Canon Destiel Timeline Masterpost
I wrote this all in a fugue state while listening to Green Grow the Lilacs on repeat so forgive any mistakes. @gay-fae ask and ye shall receive
So much has happened in the long and storied history of his fandom so I've decided to try to document it. I've started by looking up every time that canon destiel, destiel event, misha collins, jackles, or some other search terms have spiked on Google and cross referenced them with tumblr or twitter posts from that day. I know a lot of this is Misha stuff, but he does tend to be the one to say things
November 5th, 2020: Season 15, Episode 18 "Despair" airs and Castiel declares his love to Dean. The presidential election, Georgia turning blue, the presumed retirement of Vladamir Putin, Dabi from My Hero Academia, Ouran Host Club season 2, Sherlock season 5, the president of Bolivia being attacked with dynamite, ongoing BLM protests, a twitter artist making racist art of Ted Bundy, Hetalia returning, a dead man being elected Representative for North Dakota, V for Vendetta, scientists discovering a "hell" planet that rains rocks and has lava oceans, and half of Europe being in lockdown all became tumblr news around the same time. Some of these are true, some not.
November 8th, 2020: Misha Collins, in a panel with Richard Speight, states that the confession scene was a "declaration of homosexual love", and that when Castiel goes to the Empty, it is an example of the "Kill your gays" trope.
November 19th, 2020: The finale airs and it is not well loved to say the least. The episode is short, Dean dies by falling on a nail to death fighting vampire clowns, and there are several characters left with dangling unresolved plot threads and arcs, including Castiel. The car is in heaven though. There is very little heard from the cast and crew, if anything.
November 22nd, 2020: Misha Collins, in a livestream, tells a fan that Castiel and Jack are remaking heaven together, Cas has his wings back, and they are rainbow-colored. He had, however, mentioned the rainbow wings before.
November 24th, 2020: The Spanish dub of the confession is released and a "rogue" translator has written "Y yo a ti" or "I love you too" as Dean's response. Destiel goes canon in Spanish. Tumblr stops working as a result.
November 25th, 2020: tumblr user @thebloggerbloggerfun claims Jensen Ackles said "I had a member of the film crew record the confession scene on my phone for me" #unsourced #releasethetapes
November 26th, 2020: Misha doesn't appreciate the rogue translator, but walks that opinion back later the same day
November 27th, 2020: A "leaked" Italian dub of the confession scene shows a mutual confession.
November 28th, 2020: President Obama follows a destiel account on Twitter
November 30th, 2020: The supposed "Italian dub" is revealed as a fake created by user @iotiamo using sound clips from other parts of the Italian dub on show.
December 1st, 2020: Twitter user @mothdean says "misha I know you have a stan acc and spy on us so can we have a hazel update please"
December 3rd, 2020: Misha tweets about Hazel snoring and this is taken as possible confirmation of Misha's secret stan account
December 11th, 2020: A script from Cas's perspective leaks. It says "We see Cass's POV of Dean again - his face drawn, drained of hope. But still beautiful. Still Dean Winchester."
December 16th, 2020: Newsweek runs an article about an article that Misha wrote about the Lewinsky affair while interning in the Clinton White House in which Misha comes off as rather thirsty for Bill
December 20th, 2020: All Supernatural related materials disappear off the CW's website due to a copyright dispute with Warner Brothers
December 31st, 2020: Mishapocalypse redux
February 9th, 2021: Spn cast members Chad Lindberg and Samantha Ferris tweet about a party at the Roadhouse and it grows to become a full Destiel wedding
February 16th, 2021: @steveyockey made a fairly benign post about Jensen Ackles. The notes went wild in a variety of ways and started a rumor that Spn writer Steve Yockey was dead
February 20th, 2021: Steve Yockey is not dead and he should say it
March 3rd, 2021: The German dub drops and it is also romantic in tone
March 6-8th, 2021: A virtual con happens where Jensen discusses Chaos Machine and Jared says he wants to be in their next project. They also show that WAP video. Jensen is giving full mountain man preparing to play Soldier Boy.
March 10th, 2021: The French dub is released. Cas says, "I love you, Dean" and Dean now responds, "Don't do this to me, Castiel"
March 13th, 2021: The company Amazon tweets about Castiel and Misha Collins asks if they ship Deancas or Wincest. Subsequently apologizes.
March 16th, 2021: Misha says he can't speak as Castiel because Warner Brothers" specifically forbade it. #cwsniperconfirmed
March 17th, 2021: Sam and Eileen are getting married! I have no idea how this came about but I'm happy for them
March 23rd, 2021: Chad Lindberg and Samantha Ferris claim on Twitter that the Roadhouse party was about Valentine's day and not a wedding. Ferris specifically said that she worked on the show and that people tried to make Dean/Cas into "something that it wasn't", She also stated she doesn't "know what queerbaiting is" and that it was due to an "agenda". This led to #deanisbi trending on Twitter and Tumblr.
March 31st, 2021: Some possibly fake leaked scripts come up for sale on eBay. Also, Jensen is Batman.
April 1st, 2021: Mishapocalypse redux
April 6th, 2021: Leaked scripts from the 2 final episodes pop up and have several mentions of Cas in them that were omitted. Dean even thinks about Cas's confession when confronting Chuck.
April 18th, 2021: Scripts from seasons 12 and 13 leak. These include scenes from after Cas's death
May 17th, 2021: Jensen's band Radio Company releases an album including the song Watching Over Me
June ~5th, 2021: Misha says at a convention that Watching Over Me is about Castiel. Jensen neither confirms nor denies this when asked about it
June 11th, 2021: It is announced that Misha is publishing a book of poetry
June 18th, 2021: The Russian dub airs and Dean's line is changed to "Don't you dare, Cas"
June 24-28th, 2021: Jensen and Daneel Ackles reveal that they are making a Supernatural prequel series following John and Mary Winchester (a story that NOBODY was asking for). Jensen will reprise his role as Dean and will narrate. Misha hints that he would like to be involved, as do Ruthie Connell, Samantha Ferris, Matt Cohen, and Julie McNiven (the perils of having a cast of mostly immortal characters). But Jared Padalecki first says that he is happy for the Ackles's, he later said he was "gutted", then responded to Robbie Thompson's tweet calling him a "coward" and saying "what an awful thing you've done". The next day, Jensen and Jared both do damage control and say they'll always be brothers
July 17th, 2021: People are asking if Destiel will be canon in Space Jam, Misha's poetry book's cover is revealed to lukewarm reviews and people are talking about a particular poem about piss, and Perfume Genius releases an article that is a self-insert vore fanfiction about having sex with Jensen Ackles
August 2nd, 2021: Perfume Genius is at it again with "Last Friday, I had my eyes removed by Jared Padalecki". No, I do not know why she is doing this.
August 9th, 2021: Destiel fics hit 100k on Ao3. Misha tweets his support and people remember that he sometimes reads fanfiction and theorize he has an A03 account
September 1st, 2021: Misha makes his first Tiktok. There is a short intro before he calls cut, walks behind a screen, and strips his clothes off
September 3rd, 2021: Jake Abel uses Michael and Adam to help sell his hot sauce brand
September 4th, 2021: Misha confirms that the love between Castiel and Dean was "reciprocated"
September 9th, 2021: A clip of the real Italian dub of the confession scene goes viral as it is revealed that, unlike the Spanish dub, they change the line to "ti voglio bene" or essentially "I love you like family". Misha responds with a video saying "Ciao Italia, ti amo" with the subtitle "Love is love in any language"
September 21st, 2021: Misha drops the fact that one of his poems is from Castiel's perspective.
September 30th, 2021: Jensen will be appearing at a con on the same day as Misha and not with Jared for "professional reasons"
October 4th, 2021: Misha responds to a fan's tweet by saying that Jensen has "crazy eyes and a knife in his pocket"
October 10th, 2021: Daneel posts a picture of Jensen intently reading Misha's poetry book in front of a roaring fire on Instagram. Misha responds that he misses them even more
October 12th, 2021: Jensen is cast in Rust, a (rather ill-fated) western and Misha says "Yippie-ki-yay" and calls him a stud in the comments
October 16th, 2021: Denvercon. Jensen and Jared reunite for the first time since THE INCIDENT
April 24th, 2022: Misha Collins says in terms of being an extrovert, an introvert, or a bisexual, he joked "I'm all three". This led to the internet celebrating Misha's newly revealed bisexuality.
April 25th, 2022: Misha Collins comes out as straight. Oops!
June 19th, 2022: According to Misha, Dean's heaven was supposed to be at the Roadhouse with all his friends and Cas was going to be there with him
November 7th, 2022: Misha calls Elon Musk a snowflake
November 12th, 2022: Tumblr starts planning another Mishapocalypse
January 24th, 2023: Jensen and the cast of the Winchesters throw Dean Winchester a birthday party, including wearing silly little hats
February 26th, 2023: At JIBcon 11, Jensen sings an improvised song about an angel while Misha sits cross-legged on the floor looking up at him
April 1st, 2023: 10 year anniversary of the Mishapocalypse
April 16th, 2023: A year after his bisexual whoopsie daisy, Misha says that Warner Brothers asked him to "let it go" and keep pretending to be bisexual.
August 23, 2023: Rogue Spanish translator is revealed to not have gone rogue at all but instead to have followed the script he was given, confirming the existence of a mutual love confession that was cut at some point.
If you can remember any events and dates that I haven't found, please let me know and I'll add them! I haven't really rounded out 2022 and 2023 yet.

THE BEAR S3 Predictions
Just a mental note I'm putting out here to be able to revisit it when the time comes to check its level of accuracy. I have the feeling that S3 is going to be the season of the reconciliations.
The relationship between Richie and Carmy is completely broken after the walk-in incident and Richie walks from The Bear. He happens to get some kinda job offer and accepts it just to prove Carmy wrong. They will later spend a good portion of S3 trying to repair their bond. By the end of S3 (hopefully sooner) there should be a reconciliation of some sort between them and Richie should go back to The Bear.
Nat gives birth to her new "cub" and this brings the family together. There is a reconciliation with Donna, which in some capacity benefits not only the siblings but the entire team, the restaurant as a whole. Not exactly sure how this will play out, but Donna will quit being this negative and toxic influence on everyone. Maybe she gets clean because she takes this baby as a new chance to start over and be a better grandmother than the mother she was. IDK...
Marcus' mother dies and this juxtaposition of new beginnings, births, endings, death, etc is going to be a theme throughout the whole season, that is why I actually think this funeral will be the opener.
There will be some kinda flashback episode, like 7 Fishes or a montage of some memory that has a huge impact on one or more characters. I have my $ put on the Sundays, Mr. Adamu and lil Syd would spend at Mr. Beef's. I strongly disagree with the weak argument that just because the Berzattos are catholic, their restaurant didn't open on Sundays. The gastronomic industry cares very little about those traditions especially if the place is struggling. I bet they were open every Sunday part-time, just for lunch, to get all the demand of those who went to church just because business-wise it makes total sense.
Carmen will apologize to Claire. Not sure what she's gonna make of that apology, whether she's gonna accept it or not, I hope she doesn't. I'm pretty sure there will be no reconciliation here. I don't necessarily oppose Carmy having a romantic partner and as much as I ship SydCarmy like nobody's business, I'm 100% sure they are not gonna happen any time soon. Maybe and this is a HUGE maybe, they could be the perfect cliffhanger for S4. But that would be a stretch. Not that Store & Calo couldn't pull it off, but still. So, basically, I am all for a new love interest being presented to Carmen just to see how he responds to it. After Claire he should go back to his old lone-wolf ways, I need to test that behavioral theory though, so I need a new female character to do it.
Last, but certainly not least, Miss Adamu needs her man and I'm not talking about Bear. I want to know more about Sydney's past and see her letting her hair down, putting her records on, and all that jazz. So, maybe an old flame can re-appear in her life and they can try to "reconcile". This reconciliation shouldn't work either because she's now devoted to making The Bear work and is basically a workaholic and both, Carmy & her get into this synch of type As on Speed and Red Bull, non-stop working machines, well-oiled now that they had already learned from their mistakes and The Bear succeeds but Sydney's relationship with her guy from the past fails, again. The guy feels like a 3rd wheel and lets her know that she's not in a relationship with him but with her job. Sydney understands the subtext, and this break-up is actually a wake-up call for her. She starts seeing what we all shippers are already seeing. It's not just about work for her. Yes, The Bears are too absorbing and demanding, both, the restaurant and the chef, but she doesn't mind. She loves it. Love is the operative word here. This realization should hit her hard by the end of the season.
The background of all the things I just mentioned above will be the BOH, fast-paced, chaotic, and working like a Swiss clock, just like Carmy likes it.
Am I missing something? Probably. Can't wait to find out.
Bonus tracks: I am pretty sure the wedding will either be Teff's or Fak's.
And lastly: When Sydcarmy happens, it will "officially" start with something small and inane like Syd accidentally finding out Carm has been drawing portraits of her all along... CHECK THIS OUT, I think Storer & Calo have something like this in mind or along these lines, and it should come along in S3, minus the sex part.

I've been thinking about your meta about 5.16 as a Zach manipulation. It reminded me of the theory that the Ash scene is Dean's 3rd heaven room. It has Dean's coolest friends, Ash and Pam, and they reassure him they don't blame him for their deaths. Ash persuades him you can hack heaven and have fun with it; Pamela tells him heaven is great. All this propaganda for a special Dean heaven as a final reward for being Michael's meatsuit, like the angels later promise Adam will see his mum?
Pam does hit Dean and say "That's for getting me killed" in that scene. Ash is cool with being dead though, and Pam ends up saying heaven is a better place. I actually think Pam throwing in a dose of guilt then cooling it with the balm of heaven being a real paradise is perhaps more indicative of potential manipulations in play than her telling Dean she didn't blame him would be, because two primary component of Dean's motivations when running off to say "Yes" end up being 1) Minimize the destruction of the earth (i.e., the harm to others) 2) The weight of guilt over what happens if he's wrong—if they can't find a way to win, and then when EVERYONE dies (like what Zachariah showed Dean in "The End") Dean thinks it'll all be on him—it'll all be his fault that the world burned.
Bringing Pam back in 5.16 is interesting, because Dean's lowest point in season 4 was arguably "On The Head of A Pin", and that episode opened with Dean talking about Pam's death the previous episode.

Pamela didn't want anything to do with this and we dragged her back into it, Sam.
SAM
She knew what was at stake.
DEAN
Oh yeah. Saving the world. And we're doing such a damn good job of it.
SAM
Dean—
DEAN
I'm tired of burying friends, Sam.
SAM
Look, we catch a fresh trail—
DEAN
And we follow it, I know. Like I said, I'm just—I'm just getting tired.
The episode closed with Dean saying that if HE was supposed to stop the apocalypse, "You guys are screwed". He followed that up by saying these burdens were too big, overwhelmed to the point of tears.
So bringing Pam back recalls a lot of negative emotions and a sense of deep hopelessness. Pam basically functions as a voice to remind Dean that he isn't qualified to stop the apocalypse. It's too big and he isn't strong enough. He'll fail (he's already been blamed for failing to stop Sam at the end of season 4 repeatedly). People he cares about will get hurt/die (and already have, like Pam and Ellen and Jo). Pam is also a reminder of risk. No matter what plan Team Free Will might come up with, it'll be risky—and Pam was the collateral damage of one of Dean's risky plans. Contrast this with how Pam represents heaven as a peaceful certainty. "No matter what happens, everyone will come here and it'll all be okay". So Dean might as well stop fighting, stop torturing himself, stop hand-wringing, and give in.
I also think that's a great point about Ash making heaven feel more "real" by giving the possibility of hacking it. All of this feels like a direct attempt to refute 4.22 when Dean fought with Cas in the beautiful room and said life on earth was better than heaven because it's real—that he'd take the pain and the guilt because it was a lot better than being some Stepford bitch in paradise. Pam says it doesn't matter if it's fake, and Ash represents being able to be in heaven without being a Stepford bitch. And the thing is, I wouldn't be surprised if Zachariah overheard that fight between Dean and Cas in 4.22 (especially based on how immediately he appeared to try and stop Cas when Cas returned to help Dean escape). If Zachariah overheard that, he'd know it was a defining aspect of not just Dean's but Cas's reasons for rebellion as well. Convincing Dean to abandon this perception of heaven as a false paradise would not only weaken Dean's resistance, but also weaken his bond with Cas as well by making Cas feel betrayed (which is exactly what ends up happening). 5.16 attempted to weaken Dean's resistance, but 5.13 through 5.16 were also all about weakening the unity of the family as a whole, starting all the way back with John and Mary, working through Sam and Dean's relationship with Bobby, Sam and Dean's relationship with one another, and then Dean and Cas's relationship.
What Pam says reeks of heavenly manipulations already (how does Pam know all of these details about Dean being a vessel anyway?) but Zachariah's influence also seems likely based on how Sam and Dean get inside the Roadhouse, and then what happens the moment they leave. What gets them into the Roadhouse is Zachariah "looking" for them in the woods. It's obvious he knows exactly where they are, but he appears to toy with them for no reason. He keeps popping up in front of them everywhere they run, until they bump right into Ash who leads them away. Sam and Dean are meant to believe they'd escaped Zachariah's awareness of their location by following Ash, but we immediately know that can't be true, because the moment they leave the Roadhouse they immediately fall right into Zachariah's most overt trap inside the old Winchester family house, and inside that trap, Zachariah confronts Dean with a completely fake Mary—so why wouldn't he have lead them to a completely fake Pam and Ash?

SPN advent calendar 2022
somehow I thought that three advent calendars weren't enough :) so I started my own supernatural scrapbook advent calendar!
every day up until December, 24th I take one picture out of my storage and do a double page in my scrapbook. My mom sorted them so they are a surprise every time :))
anyway, here are the first ten of them!!!
December, 1st (starting slow and trying to get a feel for it)
December, 2nd (I wanted to play around with the blue and green lmao)
December, 3rd (I really hate that one, despite having such a pretty picture of Dean)
December, 4th (tried out a new technique, fell in love with it!)
December, 5th (tried out the green and blue again, gave Cas his tiny bee bcs he deserves it)
December, 6th (found an old lexicon and started cutting out pictures; one of my favorites so far! first time I packed a page full!)
December, 7th (my favorite page by far! the black and white plus Baby!)
December, 8th (happy with this one as well!)
December, 9th (I really love the older seasons but the darker shades make it hard to experiment with different colors :()
December, 10th (sadly again with the brown shades but I do love this one as well:))
(also yes I do write down every single episode of the screencap I use. I hate how I usually know which season/episode I work with)

Hello! It’s time for another “Take a Taste”! The series is about delicious food with my two paper dolls.
And today, I'm reviewing this hot-served Lugaw Sisig from Mang Boy Alfredo Lugawan Restaurant! 🥣😊 How's it taste? Let's find out! 🤔

• So, we're here at the gorgeous Mang Boy Alfredo Lugawan Restaurant! Where they opened 24 hours of eating Lugaw soup (or any dish that they offered) by customers, like us! This is actually, my first time (or our first time) to stepped in during night time. And we all know, that we love eating restaurant at night time! 😋🥣🌙

• Such the case, with this delicious "Lugaw Sisig" that I've ordered. By the way, I'm with my family & my related aunt (or "Tita") for a special dinner night! 😁
• Anyways, the cost of "Lugaw Sisig" is ₱119 ($2.16). Mmmm, this lugaw look scrumptious! The combination of sizzling sisig mixed with warm rice porridge! 🥣😋 (along side with common toppings)
• And yes, the word "Lugaw" is a type word for Asian porridge. So, let's dig in! 😋

• Here's my spoon scooping on two different toppings. The first is the sisig toppings, then next is the boiled egg! Yum-yum! 😋 The fusion dish is fantastic, at the same time, its a bit spicy thanks to the sisig's signature recipe! And the presentation look great on the bowl, I love it! 🥰 Have some, you two! Let's finish this bowl.😋

• Minutes later, we're all done! Thankfully, they offered us a manual service of drinking water to wash out our meal! 💧😊
Overall:
• It's a unique dish, on what could be otherwise, a normal porridge topped with sizzling meal that Filipinos/Filipinas know in love. Will I ordered it again? Absolutely! 😁 However, I want a try other menus that they offered from this lugawan (porridge) resto establishment. And my paper dolls completely agrees.😊

Going to work, college or just out and about. Sundays in the Oldenburg household were always different depending on the week beforehand. You either get hectic or calm. Today's Sunday, April 3rd of 2022, you're going to be greeted with a calmer environment.
Dawn begins to slowly break over the rooftops of the normally bolstering city to create a beautiful warm orange hue that slowly bleeds through the parted curtains in the darkened bedroom. An occupied balcony attached to the bedroom holds a beautiful young woman with snow white hair and intense blue eyes. A baby blue coffee mug nestled in between her pale hands as the warmth became her only salvation to the crisp cool morning. Spring had come in full clutch and the promise of summer was not far behind.
The steam from her hot coffee curled up and wisped around her nose, filling her senses with a mixture of vanilla and caffeine. In these moments of silence, Elsa was able to gather her thoughts. Thinking about the bigger picture that people call life. Her gaze never left the sky. Always watching as the sunrise became more prominent until the sun filled the sky completely. Deep purples, pinks and oranges are gone and replaced by a sky blue. Sunrises were always Elsa's favorite. Sunsets were her sister's favorites.
The thought of Anna caused a loving smile to break across the elder woman's face as she lifted the mug to her lips for a small sip. The scolding liquid always soothed Elsa upon first touch. Anna? Not so much. Anna hated coffee, she preferred hot cocoa. That was warm.
"Anna, it's not hot cocoa if it's warm."
"Yes, it is! You're just some crazy lady who would rather scold her taste buds off than enjoy her drink."
"That is not true."
"So true."
Elsa chuckles into her mug at the memory. It was the first night in their shared apartment, and Anna insisted on making her hot cocoa more of a warm cocoa. They bickered over the temperature of the drinks for a little while longer before Elsa had teased Anna into submission and caused the younger woman to blush a deep red and then leave the room altogether, so she didn't have an episode of word vomit in front of her beloved older sister.
Following the rays of the morning sun that illuminated the once dark room, there sat a nice queen-sized bed. A dark red comforter adorning the mattress with an unmoving lump in the middle. Bright red hair sticking out from the tops of the blanket and introducing us to another inhabitant.
Anna was a deep sleeper and Elsa knew that nothing would wake her if their alarm clock wasn't set to go off at 6 every morning. It was reaching 7 am and that gave Anna more reason to sleep in comfortably.
Elsa didn't return inside until her mug was completely empty. And she took her time with the beverage. Even drinking it after it had gotten 'Anna' warm. She quietly slid the balcony door open before stepping into the bedroom. The warm air greeted her like a warm blanket that had just been tumbled in the dryer and pulled out to be used. She took a second to let the last of the chill leave her body before heading over to her vanity and pulling out a notepad and a pen. She quickly wrote out a letter for Anna to read when she did finally wake up. She folded it up and then sealed it with a little heart next to Anna's name, just like how she knew her sister liked, before giving the mess of red hair a kiss. She stood back up to admire the slumbering woman, her heart swelling at the soft snoring sounds emitting from the covers. But eventually she left the room to start the day.
If the girls have nothing planned, then Elsa leaves the apartment to do some last minute food shopping. She always buys a week worth of meals on either Friday night if she's got weekend plans or Sunday morning. She'll mostly be out till early afternoon, around the time Anna does eventually roll herself out of bed. There have been times where Anna slept until she smelled food. While mostly she'll be up before Elsa gets back so she can help put away groceries and even cook.
With Elsa gone, the apartment grew silent. The smell of coffee lingering behind being the only reminder that she was even there.

10:58 a.m. was when Anna began to rouse from her sleep. She had a routine.
She'd first stretch out so far that it looked like she was being stretched out by some invisible force. She'd do this until all of her bones and muscles popped back into place only for her to melt into her bed. She will lay there for a few minutes, unmoving. And depending on how tired she was, she'd either fall back to sleep for another hour or she'd get up and begin her day. Then she'd sit up and yawn, stretch some more, and then slowly allow her brain to catch up with her body.
Today, however, Anna's hand had hit the note her sister left behind. Which was her reasoning to get up. She grabbed the perfectly folded letter and flipped it open while yawning into her free hand.
My dearest Anna,
I left to grab some groceries for the week. If you manage to wake up before i get there then go grab a bath and wait for me in the kitchen. It's your turn to pick out what we have for dinner and breakfast. And don't worry, I'll buy you some more hot cocoa, because it seems you only have enough left to make yourself a single cup.

Once Anna was done reading the letter, she was wearing a wide grin on her face. She absolutely loved it when Elsa left her notes like this. It wasn't an everyday thing but when she did manage to find time, Anna was never disappointed. She hugged the paper to her chest before scrambling off the bed to hide it in her secret spot away from Elsa. She wouldn't admit to it but she kept every last note Elsa had written to her.
It was a little wooden box that she found while thrift shopping with Kristoff. It had been damaged a bit but all in all, it was the best 5 bucks she had ever spent. And Anna kept it in a little cubby hole in their shared closet. It's the only area Elsa hasn't been in because the hole is covered by the stacks of shoe boxes, she owns that Anna uses as a door. Plus, Elsa hates dark places that she can't see. Half the time she thinks that there's creepy crawlers in them and she'd never know what she'd be touching. So, Anna knew it would be the best place for it.
Elsa knows about the place. But she's never looked in the box and she's never told Anna about finding it. She's not the type of person who dwells on secrets, so it wasn't a big deal to her. And Anna never pulls the box out, so she guessed it was something kept from her until Anna was ready to show her.
After Anna made sure the box was back in its spot, she replaced the shoe boxes exactly how they were before and then left the closet. She decided that she'd skip the bath until Elsa got back so they could enjoy one together after brunch. Of course, she stopped in to wash her face and brush her hair. Cause holy hell, she looked like some wild animal with how her hair stuck up all over the place. Ten minutes, and a sore head later, Anna found herself sat at the bar that separated the kitchen from the living room. A bright yellow mug in her hand with her warm cocoa.
She sat there and let her mind wander. Making it look like she was in a complete daze as she stared at the wall opposite her.

The sound of the front door unlocking didn’t catch Anna’s attention so by the time Elsa finished wrestling the bags of food that littered her arms, she walked into the apartment and spotted Anna still in her dazed expression. She still held her cup of, now, cold cocoa and Elsa could tell from the way Anna’s hair looked dull rather than vibrant, that she hadn’t taken a shower yet.
“Anna, are you okay sweetie?”
“Hm?” Anna’s glazed over blue eyes averted to where the sound of Elsa’s voice came from. She could barely focus on her sister as her thoughts remained in the past for a few seconds longer.
“I said, are you okay?”
As the elder woman set the bags down, she started to get a bit worried and slowly made her way over to her sister.
“Oh! Elsa!”
She then jumped when Anna exclaimed out of nowhere. Her eyes wide and hands held out as if she were trying to calm Anna down if need be.
“Hi there,”
“You’re home.”
“I am, yes. Are you okay?”
Anna giggled and raised her mug to her lips. Elsa’s left brow cocks when the younger girl sputters out the cold beverage before wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
“That’s cold.”
Elsa snorted into her shoulder as she turned her head.
“I am okay, but now I need a new cup of cocoa.”
Elsa stepped in front of the other girl and held her hand out to press into her chest. “Aht aht! You didn’t take the bath I told you to take. Did you get my note?”
“Yes, and I didn't take one because I was waiting for you to get home.” Anna answered. She pressed her chest against Elsa's hand before offering her a little pout.
“We-well….um,” Elsa swallowed as she looked down at how Anna kept pressing into her hand before locking her gaze with her sister again only to remove her hand from her chest. “...how about you go get the bath started and then I’ll make us another round of hot cocoa.”
If Anna was a golden retriever, then her ears would have perked up so far and her tail would be wagging the mail off the table near where she stood.
“And then I'll join you. Sound fair?”
“Okay!”
And that was the last Elsa saw of Anna until she followed her moments later for a comfortable soak.
Of course, Elsa took the time to put the groceries away. Which took a bit longer than she would have liked? But she was able to start the hot cocoa in between so she would have it done by the time she was done stocking their cabinets.
“Elsa! ~”
The sing-song tone Anna held made Elsa shiver as she grabbed both mugs and slowly made her way into their room. She didn’t answer until she got in the bathroom and slowly placed the mugs down on the counter close to the tub. Anna was submerged under white bubbles that looked almost like snow.
“I’m right here, silly.”
Anna’s response was to flick soap at her, but it landed on the edge of the tub instead. Else just rolled her eyes good-heartedly and began to strip out of her clothes. She was grateful to the way the heat from the tub filled the room, she may love the cold, but she was still human and she absolutely loved getting warm after a day out in the blistering cold.
Once she was tub-worthy, Anna moved forward so Elsa could slip in behind her. Both girls made a noise of surprise while Elsa slipped in. Anna, because Elsa’s cold feet and legs slide along her thighs before quickly getting warm from the water. And Elsa, because of the temperature of the water.
After Elsa got comfortable and was able to lean back against the wall opposite the faucet, Anna leaned back so she could rest on her sister's chest. But she was quick to pull away and look at Elsa.
“What?” Elsa asked just as she tilted her head to give the younger woman a confused look.
Anna huffed and cupped her hands to grab some water before pouring it onto pale breasts. “Your nipples were cold.” she muttered.
Once Anna was satisfied, she turned back around and reclaimed her sister's chest.
“OW!”
Anna felt a sharp pinch to her left hip and jolted in the water before shooting a pout over her shoulder at her smirking sister. “Elsa?!”
“Don’t be crude.”
“Well don’t be such a prude.”
Elsa pinched Anna again, who just whined before sinking under the water till her head didn’t show. She stayed like that for a few seconds longer than Elsa would have liked. Only to re-emerge with soap and water clung to her red hair. The eldest of the two leaned in and started to wipe the soapy water from Anna’s face only to grab her by the hip and pull her in to rest back against her chest like before.
They stayed like that, in silence with Anna’s head rested back on Elsa’s left shoulder with her eyes closed. Elsa tilted her head to let her lips press to Anna’s temple with her arms wrapped around her small waist.

The bath had taken a whole hour of their afternoon. But eventually the water started to get cold, and the girls were getting hungry. So, they found themselves in mid-prep for their late lunch/early dinner of the day.
They both decided on chicken alfredo. Elsa seared the four chicken breasts in a skillet while Anna prepared the noodle water. After she got the water on the stove, Anna started to cut up some mozzarella and then grate the rest of it. Music played in the background and Elsa watched from the corner of her eye. She smiled to herself when she saw Anna sing into the end of the knife, she held like it was a microphone. She also still had her hair wrapped up in a white towel from earlier. Elsa had braided hers and let it rest on one side of her shoulder.
It was moments like these that let Elsa know she really loved her sister. Loved how goofy and wild she could be. After an hour of cuddling and now she had so much energy that she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with it. So, Anna danced and sang. Eventually though, Elsa started to chime in. She really couldn’t help it considering how contagious Anna was when she was happy.
The food had come together quite nicely. Elsa had let Anna make the sauce since she knew what the recipe had said without looking it up. This gave Elsa the chance to cut the chicken breasts up into thick slivers. It looked like she grilled it which gave the pasta more personality once it was mixed.
After the sauce, noodles and chicken were combined, the girls sat down in the living room with a plate each filled and two garlic breads each on the sides. Anna chose iced sweet tea while Elsa chose iced water.
A movie was selected between the two. ‘13 Going On 30’, and then after it’d be ‘There’s Something About Mary.’ Anna chose the former while Elsa chose the latter. Each movie was just as funny as the last in their own way, so the rest of the afternoon and evening was spent in quiet laughs and soft singing when a song popped on that both girls knew.
Eventually, Anna found Elsa resting her head in her lap as she dozed off near the end of her movie. This was the moment, and many like it from past Sundays, where Anna realized she honestly loved her sister. She happily gazed at her sister as she combed her fingers through her silk like white hair.
But Monday came early and both girls had a class/shift early in the morning. So, with little to no effort, Anna maneuvered her slumbering sister onto her back for a piggyback ride. She always thought this was easier for both, so she didn’t drop Elsa like she had last time.
She set Elsa on the bed once they got in their room and let her fall back onto the half-made bed. Anna pulled the covers back and coaxed Elsa’s half-asleep body into a sitting position.
“Elsaaaa.~” Anna sung softly as she supported a wobbly girl.
“Hmmmmm”
“Let’s go brush our teeth and then we can head to bed.”
Elsa stopped wobbling to instead rub her eyes. “Buh…the foods..”
“Already stowed away. Tv is off and the door is locked. I checked it three times.”
Elsa lifted her head up, eyes still shut, and then smiled with a pleased hum. “Good girl.”
Anna freezes on the spot before blushing and looking away from her older sister. She was finally able to get Elsa in the bathroom where they both brushed their teeth at a slow pace. Once the brushing was done, they flossed then gargled mouthwash.
“Teeth/” Elsa demanded tiredly. She watched Anna smile at her, all teeth. Not a single piece of food in place. But they were pearly white.
“Teefers.” Anna chirped and smiled when Elsa’s teeth looked the same as hers which Anna told her so before reaching over to switch the light off.
They slipped into their respected spots like every night and took the time to plug in their phones, set their alarms and turned off their side lamps. And just like two perfect puzzle pieces, the girls connected. Anna acted as a somewhat big spoon as she curled around Elsa. Their legs locking together while Anna pulled Elsa’s head against her chest. And within the hour both girls succumbed to sleep. The once lit room is shrouded in darkness as the room gets quiet and a single strip of moon light pours onto the ground through the window.
If you look close enough, you could see through the window as the stars litter the black sky above the rooftops of the buildings, the moon high in the sky and casting a soft glow. Just as much of a beautiful sight as when you get to see a sunset or sunrise. It was the perfect view to a perfect day.

Plot Synopsis:
Castiel has been sent back to Heaven. His human host, Jimmy, tries to regain his life. But the demons won't leave him alone and now his family is at risk.
Features:
Dean’s fishing dream, Cas’ vessel, Sam in withdrawal, Cas getting dragged back to Heaven, Amelia and Claire Novak, Sam getting locked in the panic room.
My Thoughts:
GENUINELY this is one of my favourite episodes of the entire series. It’s at least the 3rd, possibly the 4th time I’ve watched it in the last 8 months. I think it’s a perfect encapsulation of what this show can be at it’s best. It’s narratively relevant to the overall plot without being a huge exposition dump, it takes real care to look at the actual human cost of the actions of one of our protagonists, and it ramps up thematically with Heaven becoming more and more ominous.
Plus, Misha’s acting in this episode is really some of his best work. Even while watching it I have to remind myself that it’s the same actor playing Jimmy and Cas. His voice, his mannerisms, everything about him shifts so completely. There are very few frames of Jimmy that can be confused for Cas. In the dream scene we see Cas as terrified but almost able to hide it; watching it back, he’s obviously learned that Heaven is trying to cause the apocalypse and devastate humanity. And so much later, we’ll learn exactly what Heaven did to him to make him forget.
I LOVE this coming immediately after Angel Heart. The human cost continues to be so high, and it affects Claire and Amelia for the rest of their lives. Getting possessed by an angel is arguably worse than a demon; demons take your free will, but angels make you complicit in giving it away.
The visual of angels taking their vessel with the white light kicks so much ass, as does the warehouse where they all fought being destroyed. I love when the design and narrative implies a battle happening on more than just the physical plane, devastating everything around it.
As Cas comes closer to humanity and truly falling, he understands Jimmy more and more. Look at a comparison of a scene from this episode with Jimmy talking to Cas, and The Point of No Return when Cas talks to Dean.
The Rapture: “I gave you everything you asked me to give. I gave you more. This is the thanks I get?”
The Point of No Return: “I gave everything for you. And this is what you give to me?”

That's all folks! And there goes the 3rd week of June! Just like that!
At least today went by fast, had a lil teary episode during lunch when Serkan got upset at me but I guess you could say by the end of the day, all was well? Although the morning started off sooo laggy.
Woke up at 6:30am and still left the house 8:35am -__- When I got to the parking lot, I did find a slot that's RIGHT next to the last shuttle stop. But I got pressured by seeing the East Shuttle that I just grabbed my bag and dashed out the car. I didn't even know I remembered to lock my steering wheel. Anyway, when I tried to run for the shuttle door, My wipes in a novelty tiny soda can snapped off my bag and literally slid under the bus. I was like ugh fuck it , I had no choice!! hahaha Yun pla kaka-9am plang. And theeen when we was at the TBIT stop I totally thought it was just the first stop and the bus driver had to ask me if I was gettin off coz thas her last stop in the terminals hahahaha. Soooo L A G G Y. I turned in my vacation request the other day! Yes, yes, yes! July 1-2 tas off ako ng June 30 and July 3 hehehehe!

I personally think it was of his own free will that Cas chose to touch Dean's arm when Dean was overwhelmed and sad during in the beginning and looked at him with all the care in the world.

Lets talk about the Bare Minimum
Okay guys, obviously there is a huge divide here among those of us that are super positive and excited and those of you that are really doubtful the finale will give us anything remotely worthwhile. So lets break this down okay? Perhaps it can get us all on a fairly level playing field?
What is the absolute bare minimum the Supernatural Finale can give us to satisfy us?
Everyone will have different ideas of course, but if we dismiss all our wildest dreams and high expectations and consider the fact that yes, this is still Supernatural and they do tend to run on a mix of batshit crazy, profound and poetic beauty, and things seemingly falling into place so perfectly it was clearly 100% accidental (eg: The Monster at the End of this Book) then we should probably try to find a centre point. A point that we can use to gauge how the episode will fair overall.
So what is the bare minimum?
Castiel returns
This is it. This should be the bare minimum we should expect in order to make this finale meaningful.
If we are given nothing else, Cas returning should be enough for us to nod and say “okay Supernatural. You tried. You got him back. He was there for the finale. That’s the main thing.”
If Castiel isn’t back and the finale is just Sam and Dean driving around looking for generic MOTW hunts like in Season 1 in some sort of bronly wet dream, that would be a massive anticlimax and miserable way to end the series. It will be the worst ending of a show since GoT.
BUT we know Misha filmed 20. I will hear no more to the alternative. Misha filming 20 is and always has been a fundamental FACT.
So Castiel returns. Bare minimum met? Right? Of course there are caveats to that key point.
Castiel returning in flashback form only, or as a memory or dream, whilst the actual Castiel still remains in the Empty is NOT an acceptable option. If the show takes this route, this is still below the bare minimum. This would be deemed a failure in my opinion just as if the finale is just Sam and Dean being bros on the road.
What really needs to happen for the bare minimum to be met, is for Castiel to be rescued from the Empty. Whether that is by Jack, by Dean, or by himself or some other means, Castiel must return from the Empty to fix the only actual loose end not tied up in 15x19. We should also finally get the Empty being sent back to sleep, because having just binge watched episodes 12-18 all in one week, let me tell you, the amount of times it is repeated that the Empty desperately wants to go back to sleep is a LOT. From what I have been told, the Empty isn’t even mentioned in 19, so that is the only plot point actually still hanging over the series.
Of course, had Castiel not confessed his “homosexual feelings of love” for Dean in 15x18, then at this point I would have said that the bare minimum I needed was for Cas to be saved, and for Dean to give him a heartfelt hug and a look of love and to say “lets go home” off into a future where we know the story ends with Dean and Cas together in an ambiguous relationship. (Honestly, for a long time, this is the ending I thought we would get).
But Dabb and Bobo have written themselves into a very specific corner.
Castiel’s confession was not ambiguous. Because of this, the big question hanging over the final ever episode of the longest running genre show on TV, isn’t about whether the heroes will stop the big bad, it isn’t whether or not they will live or die, nope, it’s whether the lead male character will reciprocate romantic love for his “equally male” (Note - I’m talking in terms of mainstream here don’t @ me) best friend. The big question Supernatural has gone and put to its audience is “is Dean Winchester also in love with Castiel and therefore, is he also queer?”
This is an unpresedented situation that the show has put itself in.
Because of this, the bare minimum is no longer just Castiel being saved. It’s also Dean answering that question that the show has put to us.
Castiel must be saved, and the love confession must be addressed. These things are the key points going into this final episode. If either of them are glossed over in any way, the show would have fundamentally failed it’s audience, its characters, it’s cast, and everyone involved in it. Given how optimistic and happy everyone who works on the show seems to be currently, I highly doubt that is the case.
So. Castiel must be saved, and the confession must be addressed. Do we accept Dean rejecting Cas?
There is I suppose, a very slim chance that this could happen. If the Network let their own homophobia get to them (before you come @ me, no I don’t consider the CW’s many young attractive lesbian characters to let them off the hook for years of avoiding any non stereotypical queer men. IT’S TOTALLY DIFFERENT) then they may have greenlighted Cas’s queerness whilst refusing to do the same for Dean. They may consider simply saving Castiel and therefore #resurrectingyourgays as enough to satisfy the queer viewers, even though Castiel’s love was not returned. Perhaps in the final episode we will get a flashforward to years down the line and Cas has got over Dean and is living it up with another man? It’s possible right?
It would also cause utter outrage in the fanbase. Dabb and Bobo are far more savvy than fandom gives them credit for. I personally think that had the network said no to Dean reciprocating Castiel’s love, then Dabb and Bobo would have kept it ambiguous, and simply strongly implied that they end up together in an ending like the one I always thought we would get when my hopes for Destiel were at a low point.
So Dean reciprocating Castiel’s love also falls under the bare minimum requirements for the episode to be a success.
How they go about showing Dean reciprocating Cas’s feelings I don’t know. Do I absolutely need a kiss? No. It’s not a bare minimum requirement. Anything beyond Dean simply telling Cas he loves him back and Cas smiling at him is a bonus. Perhaps they could show it the way they showed Jesse and Cesar in 11x19. Through affection and care, but no actual kisses.
Whilst I personally believe we will get a kiss, it’s not a bare minimum, and if we don’t get one I will still be satisfied so long as we get all of the following:
Castiel is saved from the Empty
Dean reciprocates his love
Dean and Cas end up together (whether that be to live lives together on Earth, or both go out fighting and reunite in heaven together. Whatever the case, they must end up together)
My 3rd point here is the only other bare minimum requirement I need to not feel like they have screwed it up. I don’t care whether Dean and Cas end the show alive or dead. What I DO care is that regardless of where they end up, be it Earth, Heaven, or even Purgaytory, they are together. They must end the series together.
There are of course many other things I want. I want Cas to give up his grace (by choice) and become a human (I really wanna see him in Winchester plaid at least once!). I want to see them slow dancing like Garth and Bess did in 15x10. I want Sam to reunite with Eileen and also get a happy ending. I hope they get to keep the damn dog too. Ideally, I want a soft epilogue, because these boys are good people, and they’ve suffered enough. Whatever else may happen though, so long as those bare minimum requirements are met, I will consider the ending a resounding success.
Personally, I don’t think I’m asking for much.

End of the week special edition

Tl/Dr: This week was certainly supernatural
And here is a recap of everything that I'm aware of
7th - 13th of November
Quick recap of the week has to be started by mentioning what happened last weekend as events of the first half of the week were direct result of those actions. On 5th of November (maybe date was coincidental, or may be that theh predicted bigger interest on that particular day) Misha posted announcement that main cast will make fundraising event via Internet, to gather money for Stacey Abrams' organisation (fighting against voter suppression). Around the same time tumblr's 2020 year in review was published, with destiel in its own category.
This week has started with people thinking what will happen, with supernatural briefly trending on tublr, because of people, and which submitted questions have any chance of being answered. Many speculated - are they gonna say something interesting, is destiel gonna be canon or uncanon? And at sunday/monday twitter showdown took place, that resulted in publication of Misha's nude picture - and that only fueled the anticipation.
On Monday Misha told that there will be spn trivia, bloopers and outtakes from season 15. The post was not something special, but was commented by Jensen Ackles, breaking his social media silence. Because of the lack of content fandom started interpreting the post on manny ways - while saying "There will be an open bar, right" - is he talking about the finale, or he can't even talk about finale without drinking, or will he be drunk and unfiltered? From that point on anticipation only rose, and two separate tags were trending on tumblr, as well as on twitter.
Tension rose higher and higher as the hour of the event was approaching. Misha commented on Sun-Maid raisin tweet, then Sun-Maid social media person started to answer some Hellers (and people thought that Sun-Maid were also a Heller). Then things got even wilder, as Misha posted on instagram about asking Jensen about his weird acting choices, and about answering on fans prying questions. People were posting relantlessly on tumblr and pushing spn way up high on trending list. That kind of traffic caused temporary local insenity, as someone posted "correct me if I'm wrong, but Misha said something about having secret tumblr account" and manny people ran with it, asking random accounts if they are Misha Collins - kind of smaller, reversed Mishapocalypse.
Then livestrema started - people were rather disappointed as event was rather uneventful and anticlimactic. There was many more people from the cast as expected Kripke, Collins, Ackles and Padalecki. Half of the time was spent on talking about politics with Stacey Abrams, which still was unexpected for few people. After that there were 3 spn trivia questions to the cast and to the fans. They talked about Herpexia, and how Jared gave Seb Roché very weird massage on the airport. Misha said as a joke that the fandom does not care about voters supressio, only about their answers, which is indeed true Activity of the fandom proves that they want answers. Cast did not discuss finale, did not answer any questions. 5 minutes of bloopers were played.
After that people were almost ready to move on, there rumours that someone who won one-on-one zoom convo with Jensen asked him if Dean is bi, and man allegedly said that yes, and bottom to boot. Didn't find source of that rumour. People were stating that in bloopers Jensen was making joke about bottoming. Many that still steyed shipping were inching closer to casually shipping Jenmish. Consensus was made that The Episode That Must Not Be Named simply did not happen. Heller Obama became Ex-Heller Obama by unfollowing twitter destiel stan
Thursday was uneventful, from perspective it was kind of calm before the storm. In evening hours Misha tweeted about Castiel Project on give.trevorproject.org praising fans for selflessness. There was 1000 dollars anonymous donations, and people were very sure that it was Misha who donated. In the morning of next day it turned out that it was very selfless (and probably wonderful person) moved by this act of good will. Stacey Abrams watched finale and praised it
On Friday stuff just... Kept happening. It started with Taylor Swift dropping surprise album "Evermore" that many fans interpreted as describing Dean's and Cas' relationship - Destiel posts were climbing to top positions in T Swift tag. Parallels were seen everywhere. Things got even more unhinged as the day passed. Scripts of confession scene of 15x18 were leaked. It was hard to determine authenticity of script. They were proven to be authentic and stolen by Adam Williams, spn's VFX coordinator.
Script didn't reveal any new revolutionary information. But it included cas' POV - "Still beautiful, still Dean Winchester" which hinted on Cas finding Dean also physically attractive. It included "pulls Dean close" as well, which again trigeret speculations if something was taken out, and general anger at big three: queercoding, queerbaiting and "kill your gays trope. Destiel was proclaimed canon for the 3rd time. Spn was trending yet again stopping at 4th place.
Adam Williams went on a twitter spree for more than 10 hours, making very gay-homophobic statements. He claimed among others that Dean is not bi, but Destiel is canon, but not in sexual way, but if Dean woul be bi, he would be a top BECAUSE he is an alpha, and that labels are unnecessary but Dean is streight. Whole cast and cw stayed silent about scripts and Williams' statements (it is worth remembering that he had no influence on a plot, so his statements regarding plot, no matter if stating that destiel is canon or saying that Dean is streight - are as valid as any other headcanon presented on tumblr)
In the meantime Jared published posts praising the finale
As soon as excitement and rage died down and supernatural stopped trending new informations came up. On Saturday evening a Facebook panel with LatAm voice actors took place. (As I do not speak Spanish I'm going to include 3rd and 4th hand information here). It is stated that LatAm dub director thought that Cas and Dean are clearly in love, thought that included in translated script (basically) "I too" was too vague for that relationship and hanged it. There is no consensus on if tape that they got had any other English audio (at least I did not find anything that I can trust 100% yet) so it is best to assume that they've got the version that we've seen. Whole crew just went on with it, thinking that it all makes sense. As they (especial the director) were on board with that version destiel was again proclaimed canon. As I was finishing writing that there were attempts to contact the director, and spn was still trending. People are hating on Misha "for lying" which they should not do, given that only him was ready to listen to them
The End has no End
Fandom, as well as the show just won't die, which is in of itself very supernatural of us
They probably never will be done, and there will never be peace
If there'll be new updates I'm gonna keep the tabs

What was your "ah, yes. They're in love." moment? Cause mine was 8x17 Goodbye Stranger. I was in 8th grade (like 7/8 years ago, it's getting hard to keep track), it was christmas break. It was like my 3rd time around watching SPN, I was minding my own business watching Dean get the shit beat out of him and then hes on his knees, begging Cas to stop and I 👁👄👁 and I was a clown ever since. I started writing fics the next school year.

3)I know they're from an improv background but it never ceases to delight how joyfully they support each other's unexpected bits.
4) Alex seems like he gets a kick out of playing up his annoyance at the musical idea more than actually being frustrated it keeps coming up. I thought so but nice to confirm.
Bless this cast, it wouldn't have been a huge deal if they let Alex's description stand but its so nice they not only corrected it, they did so without hesitation and Alex seemed to appreciate the help in getting to better phrasing rather than take it as an accusation. Not that I thought he would but feeling grateful for RQ not falling into behavior I see elsewhere. Also hearing everyone chiming in; with Bryn being the one to name check the trope instead of it being on Helen to always take the lead is nice to hear.

Have I mentioned lately that I love literally everything about this show? Even when he thinks he knows exactly what the party is going to do and certainly knows what he is guiding them towards Alex checks instead of putting anyone in the position of having to derail.

Hamid is reassuring Cel. Something both relateable and possibly a bad sign that "don't worry they have been spending all their time preparing to kill us, so they can't be attacking your people" is legitimately both the line Hamid took and probably the most effective possible.
The others help too. I love how they openly care, reassuring Cel without telling them to repress or that they are wrong to experience the emotions in the first place.
