#yelena belova imagine
Summary: After losing your mother, you are absolutely devastated. So is your girlfriend, Wanda. But when Yelena Belova walks into both of your lives, is it possible that something beautiful could come from all this grief?
Pairing: Yelena Belova x Wanda Maximoff x Romanoff!Reader
Word Count: 3.2k
Warnings: grief, rip Nat :(, some violence? It get’s angsty but has a happy ending I swear!
A/N: Vision doesn’t die in this one, just because it’s easier for all the women to have a connection specifically with Nat. But, I mean, he’s not really mentioned so I guess if you want to imagine him as dead that works too lol. Also bestie Wanda doesn’t get blipped in this one! And finally, I’m describing Nat and Yelena’s relationship as a mentor/mentee type vibe in this one, simply because I think it would be weird for Yelena to be like “lol she was like my sister but sweet home Alabama amirite” so I hope that’s okay! Please enjoy!
“Clint, where’s Nat?”
The expression on his face made your heart drop.
“Clint,” you started.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered.
“Clint, where is my mom?” you said, your voice wavering.
“She told me to tell you she loves you always,” he said quietly, approaching you, but you backed away.
“No,” you said, “She’s not. She can’t. Why would she? How could you let her do that?! You let her die!” you screamed, falling to your knees. Your body wracked with sobs.
Your mom was gone. She wasn’t coming back.
You let out a cry of agony, unable to feel anything but grief for the loss of your mother.
A pair of arms wrapped around you, and upon recognizing them, you turned around and sobbed into Wanda’s shoulder.
“I’m here, detka. I’m so sorry. I’m here,” she said softly to you, tears rolling down her cheeks as well at the loss of her mentor.
You numbly got your suit ready for battle as Wanda entered your room. Her eyes softened at the broken look on your face.
“Y/N, nobody would be upset if you decided to sit this one out,” she said gently, but you shook your head.
“No. I have to do this. For her. I refuse to let her death be in vain,” you said shakily, tears making their way out of your eyes again.
Wanda nodded. “Let’s go win this, then. For her.”
And you did. You won.
It was a beautiful ceremony on a beautiful day. Some might say otherwise, considering it was raining, but you just thought it made things even more special. Natasha loved the rain, it was her favorite type of weather. “It’s like the world is giving me a fresh start; washing away the past and letting me start anew,” she would say.
But, on a day like this, you couldn’t fathom how the world could be telling you to start anew after the death of one of the most important people in your life.
Nat had adopted you when you were five years old. She found you in a Hydra base, and the two of you had connected instantly. She didn’t let you go after that day. She was there through the laughs, the smiles, but also the pain, the trauma. She was the one who would sing you to sleep after a nightmare, holding you close. She was your protector. Your мама. And now that she was gone, you weren’t sure if you wanted a fresh start.
Wanda held your hand throughout the process of planning the funeral. She had loved Nat almost as much as you had. Natasha had become Wanda’s mentor when she first joined the compound, and after noticing the two of you dancing around your feelings, she had been the one to give Wanda the final push to ask you out. It was because of her that you and Wanda were together. She had your mom to thank for her being with the love of her life. She just wishes Nat was still around so she could thank her.
She was broken out of her thoughts as you finished your eulogy.
“Ya lyublyu tebya, mama,” you said with tears streaming down your face. You cleared your throat before adding, “If anyone else would like to say a few words about мама, you are welcome to do so now.”
Wanda stood as you walked away from the podium and greeted you with a tight hug, stroking your hair and whispering soothing words into your ear.
You all sat there for a full two hours as various Avengers and Ex-Shield Agents (and even Nick Fury himself) went up to the podium and shared fond memories of your mother. You all laughed and cried over the memory of your mother. You were devastated, yes, but it warmed your heart to know that your mom was so loved, and that her memory would live on.
That night, you and Wanda sat in solemn silence, watching Natasha’s favorite show as you simply held each other. The rain had continued to fall, but you didn’t mind; it merely made you feel closer to your mother. Then there was a knock at the door.
You and Wanda both shot up at the sound. Following the events of the recent battle against Thanos, and the chaos in the world, there were plenty of people who weren’t exactly supportive of the Avengers. So whenever there was an unexpected visitor, it threw the two of you into intruder mode.
Wanda summoned her chaos magic in her hands as you grabbed the gun hidden in your bedroom. You approached the door with caution, opening it to find a blonde woman on the other side, staring at the two of you with wide eyes. She was stunning, to say the least. But you shook that thought out of your head as soon as you could, missing the quick but curious glance that Wanda sent your way.
“Who are you?’ You asked dangerously, pointing the gun at her as Wanda readied herself to fight.
“Oh, I swear I don’t mean any harm-” she began in a thick Russian accent, but Wanda cut her off.
“She asked you a question,” she said coldly, tilting her head at the girl.
“I’m Yelena. Yelena Belova. I came to attend Natasha’s funeral, but I was travelling from Russia and my flight was delayed due to storms here in America, but I’m-”
“Yelena?” You asked with wide eyes, your gun immediately dropped on the ground as you quickly reached out to engulf the woman in a hug.
She visibly tensed, unsure of what to make of this sudden physical contact. You pulled away with apologetic eyes, almost as if you had just realized your actions.
“I’m so sorry,” you began, “It’s just, my mom talked so much about you and I hoped I would meet you someday but I-”
“You’re her daughter?” Yelena asked with soft eyes.
You nodded, both of you at a loss for words.
Wanda stepped beside you, taking your hand and squeezing gently as if to convey a message.
You snapped out of your thoughts as she did so.
“Oh! Right, sorry. Would you like to come inside?”
Yelena glanced between the two of you, a guilty look on her face.
“Are you sure? I don’t mean to-”
“Please,” Wanda started, smiling at Yelena kindly, “We insist.”
The three of you stayed up for most of the night, sharing countless memories of Natasha.
When your laughter from the most recent story had died down, Yelena smiled at you and Wanda softly.
“You know, I find it kind of comforting that it happened to rain today of all days. Natasha used to say that it was like-”
“The world was giving her a chance to start anew,” the three of you said in unison, smiling at each other at the shared knowledge of Nat.
“Kind of hard to see how I can start anew. Live a life without her,” you said quietly after a while.
“Well, the rain washes away some of the old, yes,” Yelena started, “but other things it merely helps to grow.”
Wanda nods, smiling at Yelena’s helpful words. “Like the flowers,” Wanda added.
Yelena smiles back at her. “Yes, the flowers. And like the flowers, your love for your mother will only continue to grow from this. It doesn’t have to come to an end. Her memory can continue to grow and live on.”
You nodded, tears flowing down your face. “Yeah, you’re right. Thank you,” you said softly to the both of them.
They merely smiled at you, Wanda taking your hand in hers and squeezing it comfortingly, as a silent promise.
Her memory would live on.
You and Wanda invited Yelena to stay with you after that night. You figured since you shared a bond with Nat that was unique to the three of you, that it would help all of you in the healing process to be with each other.
Six months. That’s how long Yelena had been staying with you.
Throughout that time, there were little things that began happening that you and Wanda barely noticed, such as date nights between the two of you becoming scarce; instead you would both opt to spend the night in with Yelena, watching movies and sharing stories.
Or how when you would be catching up with the rest of the Avengers on video calls, your stories slowly shifted from “Wanda and I” to “Yelena, Wanda, and I”.
Or how your nightmares had slowly stopped. How the tears became a rarity. How your smile began to light up the room more often than not. How you were okay.
Until one night you did notice.
You, Wanda, and Yelena were having one of your many movie nights when it began to rain. The three of you shared a soft smile at that. But then a clap of thunder sounded and you nearly jumped out of your own skin in fear.
Two pairs of concerned eyes were on yours and suddenly Yelena and Wanda were at your side.
“Are you okay, moya lyubov?” Wanda asked
You nodded, your eyes still wide with fear, causing your reassurances to be very unconvincing.
“Yeah, just...thunderstorms, you know?”
You hated thunderstorms with a passion. They terrified you. Your mom had always been the one to hold you through them and rock you back and forth, singing you sweet lullabies to get you to fall asleep.
Since she had passed, Wanda had taken on that role as much as possible.
But now, Yelena is the first to make physical contact with you, placing her hand on your leg comfortingly.
The action causes butterflies to erupt in your stomach and blush to coat your cheeks. Wait what?
The thought left your mind when another rumble of thunder sounded through the night. You began to shake, hugging yourself to calm yourself down.
Yelena looked to Wanda questioningly, as if asking how she could help.
“I’m going to make her some tea to calm her down, and I’ll plug in her heated blanket in the bedroom. Could you stay with her?” Wanda asked.
“Of course,” Yelena answered without hesitation.
Wanda smiled gratefully and placed a kiss to your forehead before leaving the room.
“Y/N?” Yelena asked, noting the far-off look in your eyes.
“Can you...nevermind,” you mumbled, eyes cast down at the ground.
“Y/N, what is it?” Yelena pushed.
You sighed, knowing it was the only way you would be able to feel safe.
“Could you maybe, like, hold me? God, I know it sounds stupid, sorry, I shouldn’t have-”
But Yelena was already wrapping her arms around you and holding you close.
You sighed at the feeling, feeling unbelievably safe in her strong arms.
“I’ve got you,” Yelena says softly.
You merely nod, not having the energy to do anything else, before letting your eyes droop and sleep take over you.
Wanda enters the room soon after you’ve fallen asleep. At the sight of you curled up in Yelena’s arms, her heart practically melted. It was only when she felt the love for the girl holding you radiating from your form that she felt she could’ve sighed in relief.
You see, Wanda had been feeling things recently. Things for a certain blonde. And she felt overwhelmed with guilt. I mean, of course she still loved you. She loved you more than words could describe. But she was feeling a similar feeling for Yelena. She hoped it would pass, but of course, it didn’t. It merely grew stronger as time went on.
And now, she felt as though she could breathe easy, because she knew she wasn’t alone. You, too, were feeling what she was. She composed herself before smiling softly at Yelena and sitting beside her.
“Thank you for looking after her,” Wanda says quietly, as not to wake the sleeping girl in Yelena’s arms.
Yelena’s eyes never leave your sleeping form as she replies.
When you woke, you were in your bed, Wanda awake beside you, smiling softly down at you.
“Good morning, lyubov,” she greeted.
You smiled at her.
“Good morning, Wanda.”
She didn’t miss the way your eyes flitted to the door, as if expecting someone to enter.
“Yelena is at the store. We were running low on groceries,” she informed you with a knowing smirk.
You looked at her in confusion.
“What’s that look for?”
She takes your hand.
“I think we need to talk about Yelena.”
It was then that you realized she could read minds, and you knew she knew. You shot up, eyes wide with guilt, your breathing becoming slightly frantic.
“Wanda, I didn’t mean to...I don’t want to...I can’t lose you…” you rambled, eyes filling with tears.
Wanda’s eyes softened and she pulled you into her arms. “Oh, sweetheart. You won’t lose me. I feel the same way,” she explained.
You looked up at her. “Wait, you do?” You asked hopefully and she smiled brightly at you.
“So...what does that mean for us?”
She shrugged. “I think it means we invite her to join our relationship.”
Your eyes visibly lit up and her heart warmed at the sight.
“Okay. Let’s tell her.”
Yelena looked at the two of you with concerned eyes as you sat in front of her in the living room, both of you practically bubbling with nerves.
“Is everything alright?” She asked hesitantly.
“We love you.” You blurted out before slapping a hand over your mouth at the boldness of your sudden confession.
Yelena was gaping at the both of you with wide eyes.
‘That wasn’t part of our speech we planned, detka,’ Wanda’s voice sounded through your head and you winced. She merely rolled her eyes at your silence and took over.
“What Y/N is trying to say,” Wanda began, “Is that we talked it over, and we both have feelings for you. Of the romantic nature. And we’d like for you to join our relationship.”
Yelena gulped. Silence engulfed the room and it became suffocating.
“Sorry if we-”
“I have to go.” Yelena stated suddenly.
Your heart dropped.
“I have unfinished business in Russia,” she lied. You and Wanda saw right through it, but didn’t want to make things more tense.
“When do you leave?” Wanda asked quietly.
“Oh,” is all you said.
“I should go pack.”
And with that, Yelena left the room.
Two weeks. She had only been gone two weeks, but you and Wanda were struggling because of it. You had both put yourselves out there and gotten your hearts broken.
You were curled up on the couch and Wanda was in the shower when it happened.
A knock sounded at the door. You still had hope, even after two weeks of no contact from her. So you jumped up from your spot and rushed to open the door.
But it wasn’t Yelena at the door.
It was a stranger. He had a deadly look in your eye and you gulped nervously.
“You. You’re that Black Widow bitch’s daughter.”
Your eyes widened.
“Fuck her and the rest of the Avengers. They’re scum. I wish I could’ve killed her myself, but I guess you’ll have to do,” he sneered, raising his gun at you.
You didn’t have time to react before a gunshot rang out through the apartment. You gasped and he ran.
You looked down to see a red spot on your stomach, growing larger by the second.
A panicked voice sounded behind you.
“Y/N?! What was-” You turned around and she gasped as she saw the blood on your hands and stomach dripping onto the floor.
“I’m sorry,” you said. And then you collapsed.
Yelena wasn’t in Russia. God, no. She was staying in a hotel on the opposite side of town as she figured out where to go from here. She was looking at new apartments when her phone rang for the umpteenth time. She sighed, finally checking the caller ID. Her eyes widened as she saw Wanda’s name on the screen. She tossed the phone away from her.
A minute later, she got a notification for a voicemail. She took a deep breath and pressed play.
Wanda’s voice began to sound throughout the trashy hotel room.
“Yelena. I know you left, and I know you likely want nothing to do with us, but I had to let you know. Y/N is in the hospital. She’s in critical condition. I have no idea how it happened. I should’ve been there to protect her but I stepped away for a moment to shower and I-”
There was a pause.
“You probably don’t give a shit, I don’t know why I’m calling, I’m sorry. Hope you’re doing well.”
And then it was silent.
Tears were streaming down Yelena’s face as she decided what she needed to do.
You woke up to a bright light and an aggravating beeping beside you. You tried to sit up but groaned in pain.
“Malyshka, no, lay back down,” a voice said, and your head snapped to the source at the familiarity of it. There, sitting beside you, was none other than Yelena.
“What are you-”
“She came to see you. To see us,” Wanda said softly, taking your hand.
“But, I thought you left. I thought you didn’t care about-” but Yelena cut you off with the shake of her head.
“No. That’s just not true,” she denied.
You sighed. “Then why-”
She took your other hand. That shut you up pretty quickly.
“Because I was scared,” she started. “I was scared and so I ran. It was so wrong of me and I’m so sorry. But when I heard you were hurt? God, I immediately realized. I feel the same way. For both of you.” She took Wanda’s hand as well.
“What are you scared of?” You asked softly, squeezing her hand.
“I just…” She trailed off, and Wanda’s eyes glowed red briefly before she cut in.
“She thinks it’s a little morbid that we all met because of your mom’s death,” she said.
Yelena looked at her with wide eyes, to which Wanda simply shrugged and tapped her temple. “Mind reader, remember?”
You spoke up. “What is it you said when we first met? That things can grow from a fresh start? Love can grow?”
“Like the flowers,” Wanda added gently, smiling softly at you and Yelena.
Almost as if on cue, you looked out the window of your hospital room to see rain beginning to fall.
The three of you looked outside in awe.
“I love you, Y/N. I love you, Wanda.” Yelena blurted out. “I’m done hiding it.”
“We love you too,” you and Wanda said at the same time.
Yelena kissed Wanda softly, before separating and connecting her lips with yours. Once you pulled away, you looked at the two girls.
They laughed at your antics before getting onto the hospital bed and settling in on either side of you. The three of you talked, laughed, and exchanged tender kisses for hours before your two girlfriends finally fell asleep.
You smiled softly at them before looking out the window once more, admiring the rain.
“Thanks, мама,” you whispered.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed! Sorry for taking so long to post it, I had major writer’s block with this one! Hopefully I’ll be posting more often now!

could we request some yelena belova fluff? :(
i love how it sounds like a group of you have banded together to request something XD i actually had to do some research into yelena bc she isn't a character i know very well yet but i'll give it my best shot
It took a little while to figure out where my girlfriend was- she wasn't at home, she hadn't texted to ask if I wanted anything so I knew she wasn't at the store and while she occasionally forgot to tell me if she was going on a mission, she was getting better at it. It was a little weird for her to have someone genuinely worried for her but she was adapting.
I concluded that the most likely place she would therefore be was at the gym. There was a gym a few blocks away from where we lived that Yelena liked to train at- I enjoyed watching her for the single reason that she could take down anyone who thought they could stand against her. That meant seeing cocky assholes taken down a peg or two when they were bodily slammed against the floor.
A quick text to Yelena earned a quicker text back to say she was on her way home, of course she was, she'd memorised my timetable at work. Despite her tough exterior, Yelena was a sweetheart- she left the gym a little after she knew I'd get home to allow for me to have a little time to unwind alone.
After a few minutes, in which I busied myself finding some of the snacks in the cupboard, there came the sound of the door openind and closing, and Yelena quietly made her way to the bedroom to put down her workout bag before joining me in the kitchen.
"How was your day, Котик*?" She kissed my cheek and swiped a cookie from the packet I'd laid on the counter before swinging herself up to sit on said counter.
I grinned at her as she nibbled the snack. "It was okay, nothing particularly exciting happened." I nudged her knees apart to stand between her legs. "How was the gym?"
She rolled her eyes. "This one Мудак** would not stop harrassing people. He was taking over the equipment and refused to leave this girl alone."
I threw a warning glance at her. "You asked him to stop nicely before going any further, right?" Her laugh was not encouraging.
"I love that you think I gave him a chance." Yelena booped your nose. "Do not worry, I only broke two ribs, I was very careful."
Despite myself, I smiled at her- the guy probably deserved it, and maybe next time he'll think twice about being a dick in public, especially when my kickass girlfriend was around.
She lightly pushed me away and hopped down from the counter. "So, now we are both at home, would you like to cook, would you like me to cook, would you like to go out to eat or would you like to order takeout?" She was rifling through a drawer trying to find takeout menus.
"Since you're kindly giving me the illusion of choice-" Yelena shot me a look of mock injury, but still held a few menus in her hands. "-I shall choose to order takeout, provided you go put away your workout stuff and get changed. And babe, try not to scare the delivery person when they get here, okay?"
Yelena held her hand over her heart, pretending to be offended. "I have no idea what you are talking about. But fine- pick some dinner and I shall be back in a minute or two." I watched her vanish into the bedroom to deal with her workout gear.
It took two seconds before my attention was arrested by a bang from where she was, and I ran in.
"Yelena? What the hell-?" I stared at my girlfriend, the superspy, vicious and ruthless assassin, as she stared up at me guiltily, clearly hoping to god that I didn't notice the brand new bullet hole in the wall. I shook my head.
"I don't want to know."
i really hope you liked this, its just a short lil fic about domestic life bc i always equate fluff with domesticity apparently lol
thank you so much for the request!!

"You weren't an Avenger. You couldn't harm a fly, you got sad when a leaf didn't crunch after being stepped on, you hated watching horror movies because you would then be forced to wonder whether someone's under the bed or in your closet. Needless to say, it was quite odd that you were dating one of the most dangerous women you could think of. That wasn't saying much though, considering the fact that you knew of very few deadly women.
Nevertheless, you loved your girlfriend, Yelena, and you knew she loved you back. You, however, knew nothing of how she presented herself to everyone else. Everyone was mostly surprised that Yelena would be in a relationship in the first place, not to mention how much you obviously loved her. They would see you visit the complex whenever she was there, sometimes with a plate of some delicious homemade baked goods or maybe pizzas from the best pizzeria in town, and it would make them wonder why you loved her so much when she seemed to not feel the same way. Little did they know the true nature of your relationship.
Yelena's sides only began to show as you visited her more often, all cuddly and lovey just for her. You would notice how some of the other Avengers gawked at you when she pulled you into a big bearhug or how confused they looked whenever they caught her peppering kisses all over your face. You only really learned how the Avengers viewed her when you were caught in a battle with some villain they were currently facing.
You didn't mean to get caught in the midst of such danger. It just happened so quickly that you couldn't get away in time. Yelena saw you from across the battlefield in the city block and had to keep herself from panicking. Seeing you there, in such a dangerous position, gave her such an adrenaline rush that made her forget about everything except for putting the villain down to get you out of there.
Somehow, the fight was over quicker than it had started, mainly because Yelena just moved and moved until it was over. You watched in amazement at how your girlfriend flipped and twirled around, missing every bullet and laser pointed her way. You honestly weren't sure what she did, but you knew it was over when the villain fell to the ground, their only weapon broken beyond the point of repair.
Once the villain was locked away in the back of a SHIELD truck and it drove off, you and Yelena ran to each other, so glad that the other was alive. "Are you alright?" She asked frantically, hoping beyond hope that you weren't hurt.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm okay. Are you?"
"As long as you're okay, I am too."
You stared into her deep brown eyes for a moment before pressing your lips against hers. This wasn't any regular kiss. It wasn't steamy, but it wasn't simple either. There was so much emotion in this kiss that fueled it and made it so meaningful. It made you happier than words could express to see that she was alright, hence the kiss.
As your lips parted, you leaned your forehead against hers, closing your eyes to savor the moment. You heard her whisper something, likely in Russian, but your ears were ringing too loud for you to hear. Plus, Russian was very much not your strong suit. She pulled away and took your hand in her own, leading you back to the quinjet so you could be away from all the rubble and destruction.
Once you were nearly on the ship, you looked back, hearing someone talking. You saw Steve and Natasha standing side-by-side, watching the strong, cold Yelena they knew soften for you.
"But Yelena worships them?" Steve asked Natasha, honestly confused as to how Yelena's demeanor could change so quickly for you.
"In ways beyond our imagination."

Natasha: Dandelions symbolize everything I want to be in life.
Yelena: Fluffy and dead with a gust of wind?
Natasha: Unapologetic. Hard to kill. Feral, filled with sunlight, bright, beautiful in a way that the conventional and controlling hate but cannot ever fully destroy. Stubborn. Happy. Bastardous. Friends with bees. Highly disapproving of lawns. Full of wishes that will be carried far after I die.
Y/N, smirking: Edible.
Yelena: ... I swear to god...

moya lyubov – (my love)
The two of you lay on your backs above the covers, staring at the ceiling as you caught your breath. You felt the bed shift as the woman beside you sat up to put some clothes on but refrained from watching. Why, you didn't know. Once she had on a pair of shorts and a random t-shirt, she went to the dresser and pulled out another random shirt, tossing it to you so you weren't completely bare.
As Yelena got back into bed with you, she continued to look at the ceiling for a moment before turning to you. "I love you. You know that, right?" You rolled over to face her, your brow furrowed. "Of course, I do. What, do you think I didn't believe it when you told me that no less than five times within the past hour or so?"
"No, I just...I need to know you know I'm not an emotionless monster."
"I know, my love. I know you aren't a monster. People make mistakes, and I know you're just trying to right the wrongs from your past."
Tears sprung to her eyes, daring to glide down her sweat-lined cheeks as she smiled at you. "You're so good. Too good. The world doesn't deserve you, moya lyubov." She pulled you close and kissed your cheeks, a stray tear rolling down her own as she did so. As she pulled away, the Russian lay down facing the ceiling. After snuggling up to her, she took your hand and intertwined your fingers with her own. Pulling your hand up to her soft lips, she pressed a gentle kiss to the back of your hand.
"I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and kiss you good morning."
Something about what she had said made you so happy, like you had found the only person for you. She was your person and you were hers. As long as you knew that, you didn't need anything more. Yelena was all you needed.

032 "Who changed the thermostat settings? I’m freezing to death."
033 "Can we just watch a movie and fall asleep on the couch?"
034 "You can put your cold feet on me."
035 "Your stray red item turned my whites pink."
036 "A thunderstorm is rolling through town and you’re scared of lightening/thunder so I’ll protect you."
037 "There was a power outage and now we have to have dinner by candlelight."
038 "Rock Paper Scissors to see who has to go talk to the neighbors upstairs for being too loud."
039 "I just came home to you crying while watching a movie, please tell me what’s going on."
040 "Our AC is out and it’s the middle of the summer."
041 "You found me crying on the kitchen floor in the middle of the night surrounded by a shattered jelly jar."
042 "My parents are coming over in 10 minutes so please put some clothes on"
043 "We’re repainting the apartment and going to the hardware store together to pick out color swatches."
044 "IF YOU USE UP ALL THE HOT WATER ONE MORE TIME IM GOING TO BAN YOU TO THE COUCH FOR A MONTH."
045 "We’re watching Toy Story 3 and we can’t stop crying."
046 "I caught the bouquet"
047 "My ex just invited me to their wedding and I need you to be my date so it doesn’t look like I’ve spent the last few years failing to get over them."
048 "We accidentally got married in Vegas oops"
049 "I’m really drunk, please help me get safely out of the way so I don’t ruin our friend’s wedding."
050 "I planned out this super romantic proposal and you just ruined it by beating me to whole proposing thing."
051 "I wasn’t planning on asking you, but it appeared to me that life is short. Will you marry me? "
052 "If you shove cake in my face this will be the worst wedding night of your life."
053 "Do you take this man/woman to be your lawfully wedded husband/wife? "
054 "May I have this dance, wife/husband? "
055 "You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I’m so happy I can finally call you my wife/husband."
056 "I jokingly told you that the only way I’d marry you was if you did this weird outlandish thing, and you actually did it, and I’m kind of charmed."
057 "This is probably a bad time, but marry me?"
058 "We’ve become the clingy newlyweds you always complained about. "
059 "Your ‘miracle hangover cure’ couldn’t possibly beat mine."
060 "I know you haven’t had the best experience with dogs in the past but look at its face please please can we keep it?"
061 "I wanted to surprise you for our anniversary, but everything that could go wrong, did go wrong."
062 "I beat you at Mario Kart and now you're banishing me to the couch for the night?”
063 "I surprised you with tickets to see our favorite band… WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU SURPRISED ME WITH TICKETS TO SEE THEM TOO?"
064 "I know we had a big fight but we still need to decorate the house for the holidays."
065 "Oh! Hey! Could you come and taste this to see if it's okay?"
066 "We’re arguing over book versus movie."
067 "I came home to a Nerf gun on the front porch and a note that says ‘Here is your weapon. I have one too. Loser cooks dinner. Good luck. xo’"
068 "We’ve been celebrating our wedding anniversary on the wrong day for the past nine years."
069 "You had a business trip and I missed you so much that I kind of tore up the house in your absence like a dog with separation anxiety… sorry?"
070 "We both have nowhere else to be so we get to spend our rare day off at home."
071 "I bet it’s a girl/boy."
072 "Do you think it’s possible that I…might be… pregnant? "
073 "I thought I was pregnant but the test must have been wrong. I’m not. "
074 "You’re lucky I’m pregnant!"
075 "Can you help me up, your child is pretty heavy."
076 "I could really use a foot rub right now."
077 "Your dad is really excited to meet you soon, it’s driving me crazy."
078 "Do you wanna know the sex of the baby?"
079 "The baby’s kicks are keeping me up at night."
080 "Did you feel that?"
081 "I can’t fit into my favorite dress anymore. "
082 "OH MY GOD I’M GOING INTO LABOR. WHAT DO WE DO NOW?!
083 "I can’t be pregnant… or….OH MY GOD! "
084 "I think you might be pregnant.”
085 "It’s 2 am but you’re craving cake and we’re both up anyway so let’s bake in our underwear."
086 "I knew it was a mistake to get the twins matching clothes."
087 "Sh…they’re asleep."
088 "I think someone had a little accident with the finger paint."
089 "Mondays are your diaper days."
090 "Our kid is totally the one who wanted to build a pillow fort, not me."
091 "Ooh…someone’s got a tummy ache."
092 "Are you sure you don’t want me to drop them off myself? I don’t think you could handle seeing them off alone."
093 "I told you we should have just gotten that German Shepherd puppy."
094 "What do you think for their punishment? Grounding? No video games? No going out for a week?"
095 "Mm…your kid before five in the morning."
096 "Come on now, I think you’re being too harsh. He/she’s just a kid. Remember all of the stupid things we used to do when we were their age?"
097 "So, how should we break the news that they’re going to have a new baby brother or sister?"
098 "I think we should have another."
099 "Why wasn’t I invited to your wedding?"
100 "Okay fine, one more story, but then you really have to go to bed."
101 "…They just grow up so fast."

AYYY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REQUESTS may we please have protective!yelena comforting the reader after the reader had a successful but unfortunately very traumatic mission? thank you so much 😘😘
wife!yelena belova x avenger!reader
word count: 1.1k words
a/n: y'all keep spoiling me with these yelena requests (not that i mind at all, of course). i might have something special coming soon (not completely sure though, so don't get your hopes up). enjoy :)
warnings: violence, gory imagery, mentions of implied kidnapping, supposed murder, guns
requests are open!
malysh – (baby)
milyy – (darling)
Usually, your missions went smoothly, and you came out mostly unscathed, physically and emotionally. However, there was the occasional mission that left you a bit more hurt than the others. None had been too bad, but that all changed in the Julian Alps mission.
At first, it seemed like just any other reconnaissance mission: get in, survey the area, get out–nothing out of the ordinary for you. However, as you explored further into the HYDRA base, you came across more unsettling things. You saw horribly mangled bodies, which you had to assume were that of humans as it was unclear. They were strewn around a cave-like room, faces and limbs horrifyingly warped and even missing.
You walked through the base, nearly having to swim a some points due to the massive amounts of rain that had destroyed the building. It took you a while to notice that, at some points, you were practically wading through pools of blood. All of that was quite gross, but that wasn't what really messed you up.
As you wandered through what seemed to previously have been a laboratory, you came across a metal surgical table. On the table was a person. Whether they were male or female, you were unable to tell since their face was covered. As you approached the table, the person struggled to be released from their bonds which held them snuggly to the table. Suddenly, you felt an ice cold hand on your wrist. Startled, you pulled the trigger of the pistol in your hands. You were only supposed to use it in case of emergency. You weren't completely prepared for that though, which you only found out once you realized what you had done. You dropped the gun, raising your hands to your face as you stared at the now lifeless body.
"What have I done," you whispered as a single tear ran down your cheek. You didn't know what to do, so you just ran. You ran as far as your legs would take you. You saw blood spatters and bodies which you hadn't seen earlier. Maybe it was just your distraught mind playing tricks on you, but how could you be sure? Eventually, you found yourself back in the small town in which you had been lodging in until the mission was completed. At this point, you were so shaken up about what you had done that you considered the mission completed enough to return home. So, after boarding a quinjet and setting it to autopilot so you could quickly complete the mission report, you were flying home.
As was protocol, you flew directly to the SHIELD headquarters to turn in your mission report to Director Fury, then, went home.
Once you arrived at the house you shared in the suburbs with your wife, Yelena Belova, you stayed in the car for a while, which turned out to be nearly 30 minutes. How were you supposed to face your wife after what you had done? You knew she had done that and more many times before you, but that was somehow normal. You, on the other hand, were not an assassin. Nor were you a killer. Well, technically, you were, but it's not your norm.
Questions raced through your mind as you sat in silence. Was this how Yelena felt every time she killed someone? How many people has she killed? What will happen if SHIELD or any of the Avengers find out about what you had done? Who was that on the table? Did I put them out of their misery?
You couldn't stop asking yourself questions until you looked up and saw your wife standing in the doorway of your home. You stepped out of the car and walked over to her, just wanting to be in her embrace.
"Why are you crying? Are you alright?"
"I'm not. It's just the rain."
"It's not raining, malysh. What's wrong? What happened?"
You pushed past her, not wanting to unpack everything outside your home. You would much rather do it in the comfort of your bed or on your couch with a blanket, tea, and your wife. She followed after you, trying to get you to talk to her about whatever was going on.
"Please, tell me what's going on. I want to help-"
"I think I killed someone."
Her lips parted slightly, not expecting that response. "You...you 'think?' You aren't sure?" As she spoke, you began pacing the room, going from one side to the other as you thought about everything.
"I-I don't know. I just felt a hand, and I shot." You stopped pacing, unable to bring yourself to look at her for a moment. With tears in your eyes, you took a shaky breath and turned around. "What am I gonna do? What if they find out?"
"Who finds out?"
"HYDRA? SHIELD? The other Avengers? I don't know."
The two of you stared at each other, searching for something to say and coming up with nothing. What were you supposed to say at a time like this? Neither of you knew. Yelena looked away, trying to think of what to do. Her thoughts were interrupted by the soft sounds of your sobbing, which immediately made her wrap her arms around you. Her touch made you feel better, but only slightly.
"Hey, it's okay. Everyone makes-"
"But it's not okay, Lena! I'm a killer. I killed someone! I murdered someone for no good reason!"
"No, you're not. This is not who you are...I know you better than that."
"How could you know me if I don't even know myself anymore?"
Again, neither of you knew what to say. You both were so confused and scared. It was debilitating. Despite that, Yelena's touch, no- her presence just made everything better, even if it only helped slightly. Leading you to the couch a few feet away, you and the blonde sat down together, waiting for the other to say or do something. Finally, you couldn't stand the silence anymore and spoke up.
"I'm scared, Yelena. And tired, and guilty, and weak, and...I just don't know what to do."
"It's okay to be scared sometimes. And you don't have to be strong all the time. You showed me that. I don't know what we'll do either, but I do know one thing: we'll do it together. Wherever you go, I'm there."
You smiled, a tear gliding down your cheek gracefully which your wife wiped away with her thumb. Feeling incredibly fatigued, you rested your head on her chest, needing her embrace to feel comfortable and safe.
"Close your eyes, milyy. I'll be here when you open them again."
That seemed to be all you needed to hear because shortly after, you were fast asleep. Once Yelena knew you were asleep, she slowly chased you to a peaceful slumber.

kushay govno, suka – (eat shit, bitch)
malyshka – (baby)
It was a rare occurrence for you and Yelena to go to bars or out dancing. The two of you were often more than happy to just stay home, watch movies, cook together, and cuddle. However, there were a few times that you just wanted to party, so once your girlfriend agreed, you got dressed up and went out for a night on the town together.
You stepped out of your car, taking Yelena's hand as you went into the club. Even while you were outside, you could hear some Britney Spears song blasting, which you were pretty sure was Gimme More. As you stepped inside, you raised a hand to shield your eyes from the sudden burst of colorful lights shining directly into your eyes. After a moment, Yelena led you to the bar, sitting down on a stool beside you before ordering some drink. It was so loud that you couldn't even hear what she had ordered, but you assumed it was vodka or something like that. You ordered your drink and looked around, seeing the mass of bodies clashing carelessly on the dance floor to the beat.
"I'll be right back," Yelena shouted into your ear before disappearing in the crowd. You didn't mind and just continued watching people dance. You felt a large hand on your waist, causing you to turn around quickly. "Hey, baby. What are you doing here all alone?" You stared at the guy for a moment, shifting in your seat as if you say you were already uncomfortable.
Your lack of response made the guy frustrated. "Are you going to answer me?"
"I have a girlfriend."
"She doesn't need to know, baby. How 'bout we go back to my place?"
You shook your head, whispering a quiet 'no,' but that didn't scare him off. "Come on, I'm a nice guy. Just let me show you a good time."
"No, please go away."
"Damn, why are you being so rude? I just came over here to ask if you wanted to hang out. You know, I like putting little brats like you in their place," the man said through gritted teeth as he grabbed your waist, pulling you in to be a mere few inches from him. You shuddered as he kissed your neck, intent on leaving some kind of mark.
"Let go of me!" You yelled and squirmed, finally breaking out of his bruising grip. You frantically ran to the bathroom to get away from him. You locked yourself in one of the stalls, willing yourself not to cry.
As tears began to spill down your face, you heard the bathroom door swing open quickly and the familiar click of Yelena's boots.
"Are you okay, malyshka? What happened?"
You saw her feet stop outside the stall you sat in and took a deep breath before explaining what happened. She went silent, which you knew meant she was angry. She was fuming at that guy and wanted to kill him, but she needed to comfort you and know you were alright.
"Can you come here?"
You sniffled, wiping tears away from your eyes before unlocking the door and stepping out to face her. She immediately wrapped her arms around you, stroking your hair slightly as you buried your face into her neck. The blonde began to shush you and whisper sweet nothings to you as you sobbed into her shirt.
Soon enough, you had stopped crying, and Yelena took a step back. "Are you okay now?" You simply nodded, not wanting to talk about it any further. "Okay, good."
Before you knew it, your girlfriend was gone, storming over to find the man. You chased after her to stop her, but it was too late. As they came into view, the guy was turning around, a cheeky grin on his face. His expression quickly faded as Yelena punched him as hard as she could square in the face. He stepped back, clutching his nose as he swore at Yelena. She grabbed his shirt, pulled him toward her, and kneed him right in the crotch. He doubled over, falling to the ground while groaning loudly in pain.
"Kushay govno, suka," she yelled, spitting on him before grabbing your hand and practically dragging you out of the club. She had a feeling that police or security would be coming soon, so she thought it best to get out as quickly as possible.
Once you got to the car, you let out a small laugh. "You sure you're okay," Yelena asked, just needing to make sure that you were feeling better.
"After that? Fuck yeah."
"Good. Let me know if I ever need to beat up creeps for you."

hi! can we pls get a yelena x reader where yelena introduces r to natasha and the rest of the avengers and is like nervous for it because she wants them to get along? thank you!! :))
yelena belova x reader
word count: 1.1k words
a/n: ok so i love y'all for all the yelena requests (am i addicted to her? maybe, but so are y'all). anyways, i just went with the original 6 for ease...it isn't my best, but whatever. enjoy :)
warnings: none, just hella fluff
requests are open!
Finally, the day had come. At long last, you were finally going to meet the Avengers. More importantly, you were going to meet Natasha, someone Yelena regarded as a sister. You knew they had grown up together and some common information about her, but other than that, you were essentially clueless. You knew nearly nothing of her past, especially the more "criminal" parts as one might describe them.
Though you didn't know, Yelena was incredibly nervous. She felt more nervous about this than she did for any of the missions she went on. Before you woke up, she even puked. Nevertheless, she hid it well enough to go unnoticed. She kept reassuring herself that her worries were unfounded. She had no reason to think they wouldn't like you. But with that being said, she knew they could be...judgy. For all she knew, Natasha could be in one of those moods she had every so often where she was just so incredibly dismissive, and maybe Tony would try to pick you apart until all you had left were your flaws. Maybe Clint had better things to do with his family, or Thor was off chasing Loki, or Bruce was doing his science experiments or something like that. What if Steve was...no, everything will be fine. "Nothing to worry about," she mumbled to herself on the drive over to the complex.
You noticed how she shifted her grip on the steering wheel slightly and the residual sweat left there that coated her palms. Placing a gentle hand on her thigh, you gave her a sympathetic look as if to say that everything will be fine. At that, her nerves eased a bit, as did her iron-tight grip on the steering wheel. Her tense form seemed to soften, and as you slowly rubbed your thumb up and down, she seemed to return to serenity.
Soon enough, you arrived at the complex. You unbuckled your seat belt and were about to hop out when you noticed that Yelena was just staring forward. "Lena, it's okay to be nervous. And if you don't want to do this today, that's totally okay."
"No. No, I want to do this. Do you?"
"I want to do whatever you want to do."
After a deep breath, the blonde unbuckled herself and got out, walking around the car to lead you into the building. Before going inside, she paused, taking another deep breath. You turned to her, placing your hands on her cheeks. "We'll be okay, regardless of what they say. Alright?"
Her smile returned once again as she pulled you in for a quick kiss. Once your lips parted after a few seconds, she took your hand for the second time and brought you inside. Walking through the foyer, you made your way to the lounge where everyone had agreed to meet. Everyone was waiting there– Steve, Tony, Clint, Thor, Bruce, and most importantly, Natasha.
"Oh, hey, you're here. Almost thought you wouldn't show up," Tony joked, earning himself an unimpressed glance from you.
"Alright, grandpa," the billionaire said in response to Steve's somewhat authoritarian comment to keep him in check.
"Lady Yelena, who is this friend you have brought," Thor asked as he was, of course, completely clueless as to what this meeting was for.
"Everyone...this is (Y/N), who I told you about. And we are..."
"Dating," you chimed happily.
The group went silent. You were worried that maybe saying that had given them a bad impression of you. Yelena felt it too. You were suddenly engulfed with a wave of relief as Clint said, "Nice." Though the comment was small and honestly fairly confusing, you just went with it.
Steve stood up and walked over toward you two, a welcoming smile on his face and an outstretched hand to shake, which you did eagerly. "It's good to meet you. Glad to see Yelena's found somebody for her." As he dropped his hand back down to his waist, you grabbed your wrist, your mouth hanging open in shock that you had just shaken hands with the Captain America. How cool was that!
Yelena giggled quietly at your little moment before returning her attention back to the team. "Ah! I see, Lady Yelena has come courting with you. I cannot allow you two to be together until you beat me in arm wrestling."
You stared at him askance, not sure whether or not he was joking. Luckily, Bruce patted him on the arm, leading him into another room as he said, "Not now, Thor." The scientist turned for a moment, waving to you. "It was nice to meet you!"
Your attention shifted back to Tony when he walked up to you, stroking his chin as he was seemingly deep in thought. "You're not an assassin too, right? I think our quota has been reached." You laughed lightly, shaking your head. "No, no. I'm nowhere near coordinated enough to even cut bread evenly. My chances of being an assassin are next to none."
"I hope you're not lying. I wouldn't be able to tell," Tony chimed as he walked away with Steve.
And at last, there was only one person you had yet to meet: Natasha Romanoff. She was just lounging on the couch, waiting for everyone to clear out so she could speak with just you and Yelena. Speaking of Yelena, she took your hand and led you to the opposite couch. She lightly squeezed your hand in hopes of easing her nerves, which had begun skyrocketting since she realized that Nat had been silent the whole time.
"So? What do you think?"
The redhead's glance turned to you, looking you up and down for a moment before staring at you. Her stare was a strong mix of intent and intense that made your palms sweat.
"Are you going to answer my question, or am I going to have to guess?"
"Hmm. Do you like Yelena?" Natasha's question was quite confusing. What did she mean by that? Did she think you were just using her to get closer to the Avengers? You didn't know why she asked, but you definitely liked her.
You nodded, raising your eyebrows. "Yeah, very much so. Why?"
"Oh, nothing. Just making sure."
And with that, Natasha was gone. "Well, considering everything, that went well. And Natasha likes you. She hates to show it, but I could tell."
"Oh, good." Looking around, you realized that literally everyone was gone. "Well, they cleared out fast."
"No need to stick around then. We don't need them regretting liking you."
"Definitely not. I'm not eager to be disliked by some of the most powerful people on the planet... but it wouldn't be so bad. You know why?"
"Because you like me, and I like you."
"Save it for the altar," you joked, snickering as the two of you left the building hand-in-hand.

lapochka – (sweetie pie)
It was the night of a big Stark Industries gala, and as coworkers of Tony Stark himself, you were expected to go. Everyone was dressed in their finest attire. Women were dripping in diamonds and pearls, which was, of course, pointed out by your girlfriend, Yelena. She used that phrase exactly since she loved that old Annie movie from the '80s.
The two of you arrived at the party hand-in-hand, but your hands dropped back down to your sides once you entered the wide room. As you had discussed, Yelena wished to keep PDA to a minimum while you were in public. You were totally fine with that, you understood completely. If only Yelena knew what was to come.
The official event seemed to end quicker than it started, perhaps because the two of you arrived on the later side, but nobody noticed or cared. Guests rushed out the doors to get home, leaving the Avengers, Yelena, and you. And as night follows the day, the after-party began. The event itself was light on alcohol, just a bit of champagne and some fine wine, but the after-party had a much larger selection of beverages.
Some stayed rather sober–you, Steve, and Natasha–while others took this as an opportunity to just let loose, namely Yelena and Tony. Tony could mostly handle himself, but Yelena...well, her idea of minimal PDA went out the window. You watched from afar as she stumbled around slightly, her glossy eyes floating around to find you sitting on the couch with Sam and Natasha. Lurching towards you as she bumped into furniture and people every so often, she landed on the couch with a soft grunt, her head in your lap.
A few snuck a glance at the blonde relaxing on your thighs. She raised her hands to touch your face, why? You weren't sure. "Oh, 's you. Good." Yelena slurred her words together slightly as she dragged a finger along your bottom lip. "Who else would I be? Vision?"
At your little question, she giggled like a little child, interrupted by a small hiccup. "Are you alright," you asked, slightly worried. You didn't know her as someone to get very drunk. As best as you could tell, she had a fairly high alcohol tolerance, but maybe you were wrong.
"Oh, yeah. 'm feelin' great!" The Russian patted your face a few times before kissing your hand, which told a bit more about her state. "You won't be in the morning," Natasha jeered from the other end of the couch as she nursed her beverage. You scoffed lightly as you shook your head. "I'm going to get you a water. Stay here, got it?"
"Yesh, Cap'n," she garbled, saluting you sloppily in one big sweeping motion.
You watched her on the couch as you filled a cup with water, laughing softly as Natasha pushed Yelena off her lap and walked over to you at the bar.
"Think you can handle her?"
"Oh, yeah. It shouldn't be too hard to wrangle a drunk assassin who is also my girlfriend."
"If you say so. Just watch out for her hugs. She won't let go no matter what you threaten her with."
You looked at the redhead with a confused expression, your mouth agape and your head tilted slightly. "I'm assuming you're speaking from experience."
"Yeah, she only let go once she passed out. It was a nightmare."
"I'm sure," you replied, turning off the tap before heading back over to your mess of a girlfriend on the couch. You sat down and placed the glass down, waiting for her to return from accosting Steve. Once she was back, she sat on your lap facing toward you before lazily wrapping her arms around your neck. "Welcome back," you whispered to her as she peppered your face with kisses. "I missed you, lapochka."
"I was only gone for a minute," you replied before your lips were captured by hers. Practically melting into the kiss, it took you a moment to snap out of it, remembering what you had discussed: minimal PDA. The blonde whined as you pulled away, but once you raised the glass of water to her lips, she had completely forgotten about it all. She downed nearly all of it within a few moments, wiping her lips off on her sleeve.
"Wow, okay. I'm gonna go grab another glass... or two."
"No," Yelena whined, nuzzling her face into your neck. She clearly did not want you leaving her. A blush raised to your cheeks, slightly embarrassed at essentially having to babysit your girlfriend. The Avengers walked away and averted their gaze from the two of you, partially because Steve told them to be conscientious. And when Steve gave advice like that, everyone seemed to take it without any qualms.
"How about I get you some more water and you relax here? How does that sound?" She shook her head, pushing out her bottom lip in a childish pout, which, you had to admit, was adorable. She clearly didn't want to stand up, much less be away from you, so it looked like you only had one option left.
So, placing your hands beside you on the couch to support yourself, you stood up with Yelena still clinging to you. She wrapped her legs around your waist to keep herself up, and, for good measure, you placed your hands on the bottom of her thighs. You definitely did not want to drop her. After a few small steps, you got the hang of the added weight that was your girlfriend and headed back to the bar.
"You've doomed yourself. She's not gonna let go anytime soon."
"I figured, Nat."
Once you were behind the bar, you gently set her down on the counter, hoping that she might let go. But as Natasha had warned, her arms stayed wrapped snuggly around your neck. You stayed put for a moment, thinking she might let go or let her grip loosen slightly, but, just as Natasha said, it did not.
"You're gonna have to let go sometime soon. Eventually, I'm gonna squirm out of here or you're gonna fall asleep. You and I both know that."
Sighing, Yelena let go so you could go grab her water. You filled a glass and handed it to her before she took your hand and chugged the water as if she was doing it to please you.
"Hey, hey, hey. We don't need you drinking up all the water."
She stared at you with a blank expression, her brain clearly not comprehending whatever you had said. "Kidding."
The woman sat before you yawned and rubbed her clearly tired eyes. "How about we go to bed? We can cuddle, maybe watch a movie." As you proposed the idea, she wrapped her arms and legs around you, clearly expecting you to carry her again. You picked her up off the counter, saying a quick 'goodnight' to the other Avengers before you carried her off to her bedroom. You waited outside as she changed, wanting to give her privacy, even though she wanted to be with you at all times. Once you went back into the room, the blonde was tucked into her bed, reaching out for you to join her, which you readily did.
You sat up against the headboard as she wrapped her arms around your torso and rested her head on your chest, snuggling closer than what seemed possible. Both of you relished in each others' embrace for a while, just enjoying being together. When you were about to ask if she wanted to watch a movie, you heard a soft snore coming from the blonde sleeping on your chest. "Finally," you mumbled, glad that she was finally asleep.
Wanting to get more comfortable, you scooted down slightly, lying down to face her. As you watched her sleep peacefully, you couldn't help but smile. She was adorable as she slept, her soft snores making you fall even further in love with her.
"I love you, Lena."
It turns out you were wrong about her being asleep, which you only discovered when she mumbled what you assumed to be an 'I love you' and pressed a gentle, yet slightly sloppy kiss on tip of your nose before snuggling into you for the rest of the night.

Making it Hurt Less
Yelena Belova x Reader
The last mission was the worse one yet. You and the love of your life, Yelena Belova, were covered from head to toe in cuts, bruises, and a few bumps. The two of you practically had to drag yourselves back to your shared bedroom.
Yelena grabbed a bottle of vodka and the first aid kit as you helped her sit on your bed.
“Come here darling,” your Russian beauty beckons you to sit in next to her. You gladly obey.
She pours the vodka on to a bit of gauze and begins to gently apply it to your wounds. You wince a little but Yelena tops off each wound with a gentle kiss. Her touch is really what makes the pain go away. Her kiss is the real cure.
You and her take turns patching the other up. This is a routine for the two of you and the rest of the team know better than to disturb you guys during this time.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you” the blonde assassin whispers as you gently lay her down in bed.
You wrap your arms around her and give her a kiss to the forehead. “Neither would I. I love you Yelena.”
The last thing to leave her lips as the gentle embrace of sleep takes over is “I love you too.”

This was not your typical Thursday afternoon, absolutely not. Between getting kidnapped by some bad guy that you knew nothing about and your "friend" saving you as if you were more than friends, nothing about it was typical. In reality, you were more than friends. You and Yelena had been a "thing" for a while, but for some reason, she wanted to keep it secret and not official. You hated everything about that, but still, you respected her wishes.
You waited on the quinjet, tapping your foot with your arms crossed as you waited for Yelena to return. Questions raced through your mind as time went by. Does she even care? Am I just a plaything that she's stringing along? You were brought back to reality by hearing multiple pairs of boots make their way onto the quinjet.
"Yelena, that was incredibly irresponsible. You can't just go into the field without any knowledge of it or backup. We expect better from you," you heard Steve scold much like a disappointed parent, which he, of course, tended to be. Yelena mumbled something in response, but you couldn't figure out what she said.
You stood at the far end of the jet, staring out the window emotionlessly. Well, that's what it looked like. In truth, you had so many emotions–anger, sadness, worry, hope, fear, stress–running through your veins, too many that you didn't know what to do with.
"What the hell was that, 'little miss perfect, coming to save the day again?'"
"I don't want to talk to you right now, Yelena. In fact, I don't want to hear or even see you because screw you," you replied, turning your head slightly so you could see her out of your peripheral. You noticed her baffled expression and how she stepped back slightly.
"Whoa...what did I do?"
You went silent, trying to calm down, but once she placed her hand on your arm, you couldn't hold back. "Stop it! Stop giving me hope that we're something that will happen," you turned as tears welled in your eyes.
"I loved- love you, but you have never loved me! And it is so painfully obvious. For a spy, you're a pretty lousy liar. I can't live like this–waiting for something that is clearly never going to happen. I feel crazy, like I'm thinking up stuff that's not real!"
Taking a deep breath, you regained your composure, save a single tear that dared to roll down to your chin. "You don't care about anyone but yourself." And with that, you walked away, wanting to be nowhere near Yelena now. Well, you almost walked away, but she interrupted you. "Can I say something? Even if you don't believe what I'm about to say, I need you to know that I wouldn't lie to you. Especially not about something like this."
You stopped, not even looking back. You just wanted to see what she would say, if she would try to fix this. That was your last bit of hope for her.
"I love you."
There it was, a moment too late. Still, the words nearly made you melt. "I love you, and I need you to know that. I've never loved anybody the way I love you. You are by far the best thing that has ever happened to me. And I can't deny what it is I want any longer."
You felt a hand on your shoulder and, of course, turned to face her. By saying that, she had begun the waterworks. "I've loved you since the day we met. I just haven't been able to say it because...I'm scared of losing you. I'm sorry."
You stared at her, getting lost in her brown eyes per usual. Now, it all made sense.
"Maybe if you kiss me, I'll believe it."
The corner of her mouth turned upward in a small smirk before she pressed them to yours. It was the most perfect kiss you had ever shared. Maybe it was all the emotions you felt and the sudden joy she had given you, but perhaps it was something else. Who cares anyway?
She pulled away and whispered, "I love you more than I have ever loved anything else. And I don't care who knows it because all I know is my love for you and how perfect you are."
What were you to say to that? What could you possibly say to prove how much you adored her now? You had completely forgotten about your anger for her hesitancy, but everything was exactly how you wanted it now. Why would you even bother thinking about it? It was in the past now, and while you couldn't predict it, you knew Yelena was your future.

Natasha: At my age, do you know how I’m statistically most likely to die?
Yelena: At the hands of your sibling?
Natasha: An accident.
Yelena: That’s how I’m going to make it look.

Carol: Fine. I’ll start. Ummm. I worked my way through med school as a phone sex operator.
Wanda: I would totally call that.
Yelena: I used to steal cars.
Pepper: Who’s next?
Natasha: I was forged in the bowels of hell to torture the guilty for all eternity.
Hope: Interesting share.
