Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?

I mean, I wouldn't say I outright hated it, but I never used to be a big fan of Norkus. But fandom played a large part in making me like North as much as I do, and as a result, I ended up liking the ship quite a lot!! Still prefer not to persue the romance when I play as I'm not a huge fan of how it plays out in game but I do like the idea of it!

My art style is not instantly recognisable because it’s a bit inconsistent exept when I decide to create a collection of artworks on a specific subject. Plus, I can spend months without drawing and I don’t participate in community projects. Maybe that’s why you didn’t spot me ;)

I spent two joyful but exhausting christmas days with my whole family (which I love but I’m not a social person) and I was kinda hungover today…I even accidentally took a 3 hours nap this afternoon

I’m actually on vacations and I’ll probably start working on part 3 of my Genderfluid Snek Chronicles tomorrow !

9. Which is scarier, stories about realistic human monsters, or stories about non human monsters?

It depends on the context of what a “realistic human monster” is that you’re talking about. Do you mean a literal human who is a monster or a monster that’s humanoid in shape? It’s all grey in that area.

I’d have to say realistic human monsters because of a nice RL Stine fact. He never included things like drugs, abuse, or divorce in his stories because he wanted his readers to understand that none of these things could actually happen and they were all fictional. When you read a story about a human terrorizing people you know there’s a possibility that it could actually happen. It could happen to you. But reading a story about being pursued by an inhuman creature that’s more often than not supernatural, there’s always that doubt that it’s not even remotely possible. 

That’s what made The Shining such a classic. It’s about a father trying to be better for his family before his sickness hurts them. He’s dealing with addiction, depression, isolation, and possibly delusions. It’s a realistic thing that happens to many people. It’s scary to think about being in that position. Being pursued by a trusted authority figure who wants you dead. A father. Your own flesh and blood. 

Ask any woman, minority, or member of the LGBT community. Are you more scared of someone following you while you’re walking all alone? Or an entirely fictitious monster that could only possibly exist inside the confines of a story?

Well I can sing almost all of the bad copy pasta turned into a rap song (the rawr x3 pounces on you one) without looking at the lyrics. I still need the lyrics but i can sing most of it.

My discord bio setting thingy is a twist off a V for Vendetta quote. it says "🍅A revolution without 2 am veggietales is a revolution not worth having!" This is because on of my servers has started playing veggietales music at 2am, and its a party. (The original quote is "A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having!"

My first actual cosplay was Canada from Hetalia. I decided to go to A-Kon wearing this 5 layer costume in the middle of june, which btw where i live, is like asking to get over heated way too quickly (it did happen that i got over heated). During that trip, I saw Nathan Sharp in a panel and he answered my question, I got my first piece of fanart (i think it was a hetalia think, idk where it is now) and I actually walk past several cosplay youtubers without recognizing them (at the time i watch a lot of cosplay youtubers)
