if the fates conspire that only one of us may live, then lover, it must be you.

i will save you the grand speeches about how you are good and deserving. you are. you are. you are, but in the end, that is not the reason why.

the world may call me brave or strong or selfless but lover, you know the truth don't you?

in the end, i am only more afraid of facing a world without you than i am of facing death of facing anything.

in the end, i am only too weak to be the one left behind to pick up the pieces of a broken life a broken promise a broken heart and keep on bleeding when the blood in your heart is already dry.

i'm sorry. i'm sorry. but will you let me be selfish one last time?

can i ask you to live for me? to face what i feared most so that i might find peace in my eternal sleep with a smile upon my face?

if it is cruel of me to ask, then i beg you to forgive me. or curse my name and hate me if you must, only live.

only live, my lover so that my life and my death and all that came in between may mean something. may mean everything.

#yes i just watched dead poets society again and yes it made me think some thoughts #no but i can't even think about it properly because that movie always makes me cry so much and now i've got a headache #like literally as soon as the play is over and neil heads for his dad's car--i start crying and i can't stop #and then comes the iconic ''o captain my captain'' scene at the end and i start bawling again #it's just!! so unfair!! and i fuckin love charlie bro!! this time i watched the movie--i noticed something i didn't before #and it's that when all the boys are singing at the school in remembrance of neil--all the guys from the club are singing #EXCEPT FOR CHARLIE!! #just like how when they were doing that exercise on being nonconforming--all the boys were trying to walk around in their own style #EXCEPT FOR CHARLIE! #because charlie was like hey i'm exercising my right to NOT do this exercise--and it's the same thing in the singing scene!! #he's exercising his right to not make himself sing the song when he damn well doesn't feel like it #yeeees nuwanda!!! you go king!! #No Capes AU

poets as greek gods and godness

Neil -  Dionysus. Like cmon he’s the god of the theatre, one of favourite gods back then. It is believed that Dionysus had the power to inspire people to greatness and convince them to fulfill their greatest desires

Todd - Apollo. At first I was thinking about Atena, because like Apollo she’s the godness of poetry, but after all Apollo suits more. He’s not only the god of poetry but also literature, beauty, art and music.

Charlie - this one was hard but I think Hermes. He’s known to be a chotic god, he wanted adventures this is why he’s the herald of the gods, so he can travel and discover new places.

Knox - if we consider fanon knox i would say Eros, the god of love and passion, but i think Mania would suit here better. Mania’s the godness of crazy love, a love where one side is so obsessed with their loved one that it seems unhealthy 

Meeks - and here’s why I didn’t put Athena with Todd. I think it suits Meeks more. He’s a genius. And Athena is not only godness of poetry, but mainly of wisdom and strategy 

Cameron - had to think about it for a while. I come up with Momus, he’s the god of mistakes and in the myths, he had to repent on his sins and learn from their mistakes (I am not a Cameron ati, but even tho I love him, I must admit he did some mistakes and he have to learn from them)

Pitts - I don’t have a specific reason here, just Pan and Pitts give the same vibe to me. Maybe it’s because of that headcanon that Pitts loves nature and birds.

it’s this time of the year

once upon a time, in a faraway land in a small and shitty mall there was this "luxury" store and guess what was it called? ****Trend

there was a girl, poppy was her name she used to work in this place and oh, it was once her safe space but not anymore, what a shame

the job was shitty, that's not a lie her workmates were amazing though they made her laugh, laughed at her jokes (she even befriended the new guy)

and then one day no fun, no more she got the worst news ever "we are transferring you", the bad bitch witch tells her "to a different mall, a different store"

the store was far away from poppy's and her new team couldn't accept her there was one guy who fucking hated her she couldn't take it, she wrote her notice

i guess you can say she wrote her way out but she still had to stay for quite some time tried to be nice to them, was that a crime? "i will survive this, without a doubt"

crying sessions in the bathroom that was poppy's way to cope but then one day she just said "nope" new idea, sick leave, BOOM!

who's laughing now? i guess not them she's gonna have long christmas break she knows for sure that wasn't a mistake that's why now she is writing this poem

she also got a new job offer her teerico merch is on the way good things are coming, also, hey! she's taking the job, it starts next year!
