Sometimes it seems like people don't want to see that Will is also a cringefail loser and want to turn him into this super cool guy that he canonically isn't (I say that with all the love in the world).
Will got up early, put on a funny lilac wizard costume and put on some medieval mood music to play dnd with his friends.
He hears the sound of a computer on a phone and the first thing he thinks of is a movie of a game.
He made a painting to his best friend/boy he likes with his characters dressed in dnd costumes fighting with a dragon and put a heart and a crown on this boy's shield and the best part? Mike fucking love the painting.
I usually don't care about a character's fanon or hcs but this really affects certain people's view of canon Will as well.
For example, remember when the calendar with the character quotes came out before vol.2 and we saw the line "without a heart, we'd all fall apart" and everyone was saying things like "So Will is going to get high, right? because no way is he seriously saying that", "that's too cringe, Will would never say that"
Well surprise, he would and he did, because he's 14, nerdy, and head over heels in love.
And I love that about him, even if it is too "cringe." Will is still cool even though he doesn't fall within the parameters of what is "cool"!

I don't know much about Bart, but your art of him is always so cute I just have to love him 🥺 There's something so hilarious and chaotic about the way you draw him and his hair 🤭
Thank you so much! I love (drawing) Bart, he’s easily one of my all time favorite DC characters
I base my depiction of Bart mainly on his YJ and Solo-Run appearance, where he is indeed very chaotic and has very fluffy hair
Here are some comic panels serving as examples:

since i have a lot of new followers from outside the fandom and this continues to be a constant topic of conversation i’d just like to remind everyone that im not writing about underage 16 year olds im writing about fully grown adult men who, in an alternate timeline (omg!), are college students.
(lorenzo zurzolo, benjamin wadsworth, christian coulson [who was literally 23 in COS might i add], louis partridge etc etc etc are all grown ass adults irl. that is how i see&write them.)

Every now and then, as a long-time Mythology Nerd, I find myself wondering which of the Gemini twins is which. Which twin is Castor; confident, scrappy, crawled out of the afterlife through brotherly love - and which one is Pollux; loyal, strong, persistent enough to gain a favour from Zeus and split his immortality with his brother.
And I don't know if the myth is even relevant to the AU at all, but the fact that they're both Gemini - both being Castor and Pollux, both fiercely loyal and protective, both so dedicated to each other's well-being that they forsake their own - absolutely shatters my little nerd heart constantly. I love them? I'm going to cry? They deserve the world?
Like... They're both little gremlin children and they both care about each other so so much and they'd both make a deal with God for the other in a heartbeat.
And that just??? Means so much to me. And I love this AU so very much.
Anyway this has been the Mythology Nerd Hour, thank you for hosting my TED talk.
Hiccups. Points. YEAH. YES. EXACTLY,,, I LOVE THIS THIS IS A GOOD TAKE,,,

i hope ruby gets a well-that’s-alright-then-style notdeath. on the one hand it will make haters mad because oh no not another companion with an impermanent end (and i like to see haters mad) on the other it would require creativity to depict this in a new way + i love all the implications i love the dark fairytale quality of these companion exits i love my un-undead schrodinger’s women
with the way the legend of ruby sunday is titled… legends aren’t usually told about living people. legends are stories of the bygone past, of an age long since over, fictionalised and overgrown with folklore like barnacles sticking to an abandoned shell. there is such a thing as a living legend, but they’re exceedingly rare. the unmistakeable raven’s call in the 73 yards teaser, the trailer’s cut to fifteen crying alone after promising to cherry he’d protect her daughter… the foreshadowing is clear as day…
and yet. there’s one massive HOWEVER. ruby appears in s15: millie’s been spotted on set filming it. which leads me to believe — the doctor isn’t one to take the time travel route and revisit companions that in his future are genuinely dead. that would hurt too much, it would cause unnecessary trauma and could break the timeline. that must mean ruby stays alive in some way. ish. she’s alive and a legend and a mystery. girl-ballad girl-song girl-paradox
here she is, fading out.
p.s.: thesis statement on moffatgirls from the tags i left on somebody else’s post about charley pollard.. well it belongs here since it’s basically the semiotic hurricane swirling around ruby at the moment :)

Tim Drake: Bruce said that I can’t put on the Robin suit and fight crime.
Tim Drake: Robin suit and fight crime
Time Drake: a n d
Tim Drake, 20 minutes later, 100% certain this logic is sound and he has not technically broken the rules:
