re: your thoughts on legendaries (which is very cool and based) what’s your take on the differences between legends:arceus giratina and platinum giratina, especially since you defined them as hating the world? specifically the bit where giratina (at least seemingly) actively defended the world from cyrus trying to destroy it, after trying to do the same thing with volo’s help centuries prior?
Weird ghost worm upon yee (AND MORE ART BELOW CUT!)
Tumblr media
Anyways, here’s my mad ramblings about Giratina and Arceus’s backstory.
Tldr: Giratina’s a conglomerate of angry souls scorned by Arceus.
(Here’s the playlist. It’s all about worms.)
How it Started.
The original one has chosen favorites over the passage of time. Heroes, legends, protagonists…
Arceus intervenes for those it loves, and the consequences of a god touching the mortal world is devastating in its entirety. One act of divine intervention causes entire civilizations to collapse. One whispered suggestion drives an entire legacy insane.
So Arceus, paralyzed by its love for the mortal world, acts very little, learning from its mistakes. Apathy soaks through every motion. And thus is the way of the world.
But people love the Originator. Religions are born from Arceus’s rare deeds, and generation on generation taught its benevolence. Imagine spending your entire life chasing after that golden light. Imagine knowing its real and there, and it loves you.
Imagine begging it for help, and seeing it turn away when you need it most.
I think those people would feel very abandoned indeed, if they spent their lives worshipping, and receiving no response at all.
Giratina is born from the abandoned, the lost, and the angry. They’re a hundred thousand souls who’s adoration turned to spite. They’re an entity who demands for Arceus to look at them, so they can finally rest.
Arcues can not look at them in full, because if it does Giratina will fade.
Tumblr media
(Scio, beloved. For I can not let you go.)
So the Original One banishes the Unwanted Beast into the distortion world, and Giratina seethes, and starves, and screams.
Tumblr media
(Here are two truths about the Beast Between Dimensions—
1. Some part of them still loves Arceus. Arceus is their anchor, after all— the sole reason why they exist, why they are. But Arceus can not love it back in a way that matters, and that hurts.
2. Giratina is made of a thousand voices. Some of these voices remember that there’s a world above. They miss it.)
Why Giratina attacked Hisui in PLA:
PLA Giratina’s not a new god, but they’re very, very bitter and barely coherent on a good day. Volo serves as a conduct to help unite the broiling mass of ghosts against Arceus, and thus Giratina’s hatred overcomes any flickering affections they have for the land.
It doesn’t help that Arceus intervened for Hisui, sending Akari to directly stop Volo from summoning Giratina.
(As for Volo, well.
Imagine being a child who was thrown into the future due to Palkia and Dialga’s fits, who learned his people (his world) no longer exist beyond a shadow in the history books and a single, bitter lore keeper.
Volo doesn’t remember his original culture beyond vague imprints and singing praises to Sinnoh, but he knew he was loved, and he knew his family is dust four hundred years in the past. There’s a special sort of rage in him that echoes Giratinas.)
(Why did you abandon my people, Arceus? What kind of god are you, to leave those who love you so callously behind?)
(Maybe some part of Giratina recognizes Volo, beyond a feeling of kinship.
Maybe some part of Giratina grieves because it recognized the child Volo was.)
When Volo gets his pound of flesh, (when he realizes Arceus is not beholden to him, that the inherent alien morality Arceus holds is not a personal slight), Giratina will finally rest.
Anyways what I’m trying to say is: Arceus is never a person, but a nebulous embodiment of the connection shared between pokemon and humans. It tries to experience what it’s supposed to embody, but millennia of watching people be and cease has given it choice paralysis, apathy, and a hoarding issue. If something lasts forever next to it? Good.
Giratina was once a person. (Correction, a LOT of persons.) They don’t think very linearly either, but they have context on mortal matters and are thus the more benevolent and malicious of the two. One day, time will smooth them into something like Arceus. We can only hope the two keep each other in check.
THE DIFFERENCE OF LEGENDS ARCEUS GIRATINA VS PLATINUM PEARL GIRATINA
If the ancient version of giratina is an angry conglomerate of ghosts scorned by Arceus, the modern iteration of Giratina’s a creature that’s more settled in its skin and more assured in its duties. Giratina still has beef with Arceus, but they unionized into one being who’s love of the mortal world has triumphed over its ancestral grudge. One might even postulate they have shifted their anchor from Sinnoh the god, to Sinnoh the place.
((We call this character developement. Good for you, weird ghost worm!))

(((FULL DISCLOSURE, VOLO BEING FROM THE PAST IS INSPIRED FROM FOXFALL. You know. The fic that got me into this fandom. Please give it some love.)))

Hey, I love your HCs of the Triple Frontier boys <3 I was thinking about what are some of their hobbies/interests and what kind of music they like to listen to. What do you think?
excellant question nonnie!!! I have LOTS of hc's, thanks for asking!!!
Santiago Garcia
We know Santi loves Metallica
And the sountrack to TF has Fleetwood Mac and Bob Dylan
I think Santi just loves music! He flies a lot so he spends time listening to full albums.
He doesn't have a lot of free time
Despite everyones teasing, he's not here to fuck pretty women. He's here to work.
Still, despite onl a few personal items he does have his guitar. Plays it a lot.
It does help with women
When he was a kid he thought he'd become a singer, he loves Vicente Ferdanez and Juan Gabriel
Alas, for a poor immigrant family Santi couldn't abandon them to persu wishy-washy dreams, he needed to work. Hence the military.
Still, it makes him happy when he sit and play guitar, watching people smile.
He learns songs from all his friends and families favorite bands.
William Miller
Will hates modern country.
Growing up in the yee haw south I think he hates what it's become
Was not upset when Tobey Keith died at all, think he ruined the genre in the post-9/11 nationalism
He enjoys thegrassroots rock movement (springsteen, melloncamp, petty) and the blues.
Him and Santiago both love Fleetwood Mac. It combines Santi's love of rock and Will's love of the blues.
Enjoys jazz but also classical music. He has more interest in the instruments than the lyrics of music anyway.
Him and Frankie both love love love Johnny Cash (who doesn't?)
Will loves suduko
He loves things that calm his mind.
Will likes sports, it was how him and Ben spent a lot of time on the farm.
To this day he likes going out to play ball with Ben. It helps Benny with his ADHD.
Benjamin Miller
Benny does not find tossing a ball around or playing basketball helps his ADHD at all
What he does find is that is helps Will's obbsessive obsessive worrying about him.
So, in that sense, Ben likes it because 1. it's fun and 2. it's a rare chance where he can help Will. Will doesn't let people help him much
Benny looooooves trash TV
The Bachelor, Love after Lockup, Love is Blind
He likes shows he doesn'thave to pay a whole lot of attentionto.
Not that Benny isn't smart bc I haaaaate when people act like he isn't.
But with his ADHD (which I hc he has) he tends to have a lot of things going at once. He's not going to be able to sit down and fully commit to something like The Handmaid's Tale.
Will go head to head on country music with Will and Frankie
he likes the bro country like Florida Goergia Line, Jason Aldean
No one ever accussed him of great taste, okay?
He's here for a good time, not a long time.
He doesn't like the racist or anti-lgbt artists and won't give them his money for concerts
But you can't fauly him for getting don to Red Solo Cup
Also loves classic hair metal (wore an AC/DC shirt most of the movie)
Francisco Morales
Frankie loves country music and grunge
His favorite Benny singing tho
Favorite is anything Chris Cornell and I'll stand by that!!!
Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog, his solo work
Frankie is a busy man, but I like to think he likes lego's
He's an enginier, so you know he's a smart man. I bet he loves making lego sets come together
Frankie has very strong opinions on children's television.
Bubble Guppies > Paw Patrol
Hates Paw Patrol but his daughter likes Skye becuase she's a hellicopter/pilot dog so he allows it.
Loves being out in nature. He's trying ot instill a love of the outdoors in his daughter, but also loves pending time with the guy, or even by himself
When he's overwhelmed, Frankie likes to go for a walks in the woods.
Will fuck up a farmers market all DAY
Oddly enjoys mowing the lawn
My man is Hank Hill
"Why would anyone do drugs hen they could just mow their lawn."
Now that he's sober, he finds lawncare is a great way to distract himself while still being a present father. He can do that while his daughter plays.
******************
thank you so much for the ask!!!! i love chatting about my boys <3

If you asked (Y/n) (L/n) who "Fixer" was, they would tell you that he's one of the few people who could understand them deeply.
If you asked (Y/n) (L/n) who Thoma was, well, the best response someone could get from them is "Hmm... I guess the name sounds familiar," followed by "ah, so that's who he is. Okay then."
The two of you have been penpals for almost five years, but neither of you revealed your real names. You addressed him as "Fixer" (a pen name Kamisato Ayato had relentlessly recommended), and he responded to your calls as "Levi" (short for the infamous Lunar Leviathan sea legend). This is not due to the lack of courage or trust, but because you mutually agreed that it would add more mystery and thrill to your inevitable first meeting.
But one of you lied.
Thoma knew exactly what your name was. He knew your height, eye color, family, and a number of other personal facts that a regular housekeeper would not have had the opportunity to learn so readily. Earning your private information was his quota with Lord Kamisato for helping him "burn a few stray leaves", but the given information wasn't the most important findings of their investigation, no.
It was the revelation that (Y/n) (L/n), rather, YOU were his first love.
Thoma would happily take up any attractive label that fit his romanticized viewpoint, be it infatuation or puppy love. You were the kid he frequently spent time with within the Mondstadt public library. Granted, you both often took seats two chairs apart from one another, but the sticky notes passed along the table did not make the distance feel too far. You were each other's confidants. You both didn't belong anywhere and Thoma was bound to catch a teeny weenie crush on you.
It's no secret that Thoma is a hopeless romantic. He believes in his lucky omamori and fortune slips, hence it's not a huge stretch that he believes in soulmates too. No one in the Kamisato Estate was surprised when he preached that it is fate that bonded you two together. Lord Kamisato incessantly teased him for it, but Thoma was none the wiser. He thought that Ayato's remarks about being whipped were a compliment and that only made everyone more keenly aware that he was absolutely smitten.
Thoma was ultimately determined to reunite with you once more. The two of you lay on the same bed but with different dreams, and Thoma wished otherwise. He wanted to demonstrate to you that, if a "failure" like him could win the hearts of the Inazuman populace, then Mondstadt could also respect you and your adorable eccentricities.
But that won't be an easy feat.
The journey to Liyue was perilous, but it was nothing compared to his first trip to Inazuma. It was a bit funny how most of the ships to Liyue were suspended. Luckily, Thoma never lost hope. He and Captain Beidou came to an agreement whereby she would allow him to board the Alcor in exchange for a thorough cleanup. And hey, when it comes to housework, he's almost as passionate as Beidou's need to see the Tianquan, so it was a true non-zero-sum game.
Going from Liyue to Mondstadt was quite a chore as well. Some mora is better than no mora, and that was his way of coping after dishing out 900 mora to pay a guide and his spouse to help him out. The guide never shuts up. He kept talking about a drunkard friend from Mondstadt while his spouse graciously tried to focus on Thoma's needs. His spouse was clearly forced to marry the man under a contract. The Mondstadter prayed that your future marriage is far from theirs. Thoma's patient, but he doesn't think you can handle hearing about osmanthus wine, or in his case, housekeeping, for the rest of your married life. (The spouse can prepare some delectable seafood, though.)
Thoma considered whether his determination to meet you again was being tested by cleaning the entire ship and listening to an old couple bicker 24/7. At least he's in Mondstadt now, right?
"Excuse me, miss. Do you know where Mx. (Y/n) (L/n) is?"
Thoma was very amazed by the souvenir shop owner's ability to hear him over the talk of other tourists and the clacking of hooves that returned knights from a prolonged expedition. The town square is adorned with proud flags and colorful banners that symbolized the KoF's triumphant return, which meant the grandmaster is home as well.
Since Varka is here then that means--
"Ahh, (Y/n)?" Marjorie tapped her bottom lip. "That ungrateful kid isn't here. They didn't even bother to welcome their cousin home. They're probably sulking elsewhere."
Thoma flinched.
"Excuse me?"
"What's wrong? You do know what kind of person (Y/n) is, right?" Marjorie said nonchalantly.
"I mean, what did you expect? They're a disappointment to the Imunlaukr Clan, so it's only natural that they would shy away from celebrations like this. It's for the best, no one wants a weirdo around to spoil the festival."
His eyes darkened. Thoma's entire focus was on Marjorie now, and he didn't hear a teary-eyed person running for the stairs.
"How do you have the guts to say that about someone?"
Marjorie raised an eyebrow.
"But it's the truth–"
"Just how much do you know about (Y/n)?" Thoma gritted his teeth.
"Have you talked to them before? Have you taken them out for lunch? Do you know how they feel when people talk about them like that? Do you know how hard they worked to please everyone?"
At this point, the noise from the crowd began to simmer down as they tried to eavesdrop on this confrontation. Thoma subconsciously towered above Marjorie, and his hand slammed the door beside her.
His dull green eyes leered deep into her soul.
"N-No?"
"Then you should watch what you say, Miss."
The scent of embers wafted in the air.
Thoma didn't notice it was his own doing until Marjorie screamed. His conscience was stirred by her horrified eyes, and he quickly pushed away.
Heat radiated throughout the shop and Marjorie's arm, but fortunately, it wasn't enough to cause blisters and unbearable pain.
"O-Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to come off that strong!" Thoma rambled on, fearing that he may have crossed the line. He felt multiple stares drilling the back of his head, and that solidified how wary the crowd was. "I'm just saying you should be careful what you say next time! You never know if you're hurting someone already."
Thoma's not the villain here. He's just teaching her a valuable lesson, that's all.
"R-right..." Marjorie whimpered. Her sleeves were nearly burnt to crisp and Thoma's heart dropped at the thought of additional expenses. Still, he's not above paying the price.
"I'm r-really sorry for the damages!" He blurted out. "I'll pay you back, how much?"
-----
Some mora is better than no mora, sure, but now that latter is starting to sound more like his situation.
Thankfully Marjorie didn't ask for much. Thoma couldn't decide whether to chalk it up as good fortune or the result of being too intimidating. Either way worked out for him anyway, cause he would've tried to haggle the price down if it were too expensive.
Thankfully Marjorie didn't ask for much. Thoma couldn't decide whether to chalk it up as good fortune or the result of being too intimidating. Either way worked out for him anyway, cause he would've tried to haggle the price down if it were too expensive.
But the fact that his emotions got the best of him was alarming...
Did you mean this much to him?
... Who is he kidding? Of course, you do!
Thoma sailed through storms and walked mountains to see you again, didn't he? His protectiveness is just a form of love. Marjorie isn't ill so no harm done, but if the situation called for it he would've undoubtedly escalated it to something more. This type of determination makes him your protector from afar, doesn't it?
"Ugh..." Thoma pouted. "Don't they sell anything other than alcohol here? I can't stomach the smell..."
While looking for a non-alcoholic beverage, he caught a glimpse of a passing slender and tall figure that loomed behind him. His strides were large and the head above his shoulders was etched in a permanently stern expression. The vibrant strawberry hair that crowned his head both contrasted his dim face and signified which family he belonged to–- who he was. It's none other than Diluc Ragnvindr.
Thoma grinned. When you and Thoma had the entire library to yourselves, Diluc used to take care of you two. He had the honor of overseeing two very bashful kids who were three years younger than him. Second only to Lord Kamisato, he was one of the most passionate people Thoma had ever met.
"Hey, Diluc!"
He didn't anticipate anything will happen when he called Diluc's name. The last time they met, Diluc was the nation's rising star, while Thoma was a timid teenager. Diluc may not know him now that Thoma pulled back his golden hair and changed the tone of his voice to one that exudes social lightness.
"It's me!" He grinned and reached out his hand for a handshake. Thoma was a bit nervous. He didn't know if he should be casual with the Ragnvindr heir, but this approach is ten times better than ignoring him. Thoma is not without care for friends. Why wouldn't he greet an old buddy? Especially the kid who played devil's advocate for your shenanigans?
"Th–"
Diluc briefly exhibited signs of fear before clearing his throat.
"Thoma." Diluc bit back coldly.
Thoma hesitantly sank his hand back into his pockets. What was that look for? Did he do something wrong?-- Well, he did almost burn a store down... but it didn't feel like that was the reason behind that face he made.
"I-It's been a long time!" He beamed, joyful that one of the few people who didn't shun him in his childhood still recalled him. "I thought you wouldn't recognize me anymore!"
Diluc hummed curtly. His eyes were sharp, which only accentuated that he hates to prolong whatever conversation this was, if you could call it one.
"I wouldn't dare make the mistake of not knowing who you are."
Thoma chuckled nervously. "Right."
"Is that all?" Diluc huffed.
"Oh," Thoma scratched the back of his head. "How's Master Crepus? I'm old enough now, you think he'll allow me to drink this time?"
He teased quickly before he loses Diluc's attention. It was just a small jest that alluded to the time young Thoma sneaked in inside Dawn Winery, but the look on Diluc's face was indescribable.
One thing was for certain, he was not pleased.
"N-Nevermind, how's Kaeya–"
"Have a pleasant evening, Mister Thoma." Diluc immediately turned his back on him, and his footsteps already drowned Thoma's unpolished ramblings.
"I hope you have fun staying in Mondstadt."
Mondstadt's chatter sounded in a near-endless chorus, therefore confirming that Diluc left the conversation.
He sighed humorously loud.
"Haaaaah... this is one of the most overwhelming homecomings of all time, alright. Maybe it could even top dad's... Wherever he is."
Thoma thought it would be him who would be unrecognizable in both appearance and personality.
But it seems Diluc changed too. And if Thoma were to be so bold, maybe he changed too much. He wondered how you felt about that–-
Thoma gasped.
Wait...
He opened numerous letters about the toxic people. You often compared a "friend" of yours and the people around "them" to a broke coin collector and a few pennies. Several anecdotes described in detail how the broke coin collector wanted to buy a fresh loaf of bread but was unable to part with their money since they believed it will one day reveal its true value.
The "Fixer" thoughtlessly retorted that "a coin's purpose by the end of the day is to be spent. What good will holding on do if you starve yourself to death? You need to tell the coin collector that their life is worth more than what they've saved."
He grimaced.
He was just trying to sound poetic. Thoma never thought that there was a possibility that one of these "coins" might be Master Diluc Ragnvindr himself.
Thoma crossed his arms and shook his head. It doesn't matter. He could be wrong. Maybe Diluc is just in a bad mood, and it's not like the 'cavalry captain' knows that he's "Fixer". It'll be ignorant to assume that a bright man like Diluc became a toxic person just because of one bad day.
Besides, some mora is better than no mora, and you still have him. And even if Diluc walked out of your life, Thoma will never let you be alone.
So don't worry, okay?
-------
Thoma didn't remember Dragonspine being this cold.
The last time he traversed the bridge towards the mountain was years ago, and he faintly remembers traveling with adventurer Cyrus to collect logs. He resisted the cold back then, but he can no longer say the same now that he's a pyro vision user. His pyro shield doesn't seem to provide any warmth in Dragonspine. Kind of backwards, isn't it? Thank goodness Good Hunter's served hot coffee. It was the only non-alcoholic drink they served this festival. His bottle preserved the comforting heat, and his hands were delighted to hold on to it. It was almost a torch for his vision to light up each time.
He also didn't bring a map. It wasn't in his budget after paying the Goth Hotel extra for his stay which was a major bummer (he doesn't recall the prices being that high before?) but it's alright. You write about the place sporadically that it almost felt like he knew the place like the back of his hand.
"H-hoo… I should've brought extra layers…" Thoma shivered. "Y-You made it sound like Dragonspine wasn't t-this cold at all… Oh, dear… I'm r-really tempted to run on the i-ice now…"
Once he pushed away from the branches of one particular tree, the bizarre trip had all been worth it.
"(Y/n)..."
He knew that who he saw had to be you.
Because you were breath-taking.
But that bliss was short-lived. Something was wrong.
"--I'm so glad to have met you and the Fishing Association. You didn't know who my family was and treated me like a friend, not a means to an end."
A crease formed between Thoma's eyebrows and his lips trembled. His face contorted in an ineffable string of hurt and betrayal, and his suffocating grasp on the poor tree beside him burned.
Your shoulders were drooped and you wore a Snezhnayan scarf, but most importantly, you were confiding in this blue-eyed stranger.
You were confiding in someone else that isn't him. He's your soulmate! He should be the only one you could count on.
The thud of his boots on crusty snow stopped Thoma from threading farther. That sounded too loud. If he moved a little closer, they'd hear him. And he can't afford to look like a stalker.
Thoma gulped harshly. He should've prayed that his first meeting with you wouldn't be spoiled by some filthy man he didn't even know.
What are you doing?
That spot was supposed to be for him.
Who is that man?
When you started running and the stranger followed after, Thoma walked to your camp and picked up his unopened letter. His letter sat near your plate and other discarded items.
You didn't even read it before talking to that stranger. Did that man matter more than him?
He tucked it away and smiled sadly.
You're not ready to know his feelings just yet.
But don't worry! You and Thoma will fall in love when the time is right.
It's fate, after all! He just KNOWS it!

“I Thought You Were Dead.” - Charles Smith
Tumblr media
From an old event I did called the Sad Yee Haw Hours:
12timetraveler asked: Can I request number 9 with Charles and Female reader for the sad Yee yaw. :)
rdr2 masterlist
Hahaha hi friend, thank you for this ultimate hurt I had created. I hope you enjoy it, Honey!
Why do I keep hurting my boy like this :’(
Originally published on June 8, 2020
Charles Smith x Female Reader
Scenario Starter Number 9: “I thought you were dead.”
Warnings: Angst, I have sinned once again for making Charles sad, I keep breaking my own heart lmao
Words: 930
-
“I thought you were dead.”
Charles raises an eyebrow and his heart is racing. He can’t seem to process your words. He is just in shock that you are okay and alive. That he actually found you. His hand that knocked on your door slowly falls to his side. You look as beautiful as the day he left you. His heart can’t stop racing. The smile he contains is spreading throughout his body.
That is until you snap your fingers at him. You look exhausted but more of grief and relief.
“Did you hear me, Mr. Smith?” You question.
His eyebrow remains raised. Why are you acting like a complete stranger to him? He shakes his head and says, “Sorry. I got distracted… What is with the last name-calling?”
You let out a laugh but it sounds more like a sob. “You can’t expect me to be familiar with you after so long. It’s been eight years, Mr. Smith. Eight years. I thought you died with Arthur. John told me he didn’t know where you were that nobody knew where you were or what you were doing. I didn’t know. I waited as long as I could but god, the nights were so lonely. I cried myself to sleep for months. You can’t show up now and expect me to be filled with joy. Not when I had just accepted your death,” You say your voice shaking terribly.
His heart is hurting. He hates seeing you in so much pain and it truly is all his fault. “I… Am so sorry. After I helped Rain Falls and his people move I went back to see if Arthur had made it… He didn’t so I buried him. I spent my time looking for you. I truly did but…”
He gave up. He turned into someone he didn’t recognize and couldn’t dare show you that. Tears are streaming down your face and he wants to so desperately brush them off. The temptation to feel your warm skin touching his is strong and he goes to do it but you take a step back into your home. His face remains void of emotion as his heart starts to feel like a heavyweight is coming onto it.
Charles feels desperation come onto him. He wants to hold you so bad. He needs you to say his name, not his surname. He speaks again.
“Only recently did John and Uncle found me. He told me that you two still kept in touch and after I cleaned up my behavior I came here immediately. I needed to see you with my own eyes. I wanted this to go differently, not in the middle of the night but I couldn’t wait. I love you (Name). I love you more than anything and I am so sorry that you had to live with thinking I was dead. I’m planning on going to Canada soon… I can postpone it so we can become familiar with each other again. I want no one but you in my life,” He states going again to try and brush the tears off your face.
You take another step back and this time show him your left hand. His eyes widen as he spots the medal on your ring finger. He finally understands why you are so distressed right now. He feels guilty immediately for bringing you into this emotional state.
You beg to him. “You… Please don’t do this to me. You can’t touch me as if we’re still together. I loved you… I still love you and it hurts like hell but I can’t let you back into my life. I have a partner and they mean the world to me. They helped me with my grieving. We have kids. I have a family. You can’t do this to me. Why are you doing this to me?”
He can’t. He has the urge to go back in time and never even think of you. He wished he didn’t bring this pain to you at all. Instead, he does what he thinks he should do instead. He ignores you hits as he pulls you into a tight hug. It takes on a few seconds for the fight in you to leave as you are clutching him with all you have.
You’re crying hysterically and he spots a figure in the house checking on you. They are cautious but seem to understand what is going on. A few shaky breaths leave him and he finally asks his question.
“Do they treat you well?”
You nod your head yes.
“I am glad that I found you and I am happy you went after our dream to have a family. I am happy for you. I won’t postpone my trip. I’ll be leaving for Canada soon… Will you call me by my name one last time?”
You are nodding your head again. He can hear his name leave you but it sounds more like a broken sob. He’ll take it. He’ll cherish it. It is his goodbye gift. He places a kiss on the top of your head and pulls away motioning for your partner to come. They do and pull you all the way inside not sparing Charles another glance before shutting the door in his face.
He can hear your crying even with the door closed and it makes his heart want to stop beating. He regrets coming here but at the same time, it was so worth it. One thing that does cross his mind for your sanity is, he should’ve stayed dead.

Christian Linke and Alex Yee Q&A
From here  (will update if there’s more)
With special addition from Amanda’s
Below the cut are the questions and answers they provided
Q: Anything in regards to an art book for this show? Would love nothing more than to secure a copy of one.
Christian: There is one in the works! I remember talking to some folks at Fortiche and Riot about it a few months ago. I'm not sure where they are in the process, but it's coming for sure.
Q: Hi! Do you think Caitlyn and Vi shippers will be happy with the upcoming season?
Alex: There's that part they might like, and that part they're probably gonna hate.
Amanda (A reply to Alex’s post): I take full responsibility for both. And stand by that they make the show better!
Q: How did you all go about capturing such minute and captivating micro-expressions? Also, Caitlyn and Vi have been really fun for my wife and I to watch together as a lesbian couple. We really hope we get to see their relationship grow in new and interesting ways. I'm curious about how their roles as "Piltover's Finest" will differ from how they do in LoL. Will caitlyn still be a sheriff, or more of a private eye working independently from the Enforcers?
Also, what is the likelihood we will see them as official "girlfriends" next season? Will it mainly be implied or outright stated? I realize if you can't share much, but I (and my wife) are dying to know.
Lastly, will we get to see the entire tattoo on Vi's back at any point?
Christian:
I appreciate you speaking to the smaller details of the character moments. Generally speaking, people in animation will advise against those silent beats where subtle expressions mean as much as any word could, but that's the sort of drama we really craved in the animation space. We simply have awesome animators :) And a wildly talented animation director Bart Manoury, who defined that entire look for Arcane.
For Vi's tattoo -- we have the complete design, I'm not quite sure why we haven't shared it with everyone. Let me inquire about that.
Regarding Vi and Caitlyn, I wish I could say more at this point, but a lot of the answers I'd give you would spoil the experience on screen. I'm confident in the direction we're taking it, and I very much wanna hear from you once Season 2 is out.
Q:  what we should expect for Viktor in season 2?
Christian: Everything
Q: Will there be anymore merch drops for Arcane? O: I would love to have posters or even figures/statues/nendoroids of any of the characters!
Christian: Yes. I myself am the sort of person that likes to have dozens of statues, trinkets and figurines on his shelf. The underwhelming amount of merch during Season 1's release is very high on my list of gripes. We're actively working on making sure that we do much better next time around.
Alex: I certainly hope so!
Q: Are there plans to release the scripts for Arcane? I would love to study these.I know you guys don't come from a typical Hollywood background and that's what I love about Arcane, it's so fresh and new. How did you learn how to create a show? How did you write the finale to encapsulate so much emotion and meaning?
Christian: Yes! Quite frankly, we just haven't gotten to consolidating all the different versions yet. Some of it also touches on Season 2 spoiler risks, so I'm afraid we still need to find the time to go through the mountain that is our Season 1 scripts. ;o
In the beginning, we certainly had no idea how to craft a TV series. Personally, I tried to read a lot of books about story crafting and screenwriting. I can't say that I found many of them useful, but at least they all confirmed the general framework of act structures and character drive.
We spent a good amount of time in meetings with other folks who worked in the industry, always looking for that secret sauce that unlocks a TV story structure, and... turns out it doesn't exist. So once you come to that conclusion, it becomes a bit easier to roll up your sleeves and go "alright, let's find our own". At this point, we have our own "metrics" and processes to track plot and character. It's always somewhat messy when you intend to craft a complex story, but that's just part of the work.
Good story (in my mind) is all about hard choices. Many writers talk about being "character driven" without actually writing character driven stories. If you ask your hero whether or not they will help save the world from an alien invasion, the answer always is "yes, duh". Thus, the character doesn't REALLY have a decision to make. The sole question that remains is "HOW are they gonna overcome their obstacle?" -- which is entertaining, but it really doesn't drive the story forward with full autonomy.
I think Alex and I gravitate toward stories that leave characters with costly or even impossible choices.
Amanda (Add onto Christian’s post): I think of this in terms of what a character hopes and fears. You have to know what these are (and make sure the audience knows too) and use them to tug a character towards impossible decisions. I also think you have to be able to relate to these hopes and fears. As Christian mentioned, the fear of dying in an alien invasion isn’t relatable. Neither is the hope of winning a civil war (for most people), but what made Silco’s quest for Zaun’s freedom relatable is that it was rooted in his hope that he could win back his brother Vander’s respect. And without his respect, Silco feared he was the “dirty little thing” his station in life always ascribed to him. Fearing you aren’t good enough, and craving respect from family are deeply relatable emotions. This is what a “character driven story” means to me!!
Q: I've watched this show many many times, introducing it to new people, and always finding another detail or two I didn't during previous watches! While writing the story, what was the most complex story-telling issue you guys ran into?
Christian: We wanted all of our characters to be "real", and thus, make imperfect decisions. The finale of the 3rd episode was scary, because both Vi and Powder really mess up and make terrible decisions. At the same time, we didn't want these choices to alienate them entirely.Characters like Jinx and Silco constantly murder and manipulate. Can an audience still root for them? It's a bit of a dance between their many risky actions and choices.
Amanda (Add onto Christian’s): Again, I think this comes from relatable motivations. Jinx, (and Powder before her), was always desperate to prove herself worthy — worthy of her sister’s faith in her, worthy of Silco’s faith in her. We shouldn’t have to prove ourselves worthy of love, but that is a struggle we all face in so many different ways. A character making terrible decisions is much more forgivable if you too have felt what they’re feeling. I always say I love characters that do the right thing for the wrong reasons, or the wrong thing for the right reasons, everything else is boring!
Q: If you could have made arcane about any other part of runeterra which one has most interest to you?
Christian: Sheesh... there's a lot. ;) We've been working on Arcane for over 7 years now, so naturally, you have ideas for other stories over time.I think the "grimsical" tone that Arcane features works well for Alex and I. That said, I'm really interested in exploring some more quirky stuff as well. The League IP has a lot to offer, it's very diverse in cultural and tonal aspects.
Alex: There are stories I'd love to tell all over Runeterra. One of the joys of working on Arcane was having the opportunity to dive deep into the style, look, and culture of Piltover/Zaun. At Riot we of course have our ideas, but there is still a magic of discovery whenever you invest time conceptualizing one of Runeterra's regions.I've always been a fan of the intrigue/machinations of Noxus, the aesthetics and history of Ionia, the mythos of the Freljord.
Q: In an episode of “Into the Rift”, it’s said that the early drafts of Arcane weren’t good. How much of that draft and the final show are similar or different? Just character arcs and interactions? Major plot points? Or was the entire idea of the show changed?
Christian: A lot (if not all) of the story structure and character arcs were the same.
Crafting the episodes and scenes in a fashion that builds the right tension over time and tracks all the parallel stories wasn't really clicking yet at that time, so Alex and I getting help from the outside and learning more about how to "break an episode" really unlocked the episodes to be stronger.
Alex: The broad strokes of the show never really changed. I'd say the biggest evolutions concerned pacing and development of emotional storytelling. We were more plot-focused before that. We always wanted big emotional beats between characters, we just strengthened their integration to the overall story.
Often, a slight shift in our approach significantly changed the spirit of a scene or beat. We were fortunate to have brainstormed so many moments before we rebooted the story though, it gave us a wealth to draw from when we went into the proper writer's room.
Q: What were some of the small touches in the art and writing of Arcane that didn't mean that much in the big picture, but that you really enjoyed personally?
Christian: Man... also too many to count. ;) The wonderful thing about our collaboration with Fortiche is that artists at the studio are really empowered. An example that Alex likes to bring up and that we all really love is the ash tray in Silco's office. We didn't instruct them to make it look like Jinx painted it in her trademark whimsical style, they did that themselves. They were tasked with designing a simple ash tray and thought, "how can I do more with this than the minimum?" -- and so they did. Now, an ash tray tells a story.
Q: Will season 2 be the final season in the Piltover and Zaun region? Will there be more interactions between Ekko and Jinx in season 2?
Christian: I don't think answering this first question would actually benefit you, so I'm not gonna do it. Oh yes (to the q of Ekko and Jinx).
Q: Will there be another season of bridging the rift or any more behind the scenes content?
Christian: I don't know if it's gonna be another full Bridging The Rift, but I know that we're filming BTS material all around. So in some shape or form, there are gonna be more glimpses behind the curtain for you. :)
Q: If you could choose a single word to describe season 2, what would you pick?
Christian: War
Alex: Rubicon
Amanda: Well I’m more of a sap than these guys, but I say “forgiveness.”
Q: What were some of the biggest influences on Arcane in terms of writing or animation?
Christian: Alex and I were talking a lot about Peaky Blinders while we were working on Season 1.For animation, there really isn't that much I would reference to be frank. When we started Arcane, there wasn't really anything out there that had the look and style we had in mind.
Amanda: Let’s not forget our “Lord of the Rings” dollar jar. Bunch of bills in there from you, Christian!!
Christian: True. Though Arcane development started long before Spiderverse.
Q: When is season 2 coming?
Christian: B-)
Q: How long do you see yourself doing Arcane? Can you see the series becoming a revolving door of stories told from different regions of Runeterra at some point?Have you ever had a great idea for something in the show, that came too late? eg: animation is too far along to change
Christian: We definitely want to explore other regions. At the same time, we've all seen shows and movies that try to cram in too many different perspectives too quickly. I think we gotta earn our way into a larger world view first. So definitely coming in the future, but we have to find the right pace for the story we wanna tell.
Regarding having an idea for something that came too late -- yes, constantly. ;) As someone much wiser than us once said: "Art is never finished, only abandoned".
Q: Does "Our Love" image on the record in the show refer to personifications of Piltover and Zaun? Since the girls are colour coded as respective cities over big red-dot in the sky.
Christian: Indeed!
Q: When making the soundtrack for the show, what did you and/or others have in mind for selecting artists and sounds for what would end up making the cut? Were there any you were considering that didn’t make it?
Christian: It starts with the editors at Fortiche looking for the right moment(s) in every episode that could feature a "music video moment". Usually, the vibe and mood of the story boards paints a target that we then try to cast appropriately.
You tend to have a shortlist of 5-10 artists that you then try to hunt.
During Season 1, it was really hard to find artists, because we were an unproven studio, and a lot of artists weren't interested in animated series. Luckily, the ones who joined us did so because they really believed in the vision, more so than it being an easy win.
Amanda: The storyboard artists make the intention of the scene work. Without them our writing would be boring, flat words. Coming from a live action background, the collaboration in the boards feels like working with a director and the actors all at once — they decide camera angles and blocking which is everything to the emotion and feeling of a scene.
Q: Did you guys overall have a favorite scene or episode from the final product? What was it like/how did it feel to take in all of the positive reactions, to witness the major impact that Arcane left?
Christian: The finale of Episode 6 is always very powerful to me. Probably that. It was a powerful feeling, because you poured your entire existence into this project for over half a decade, well knowing that the League audience is unmerciful. It was super-scary to imagine that they may not like it. That's a chunk of your life you'd never get back. Thankfully, it worked out. :)
Alex: Definitely one of the hardest questions to answer. Kind of a copout to say the dinner scene (109), but I always marvel at the emotion Fortiche was able to evoke in animation there. Similar feeling for the bridge fight (107), even though I do really love the intergration with music and how much story is told.
I'll throw a nod to the Chuck/Thieram scene with Jinx (106). It is/was a moment of general silliness, both in the writing act and the show that doesn't always feel like it fits with the rest of the tone, but it makes me smile that it survived all the way to the finish.
Q: What's your favorite episode of the show? Did Silco braid Jinx's hair? How long did Jinx's tattoos take? Who's your favorite character?
Christian: Probably 106. Yes, though he most definitely sucked at it, no matter how much he tried. Eventually, he paid someone to invent a machine that can braid Jinx's hair, but Jinx would always tinker with it, to a point where it once nearly strangled her in the process. He once asked Sevika to do it, but Sevika threatened to quit. So Silco had to keep doing it, until Jinx was old enough to learn it. Not sure I understand the question. Heimerdinger.
Q: You mentioned passionate tweets on social media. Does that mean the creators of Arcane see a large part of the fans tweets, fanart, disccusion?
Christian: Yeah, we see a good amount. Though Arcane's fan art on twitter tends to be a bit of a minefield. :X
Alex: We see quite a bit, but I have the feeling it's only the tip of the iceberg. I wish I had the fluency to dip into more of the fan reactions from all the non-English regions where Arcane was released.
Q: Are there people in the production crew you'd like to give a shout out to and why? Who are the unsung heroes of Arcane? What's a small detail or easter egg in the show that no one has discovered yet? What is your favorite plugin/audio effect that you used to produce any song in the Arcane soundtrack? Any teases for S2?
Christian:
I'd say that the story board artists are truly the creative unsung heroes. Our story boarders are FANTASTIC, and the amount of things they have to juggle is insane. And yet, none of their work ends up in the final picture, which always makes me sad.
There's loads. I think someday -- maybe in a few years -- I'll wanna check in on that and see which have just not gotten discovered. :)
Gulfoss. It's pure magic.
Q: Are all the scripts complete for Season 2?
Christian: Yes. Though there's always some amount of tweaks that happen in the process. Seeing story boards & hearing voices for the first time makes you realize that something doesn't quite click, or there's new opportunities you didn't recognize before.
Q: What were some events and actions that you really liked and wanted in the show, but had to rewrite or cut because they didn’t properly push story arc of some characters, or went against how that character should act at that point in their arc? Or what was your proudest achievement with this show that was cut, rewritten, or something that you knew the viewing audience would never know about?
Christian: There was another scene in Episode 107, a flashback between Ekko and Powder that takes place a few months after the end of Episode 103. It was a very touching moment during which Ekko tries to save Powder from Silco, but Powder refuses to go with him. "Powder is dead" .Alas... sometimes, it is your darlings that end up on the chopping block. Animation is expensive, and time is very much so money.
Q: How did y’all decide to include Get Jinxed by Djerv in the show, even though it was created for the LoL version of Jinx back in 2013? Does that song actually exist in the Arcane universe, or was it just part of soundtrack/Jinx’s imagination?
Christian: The song has a lot of meaning for us, because it was the first time Fortiche and I worked together on something. The beginning of the whole relationship.I don't think the song exists in the Arcane universe, no. That was more a selfish little moment for us. :)
Q: One of the things I really liked about Arcane was how there was no fat. There was not a single scene that felt tacked on or unnecessary, but you still managed to flesh out the world. Noxus was a great example. Their inclusion made the world feel bigger but it didn’t slow down the plot for a second.I know it’s a group effort deciding which scenes to cut but I was wondering what you’re criteria is when making those decisions.
Christian: I know that some people said Arcane moves at a pace that's too brisk, but both Alex and I like it when episodes really move the story forward. We all have our favorite TV shows that often enough present us filler episodes. We just didn't want that.
We followed act structures per episode. Every character story line would get their 3 acts, plus "twist" to set up the future conflict.
We did also have a piece of paper in our writer's room that spelled out our criteria for a successful scene:
- How does this scene develop the character?
- How does this scene further the plot?
- How does this scene teach the audience something new about the world?
You don't always get all 3, but it needs to have at least 2.
Q: Is it possible for Mel Medarda to return in Season 2? :c
Alex: Solidly possible.
Q: Are there gonna be any sex scenes in S2?
Christian: Ew, no! Gross. Maybe.
Alex: Hmm... any characters springing to mind?
Christian: I dunno Alex. Haven't seen anything on social media that makes me believe people even thought about this.
Amanda: They hired me back for season two, which means there will be sex. I’m the reason it’s in season one.
Q: Why did you name the show Arcane?  When you were first developing the show who would you say was the character that changed the most from how you originally developed/ thought of them? Did Jinx and Vander have a close relationship? Does Jinx actually see Vander as someone who betrayed Silco?
Christian: Magic ties a lot of our world together. Every region, every champion has a different relationship with it.
Viktor for sure. I kinda just wanna leave it there. ;P
They weren't as close as Vander and Vi were. Vander was the person that Vi looked up, whereas she was the person Powder looked up to. I don't think that Jinx necessarily blamed Vander for what happened, though she does think (now) that Vander chose wrong.
Q: I want to ask if there's anything you can share about the Firelights! I'd definitely love to know more about them and how they were conceptualised, some more information about the members if possible, perhaps even word on their involvement on next season?
I think the idea of "Hope for a better Zaun" is one of the core tenets of Ekko, and I'm certainly proud to see that he has a group that is actively working towards that goal. I'm satisfied with where you've taken his storyline and I can definitely say you guys completely understand him!
Christian: Appreciate that! The firelights were inspired by and named after the green insects that you see flying around especially in episode 107. They come out of nowhere, swooping in, zipping through the air, and they look cool. :)
It happens easily that a place like Zaun gets written off because dangerous experiments and shady streets scare people off. In many ways, however, it is the kind of place where a truly revolutionary technology or idea can find purchase. So if you ask me, Zaun really is the place where the true magic can happen, and Ekko totally gets that and wants to enable and amplify that.
Q: Who was the easiest character to write and who was the hardest?
Christian: Hardest I'd say Silco and Jinx. They're both stylized in very different ways. Alex is the specialist for their dialogue on our team.
Alex: They all give you trouble here and there, but I would say on average Heimerdinger and Jayce were easier to write than Silco and Jinx.
Q: Will we ever get to see a younger silco and vander pre betrayal? Also any flashbacks to silco being a dad to powder when he first took her in?
Christian: You will, in fact.
Amanda (Reply to Christian): Spoiler! In the episode that always makes me cry.
Q: Will we ever learn about why Vander betrayed Silco? What was Silco planning on doing after he gained the Nation of Zaun? Would he have attempted to improve Zaun? Even though Silco is dead, can we expect to see more of him in s2? (ex. Flashbacks and mentions of him from other characters?) What are your opinions on Silco overall? Did you expect to see him as such a fan favorite?
Christian: Silco was a very special character. During the early phase of development, we talked about everyone's chip on their shoulder. Silco's was being "the dirty little thing". Never being enough. Always having topside look down on him. He could never quite past it, and if it would take his life to escape that existence, so be it. He had nothing to lose.
At the end of the season, he realizes far too late what it's like to have something to lose. Just like Vander, radical notions begin to stumble when your loved ones are threatened by your ideology. "It all makes sense now, brother."
I don't think he had a plan after the Nation of Zaun. It was an impossible pipe dream from the beginning, and if you ask me, achieving it would probably have ruined him.
We did not expect Silco to become such a fan favorite. Jason Spisak did such a wonderful job, it's hard to put in words just how transformative his performances have been.
Alex: We've always liked the relationship between Silco and Vander. It's the original rift that informs the generational split between the sisters. I'll just say, it's a story we'd like to tell.
I think Silco always wanted to improve Zaun, though there are always trade-offs to progress. To me, the real question is who would have helped him realize this vision, and what would have mattered to him at that point in time.
Silco is one of those characters you can get addicted to writing, but I don't think we ever expected him to be such a fan favorite. It really blew my mind when some people engaged with him more as a father figure than Vander.
Amanda (Add onto Alex’s post): To me, the story of Arcane at its core is whether or not the sisters will repeat the sins of their fathers. As Vi and Jinx’s story unfolds we hope you’ll recognize the parallels between Vander and Silco’s story and be desperate for them to take a different path, impossible as that path seems to be.
Q: Did you begin writing the story with the idea of having an antagonistic corrupting/nurturing force to serve as the catalyst for who Jinx would become, or was he developed gradually over time as the right piece to fill what the script needed?
Alex: We knew fairly early that we wanted to have, as Christian put it, a non-champion "svengali" to oppose Vander in the first three episodes. The world felt small when every character happened to be a champion, and we liked the idea of the principle villain being someone who needed others to fight for him. It felt so oppositional to League.
However, we didn't initially plan for Silco to have such a presence throughout the latter half of the season, that developed over time. In fact, we were nervous about giving him too much screen time once the story with Vi and Jinx was rolling. I do remember us asking ourselves right up to the end whether or not Silco would have traded Jinx for his vision of Zaun.
Q: What's a piece of advice you'd give to people trying to create interesting/dynamic characters and stories?
Alex: For me, the best moments come from characters when they surprise you. It's easy to feel omnipotent/omniscient when you are a storyteller. You're usually one step ahead. But sometimes, as you brainstorm all the ways a character might handle a situation or argue a point, they say or do something you hadn't considered. In the best instances, it knocks you off-kilter as much as their opponent in the scene/story. I guess this is all to say, strive to make your characters cleverer than you.
Q: Which scene in the show holds a special meaning to you and why? Possibly because you relate to it personally or there's a funny story behind it from during production.
Alex: There are many, but I'll call out Silco's monologue at the beginning of 103 "Ever wonder what it's like to drown?"This used to be the opening to the show. It sort of encapsulates the core of the story. I think after writing this with Christian, and hearing Jason's performance, it was the first time he looked at me and thought "you might actually be able to write." Of course, I quickly disabused him of this fantasy.
Amanda (Add onto Alex’s post): And it’s my fault that this beautiful sequence is no longer the opening of the show. But I love what it adds to the gut punch of episode 103 and I’ll defend that choice until the day I die. (Even if Alex doesn’t exactly agree with me…)
Q: How did you decide the tone for Arcane? It has adult themes and topics but presents them with such maturity despite being seemingly high fantasy. Was the tone decided from the beginning?
Alex: Tone was the original looming question. We decided we needed to see Vi and Jinx in their younger years as sisters in order to feel the loss and yearning as they struggled to reconnect, but this also made the show feel more "kiddy." I remember calling Christian after having an epiphany that our tone could be like that of the edgier anime I appreciated growing up - no idea why this didn't occur sooner, it just hadn't felt as much like League at the time. For me, anime straddled a tonal line unlike anything else at the time - the bridge from childhood to adulthood.
Once that locked into place, it got a lot easier for me to find the story, although you're always wondering if this or that moment pushes too far. The scene where Singed injects Jinx with Shimmer gave us pause for a little while.
Some anime refs: Hellsing, Berserk, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Gungrave
Q: One question: Who came up with the idea, for Jinx Vs Ekko fight scene, it was a work of art, absolutely surreal experience, so many emotions and exposition in such small amount of time. And also on the topic : how in the world did You managed to fit so, so, so many of such scenes in only nine episodes? I mean, on top of my head, flare scene, Victors run and the climax! So much emotions on screen, i couldn't handle it.
Alex: The credit goes almost entirely to Fortiche and the music team on the bridge fight. 107 felt like a fulcrum-point in their authorship of the series - weaving their music video superpowers with the storytelling.
How we crammed so many scenes in? We wrote scripts that were too long and then battled in editing to save as many darlings as possible. (Slightly joking, but slightly not.)
Thanks for watching!
Q: Now that it's been a year, and you've been able to properly see the praise and criticism of the series, is there anything you wish you did differently? Did you expect it to blow up as much as it did?
Alex: My strategy is more to try to learn and adapt as opposed to rue the missed opportunities. Luckily, I'd say a lot of what we saw in reactions to season 1 aligned well with what we were focused on in season 2, though we did adjust emphasis here and there when we felt like fans had a strong connection with certain beats.
I don't think we ever expected it to have quite the reception it had, though we were always very confident in the quality of our voice actors' performances and the artistic brilliance of Fortiche.
Q: Will we get to know more about the mysterious wizard, who saved Jayce and his mom, in upcoming seasons?
Alex: There will be magic.
Q:  I wanted to ask if you could share a list of the champs you worked on during your time on a League, since not many people may know what you worked on prior to Arcane but I loved the creative AMAs you used to host on the forums lime for Zyra and Varus.
Alex: When I was on League, champions would always have an assigned writer/creative focused principally on their story and thematics, but it takes a village to develop a champion, so it would be disingenuous to take credit for many aspects of what they became. Some of my favorite contributions were on champions to whom I wasn't assigned. Sometimes the heart of a champion was present before they came across our desks. And then players could also imbue champions with characteristics/meaning that superseded our intentions (Blitzcrank springs to mind).
That caveat aside, some of the champs I worked on who are close to my heart despite murdering me on Summoner's Rift: Lee Sin, Graves, Leona, Caitlyn, Varus, Lulu, Thresh, Ahri, Riven, Draven, Viktor, Irelia, Nocturne, Jarvan, Karma, Maokai, Nautilus, Sejuani, Sona, Wukong, Vladimir...
There was also a lot of side content and legendary skins (I recently recalled Christian and I working together on the first PROJECT video.) It's important to note a lot of these characters were significantly deepened in updates and later content. Working at Riot is more about doing your best to carry and pass a baton than being an auteur.
Q: will we ever see vi's abs
Alex: I'll put in a request.
Q: When you where writing it, did you have any moments where everything just connected and you thought “wow! I can’t believe we’re this clever!”? If so, when?
Alex: I think what would happen more often is that I would see the end result of something I wrote and think "Wow! Thank heavens Fortiche, the voice actors, and all the other teams managed to make me look like something other than a blathering idiot!"
Of course... no one can stop me all the time.
Q: I believe Riot executives have realized the importance of Arcane to the company, does their support make production easier than before? Will season 2 come out quicker because of that?
Alex: Their support is a huge part of why Arcane has the time, trust, and resources to hit the quality we aim for. People who've worked in the industry always tell us how rare and special our situation is. However, I'd say that extra trust is more likely to mean the season would incubate for more time, rather than less.We know you're all waiting though.
We always try to find the sweet spot between bringing you content and trying to improve/polish it.
Q: In the scene where Finn tries persuading Sevika into betraying Silco, Finn mentioned something about "bigger fish than silco". I feel like this was potential foreshadowing to who will fill the power vacuum Silco left, but I'm not sure. Was Finn referencing someone within the scope of Season 1, or was he talking about someone/something we'll see in the future? (cause it makes me wanna think he was referencing Urgot potentionally)
At the end of the Bridging the Rift, y'all mentioned wanting to expand to other Runeterra regions in animation. Will these new series be anthology to Arcane, or will it be directly/partially carrying on some of Arcane's plotlines?
When and if there are more animated shows outside of Piltover and Zaun, is Fortiche willing to make these projects or can we see different animation studios throwing their hat in the ring? (ie Japanese studio animates Ionia series)
Alex:
Heh, I wondered if this stood out to anyone. There is someone he's referencing, who does capitalize on Silco's death, though I don't know if this will be apparent in season 2. It's one of the things we wanted to connect, but didn't feel was important enough to sacrifice some of the other scenes we wanted.
No specifics to report yet, but we do hope we'll be able to feel a connection between different stories we might tell, even if the camera moves to a very different place.
We love working with Fortiche and (hopefully) vice versa. We also want to explore a range of styles for League content. The question is how to best have the capacity to deliver stories regularly without diluting the quality.
Q: Will there be information about Orianna somewhere in Arcane?
Will there be hints in Arcane Season 2 about Warwick's creation?
Will Janna have any mention in Arcane?
Amanda: Yes! (not sure if a yes to all three or a specific one)

anyways, ik a lot of ppl go on here and see when I post, hoping it’s headcannons and I just disappoint them
so here’s some hc’s for u children
ny and the south edition! (pls I don’t know much about the south so don’t kill me 😭 I’m a new yorker)
(the quotes with names on it are southerners communicating with NY or whoever else u want, but more specifically NY)
-
- NC and SC always force NY or any other state who would hate it to sing and/or play the banjo when singing a song at a campfire. Even if they suck at singing or playing the banjo!!!
-speaking of campfires, I believe that the states usually have fires every Summer and Autumn. most get together and sing songs and stuff (u can use this idea if u want)
-New York was forced by Gov to make sure a southern party didn’t go terribly. He stood by the door while Texas wouldn’t leave him alone. He stole Texas’ hat when they all passed out, drunk and still has it to date.
-as (maybe) stated before, York plays a lot of instruments, and sometimes they force him to play the acoustic guitar, harmonica, banjo, electric guitar, etc. The NE makes fun of him for it.
-acts gay especially in front of the south just to make them pissed. he’ll flirt with them and make them uncomfortable with the high amount of gay in the room with them. Florida just goes along with it, laughing and pointing at all the southerners that turn away out of embarrassment.
-made fun of Texas and California when they were outlaws and they just joined the union. “I’m tha toughest cowboy ya will ever meet!” “Mhm.” “DONT JUS’ HUM AT ME!!” >:( -Texas
-They know better than to mess with a northerner. Texas doesn’t though, he’s just stupid. York punched him once and he swore he saw him crying to Virginia after.
-has bit many southerners, does not regret it
-
-“Gimme yer best ‘yeehaw’” “yeehaw..” “Ya can do better than that! I’ve heard ya yell at Jersey.” “yeehaw.” “York, I swear-“ “YEE- FUCKIN’ HAW!”-Texas
-“just add some ol’ bay, it’ll make it taste better.” “No it fuckin’ won’t. Keep that shit away from my brownies.”- Maryland
-played poker against Texas, won and almost got shot by him. (Sore loser)
-“what are yous gonna start growlin’?” “GRRRRR-” -Kentucky
-“nah yer good ‘ere.” “Yous are ontop of me. I dunno if I should feel turned on or uncomfortable..” -Georgia
-“off-brand me.” “southerner you, which makes better.” -also Georgia (Empire State and Empire State of the south)
- “who made you this way..?” “The man yer datin’, Y’know, Mass’.” “He would never-“ “Gin, yous even know the answer to this question, it’s an obvious yes.” -Virginia
-“get rid’a the car at this point.” “Hey! I spent my life savin’s on ol’ reliable ‘ere! I ain’t gettin’ rid o’ her if she jus’ has a leak!” “Life savin’s? Jesus, what’s wrong wit’ yous?” - Tennessee
-“ that’s ‘cause Sippi’ wants a sip of that dick.” “WHAT. I ain’t gay!” *crickets* “GUYS PLEASE-“ -Mississippi
-“are yous happy to live in this shithole?” “Hey! I work hard to make this house a home!” “Work harder next time. This looks like if a hillbilly came in ‘ere trashed the place. Y’know, that makes sense knowin’ that yous idiots live ‘ere.” *walks away* “HEY! YOU TAKE THAT BACK!” -Alabama
- “I HATE YOU!” “NUH UH! I HATE YOU MORE!” “‘nuh uh’ really proves yer point, north.” -NC & SC
- “Mais sha, ya really know how shade the south, huh?” “I’ve had enough of all of yous and I’ve seen ya at yer highest and lowest, so I know what will make yous cry later.” “Uh huh, do me then.” “Nah. Don’ get me wrong, yer barely tolerable, but ya don’ get one.” - Louisiana
(loui was upset later bc he didn’t get one 😭)
-“I swear, ya say anythin’ about me bein’ in ‘misery’ then I’m gonna-“ “Nah, I don’ care ‘bout that. What I do care about is why you like mules better than horses. Isn’t that like the whole southerner thing? Horses and idiots with hats?” -Missouri
-“are yous even apart of the south, or are you like the West Virginia of Kansas?” “JESUS IS GONNA NEED TO BLESS YER ASS SOON, WHAT THE HELL DID YA JUS’ SAY TO ME?!” “I’m Jewish.” -Arkansas
-“yer mid-atlantic, but I understand why ya don’ go to family dinnahs wit’ the Northeast. If I had an excuse, I would use it too.” “You guys are scary up there, I’m shocked you still go to those things. In the ‘contract’ they said they were optional.” “FUCKIN’ OPTIONAL?!” -Delaware
-“I will eat your face.” “Uh huh.” “PAY ATTENTION TO ME OR IM GOING TO DO SOMETHING DRASTIC!” “Uh huh.” “AAAAAAAAA-“- Florida
could u tell I got lazy at the end?
anyway, I hope you liked
I spent so long on the quotes, trying to come up with a good one was the hardest part.
and I know half of them are reaaally bad 😭
augh
I have no clue what to do for the next chapter of a fic
but anyways, ily guys

Hii can i request goo x gun nsfw hcs? 🥺 Love you, stay safe 💘
💚NSFW Headcanons for Gun x Goo💚
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Author’s Note: 🚨THIS IS A MLM PAIRING, AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE MLM SHIPS, KEEP IT PUSHING🚨 Hi Anon! I’m glad you requested this bc I ADORE these two more than I love most things!!! I REALLY hope you meant these two as a couple and not individually lol. I have made this mistake b4😅 Here's the SFW Headcanons 🩵 This is a LONG one so ENJOY!!!
Tumblr media
Just to get this out of the way: They’re both switches!!! Fuck all of that heteronormative “who’s the top?” and “who’s the bottom?” bullshit.
They both think it's dumb and, there was a mutual understanding between the two that they don't mind going both ways with each other.
Sex happens in the most yee-yee ways. Like, at random while Goo is cooking, Gun decides that he wants to give head.
And 9 times out of 10, Goo is down for impromptu sex.
But funnily enough, Gun is not very likely to have a moment like the one previously described.
Gun would have to be super wound up sexually to just suck dick on Impulse lol.
They have matching sex drives…kinda.
I know that sounds like I contradicted myself from what I said about Gun, just hear me out please:
Both Gun and Goo have high sex drives, it’s just that Gun doesn't typically initiate sex and it takes him a while to get going (NO Gun does not have an erectile dysfunction lolol)
Goo, however, seems like he’s ready to go at all times, and he’s much more likely to initiate sex.
Goo is the type to drop random sexual innuendos into casual conversations that he’s having with Gun.
Like Goo is known for being “The Most Unserios Man on The Planet™”, but he’s not the type to be blatantly sexual even with Gun.
So chances are, if Goo is throwing out sex joke after sex joke, it's safe to say that Goo NEEDS to get off.
These two have mastered the art of a quickie and all variations of the proverbial quickie.
Handjobs under a table?- You got it!
Super GawkGawk-3000 WITH a facial while being chauffeured to an event? - They’ve done it (Lil Nasties lol)
Even though they’ve mastered the ancient art of being sexual deviants in public, Gun and Goo do find the time to have long-form bedroom fun.
Marathon sex. They have marathon sex. Albeit, not that often but the point still stands.
So when I say marathon sex, I mean upwards of 3 to 4 hours.
For context, sex on average last for about an hour (including foreplay). So these mfs are going at it.
But don't think that GG aren’t taking breaks throughout the marathon. Because trust me, they are. But with a caveat.
Marathon sex for GG is like a war of attrition. Think back to when they were in the sauna. Except for this time, they’re seeing which one of them cums first lol.
I lied in my SFW HC for these two when I said that paying for their penthouse was the only thing that they went 50/50.
I say that because whenever these idiots are doing their war of attrition, its split 50/50 on who cums first lol.
But once they’re both completely spent and can't go anymore, these two don't cuddle. At least Gun doesn't
Gun: It's too damn hot for cuddling, move (Cuz Goo would, no doubt, would be sprawled out on Gun regardless of who topped)
Goo: Boo you’re no fun!! Don’t you wanna hold each other?
Gun: Fuck no.
Goo: Yea, I don’t blame you!
And Goo goes to sleep, while Gun has one last cigarette before going to sleep as well.
Tumblr media
This was fun to write, and I really hope you enjoyed reading this. I still have some WIPS to get back to, and I’ll get to them…eventually lol. Anyways, feel free to comment and request stuff. My inbox is open so have fun. BYE!!!!

This is a small preview to a future series. This will be an AOT story in a "modern-era" with supernatural creatures. Mainly vampires! This will be a Male!Reader x AOT characters, but mainly with Mikasa/Annie. Haven't really chose who will be the one, but those two will be the main ones.
MC will be a Yan!MC, not so much abuse will be involved!! Not that many dark themes will be added regarding that. He's just crazy bc he lost his first mate so.....yee.
It’s said that the night is terrifying in every possible way. That it would only take a person to imagine what was lying in the dark.
“Levi, come here.”
A black haired male, well into his early 30s, looked away from the moon shining through the ceiling glass window. His silver blue eyes dragged downward and onto a male sitting on a black chair illuminated by the blue moonlight. The voice belonged to him and Levi walked over to the man sitting at the desk, seeing the hungry red eyes of his superior.
“Bring me anyone from Nostalgia,” The man with red eyes ordered, his fangs peeking out every syllable he spoke. The man’s hand was placed under his chin holding up his terribly weakening body. His superior had been suffering for the past weeks because of the lack of sufficient blood he needed.
In response, Levi sighed with a roll of his eyes and said, “Their blood is tainted and you want to drink from them? I think it’s a shitty idea for you to do that, so just drink from me.” Levi offered his arm out and in his other hand appeared a dagger with a black hilt and gold trimming. He saw the dangerous flash of the bright red eyes of his superior and he brought the blade to his wrist. He pointed the tip in and before he could draw a line, he was stopped with an order.
“Freeze,” The commanding voice said and Levi stopped in his tracks. The order was so strong even when his superior was lacking the blood to keep him powerful. “Levi, you cannot be the one I bond with. You are my greatest friend and I cannot drag you to Hell with me. I will only drink from those beneath me.”
Levi gritted his teeth and released himself from the commandment with a groan. He took a deep breath in and huffed out, “You’re going to die if you don’t drink from a hybrid or a pureblood. If Freida didn’t stray away-”
“Freida was naive!” The man shouted in anger, standing up from his chair and slamming his fist onto the desk. It broke in half under his strength and his papers went flying. “She was my mate! And she was killed because she didn’t listen to me! That stupid brat she spent time with, her foolish father got Frieda killed!”
Levi looked down at the floor, ignoring the heated gaze from his superior. Bringing up Frieda was poor taste, but it was needed.
“[Name] as your greatest friend,” Levi started his sentence, clenching the dagger in his hand tightly, “I cannot watch you like this. I will find you another mate, one that will listen to you. You need better blood, one that will give you strength. If you succumb to thirst, they will come for you next.”
[Name] looked down at his broken desk and relaxed his hand, a large splinter had made its way into his palm. His blood slowly oozed from the wound he created. Then his red eyes looked up to see Levi turned away with his hand covering his nose. [Name] walked over to his cupboard and took a small glass out. He set it down on the counter and pulled the splinter out with ease, not even wincing from the pain.
“It’ll be a waste, Levi,” [Name] said softly, flicking the splinter off to the side. His wounded hand hovered over the glass and he formed a fist making the blood flow faster down into the cup. Then he focused on healing his wound, watching as it closed up not a trace of a scar.
[Name] raised the half full cup and swirled the bright red blood of his around. He watched the slight glitter it gave off and smiled. His blood was still pure despite him drinking from humans. “You have served me well, so let me serve you just this once,” [Name] spoke as he walked to Levi who gave him a glare of resentment.
“No,” Levi scowled and kept his nose covered, “I will not drink your blood.”
“Are you afraid, Levi?” [Name] asked with concern, the glass still held out to the black haired male. He was standing before Levi, the hybrid ignoring his gaze and [Name] smacked his lips. His anger getting the best of him, “Fine then, I'll force that human I have held in the dungeons to drink my blood. Maybe he’ll be more intrigued by my offer than you. Or I’ll ask that crazy scientist to have a taste. Both those humans are prisoners to the truth, they would want to see what happens, don’t you think?”
Levi hardened his gaze and [Name] could hear the beating heart of the shorter male. A dangerous glint flittered in his eyes and [Name] knew Levi was not going to watch another human die from drinking royalty’s blood. So Levi held his hand out and [Name] smirked with deviousness, “And he succumbs to the Devil.”

[TRANSLATION] Art and Piece Issue 16 - Dora Ng about Leslie Cheung
Tumblr media
"If you ask me what I miss most about him, I think it’d be that really kind and approachable feeling."
FLOATING BY, SWEEPING PAST, THEN REMEMBERING AGAIN
Dora Ng - Costume Lead, "He's a Woman, She's a Man"
I am Dora Ng, I love fashion, am a movie costume director/ lead, and had the privilege of snapping a few design shots for Gor-Gor. In the blink of an eye, twenty years have passed. My relationship with him can probably be described as... honest acquaintances. Actually, we only worked together a few times, but the first collaboration was already the most well-known one: He’s a Man, She’s a Woman.
Being in the industry for so many years, I can’t deny that a superstar like Leslie felt very distant at first. It’s only when I got to know him that I found his friendliness and warmth could melt the ice between person and person. I first worked with him on “He’s a Man”, and at the time we frequently discussed our worries about the budget being quite small. He generously said, “Come to my house and pick out some clothes then!” He was completely serious - it was both surprising and touching. To be blunt, Gor-gor’s home was a sea of clothes, but he never hurried us or questioned us. The most memorable time was when we spent over two hours there but still hadn’t finished our work. He ended up saying, “Since this is the situation now, how about you stay for dinner together?” It was just a simple sentence. An outsider might find it hard to understand how meaningful that was, but Gor-gor was that person who is always willing to help you; always willing to give you patience, time and space.
He wouldn’t stop chatting with you, and would try his best to make you relaxed. That’s still something unforgettable for me. Other than the two He’s a Man films, I also worked with Gor-gor on Okinawa Rendez-vous and Anna Magdalena. I especially remember that Leslie refused to wear big brands in Anna Magdalena and suggested wearing regular clothing instead. He was very clear on the fact that the character was an ordinary magazine editor and not Leslie Cheung. However, my most unforgettable memory of him is still the filming of Who’s The Woman, Who’s The Man. I took a few design shots of Leslie so we could be more coordinated in changing outfits for different scenes. I remember for one of those pictures, I was really nervous while holding the stack of clothes at the side, waiting for Leslie to change. Gor-gor, being the caring and attentive person that he was, started chatting with me and then suddenly stretched out his arm and patted me on the head. He said one sentence: “Don’t worry, you have your market too.” Even for the hotel scene in He’s A Man, Gor-gor saw that I looked very nervous, so he pushed me on the bed and tickled me, saying repeatedly, “Smile a little, don’t be so nervous!” Leslie in the mid-90s was the most popular superstar - he could have just sat and waited, but he was always so caring to everyone and everything around him. He was always very sensitive and thoughtful towards us.
I definitely have feelings of regret and sadness, especially when I knew that Leslie was planning his directorial debut while filming the He’s a Man series and Anna Magdalena. Yee Chung Man and I both had the opportunity to work on that film, but when the opportunity disappeared, that feeling of sorrow and missing him was really hard to describe. If you ask me what I miss most about him, I think it’d be that really kind and approachable feeling - no wonder everyone called him “Gor-gor”.
Gor-gor, floated by, swept past, and remembered again - that memory always feels warm in my heart.
T/N: Translated the lyric “飄過掠過再記起” from the song “妳在何地/Where Are You” as “Floating By, Sweeping Past, Then Remembering Again”.

So, you want reader pregnant in fashion designer aemond? Ask and you shall receive. ;) also, the sex scenes in here are inspired by nate and Casey in euphoria and wong chia chi and Mr yee in lust, caution. I just want to write a scene where both parties can enjoy explicit activities without any red flags between them.
There she was, in the throes of passion. Her limbs were tangled with aemond's while he was deep inside her. Their bodies created friction while their souls rubbed and blended together. Aemond could not help but see the deliciously unique contrast between what he was seeing and what she was displaying in public. He would remember the photos of his early days with her on his fashion website. They were prim, proper and devoid of any emotion. Some even had a sweet smile. Now, on the glossy fashion and tech magazines, they looked proud, intelligent and fierce. But the ones that he had in his private collection might even out some of the most erotic of stars blush in shame.
His sweet little wife was beneath him, wailing and crying his name as he relentlessly rutted inside her. He needed to make sure that he had the perfect photograph.
He could remember the first time she was daring enough to wear one of his sheer dresses. She had slowly untied it before lying down on his table, skirt hiked up to her waist, breasts covered with one of her hands and lips parted. Gradually, it became more risqué. There she was, taking off her dress in a slow and sensual manner. Her eyes wide with lust and her breathing incredibly heavy. Aemond swallowed as he saw what only he could see before taking his camera and photographing it. He then took her in his arms and kissed his little wife. Gently at first before it became heavier, heavier and heavier. Soon, they were on the floor with her on top on him and his hands pressing her face against his in order to continually deepen the kiss and reader riding against him. These passionate moments were somehow captured on camera. Since that day onwards, their fashion photography "sessions" turned into their escapades.
Reader could remember feeling her wrists bounded above her head with silk and her husband parting the slight gap the dress had between her cleavage. Aemond then kissed her while pinching her nipples between twisting it, leading her to gasp. He then took advantage of her open mouth by using his tongue to dominate her mouth. He then pulled away to inspect his work and was satisfied with his work, which was the fact that his wife's lips were swollen and bruised with her hair tangled and wild.
His good eye then turned to her breasts and nipples and decided that they weren't good enough. He then made them perkier by pinching, twisting and biting them before having the finishing touch by impaling her relentlessly. His cum then dripped between her thighs. He then clicked his tongue and decided that his creation looked good before taking several photographs of his wife's state.
And that was what he was doing again. He decided that his craft wasn't good enough and needed a good moulding.
"Aemond! Please! How much longer?" whimpered his dear little wife, as she clung to him.
"Not yet, my dear," growled Aemond, as he impaled her mercilessly before shouting out his pleasure that coated her fertile womb.
After photographing her spent nude state, Aemond then picked up his little wife and carried her to their bedroom. He ensured that he cleaned her up, gave her a glass of water before kissing her forehead and wrapping her arms around her soft tiny body that was meant for him and his only.
"Are you alright?" he whispered to her.
His wife nodded. "Just tired, that's all"
With that, he kissed her forehead and wrapped her against his body.
But, of course, like any typical marriage, it has it's ups and downs. Reader could remember the day when Aemond broke down in his office after hearing the passing of his father.
Despite seeing them fight, reader could understand the complicated feelings Aemond had towards his father. That resentment and anger mixed with affection. It was similar to her feelings towards her tough Asian mother.
There he was, breaking down in the bathroom with tears staining his cheeks. Reader then reached out to wrap her arms around him and held him tight. Aemond, of course, reciprocated. Gently, reader then guided him up from the floor and to their marriage bed with her wrapping her arms around him while he fell asleep.
It wasn't until a couple of days later when they heard the news of Viserys' will and that was all of the inheritance would go to Rhaenyra. Aemond, who had been working incredibly hard to make sure that the business stayed afloat, of course, was enraged. There she was, an incompetent little fool, who was there because daddy said so, receiving every single thing whilst Aemond and his birth family would not receive anything!
"Can you believe it?! Everything going to her! Was he really that blind?!" snarled Aemond, trying to take off his tie.
His wife then quickly reached out to help him.
"Tell me about it. I was angry about it as well. She's nothing more than a typical spoiled white brat who's there because daddy said so while people like us have to fight ten times harder! I've met people like her at my workace as well so I know how you feel, Aemond," said reader vehemently before asking, "Anyway, are you going to challenge the will or purchase all of the shares?"
That gave Aemond pause for thought. Challenging the will might be a costly legal battle. It might also damage his brand and reputation. But purchasing all of the shares? It would give him ownership of the company!
His good eye then landed on his wife. He looked at her dark tresses. Her brightly coloured dress. Her sweet perfume. The way the light caressed her sweet round face. The sway of her hips and her breasts. Her soft plump lips.
Without a warning, Aemond crashed his lips against hers and kissed her fiercely. Shock then came from her mouth before reader reciprocated. She was slammed against the wall with her husband ripping her undergarment. Her eyes widened before squeezing shut in pleasure as he impaled her womanhood. Her toes then tried to reach the floor but it was useless as his strength completely dominated hers, leaving her no choice but to cling to him. As she was about to reach her peak, Aemond then threw her on their bed.
It was clear that tonight would not consist of a slow and gentle sex but night of rough fucking. And reader knew on how much he needed this and allowed him to use her body for whatever emotion was deeply pent up inside his body.
Reader could then feel his strong chest behind her back as he unzipped her yellow dress and unclipped her bra. Her wrists were then bound behind her as he lowered her yellow dress to reveal her breasts, leaving her nipples vulnerable to his touches as he continuously rubbed and thumbed them, creating a delicious friction that made her core clench and unclench.
"Do you like it?" said her husband huskily.
His little wife just nodded.
He then slapped her sensitive clit. His little wife whimpered.
"Yes. Ah!" she cried out, as Aemond deliciously pulled her head back with her jet black hair.
"This is mine. Do you understand?!" growled Aemond, as he continuously slapped her wet pussy, in which she whimpered and nodded.
Aemond then impaled her mercilessly before slamming his hips relentlessly. He then trailed a series of kisses from the back of his wife's ear, her neck and down her spine while leaving little teasing love bites here and there.
"Only I can bring you pleasure. Only I can make you peak. Only I can give you release. Do you understand?!"
Despite his violence against her body, it was clear that she felt nothing but warmth, love and affection towards her. His actions were both cruel but with ghosts of gentleness in order to prevent her from breaking. Her wails only grew louder, louder and louder the more he slammed his hips inside her, which created more friction between her nipples and the sheets on their bed
"Do?!" Thrust. "You?!" Thrust. "Understand?!"
"Yes!" replied reader before crying out for her release with Aemond.
And that was when he finally released the bounds on her wrists and flipped her over. Their eyes locked. It was almost as if they were looking at each other for the first time again.
Aemond then leaned forward to kiss her on her lips gently before inserting himself inside her again and lacing his fingers with hers. Unlike the first time, it was quite gentle, as if Aemond now wanted to ensure that her body was not brutalised by him. It was as if she could now slowly and gently enjoy his fingers stroking her petals while her head sank to her pillow and shut her eyes before slowly crying out her release.
"I want to have children with you," whispered Aemond into her ears.
"I want to watch you grow fat with our child. I want to watch you waddle, as you try to keep up with me. I want to watch your breasts swell with milk. And I want our children to be as kind, beautiful and intelligent as you. Will you give me that?" he whispered.
Reader nodded before the two of them continued to make love throughout the night. They knew that no matter what would happen, they would always be there for each other. They were each other's best friends, companions, confidantes, spouses and lovers. The two of them finished again and wrapped their limbs around each other with Aemond still deep inside her.
Somehow, they knew that the seed has taken root inside the reader's welcoming womb.

HEY HEY HEY YALL!!! it’s yee-hawgust so it’s time for another story!
Forced to be loved but love to be yours, a osamu miya x oc!.
chapta 1: Let the games begin
I had been preparing myself for months, thinking of the most discrete way to sneak into the mafia building and steal the information. My country’s intelligence services knew how delicate this mission was and had entrusted it to their best agent: me. Crawling through the air duct of the mafia headquarters, i checked the map I was holding in one hand to locate the ventilation hatch giving access to the archive room. However, the shaft was dark, and i couldn't make out any trap door. I continued moving forward, hoping to see anything that could help me.
“Dammit” i muttered to myself, “It has to be somewhere. It should be her-”
I didn't have time to finish my sentence when i felt the trapdoor give way under my weight. I fell into the archive room and landed on a pile of old papers and files, hurting my bum in the process.
“Ouch…” i complained while standing up.
I rubbed my buttocks (i can’t get over that word🤣) to ease the pain, taking a few steps to stretch my muscles after the endless minutes I spent in the air duct. I took a look at the room around me: quiet and seemingly empty. The surroundings were barely lit, but i could make out shelves lined up next to each other filled with boxes marked with the "top secret" stamp. As I went to touch a box, i stopped as I heard a mocking laugh:
“That was quite a fall! Seems like you have a talent for dramatic entrances.”
Shit, i thought. I could recognise this assholes voice anywhere. his voice, full of this sarcastic tone and dripping with arrogance. It was of course fox, one of my dads worst enemies son. His dads name is Matsuda, his code name is wolf, and his sons name is atsumu but his code name is fox. their whole organization was mainly made up of those kinds of animals as code names.
I put on a cold expression as I prepared to turn around, facing him. There was no way I was going to show this idiot that he had taken me by surprise (even if it was pretty obvious).
“You seem to follow me everywhere: Paris, Buenos Aires, Cairo, now here. I’m starting to think you have a crush on me.”
He spoke.
I rather quickly turned around to face him
“Maybe you should stop thinking then.”
He let out a laugh.
“At least you didn’t lose your sharpness, sweetheart.”
“What are you doing here?” I asked.
“The same thing as you I assume.”
I rolled my eyes. Of course, he was not going to give a clear answer, that would be too easy. But i needed to know: did he already find the file? Was I too late? How to steal it back from him?
“All the time you waste talking to me is time you don't spend looking for information.”
I noticed.
Fox smirked, a sparkle in the eyes. I knew him well enough to know that this look was never a good sign. He was plotting something.
“I have all the time I need.” He said as he slowly get surly walked towards me
I let out a laugh. This behaviour would have fooled me a few years ago, but not now.
“So, you didn’t find it, huh? You’re very arrogant for someone this useless….sweetheart.”
My answer took him by surprise, and he stopped dead in his tracks. After a few seconds he smiled, amused.
“You caught me. I don’t have the file.” He admitted. “I have been here long enough to understand the classification of documents though. If we teamed up, we could help each other.”
I glanced over at the shelves that lined up until they disappeared into the darkness. Who knew how many boxes this room had? Finding that file might take me longer than i thought. I looked back at the spy now towering over me. His dark clever gaze made me wary. I knew his penchant ( meaning a strong habitual liking for something or a tendency to do something) for devious schemes, and i also knew how easy it was for him to lie. Could I really take that risk?
“ Fine.” I said curtly. “But only today. This will never happen again. Ever.”
“As you wish, sweets.” He replied with satisfaction.
He guided me as he zigzagged between the shelves, lighting the way with his lighter.
“Stay close to me. It's easy to get lost here.” He whispered.
I just rolled my eyes. He made it seem like we were in a horror movie with traps lurking around each corner. Yet I ignored it because he’s just being dramatic.
Finally, he stopped in front of a shelf.
“It should be here, somewhere in one of those boxes. We find it together and we both have the info we need.”
I nodded and started opening the boxes as he did the same on his side. I opened files after files, not finding the one I was looking for. My temporary partner didn't seem to find anything either, and it was obvious that this was starting to annoy him. His jaw was clenched, and his eyes scanned the documents at full speed.
“ You know you cant find this file by looking at me, right?” he said jokingly.
I immediately focused again, opening another box. I took out the first stack of  papers i saw and read it. I smiled: I found it.
“Seems like I can after all.” I said bobbing my head in a mocking way, brandishing my findings.
I could not take my eyes off the paper cover, a smile light up my face. Fox moved closer to me to read the file over my left shoulder. His chest was almost touching my back to the point where i could feel the heat of his body even through my clothes. His proximity caught me by surprise but he didn't seem to mind. He photographed the pages of the file and then put his camera back in his pocket.
“Good, let's go. We can't hang around here.”
We walked all the way back to the air duct, without exchanging a single word.
“ I guess this is where we part ways.” He announced. “ This collaboration wasn’t that terrible. Plus, it gave you a good excuse to spend time with me.”
“You're more bearable when you're quiet, has anyone ever told you that?”
He came closer to me, but i refused to move. It had been a long time since I was intimidated by him. He got so close that our noses almost touched. Finally, he whispered:
“ Yes, but it’s so much better when you say it.”
Rising on tiptoe, i put my lips to his and slipped my hand around him. He put his hands on my cheeks and kissed me back. A smirk formed on my face as i pulled the mechanism that lifted me into the air to the hatch. Confused, he watched me pull myself up into the ventilation shaft.
“i hope you know i still hate you”
he said crossing his arms and looked up to me in the shaft.
“By the way, I took the liberty of borrowing your camera. I'll give it back to you the next time we meet. But I hope that day never comes.”
I hurriedly shut the vent door and pressed my ear to it. All I heard was him chuckling and in a raspy low devious voice he said,
“That girl”
I then heard him scoff and run away. I chuckled to myself but that smile quickly faded to a smirk, due to me realizing, I had just started the worlds most deadly game of tag.
OMG! i’m in love with this ong! lemme know if you wanna see a part two!

dr3 chiaki for the ask game?
CHIAKI CHIAKI CHIAKI CHIAKI CHIAKIIIIIIIIIII
i kinda don't distinguish dr3 and sdr2 Chiaki becuse I close my eyes at the part of the canon that says she's dead lol. it's my world and my rules she's alive and well ok
favorite thing about them
Her passion to her hobby/talent. I relate to that a lot and also find it a very interesting quirk of hers. Like other ultimates don't really lose their sleep and food to do more photos or cooking or else. Other than Ryota and that's why we kin him too. Idk makes me wonder why Nanami is the way she is
least favorite thing about them
Here's two 1) The way fandom treats her. She gets SO much hate and for what? She just wanted to play her silly games all day and have friends :( The "mary sue" treatment like yeah she's not the best written character in the series but she's fine! It's not a crime to not have a detail backstory or character. it's sad we don't have it, but it doesn't make her awful. Oh and I HATE the "waifu bait" thing!! The fact that Kodaka said in the interview that he made a character with similar hobbies as him is not the same as waifu bait! I can relate to this feeling of his and see nothing bad with it. She's not just a pretty looks and "uwu gamer girl" (she doesn't fit the stereotype at all imo) and those who think otherwise didn't really pay attention to her. And 2) How little focus she has despite her role. I wish dr3 spent some time developing her character and story. We know very little about her life before the events! And it's sad! Her behavior gives a lot of food for thought of why she's the way she is and I would love to see more canon material about it. Esp if we consider that in canon it's the real Chiaki. Not focusing on her as a person was a big mistake
favorite line
From sdr2: "Nagito can you please be quiet" like yes girl!! So epic of her. AND THE WAY NAGITO IMMEDIATELY SHUTS UP FDKGMJ. And "How should I lure out Nagito? No, acting sexy won't work..." like girl why was it the first idea you had huh?? Huh?? huuuh??? 👁👁👁👁
From dr3: "I wanted to play games with you... One more time..." and her whole near death speech in general. like GIRL YOU'RE DYING AND YOU THINK YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SHOULD SAY SORRY?? Let me hug you T^T I had to rewatch that scene for this and it breaks my heart everytime. ON A BRIGHTER NOTE it's not a line but a k.o she gave Hanamura even tho she was affected by the soup. It was so badass of her like YEES GIRL SHOW HIM!!!! #HanamuraSlander
brOTP
So many honestly... Hinanami and even komanami, her and chihiro and her and sonia... I feel like she would get along with a lot of people
OTP
Komanami 100%. Nanami canonically has always been the only person in their class who didn't hate Komaeda at every point of the story. She has always shown compassion and support to him. While also not approving of his wrong actions and doing her best to show him that there's other way. That he can be their classmate and friend too. There's part in her dr wiki page that says "Even self-deprecating Nagito Komaeda understands that Chiaki would always invite him even if no one else would" LIKE?? And people still say that they canonically hate each other??? I'm sure they were friends in dr3
nOTP
Hinanami lol. Sorry to every hinanami lover here but I don't see the chemistry at all. And I just feel like the impact they had on each other hits stronger if you think of them as friends. At least it's the way I see it lol. Don't think it's bad tho, it's definitely nice. Just not my cup of tea
random headcanon
Autistic!! It makes SO much sense, the most making sense thing possible ever. Gaming is also her coping mechanism and a way to hide from outside world, that feels too unpredictable and scary to her
unpopular opinion
Things i said in "least favorite thing about them" and also does headcanoning her alive and giving her more character traits and more detailed story counts? idk. Also there's no way she's as skinny as in canon
song i associate with them
"Apparently there's a cheat code for happiness" eng cover by Milkychan. Because I heard in a first Nanami edit I saw back in 2019 by an editor that since long deleted their videos... They greatly inspired me to edit too. Other than that it also fits her. The way she also interprets things in life as in video game. I can see her understanding key elements of happiness at life as some video game achievements or boosts klhgbn
favorite picture of them
One apple tall

I don't understand the appeal of just deki/shizuka there's nothing interesting here it's just a bland dynamic.
yee that's why we stan dekinobi or an ot3 between dekisugi shizuka and nobita
but if you want a longer read, in my opinion fujiko initially made dekisugi as an anti thesis for Nobita, but the thing is, fujiko already made a smart/ perfect character that is Shizuka. the difference was she's a girl and also the love interest for Nobita. If you were able to read earlier doraemon chapters where Dekisugi wasn't even created yet, there are moments where Shizuka was the one compared with Nobita, in terms of intelligence/ cleverness. But i think Fujiko felt it was janky, because Shizuka was the love interest, so she's mostly portrayed as positive, so it's hard to sympathize/ understand Nobita's problem as the lazy, unmotivated, slowpoke. And Shizuka is just a sweet gal, isn't she? We spent lots of chapters with her and we grew fond of her, so it's hard to root for either one of them. Therefore Dekisugi was created. Practically a carbon copy of Shizuka, but male so it's easier to assume him and Nobita as rival instead of as another love interest (remember doraemon was made in the 20th century, where queerness in childrens' fiction was still pretty foreign), and we rarely spend time with him, so we have no idea what his personality like. Was he really that nice or is he sussy? His interaction everytime he appeared in any chapter was only as, the perfect guy that excels in what Nobita couldn't, and being touchy with Shizuka so Nobita could get jealous and started the story, except for that one time where doraemon and co with dekisugi and two other boys collabed to make film, but even then the story started with Nobita getting irked only by seeing him (i was so glad they got along well in the whole chapter other than the earlier part) therefore, that's what makes Deki/shizu weird and bland. They're perfect yes, they're nice, smart, talented, but that's it. No chemistry was actually shown between them, other than, what i felt like, cheesy attempts by Fujiko to force them together so Nobita would get jealous (exchanging diaries with each other?? I don't want to stereotype but, come on Fujiko, that's not exactly what two straight people do when pining for each other, that's more like what girlie will do with her gay bestfriend).

to further elaborate on the pre-previous post
so like two weeks ago i was without one of my meds for a whole week so i FEEL like im catching up to myself. I am still not taking my adhd meds because expensive, and i'm over all just in a state of oh shit, i'm gonna be 37 in august.
when i was hitting 30 i always used to think lol i'll embrace my forties like it's NOTHING until i got to where i am now and i am bouncing between:
oh yeah this is great!!
and oh yeah this is terrible!!
i feel like i've lost my ability to succinctly express why for either of those feels which then drops into the terrible feel pretty hard.
like, one, i am convinced no one gives a shit (and this doesn't hurt my feelings, it's just i've become increasingly aware of how annoying i can be or how much i may talk about myself and then i get caught up in this circular thinking of "oh no, thinking about how annoying i am because i talk about myself IS the problem causing me to be aannoying because i fdxjglkdflgkfd" do u see? i stop while i am ahead and just say: no. no one cares and what u have to say is probably boring anyway TBQH lol, but then that's self-depreciating isn't it? oy)
and TWO: i am freaking out that i am almost forty and i have not done ANYTHING worth while for my passion of writing. not even a shitty self published chapbook ???? like cmon man whats up with that?!?!?
so anyway in an effort to actually feel like i'm doing SOMETHING i keep trying to find poetry/writing related events in the city. after all that is part of why i moved here. I wanted to connect to that world that didn't exist for me in yee haw ville. so far ive gone to one reading and one jam and actually read my poems to like an audience of three old ladies and two young librarians so like... feeling validated there.
lol.
bitch this is so long dgklfdjgldkfjgfd
my point is it feels like i only give myself brainspace and time on weekends and then one wrong thing (bad weather, no meds, financial stress) can ruin my entire mood for said weekend. i need to figure out how to take my time back.
Tumblr media
and in reclaiming my time i am trying to use the time spent going "i cant do it i cant write" thinking of ideas.
i have one vaguely. idek if its worth exploring but fuck it, im gonna??
my great great grandpa's name is ransom lafeyette smith. i've decided that name is too fuckin bitchin to not be some yee haw cowboy cajun boy in a world full of magic. just fuckin gonna do it.
so thats whats up and its ok if u skim and get to this and go wait what? bc same, tbqh.

Alex Yee's interview Nominated Labor of Love
Full interview: https://www.awardsdaily.com/2022/08/18/arcane-co-creator-alex-yee-on-his-emmy-nominated-labor-of-love/ Highlighting more of Caitlyn and Vi's relationship for this blog to put in my pinned post
Awards Daily: Continuing on that theme, the relationships between the characters on the show is what moves everything forward. Silco and Jinx was one of my personal favorites, and also Vi and Jinx, and then later Caitlyn and Jinx. It sounds like there wasn’t as much of that in the game, so how did you go about crafting it?
Alex Yee: This was definitely something that took a little bit of learning on our parts, because in the games the type of relationships that would form are closest allies and most hated enemies. Vi and Caitlyn in the game are partners, an odd couple cop duo. And Jinx when she was released had this completely enigmatic background; all you knew was that she had it in for Vi. What was good about having that as a setup for going into the show was that there were so many questions that the players wanted to have answered.
Read more below
Awards Daily: This is more of a fan question. One of my favorite scenes was when Vi has Sevika pinned asking, where is Silco holding Powder, and the genuine confusion on Sevika’s face saying she is not a captive, she works for him. Then, literally as she is stabbing Vi, saying she is practically his daughter. Anything you can tell me about creating that scene ?
Alex Yee: So much of that was really loaded because we are finally getting Vi back into the story. We had this deliberate decision in episode four to hide her so you would be asking the question, Where is Vi? What is up with her? So episode five was her reemergence into Zaun and discovering everything. That scene was for a really long time the culmination of finally realizing what has become this world of hers. We wanted it to just hit as hard as it could for Vi, especially since we were crafting the story without knowing where we were going to end. It just felt so unthinkable that the same guy that Vi has spent years and years punching the wall just imagining, if I could just get one more shot at this guy, and hoping my sister is alive and I can find her, just dreaming of that reunion. And to have that gut punch or, as it became, the gut stab of realizing somehow she is on his side and replaces Vander, who Vi loves more than anyone. and has had to basically be knocked unconscious immediately after grappling with losing him. That scene for us felt like this is the moment where everything lands for her. Beyond that, I enjoyed so many parts of that episode. After that fight is the first moment of trust between Vi and Caitlyn. Like okay, I tried to run away, but you still came and helped. I am still going to pick you up and we are talking frankly to each other. It felt like, okay now, we are running and the story is moving. In terms of the fight, there are more memories about how the fight developed because that was the first time with Fortiche that we crafted a fight with dialogue that was like a fight amongst real fighters. We had the kids fight before; I suppose we had Vander fight, but that felt so much like the hero stop at the end of episode three. This was the raw all-out, both of them giving them everything they had. Vi realizing the power of shimmer and what it has become. Watching Fortiche and all the choices that they made, the different camera angles–that was a point of discovery for us in what we could give them, and what they could give back to us, and how they could level up a fight emotionally.
Awards Daily: So, you are a first time animator and writer, and you basically swept the Annie Awards, and you have two Emmy nominations. What is your secret?
Alex Yee (laughing)-I wish I knew, you know. It’s really hard to say because I do not know the industry well enough to tell you what we are doing differently. This was a show that really meant a lot to us. We were writing it for ourselves in a lot of ways. I think one of the things is especially when I look at video game adaptations as a fan, because of course I grew up with all this. What you could feel so many times was that this was an adult who doesn’t play the game trying to figure out what is going to appeal to me as a kid who plays the game that they do not understand. One of the reasons we are starting to see more successful and authentic video game adaptations is that we kids have grown up and for us there is not this younger audience that we need to translate to. We are talking about the characters and the things that we love. I think another feather in our cap for having worked on the game, not only was I there for the inception of the characters and how players received them, but I also saw how players embraced and reformed the characters themselves.
One of the things that I discovered working on League is that you do not 100% own the characters once you release them, you share them with the audience. The way the audience interprets them becomes a lot of their identity. Like the way the relationship between Vi and Caitlyn in my mind really was more something the fans craved and built more of. When we were making the show I thought, this is what they are and how we should build them. So I don’t know. I think we just tried to be as true as we could to the show that we wanted and not write down to an audience. Other than that, the animation quality of Fortichie and the artistic style across every discipline are absolutely brilliant. I also feel we really had something to prove and a real mission with the show, and I think for a lot of people they wanted to be part of something with that kind of ambition. And when they saw people giving it all in that way no one wants to be the lagging leg. Everyone was, like, we have to step it up. It is just so nice to be in one of those environments with a lot of creatives just jamming together.
