives become. And that's not even mentioning Carlos and Latika; two vibrant characters who are conspicuously absent from the family history Sam and Dean know.
Some might ask, what's the point in telling a story if you know how it ends? Why rehash the history for a man who ultimately abused his kids and went against the wishes of the woman he loved. Why torment us with the tragedy of a woman who never was able to escape the generational trauma she was stuck in, and who was unable to prevent her children from suffering the same fate?
Because to know how it ends, and still sing it again. As if it might turn out this time. I learned that from a friend of mine.
Hadestown is hands down one of my favourite musicals ever written. It bends genre and breaks the fourth wall to provide a story rich in meaning and heart. When Hermes sings "It's a sad song, it's a sad tale, it's a tragedy" in the opening number, we know from the beginning exactly what story is being told. It is an old song, a sad song, a love song.
Over the course of the musical you watch as Orpheus and Eurydice make choices that pull them apart; Eurydice's need for more for security driving her into the arms of Hades and Orpheus' inability to see the world as it is revenge him from seeing the real problems they faced. And when it comes down to it, after all the struggling and triumph, after helping the gods dance again, doubt still creeps. And Orpheus looks.
And yet, in the final numbers, we see the stage reset, the story preparing to tell itself again. A literal representation in telling a story for the story's sake mirrored in the play being performed night after night. As if it might turn out this time. And so it goes, again and again being told as a reminder and a warning and for the sake of the story itself.
Thankfully, in our case Dean is no Orpheus, always doomed to turn and look. Here he is Hermes, the story teller, the one guiding us through a story we think we know. The Winchesters, much like the tale of Orpheus and Eurydice, has merit even if it may not appear relevant on the surface. While I doubt any of us will be forced to sing before the Lord of the Underworld, we will have to find the strength to push through an impossible situation. And while we may not be fighting demons and ghosts in our day to day lives, many of us have complicated relationships with family and must learn how to see them as more than just the harm they caused us, perhaps not forgiving but understanding for our own healing and growth. The Winchesters provides a unique opportunity for a character to take back the narrative and tell their story how THEY want, their voice guiding us forward.
There are other far better written meta on what exactly may be happening in The Winchesters, where exactly this story is going. For my part, all I can say is I look forward to seeing what story Dean would like to tell us, what old song he wants to sing for us again and again and again.

REALLY FAST ANALYSIS OF THE NEW TRAILER and MY THOUGHTS ON IT
Baby percy is adorable, o shots of sally’s face
MET scene, original trailer scene
Special thing is a good word choice to hide behind since neurodivergent people are ‘special’ and it’s likely what Percy thinks Chiron is referring to.
My analysis earlier on the Variety was stuck between Montauk or Ares but how I’m sure it’s Ares
The head shot looks really good for Medusa since it’s not just 1 or 3 snakes but like 50 or so
The Underworld is going to be hell since it looks like it’s going to be super foggy
Clarisse bullying sceneeeee!! The actress somehow pulls off a resting bitch face and aggressive. I love how we also see the kids milling in the background!
The minotaur is definitely more bulllike than the books but it makes it scarier somehow???
Posidon shot is straight out of the last episode, the bolt is also from the last episode when Percy’s going up to Olympus
In love with the Big House windows they give it an old but diy feeling
The joy on Clarisse’s face when she lights Maimer stoooppp
I KNOW NEW JERSEY WHEN I SEE IT
The creepy bald lady i’m pretty sure is the Neried forming it was just on a different frame than the one they plucked for the trailer
LEAH IS SO PRETTY, she looks all serious too
Aryan looks so happy in so many scenes when he looks sad we know something bad just happened ugggghhh.
THE WINDOW WIPE FOR ANNABETH’s HAT. there’s just a small zing! and she’s gone
Luke’s actor is hella fine, I’m going to love hating the character so hard because he seems like someone who could pull off sympathetic looking but hella evil
Also everyone hurls themselves on the floor when Percy shoots I love it. He misses, the Apollo kids look so freaked out along which the Hermes kids. Luke was being so inspirational and Percy just FAILS.
Also disabled camper spotted either Demeter or Ares Cabin guessing by the jewellery on her arms but maybe Aphrodite???
Eveyone yells at Percy not SHOOT AGAIN ITS SO FUNNY ISTG
AHHH Waterland!!! Annabeth just looks tired but also like she’s having fun being with Percy
Percy on Olympus, Annabeth says “you still don’t know where you fit into all this?” I wonder if it could be before Capture the Flag or after the claiming that Annabeth instigated
Amtrak! I thought Annabeth was stabbed but never mind looking fierce though
Yup cloudy as shit, very monochrome, the guards looked cool though.
The lotus hotel is so florescent I can’t.
HERMES IS THERE??? HE WASNT THERE ORIGINALLY WHY IS HE HERE? Also I forgot Lin was Hermes I thought he was a cameo.
Percy jumping over shit I love him
Fight with Minotaur, Minotaur is scary, I think the show is trying to show that Sally really was a good candidate for Oracle by giving her a prophetic sensibility around her
Fun clip splice at the end the Chimera is literally terrifying what the hell. like it looks silly but from the angle it’s introduced it sends chills down my spine.
I think they’re keeping a lot of Annabeth & Grover’s story out of it to make them the emotional backbone of the story in the next 2 seasons and so on so forth. It makes sense since TLT was about Percy, TSM relied on Grover and Annabeth, TTC relied on Thalia, BotL relied on Annnabeth and Nico, TLO relied on Percy again. Rick can add more hints and Chekhov’s Guns now but he also can’t pull them all at once now because he wants this show renewed for another season.
My advice is to keep cool when we don’t get a ton of Grover & Annabeth’s story and riot if Season 2 doesn’t deliver but right now the show is trying to get newer and younger fans (as seen with it being followed right up by What If… in an attempt to get more people to jump into Disney+ and then scroll through once they finish watching whatever episode just ended to the new stuff) but I think it looks good there’s a lot of deliberate representation and diversity in the show and as spoilery as the trailer scenes we haven’t seen the actual meeting with Hades, Zeus and the other Olympians, no Dionysus lines or anything from New Jersey or the Lotus Hotel in truth.

In Defense of Persephone (Lore Olympus)
Many seem to argue that Persephone is portrayed as a bratty, pampered baby in Lore Olympus. I don't agree, to be honest. I love the series and how it portrays her. She's strong, compassionate, empathetic, and avoids conflict as much as she can. (or until someone manages to push her over the edge, which is something I think we can all relate to)
Please keep it civil if you think otherwise, okay, guys? Be adults. I am not here to start a fight, only to discuss why I think some people are wrong about Persephone.
Continuing on reading this means you are going to act maturely as requested of you by me if my opinion isn't like yours. You have been warned.
Point 1: Demeter is a Helicopter Mom
What many people SEEM to forget and/or overlook about Persephone's character is that Demeter was and still is not only a helicopter mom, but she also treated her like a baby up until the day she moved to Olympus. She even went as far as to raise her like one would a mortal, which is brought up in episode 177 during Hermes' backstory on how he met Persephone during the trial.
Tumblr media
She is only just now getting a breath of fresh air. She didn't know how to properly adult just yet because Demeter kept her so isolated for almost the entire first two decades of her life. But now she has people like Hades, Hera, Eros, and sometimes even Artimis in the earlier chapters who are helping her figure it out and teach her the way of the world.
Hell, the poor girl didn't even know how to use a PHONE, and Demeter only let her get an email because her school required it.
Point 2: The Act of Wrath
On the topic of the trial, what happened wasn't her fault in the slightest. It wasn’t a kid throwing a tantrum as I have seen people say it was, what happened was a result of disrespectful mortals destroying a sacred ground and pissing off a fertility Goddess who had no control over her powers and wrath.
It wasn't Demeter going. "Ohhh, baby, it's okay, mommy will just pay off the messenger God to stay quiet! That way, there will be no repercussions on your part!" nonoNO, that is NOT how it was! It was Demeter trying to protect Persephone from Zeus' bias towards Demeter, now leaking into a form of bias towards Persephone.
Hades even goes on to explain that Gods make acts of wrath all the time anyways, and as long as they have enough mortals for their amusment, why should this be treated any differently?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It really does go to show how biased Zeus can be, and how just because Persephone was a lesser-known Goddess, he thought it would be okay to treat her as lesser than.
Point 3: Persephone's Kindness
Persephone has gone through a lot of character development, but I think a LOT of people mistake her kindness and openness to help others as childish. She may have started off as childish, but now she is a queen with a loving husband and subjects who also love her too.
What everyone seems to gloss over, however, is her ability to be so ruthless when someone really deserves it, like with Apollo in chapter 98, the photographer who was Hera in disguise in chapter 54, and most recently, Kronos in chapter 206.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kindness is NOT ignorance in 99% of cases. There can be the occasional dumbass in the mix, sure, but in most cases, kind people are very smart and know when situations require a different approach.
Anywho, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Please keep it civil in the comments, and have a good day!

So I made a update version of my Pokémon au teams for pain, panic and neurosis, and their OC little siblings paranoia and hope as well as for hades too.
But I’ll explain abit about how each character is with their pokemon, and the Pokémon choices are based on my Disney Hercules headcons.
Also the green travel buddies on some of the Pokémon mean that, the Pokémon that has the green dot means it’s basically like ash’s pikachu and is always with them travelling.
Let’s start off with pain:
Tumblr media
Most of his Pokémon choices are due to my headcons example: blitzle and tsareena is basically due to my headcon of ship of pain x Pegasus and pain x tele (oc).
pain is accident prone so he has a lot of caring or healing or just protective pokemon.
Most of the choices are to fit with pain’s personality and hobbies especially from headcons: he likes to cook and bake so an alcreamie fits perfectly, where as munchlax and impidimp remind me a lot of pain in body shape and colors.
And since in my headcons he is the caretaker for the hydra where as panic is for Cerberus, neurosis is the harpies, hope is pokey’s care taker (the families pet gold fleece sheep), and paranoia take care of the underworld fire hounds (basically they’re ares’s dogs of war breed but underworld and look abit like Cerberus only one head but sometimes have 2 as that is a 50/50 chance of happening when breeding them) so that’s why he has the three headed dragon Pokémon ^^;
Time for neurosis:
Tumblr media
Like pain most of my choices revolved around headcons, hobbies from said headcons or from canon show or movie and that the Pokémon reminded me of or would fit well with the character:
but neurosis’s goodra and frostlass fight constantly as like ash’s bayleaf they love him, but abra has neurosis’s 24/7 attention due to it’s basically a baby, most of his Pokémon are used in the anime or games to help relax pokemon so he has a lot of fairy or grass type as their sweet scent from their flowers helps him focus.
neurosis is also very stealthy as in his episode he goes almost unseen till phil sees him when Hercules was fighting the man eating mares, so Pokémon that are stealthy, fast or hard to see or notice are the best choices for him
His dusk lycanrock is a reference to my ship for him: neurosis x mayhem (oc) and floette is a reference to: neurosis x clover (oc)
And his frigibax is from my headcon he can breath a cool mist like breath and breath fire but he’ll mostly use mist breath to make people nervous.
And the bravairy is referring to in my headcons his pet harpie: avara
Ok now for panic:
Tumblr media
Most of his Pokémon choices are like neurosis and pain’s from my Disney Hercules headcons or they fit with the character.
Like neurosis panic has Pokémon have moves or have a tendency to help to relax and focus, he however also has Pokémon that like pain are protective of their trainer.
Scyther and finizen are referring to my ships: panic x Hermes and panic x Lethe (oc)
Panic is show in the series to be a good fighter so Pokémon that aren’t that strong pre evolution but after they evolve are most of Pokémon like chardet, frokie, etc.
I didn’t give panic a Pokémon to reference the family pet Cerberus where as pain and neurosis as well as hope and paranoia do have a reference Pokémon for their family pets they care for, because hades own mostly Cerberus, but I gave him leafeon as it’s grass type smell helps him focus.
His morgrem joined him as a impidimp and kinda thought panic was it’s parent due to their skin colors matching.
Time for hades:
Tumblr media
I think the choices speak for themselves ^^;
Dispute his Pokémon’s looks His Pokémon are very parental and gentle with hades’s kids and their Pokémon. And if you seen my headcon that hades’s is pain, panic and neurosis, hope and paranoia’s father you would know hades’s was as good adopted parent till his bipolar temper disorder got the best of him, but pain and panic (later neurosis, hope and paranoia) learn hades really doesn’t mean it as he will check them over for injury if he hits them by accident while in raged.

Lore Olympus Theory 201 (SPOILERS)
I do not own any of the characters of Lore Olympus. These bullets are my opinions and based on what I think will happen. Thank you!
* As we dive into this week's episode, we see the wonderful Persephone as she argues with Zeus that if he needs sorrow, he will stay. Yet, Zeus argues that he must inspect Tartarus and see what is happening. My theory is that when he gets there, Kronos has got to be waiting for Zeus to show up with Persephone to hand her over or “control” Zeus in some way.
* Then after they argue, Zeus says he will take her back to the Mortal Realm, and I am so happy Persephone stood up for herself and said no!! Like yes, queen! Take over your realm and claim that throne! Zeus mentions that Persephone is a liability because Kronos wants to eat her/want her powers, so Zeus is trying to be an excellent brother-in-law to defend Persephone by going with her as they explore the unknown of this new Underworld! I feel the more they investigate, the more shit the whole situation is.
* As the bitter and argue more, Persephone ask if Zeus knew how to get to Tartarus and even suggests an offering. Zeus is like, what, offering? (Like major freaking out, LOL). Then Persephone defends herself by saying he doesn’t know anything ABOUT THE UNDERWORLD. Like for a King of the Gods, he really should know how each realm works!
* When they reach Hades’s office, they see Hecate under Kronos's spell because you can tell the long black hair and long claw hands. I love how both of them agree not to approach Hecate because they both know they will be fucked up if they try to challenge her. In Greek mythology, Hecate is one of the most potent goddesses, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they tried to avoid her as possible! (I wish Hecate would have been the person guarding Hades, but now that I look at it, I am so happy Rachel decided to put Hecate and Hermes under Kronos's spell). That leaves me with another theory if Hecate and Hermes are under a spell, then what about Hades? How bad is the damage? Will Zeus and Persephone try to stop Hades and wake him up? I want to see the showdown between Zeus and Persephone versus Evil Hades/Kronos and see our beautiful soon-to-be Queen help rescue her king like he did when she went into Hyper-nation!
* As they explore more and more, Persephone asks Zeus when was the last time he saw Hades. Zeus mentions a few meetings, but each time Hades pulls further and further away. Then he openly said I offered him a bride, yet he declined. Persephone was like you kidding me? Really? To Zeus. The bride was Leuce. In Greek mythological, Leuce was a lover of Hade's, but I can’t remember the whole tale. I am so happy that Rachel included Leuce and the many other “small details” of Greek Mythological and how it plays in modern times. It makes the series more interesting! When Leuce and Hades interact, Hades defends Persephone and declines Zeus's offer. Hades wanted Persephone to be his queen. He mentions this in the conversation between Leuce and Zeus.
* ONLY 👏A 👏MAN 👏WITH 👏NO 👏UNDERSTANDING 👏OF 👏LOYALTY 👏WOULD 👏THINK 👏THIS 👏IS 👏A 👏GOOD 👏IDEA👏 >> I love when Hades screams this saying towards Zeus. He is telling Zeus that he should wake up, love Hera, stop cheating, and get him Persephone. Hades understands true love; he is trying to teach that to Zeus! 👏YOU 👏CAN’T 👏JUST 👏REPLACE 👏HER👏Another point of him telling Zeus that true love is real and he should start treating Hera. This goes back to the relationship of Hades and Persephone from day one, how they fight, how they argue, and how they fall in love repeatedly. More reasons why we need to find Hades!!
* Hades finally said he wouldn’t have any more negotiations or meetings with Zeus unless he had Persephone by his side. I love that so much and how he defends Persephone repeatedly. My theory is that when they find hades, I believe Persephone will pull what Hades did when she was in the hyper nation back a few episodes (when everyone found out what she did and it was on the news). Or Persephone will saved Hades by being vulnerable or authentic true love’s kiss to keep him. I am so excited for that episode!!
* We see a new character popping in the window and catching Zeus and Persephone walking/talking. My theory is Hypnos, God of Sleep. He is the twin brother of Thanatos, but maybe there is more to it with Rachel 🧐? My gut feeling is that he is the reason why the citizens and (perhaps) gods under the sleeping spell not only to protect them from Kronos but to probably save the realm from chaos.
* Then we see Persephone talking to Zeus, saying she loves the devotion, but the idea of being lonely is crushing. Hades wants to be with you and only you, Persephone! Then Zeus doesn’t understand why they love each other due to the time limit they had with each other. He goes on to about risking more wrath from him to see Hades. Yet we see/read the truth of why Persephone decided to go and see what was going on in the underworld (not that she confesses her feelings about hades) but telling Zeus why she wanted to see hades. The idea of helping Hades how he helped her over and over again! She wants to be there for him like he was for her.
* Then she asks Zeus why he won’t let her be with Hades in the first place. She goes over all the reasons why she wanted to be with Hades. Then Zeus said I advise him to marry you, but in the first few episodes, Hades wanted Persephone to love him instead of forcing her to love him. As we see their relationship/story grows and unfolds, the more I want to see them together again!!
* Zeus then again asks whether Persephone gets tired of hades and moves on? (hinting at the many relationships with Zeus). Bragging about her fertility goddess powers and how someone like Apollo might overthrow Zeus. Then Persephone ends that quickly because we all know what happens with Apollo. How he raped her, used her, and gaslighted her. Rude!
* Then the episode ends with Hypnos freaking out, making Persephone freak out. Why do you think they are freaking out again? Maybe Kronos? Who is trying to control the Underworld? Perhaps Hades is in deep trouble than we thought? Maybe to get some more power to help defeat Kronos once and for all? All of these are my theories!
* SIDE NOTE: When Kronos versus modern gods/goddesses comes down to it (the showdown). My theory is Persephone is probably going to consume his powers, and she might become evil. Not really Kronos controlling her evil, but a new form of Persephone is born, and maybe she might be the new villain? (again, one of my theories).

PJO Fic: Ciel Capture the Flag
Disclaimer: Hello, everyone! This is my attempt at writing fan fics again, over the past year I had quite a lot of stuff going on and it has had an effect on my writing. That said I will take any constructive criticism and feedback to improve and get to a more confident space to post more frequently. Additionally, the following characters are property of @mastrmiscellaneous: Justin Colby Peters, Lucille Peters, and Clara Osta.
Summary: Ciel and his friends are attempting to devise a strategy to beat the reigning capture the flag MVPs: Percy and Annabeth. What will it take to surprise and trick the Camp’s veterans?
Word Count: 1,856
The night began like any other night at the end of the week at Camp Half Blood, a nice dinner with cabin mates, toast to the gods, and the occasional Ares or Hermes kid throwing a random chicken leg. Ciel was discussing the plans for capturing the flag after dinner was finished. He along with the members of Hephaestus, Apollo, Hades, Nemesis, Dioynasis, Hebe, Hecate, and Hestia cabin had made an allegiance in the hopes of beating the camp's strongest fighters. Granted, numbers were not on their side wouldn't give them any advantage but rather relying on their expertise and the power within their parent's domains was their ace. Ciel in the past two summers has become the head of the Hecate cabin but was still not used to his leadership role nor believe he was capable of the position. Though his siblings and cabin mates would argue otherwise, to them, their brother was a superior sorcerer and a capable fighter but it was his compassion that shattered the stigma of the children of Hecate. They couldn't do many of the things he could do but they never stop striving to be better, to them he was their paragon of what a hero could be. Now if they could win capture the flag then they'd get bragging rites for the next week and wouldn't have to clean stables. "So," Ciel began, "we know many of the big hitters are for this battle. Jackson, Chase, McClain, Stoles, and La Rue. Any suggestions?" Ciel glanced at the heads of his alliance. "We could distract Annabeth with a spider." Leo Valdez piped up with a smirk, pulling from his famous toolbelt an automaton of a spider. "I got enough for at least a dozen of Athena cabin. "That's lame," Lucille Peters chimed. "You didn't make them into grenades?" "Chiron checked me since last time my design burnt at least three campers from Aphrodite cabin eyebrows off!" Leo wasn't big on his younger half-sister giving him grief about his work. "Lucy, did you make them into grenades?" Ciel questioned as Lucille gave a cheeky grin. "Who the hell do you think I am?" "Language." Justin Peters, son of Apollo and older brother to Lucille reprimanded his sister but received an unkind gesture of her middle finger. "I'm telling Mom." "Can you focus? Grenades are fine but we have a big thing to worry about. Percy and Annabeth on the same team?" Clara Osta, daughter of Hades and member of the Guardians mentioned drawing everyone's focus back to the planning. "We hold them off or we overpower them." "Clara, you're more strategic than most of us. I'd defer to you on what the plan would be," Ciel spoke. He always felt that if he didn't have an answer he could rely on his friend's judgment and capacity to plan at the moment. "I'm the only one among us with superior enough skills to fight at least one of them." Clara began unveiling her plan for the plan of attack against the coalition that was shouting in the distance. The horn that Chiron held had yet to be blown so they had enough time to at least get into position. The war cry of campers began echoing through the forest as many campers charged from their starting locations on the battlefield that many of them have fought dozens upon dozens of times. Lucille and Leo took the southeast location of the creek between the mainline of the battlefield, both holding war hammers of varied sizes as they took on the first wave of cabin 6 campers. They along with their members of cabin 9 and assistance from cabin 7 pushed them into a tight fatal funnel with arrows and stink bombs. Those who were able to get through their funnel however were met with surprise attacks by cabin 20, stalling the vanguard from breaking through further into their territory by magical nets with a mix of cabin 12 using plants to grab members of cabins 4, 5, 10, 11, 14, 17, 19. With this advantage for the moment, the combined forces of members of Hephaestus, Apollo, Hades, Nemesis, Dioynasis, Hebe, Hecate, and Hestia were able to disarm and knock out a number of their opponents. With a mixed collection of cries from a number of these campers of surprise and frustration escaped some of these campers. Many even shouted in curses like Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares, who was able to escape her binds and began cutting the vines and nets of her comrades. "Oh, you think this is cute?!" Clarisse called out into the forest. "You think a cowardly trick like this will keep us from victory?!" "Well, yeah." Justin from the top of a tree about a few yards away said as he knocked an arrow toward the feared daughter of Ares. "Your group isn't all that smart if you're leading the charge, La Rue." The blond boy grinned as he kept shooting several arrows at many of his adversaries. "Plus, you got something behind you!" "What?!" Clarisse turned around expecting to be attacked from behind her but was shocked no one was there and the fact that all the nets and binds holding her comrades, and seemed to disappear except for a few. "How- fucking cabin 20!" Cabin 20 as a collective had set a large illusion up to a certain point past their defensive position so that the majority of their forces could protect their flag. All the opponents that their enemies believed they fought were each other while twisted, was a valuable trick for a one-time use. As Clarisse rallied her companions, a separate party of campers made to sneak past the enemy's line to meet against two of the Seven. Percy and Annabeth were mere feet away from crossing their coalition territory into the opposing campers' territory but were blocked off by two campers. Ciel and Clara both with their weapons drawn and ready to engage the legendary Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. "Just you two?" Percy questioned in a curious tone. "Yep, just us," Ciel said as he spun his butterfly swords. "Granted, this was really the only thing I could think of." "You two are pretty cocky if you think you can handle us. Brave, but cocky," Annabeth said as she readied her fighting stance. "Óla eínai díkaia ston érota kai ston pólemo," Clara exclaimed before rushing in towards Percy while Ciel covered her flank by running towards Annabeth. The battle began and the cries of their mettle and blades rang along the creek shore. Ciel made to get in close with his butterfly swords by sliding and parrying Annabeth's counter-assault. The pair block each other strikes in a dance of close quarters that seemed to be its own tornado that no one foolish enough would jump into the current fray. Ciel reversed his grip on his butterfly swords in a reverse grip, crossing his arms in a parallel manner after briefly disengaging Annabeth. "You've gotten good," Annabeth commented, "though I think you're weaker than me." "Maybe, though I know my strengths and know not to bark, unlike a certain Daughter of Athena." Ciel remembered his brief with his fellow team captains on how to use the know failures of his betters like Annabeth. Ciel returned to his melee while goading Annabeth on how her skill wasn't all that. Her skills with a dagger and her bone sword were not as great as she believed. While he wasn't good at this, Ciel needed to cause Annabeth to lose focus enough for the next part of his battle plan. Annabeth kept pushing on Ciel, despite their height difference the young child of Hecate was superior and his movements were not weighed by his mass but he was swift. Annabeth notices his footwork and means of countering her, all close and considerate of his vital points, never overreaching but keeping his timing mixed enough to not seem impractical. She had to admit he had grown from the shy boy who joined them at the worse point in the history of the camp. "You've gotten better," Annabeth commented as slipped under Ciel's guard swinging in an uppercut motion to his helmet and the tip of her knife missing his left eye. "You aren't quick like me, Silverstein." "You talk too much," Ciel said as he dropped into a leg sweep before causing the Daughter of Aphrodite to fall on her back. "Here's a gift." Ciel snapped his finger as a large tarantula landed on top of Annabeth's breastplate causing the girl to wail louder than any monster in the nearest hundred miles around the camp. Annabeth began to swipe at the furry eight-legged devil that her siblings have been infamous for having a large disdain. Though the eight-legged demon just kept climbing around her and hissing a storm to her greater surprise and fear a second tarantula appeared by her feet circling her. As cruel as it seemed, overstimulating a demigod and applying their innate fears from their godly parents was a means to dominate the battlefield because; if one of your greatest leaders is indisposed then you can keep pulling the threads of their plans and destroy their seams. Though the chaos, Ciel created was about to be thwarted by the Hero of Olympus: Percy Jackson. "Dude, not cool!" Percy shouted as he pushed past Clara feinting hitting her with his sword in order to charge at Ciel like a minotaur fresh out of Tartarus. "That was dirty!" Shouting, Percy came within Ciel's guard, too close for Percy to properly use Riptide but enough room for Ciel who wasn't just some magician because of his mother's blood but skilled at close-quarters, especially with his Baat Jaam Do (butterfly swords) called Proángelos (or Harbinger). Ciel used the quillon, his sword guard hook in order to trap Percy's sword hand before twisting the son of Poseidon's wrist in an unorthodox manner in order to cause discomfort. The brief pain was an opening one couldn't get so easily on the Hero of Olympus, not unless you were willing to play dirty. "Ow ow ow, OW! Fuck!" Percy barked out before slamming his head into Ciel's own causing him to lessen the pressure on his wrist. "Dude, what gives?! First, spiders on Annabeth, and now you try to break my wrist?" "I plan on winning this time, HA!" Ciel reversed the grips of Harbinger so their knuckle-bow covered the son of Hecate's hand like a set of knuckledusters before bellowing a mighty as he threw a fist at Percy who attempted to dodge only to be surprised by the brief indigo holographic of a giant hand with a set of similar knuckledusters coating the hand as well slamming into Percy at a high velocity that sent him tumbling into the river. "Y-you clever, little, son of a...." before Jackson could think of finishing that sentence the sound of Chiron's conch shell blew signaling the end of the game of capture the flag. In the far distance, Chiron had announced that Ciel's team had just one-up them and won. "Bitch."

what are 8,9&10 about? especially the Chtonin&Adoption one, also i love some of your WIP titles
“I’m not Chthonic STOP TRYING TO ADOPT MY KIDS” is Hades not being able to have kids, so forcibly adopting all other chthonic Gods kids, and well, a lot can... loosely be considered chthonic... many do not consent to this. It’s a story where Poseidon is doing everything in his power to keep Percy from going to the underworld because Hades is gonna try to steal him lmao.
“Custody Battle: Luke’s time to run for the hills they won’t stop leave me alone-” Hades and Hermes are fighting over custody of Luke and he doesn’t betray them for Kronos because he’s trying to escape the overbearing Gods wanting to parent him.
“Getting cut to tiny pieces really gave me a better perspective” is Kronos coming back and instead of being evil he just wants to dote on his kids and grandkids, he’s really got a better perspective thanks to being cut up <3
And thanks! Glad you like them lol.

I'm having a bad case of writer's block which means that my project on analyzing what kind of characters some of the more important mythological figures could be if introduced to Kid Icarus is currently on halt - but while waiting for the block to end, I thought it would be funny to post some of the more ridiculous notes and stuff I've written:
A child plot device who could easily be removed from the story and nothing of value would be lost VS Aphrodite's stolen mirror VS Palutena's polished bronze shield
Values dissonance is one hell of a drug and past is another country, to put it simply
I ranted because Divinepedia doesn't know what an Aegis is
I ranted over syncretism because it made things so unnecessary hard
I ranted over the word demigod because the definition of it isn't consistent
"There are many things that can be deciphered by using zodiac weapons and powers..."
I noted that stuff like venatio, gladiator fights and damnatio ad bestias are probably things in this universe, which is funny in a morbid kind of way - Magnus and Gaol would probably participate in those while Pit has a heart attack in the background
Purely educational Achilles-bashing
Purely educational Odysseus-bashing
Purely educational Athena-bashing in regards of her actions during the Trojan war
"There's no way to be optimistic about that!"
Some talk about Epimenides paradox, Cretan claims about a tomb of Zeus and angry mainlanders
A note about how Arcadia is a weird, weird place
"Moral of the story - don’t mess with Demeter"
More Achilles-bashing
A bad joke of Tartarus being more fertile place than Hades because Tartarus has five kids with two different goddesses
"And then there's Ocnus. No one knows why he's in Tartarus"
Even more Achilles-bashing
"Charon, Minos, Rhadamanthus, Aeacus, Hypnos, Hecate and others must've went on a strike because where else could they be if they're not in home"
I brought up the fact that Hypnos is married shortly after talking about Sisyphus just because I wanted to make fun of Thanatos
Talking of the possibility of Palutena being in Clotho-imposed celibacy
Daily reminder that in Greco-Roman mythology Pegasus isn't a species but a proper noun
"This story is so overblown it hurts!"
Daily reminder that gods don't have blood but ichor
"Aphrodite isn't allowed to have things in this franchise and she hasn't even been formally introduced!"
Life and times of Vestal virgins because when mythology doesn't have anything to offer then history must have
Hermes and Peitho's combined mission - to scam you out of your money, either the good way or the bad way
Hey, remember that one time Artemis told a man to kill his daughter if he wanted to set the sails?
"I don’t really get this version, truth to be told"
Hey, remember those two times Apollo almost got himself thrown to Tartarus?
"Considering how about 6-12 year-olds Castor and Pollux led a siege against Athens, Parthenopaeus and Hippolytus both died presumably around the age of 15 or younger by rather violent means, Neoptolemus was already a war criminal when he was around 12 and his own young son was beheaded on his own altar with him being unable to do anything, I say Apollo’s doing a pretty bad job on that last one"
"This naturally displeased Hades, who firmly believed that what was dead should stay dead and he went to Zeus to complain about this. Zeus thought of the situation and then came to a realization that if Asclepius managed to teach this skill to other people, they’d have a massive problem on their hands and it can’t be allowed to happen. The logical course of action was to of course kill Asclepius"
"However, Laomedon was a textbook jackass"
"And that’s why it’s called the Milky Way. Gross"
"And because I’m writing this shortly after replaying Pokemon B/W, I must inform you all that Anthea (Blossom) is one of Hera’s epithets and European verbenas are also known as Juno’s tears"
Comparing Poseidon from mythology proper to his Mycenaean counterpart is just sad because my god, what else would you call that but serious nerfing
Big part of Poseidon's sector is just me saying that he's a bad dad and his kids come off either as complete idiots or degenerates
Some more Laomedon-bashing because what the heck was he thinking when he threatened Poseidon and Apollo
Athenian Ego™
"So Atlantis is pretty much an antithesis of a perfect society, a concept that’s discussed more in Republic and the lesson here is that being consumed by hubris in the search of luxury only leads to ruin - not that we care about that"
The urge to write bad joke about Byleth being dollar-store Dionysus rises
"So yeah, Bacchus and Proserpina were originally a thing and it changed because of Greek influence. Prior to their identification with Dionysus and Persephone, neither of them had any connections to Underworld"
"Pre-Socratic philosopher Heraclitus even declared that when it came to their essence, Dionysus and Hades were the same god"
"Practically the only reason why I remember Dionysus even has children is because of all the bad humor that comes with the possibility of him being Deianira’s father"
"Baubo lifted her skirt up and revealed Iacchus, who ran into his mother’s arms. This made Demeter laugh, and so she accepted the food and drink that was given to her"
"Obviously he came to the city disguised as a mortal, brainwashed all the women and turned them into Maeneids, caused an earthquake, set a palace on fire, gleefully watched when his worshipers teared Thebes’ king to pieces and then gave an ominous warning to his maternal grandparents. It’s not quite an reset bomb, but the sheer amount of damage caused to Thebes is more than likely enough to make Viridi proud"
Because of plebeians were also called plebs, it means that Dionysus could easily say that plebs love him and that mental image gave me physic damage
Dionysus and Persephone would make a pretty great baddie duo now when I'm thinking of it
A note about how Persephone's different epithets might as well be different people
"Demeter sets a baby on fire which is supposed to make him immortal if you’re wondering"
"Which would make Ares Orpheus’ grandfather"
A surprisingly sweet tale about Ares and a baby
"What this means is that characters like Marth and Morgan at least in Japanese from Fire Emblem and Mario were named in honor of the same god Mark Anthony and Marcus Aurelius were, at least from a certain point of view"
The world is full of cheeky astronomers because there's multiple places on planet Mars named after Elysium and only on Mars
"Because just what kind of self-respecting enemy would take you seriously if you have a face of an angel?"
"I guess there’s just something hilarious about how this ancient Greek god shares a trait with Meta Knight of all characters"
I talk of the possibility of Ares' being Pit's dad. I really like it and need someone to geek more about because my goodness, so much potential! And none of it features Ares a villain because I'm not in the mood for character assassination! Some stuff does have him as more antagonistic, but still! I want to gush about dad!
The mental image of Phobos, Deimos and Nike looking at Pit and telling him to come back once he has fought Typhon because according to Dionysiaca, these three along with Zeus, Ares and Enyo did indeed fight against Typhon
"Well, true name of the morning star is Venus but she’s Aphrodite’s Roman equivalent"
"Naturally all of this was used by people as a way to climb up the political ladder, as Julio-Claudian dynasty claimed to descend from her through Aeneas. You can even trace the ancestry of multiple pseudo-historical European figures all the way back to Aphrodite! Some notable examples of this include Blaiddyd, Leir of Britain, Goneril, Regan and Cordelia of Britain, who’re all described in Historia Regum Britanniae as descendants of Aeneas. Then there’s sources such as Cypria saying that Helen is Nemesis’ daughter with Zeus… So in a a quest to return Nemesis’ daughter back home, there was a massacre and Blaiddyd, Goneril, Regan and Cordelia’s ancestors, who’re descendants of a goddess by the way, were survivors of said massacre… This is why research matters, folks. Damn you Fire Emblem"
"Just like being loved by Apollo gives you huge death flags, being hated by Aphrodite will always make you suffer in one way or another"
Overly detailed exposition of that one time Aphrodite tried to kill a pregnant woman
It's hard to write about Aeneid while resisting the urge to put a DMC-joke there somewhere
"I personally prefer the name Volupta, it rhymes much more nicer with rest of the family"
"“The world’s going to end and I’m going to stop it because live on it” isn’t what I’d consider personal reason"
