Clem really liked you and your kid!

You where like a younger version of lee in her eyes, therefore she’s trusts you a lot more!

If your kid is more like duck then she’ll be nice but won’t talk to them as much :p

However if they’re more like her in the sense that they’re more relaxed or quite then she loves hanging out with them!

She’ll always draw you two pictures!

And if you ever needed a brake to just relax she’d drag your kid of to go and draw with her!

He’s a pretty serious, grumpy guy and he’s super intimidating so your kid (and you) probably tried to avoid him at first

However even if he didn’t show it he would look out for you kid!

She’d make sure your child (and if they had enough you) had some food when it came time to ration food

Also if yer child has longer hair you can bet she’d give them some hair bobbles! :D

She also always made small talk to your child she wanted to make sure that they where as happy as they could be in an apocalypse

She would also be there if you needed advice or to vent, her advice can be a bit honest and sometimes hard to hear but it’s pretty helpful tbh!

His man, like Carley, was never really good with kids

He would always back you up tho and he would always be there if you wanted someone to talk too

He would do anything in his power to make you and your kid feel safe!

“Lark? What’re you doing here?”

Nick’s standing in the open doorway of his new apartment. He’s wearing black shorts and a loose grey tank, both splattered with dark red paint that could be mistaken for blood from some distance.

“Uh.. sparrow told me you were painting your apartment and I figured- do you want some help?”

“Yes.”

Nick opens the door wider and steps back to let Lark in. Splattered on the walls in uneven brush strokes are streaks of the same red paint on his clothing. The color’s dripping from the walls onto the floor.

“Nicky, what the hell is this?”

Nick’s face goes red and he scratches at the back of his head. “I… can’t paint. You know that.”

“Nick, this is an absolute disaster- were you seriously not planning to get anyone to help you?” Lark looks at him incredulously.

“I thought I could do it! And you’re here anyway!”

“Luckily for you,” Lark grumbles, picking up one of the abandoned paint brushes on the floor “let’s get started.”

Nick picks up the second brush and follows Lark’s lead, bringing the brush down in even strokes along the walls. They’re finished with the first in half the time it would have taken Nick, and Lark puts his brush down with a sigh, running a paint-covered hand through his hair and smearing the color into the brown strands. Nick laughs and Lark looks at him questioningly.

“What?”

“Nothing- just, your hair.”

“What’s wrong with my hair?”

“You’ve got paint in it, see?” The demon brushes his hand through Lark’s hair and purposefully smudges the paint even more. Lark lets out an outraged noise and picks up his brush, flinging the droplets of paint at Nick, who raises his arms in front of his face to protect himself.

“Oh you are so on.”

The two begin to wrestle, the paint staining their skin and clothes until, panting, Lark collapses on the floor. Nick pins him down with one hand, sitting on his legs to keep him from moving.

“So you admit I win?”

“Fine, you little shit,” Lark pushes Nick’s hand off of his chest and leans up to kiss him. Nick happily melts into the kiss and lowers the two of them down until they’re parallel with the floor, Nick’s  arm wrapped around Lark’s waist.

“Got you,” Lark whispers into Nick’s ear and his pulls his hand from the demon’s face. Nick touches his cheek and grins when his hand comes away red.

“How dare you,” he says playfully, and stands up. Lark makes a noise of protest, but Nick just sticks his tongue out and heads towards the bathroom to wash the paint off. When he gets back, Lark’s doodling something in pink on the base of the wall, and Nick crouches next to him to watch. The moment Lark sees him he turns bright red and smudges the paint.

“No I wanna see! What were you drawing?”

“Nothing!” Lark says hurriedly. Nick narrows his eyes but changes the topic.

“Where’d you learn to paint anyway?” Nick asks, sitting against the wall to look at Lark.

“Art therapy. Mercedes signed me up for it a few years ago.”

Nick lets out a noise of contentment and the two sit in silence for a little longer until Lark leans over and presses his lips to Nick’s again, and then Nick’s up against the wall as the paint from Lark’s hand bleeds into his shirt.

Below them, just barely visible is a couple of doodled flowers, with N+L written in pink.

I’m not entirely sure WHY, but for the past two or three days I’ve been getting like,,,, M A D imposter syndrome over people complimenting my art????? Which is wild cuz I have N E V ER had imposter syndrome- I’ve ALWAYS been really really good with receiving compliments!!!!! And idk if it’s just cuz I’ve been under some stress or what but just super recently I’ve had a hard time taking them!!!!

Like I’ve actually had both friends and a few totally random people come up to me and tell me that they consider me as kind of the face of the Serennedy community on tumblr and I WANNA be giddy about that and take it in stride but like. For some reason it’s just made me feel kinda uncomfortable,,,,,????? When I think otherwise I WOULD have taken the compliment if you’d said that to me like a week or so ago????????

Idk ever since my birthday when I had a ton of people I’ve never interacted with send me happy birthday messages and compliment my art it kinda made me realise that like. Oh. People RECOGNISE me on here. People know who I am. And thats,,,,,,,,, honestly kind of scary to think about

BBC Ghosts as sharks part 1

In time line order of course

Robin: now the obvious awnser is Greenland shark so Greenland shark because they are the oldest living shark and also they are close relatives of dogfish and he sometimes acts like a dog

Humphrey: I am thinking angle sharks because they kind of hide away ehich he unintentionally dose with him being a head qnd a body separate (sometimes intentional) and also he js really nice so the name fits but

Mary: I had like 50 different opinions for her but I learnt there’s a shark called the nervous shark so I’m so sorry Mary but she’s getting that

Kitty: obviously !! A lemon shark they are always looking like they are smiling which she is and also they choose there favourite diver and they go to it every time and get jealous if other sharks go over which is kitty with Alison

Thomas: I'm trying to think of a dramatic shark goblin sharks certainly look dramatic they are described as mysterious and unique which he is sort of but was also thinking dusky shark because they travelled so so far to have there baby's qnd that that now metophore he dose so much love letters and poems for people he is In love with so yk that's a bit of a stretch but sharks just armt poets I love both the options so I’ll do both or either

Fanny/lady button: I'm thinking great white I know they are called great white but they have gray and she was the grey lady so yeah also the great white shark is one of them kind of misunderstood guys like I think she is she seems like she's just being horrible for no reason but she's not she's also a person with feelings and all that (im mot saying great white sharks can't be dangerous they can be careful but they are not visous beasts who want to hurt people just cause either)

The Caption: Hammerhead shark.. major spoilers for season 5 make sure you have seen all sesone 5 before you read please! hammerhead sharks can't handle any stress they may die neither can he he get stress alot and is not good with it he died from a stress induced heart attack so hammer head (Sorry)

Pat: Nurse shark: nurse sharks are one of the more friendly sharks and he’s very very friendly they are just cool little guys floating around having a good time, the also usually in groups and he loves his family and his ghosts family also for being a scout leader you do need some nurse like skills like first aid CPR so I think the name fits

Julian: so I wasn't sure for him and I asked someone and they said a carpet shark because they are ugly and bottem feeders which I don’t think they are ugly but yeah the bottem feeder thing is a different thing in sharks the it is in positions obviously but the words the same so I’m going to give him a ornate wobbegong.

Just wanted to say I LOVED your drawing for Earl x Timekeeper and tbh i was kinda shocked I wasnt the only person in existence who shipped the two of em HAHAUHEUHAHB- (To be fair, I managed to convinced my friends that “TEATIME IS CANON U GUYS”)(I call the ship teatime bc yk, tea, earl, time, timekeeper)(I’ll see myself out now-) anyway I checked out your blog and your stuffs pretty cool! I will watch you with great interest 👀 With that outta the way, I was wondering if you had any hcs/ideas for the family dynamic between Earl, TK and Chess Choco would be?

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!! HELLO!!

Would you believe it if I also heard Earl Grey x Timekeper from someone else? So yeah! Two more people actually ship this ship!

Also TeaTime is a wonderful ship name for them! I already have a ship that is also called tea time so- rats- Glad you like my blog!!

Aight! So some head canons, because I have a good handful of these ideas! For clarification, TK = Time Keeper, and will be using primarily She/Her pronouns for the sake of clarification! Just pronouns getting scrambled together is confusing.

-Time keeper definitely takes Earl Grey to other timelines/alternate universe's for dates! Like the ones that appear in her skill? Yeah, that is absolutely a spot for dates.

-For their primary dynamic: I like to think TK is absolutely lunatic, total nutcase, absolutely fun and wild constantly. With Earl grey being calm and collected, dunno! Their dynamic fits together nicely in my head.

-Tall TK, absolutely towers over Earl Grey, A silly head canon I have is that TK will occasionally scoop up Earl Grey and spin him around while holding hims bridal style, with him giggling and cleaning his fogged up glasses saying, "Oh goodness" over and over while they both laugh because they're ADORABLE!

-With the Chess Choco twins, I can see TK allowing them to run amok in the TBD, the both of them are decently well behaved and clearly are polite if not a bit cheeky. They often bother TK the most with Earl Grey helped some of the other departments with management and organization.

-They challenge TK to a chess match all the time, often losing against the time legendary. Earl Grey had to convince her to loosen up a bit, TK did it once and the kids were smiling and rubbing it in for a good week. TK still beats them for the most part, but does enjoy seeing them happy.

-Bit chaotic as one whole family unit, even more wild from an outsiders perspective looking in. A sort of acceptance I have for them is that Earl Grey and the Chess Choco twins just sort of accept TK is an all powerful being of possibly chaos if they felt like it. So when people ask they just nod and go yeah, "Yeah, that's Time keeper alright!" And then just go back to eating their ice cream from their day out.

-Final one for the road! Tk is primarily made out machinery, having most of their limbs made up of cogs and gears, Earl Grey is somewhat experienced with the maintenance and upkeep of her kind of assembly so he fixes up the cogs for her occasionally. They always talk about their respective days when this happens, just calming and serene and nice!

Hope you liked these head canons of mine, and glad to see someone else who ships the same Rarepair as me!!!

hi! finally posted this, i made it like a week ago. anyway, i think i would have some extra powers, as a treat.

first of all, enhanced spidey sense. i don’t only perceive near danger but FUTURE danger as well. basically i get visions, premonitions, prophecies, whatever you wanna call them. they are always about danger and there IS a way to change them. i dont know how that would work with time and space continuum and all those complicated things, but who wants logic, boring!! (i’ll solve the plot hole soon, dw 😭🛐) (if any of y’all have any idea how to solve it, pls tell me)

i would be able to break the 4th wall cuz i constantly do irl anyway,, sometimes life follows a specific storytelling pattern and has very notorious plot armor and that makes me think “huh… weird”

i would also have sensitive senses, and that includes night vision! (i already have sensitive hearing irl and it’s a nightmare! good luck void-crawler). i could also “change” my appearance? i would not physically change it, but i would release some kind of chemicals or stuff that would make people see other thing. this is inspired by the ant mimicry spiders do. spiders DO change physically, but i think mine would be just psychologically. idk, i thought that would be cool :P

the design of my spidey suit is inspired by, spidey of course, but also by deadpool’s suit. cuz i’m obsessed with both of them atm, so had to add that to my story 👍 AND IT WILL MAKE SENSE STORY WISE MUAHAHAHA! cant wait to tell y’all the backstory.

(Not so) important message for both the GTA fandom and the CC fandom

So tomorrow I’m returning to my hometown, which means I’ll gain access to my drawing pad and be able to draw digitally again.

Now I have a silly idea, and that is to draw women from both the GTA and the CC games (canonical characters only tho). I ain’t no sexist or feminist or whatever, nor I hate men or anything, I’m just not good at drawing them, yk? Plus, portraying women is way easier for me since, well, I am one myself haha

Now, there obviously won’t be an individual drawing for every single character. My plan is to just doodle multiple characters on a big sheet (interacting with each other or not, it depends) for the funnies :3

Also, I’ll most probably do a post with the GTA women first, and with the CC ones afterwards. And I think this goes without saying, but it’ll take some time for me to draw these.

I know most (if not all) of the GTA women and how they behave and all, but when it comes to CC, I only know about the ones from S1 (but not from the Airport Zone since I stopped playing the game before reaching it), so expect some inaccuracy when it comes to ones from other seasons.

If you genuinely wanna request, just comment (on this post I mean) the name of the woman you want me to draw, the series that’s from and the game (GTA)/season (CC) it appears in (so it would be easier for me to find them).

If this plan actually works, I might do the same with male characters, but I don’t promise anything tho (since the men I draw look rlly goofy and all).

Those two would absolutely have magic stuff. I’m 100% leaning into fairy Ben trapped in the reflection of an enchanted lake, then trapped in mirrors that sally enchants. I’m kinda envisioning little sally in a big witch hat doing little spells to enchant mirrors for Ben to move through so he isn’t trapped in one little area… maybe sally got caught practicing witchcraft when she was alive and that’s why she’s a ghost now idk… something sad for the both of them. u should rant a little abt the 'will has powers thing' bc im a little confused LMAO

of course i will :)) anything to info dump lmao

okay so this might be a lot but- stay with me here please— (and ofc ask questions or add on to anything 😭😭)

one of the main things pointing to will having powers is basically a lot of the shit that he did in season one, more specifically how he was able to do it.

some things he was able to do includes: controlling individual lights, speaking to joyce through the phone + walls (?? ig idk how else to word it), appear in joyce’s dreams/a sort of apparition of him appears (this one is def more theoretical, i’ll get to it in a minute), and the reason why he was even taken in the first place (or at least my theory as to why).

first off: while, yes, in season 4 vol. 1 when the teens are stuck in the upside down, they found a way to talk to people in the (for better lack of words) right side up through the lights, it doesn’t completely translate to what will had done so previously. as we know, the upside down is stuck on the day that will went missing, so everything is how it was on that day in the upside down (except well— more decayed and covered in vibes but- whatever yk). so, this would mean no alphabet wall. there would be no way for will to know that was there. and let’s say that will managed to figure out what his mom was trying to do somehow, the christmas lights were never turned on in the first place. the majority of them were never turned on. in vol. 1 we see how the lights need to be turned on and source in the right place in order to communicate through them. this… doesn’t really make sense in terms of will talking to joyce through the lights. there was also this post i made that touched on the scene with the lights in wills room flashing in a circle that directly parallels the scene in s4.

another thing with the communication between worlds that doesn’t add up comparing the teens to will in s1 is how joyce was able to actually hear will. somehow he had called her, and joyce was able to hear him breathing through the phone until (supposedly) the demagorgan came and.. something happened to will. (i’m not sure if i’m just not remembering correctly or if it was never clarified what happened then, so.. yeah). anyways, the teens were not able to vocally speak to the kids in the right side up, and seemed to not be able to use any electronic things while in the upside down.

something else i find interesting and hope is touched on in vol. 2 is joyce literally ripping the wall down and seeing will in the upside down (before he ran away and she broke the wall down with an axe). like— how the fuck? was will making a gate somehow? or was it the demogorgan?? either way, it wouldn’t make sense (unless… a certain boy had certain abilities 🤔). adding on, there is a scene where will seems to appear in joyce’s dream/vision, before it’s shown to actually be johnathan. this is just a small detail, but it sort of reminds me of whenever people are able to see el when she’s in the black room/using her powers. so… hm…

finally, there’s the biggest question about will: why was he taken in the first place?

there is a big theory going around (that i believe in) that it was vecna, rather than the demogorgan, that took will back in season 1. this could explain why he wasn’t killed right away like barb, and why he was targeted even though he wasn’t bleeding. the figure also stalked him down, all the way from the wheeler’s house to his shed. that’s not normal behavior for a demogorgan.

so… why did he target will? of course my theory is: will has powers. but rather than be made to be born with powers, like el and the others, he was born like henry creel.

there are many parallels between henry and will. they’ve both been described as being “sensitive kids,” they both have an interest in drawing, they both don’t fit in the ‘societal norm,’ etc etc. we don’t know how henry (aka 001) has his powers, but i theorize that he was somehow born with them. and however he was somehow born with them is the same way will ‘acquired his.’

a foreshadowing of this lowkey comes from season 1 when dustin is talking about how el has powers.

“So, do you think Eleven was born with her powers like the X-Men or do you think she acquired them, like Green Lantern?”

now, eleven was technically born with powers, but they were ‘acquired’ by experiments trying to replicate henry’s, not naturally born.

so, why did vecna take will? it could be something similar to him trying to make eleven join him (before she.. yk.. sent him to the upside down). or it could be something else entirely. but i do believe it does have something to do with will having powers (and also his trauma and personality could play a factor into it too).

so.. yeah, that’s why i’m a will byers has powers truther. again, most of this is theoretical, so probs take everything (especially stuff towards the end) with a grain of salt. hopefully we get answers during s4 vol.2!!! i dont know which interview this was said, but there has been talk that why will was taken first being address in vol.2 so fingers crossed iggg 🤞🤞🤞

Ooooo amazing question!! Although a very long one to answer haha…

I’m honestly not too sure how to sort this so I’ll just put the stuff you mentioned here rather than a whole jumble of tips

ANATOMY

yeah I’ll be straight up this still isn’t my strongest point soooo- I can only suggest looking at as many references as you can, try to keep bodily proportions the same in different sketches of the same character to get a more realistic look at ‘em

I usually keep a base shape of a human head in mind when applying it to different species

Of course this rule doesn’t always need to apply

POSING

just added this here for funsies, POSING. You really want to have a fluid pose when creating a piece, the best way to do this is by using the line of action. The line of action is essentially the guideline for how your drawing is going to flow, you can find a ton of resources online if you wanna dig deeper into that topic. I also use Line-Of-Action.com to find references, pretty good site.

CHARACTER DESIGN

Now this is the one that got me hella excited- this has to be my favorite thing to do when making a new story. I’ll just use Allen for my example.

For every character I make I want there to be a good sense of personality in their design, especially the face. You need to be able to tell what type of personality a character has by just looking at them wether it be from expression, clothing choice, body language, etc… The more exaggerated/expressive the design is, the better

I definitely put a lot of emphasis on his eyes when designing him, he is an owl after all and I wanted to be able to convey that. I also liked having the irony of also having his eyes usually be slits/half closed to further present a sort of “oh I’m totally not evil haha” look, but also being able to have the be super huge when needed to convey more emotion. His design is based both on Asa Sweet from Lackadaisy and Stolas from helluva boss (more so Asa). It’s good to find inspiration for characters but just remember to make sure they aren’t a carbon copy yk, that’d be mean. He has definitely changed over the years I mean just-

HI IGGY!! :) :) :) tysm; i haven't actually looked through most of these yet so I should do that first XD. Numbers are from here

4- (story idea I haven't written yet)

Ok so I have started this one but then decided I hated it so it's mulling on the back burner until I have more energy to rehash it out for better stuff is part of The Doctor and The Butler storyarc(?world?) at this point, but basically the robins all take the Doc on a Proper Road Trip and it All Goes To Chaos(tm) because the Doctor Does Not Do RoadTrips in the slightest because he just pops in and out of time on a whim and doesn't seem to do great in small spaces for more than 15 minutes (basing this on the cube episode in the Matt Smith Era). It'd be good but it needs a certain... vibe yk? haven't gotten there.

15- (favorite weather for writing). Not a weather, but I can only write when it's dark outside bc then I don't feel about about not doing homework/other things. Rain is also good tho.

27- (Favorite part of writing process). The part in Brainstorming where it all starts coming together and you're just squealing like your twelve and some cool people just invited you to hangout with them, and then you start writing and everything goes smoothly.

30- (Share a fic you're proud of)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I don't have any full-length WIP done for you to look at but I think I have some assignments (checks through old google documents) lmao no what assignments (shoves them all into the fireplace). Let me give you the beginning of one of my current WIPS that im really proud of currently even if I've been writing and rewriting it so many times.

It wasn’t even close to the moonset when hands and voices raised them from sleep. “Misha, Rose. On your feet. It’s your turn now.”  “Ugh, just kill me now,” Rose muttered as she and Misha both sat up blearily. “Be quicker and easier.” “That’s the coward’s way out. Also, way too expensive.” Misha stood up and rubbed her eyes. “How much fest prep do we gotta do still, Dani?” She watched as the freckled elf started climbing to the top bunk.  Daeneryl flopped down on her mattress, clutching a fat feather pillow, with a yawn. “Just drinks, but those are last minute.”  “Oh, and be careful how you tread around the old man today.” Fayley peeled off her slippers from her feet as Misha and Rose got dressed into their outfits for the day. “Got a new run of trash gryphons. Damn pests.” “Thought Sammy took care of all that?” Rose sighed as she pulled a brush from the vanity table to untangle a sea of unruly curly hair. Starting from the bottom, she winced every time she had to pull it through to the end.  “He was supposed to. Says he did his whole ‘pied piper act’ which he did, but apparently these are a different breed.” Dani sighed. “Nick’s looking into wizard enchantments.”  Eventually, Rose gave it up and threw it all up in a slicked-back ponytail, held in place with an assortment of ribbons and pins. “One day, I swear, I’m just going to take a knife to this and hack it off.” “You’ve been saying that for five years,” Dani laughed. “I’ll believe it when I see it.” “Watch me.” Rose grimaced. Misha shook her head silently as she braided the front sections of her hair and tied it back with a bright orange ribbon that matched her flowing skirt. It was one of her favorites because it made her stand out in a crowd that mostly wore shades of brown and black for practicality. She slipped into her boots and crouched down, waiting for Rose.

Rose caught sight of her and rolled her eyes. “You’re asking for it. Fayley, your count.”  There was a muffled “Go” and fingers interweaved the laces with their corresponding hooks. They looked up when they were finished, approximately the exact same time. “Call that one a draw, I suppose.” Rose shrugged. “Come on, let’s get some food before we have to deal with life.”
